Machine Readable Passport - MRP Nepal - MRP Passport Nepal Make MRP Passport easily

I have seen many people inquiring about Machine Readable Passport („MRP“) of Nepal. As I made my passport recently in Nepal (From Department of Passport, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kathmandu), I thought to share my experience with you as it may help many people. This will also brings me back to some writing after a long gap.

First of all, you need to understand that if you have hand-written passport issued by Government of Nepal, it will no longer be valid after November 24, 2015 (even if the date of expiry indicated in the passport is beyond this date). That means you have less than a year’s validity of your existing passport. If you are going to apply for any new visa, generally, no country will give you visa unless you have a passport of minimum six month’s validity. Therefore, it is high time that you renew your existing machine non-readable passport to machine readable passport.

This information below is provided based on my experience of making passport from Nepal. If you are approaching to Nepalese Embassies located in different countries, the process and documentation may slightly vary. Here we go to know how to make MRP from Nepal.

STEP 1:

1. The application forms for MRP should be downloaded from Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) website. As you have to submit the computer typed form, fill the details in the form in computer itself. Hand written form will not be accepted by MOFA. You can download the form and instructions regarding how to fill it correctly from the following links:

http://www.dopmofa.gov.np/mrp/

http://www.dopmofa.gov.np/pdf/Rightly%20filled%20in%20MRP%20form.pdf

http://www.dopmofa.gov.np/pdf/form2-4mv2-1.pdf (Main Form - Please print three copies of this form. In one of these three copies, do not forget to print “Recommendation of CDO’s office from where you have made your Citizenship Card” on the back side of the firm.)

http://www.dopmofa.gov.np/pdf/Varification%20letter%20annex.pdf (Recommendation of CDO’s office from where you have made your Citizenship Card – Please understand that you must print this form on the backside of one of the main form)

You should not fill anything on this recommendation page which you have printed on the backside of the main form. This will be filled by CDO’s office when you go to submit the form. They will do so by their handwriting after checking the record.

2. While taking the print, please be careful about print settings. As per MOFA website, the following has been instructed:

विवरण भरेपछि प्रिन्ट गर्दा ध्यान दिनुपर्ने कुरा

o प्रिन्ट गर्दा paper size A4 हुनुपर्छ ।

o page scaling मा "none" option हानेर मात्र प्रिन्ट गर्नुपर्छ ।

The instructions say that the paper should be A4 on which passport applications are printed and please select “none” option in page scaling of printer setting. Please do as has been instructed. Otherwise, your form will be rejected.

3. You have to also be careful about photo. The photo should be without spectacles and the forehead should be seen and should not be covered by hair among other technical details. The instructions regarding passport photo can be found here:

http://www.dopmofa.gov.np/pdf/ICAO-Template.pdf

You can read more instructions and details from MOFA website, Department of Passport: http://www.dopmofa.gov.np/mrp/

4. Once the passport application form and photos (they need three copies) are ready, stick the photo on the form. One photo should be pasted with glue on the front page of the form where box for photo has been provided (which clearly says, “Affix the photo with a dab of glue in the box”). Another photo should be pasted on the back side of the form in which you have printed the CDO’s recommendation. There is no specific box in which you need to paste your photo. So, paste it on the right side of the page just above the big box of recommendation. Make sure it will not touch any printed letters.

5. On the front page, you have to put the thumb impressions of your both hands. Here, you must be extra-cautious. Use only black ink for the thumb impressions and they should not touch any line of the box. So, be careful and make sure your thumb impression does not touch top and bottom lines of the form. Of course, they should not touch left and right side lines of the box.

6. You have to also put your signature on the forms. It can be signed in any but in one language. Either in Nepali or in English only but with a black ink pen.

If you find hassle in doing above things or if you are not confident of above, take help of passport agents which are located outside every CDO’s office or outside Additional CDO’s office if your area is covered by Additional CDO Office (ILAKA PRASASHAN KARYALAYA). Generally, agents charge Rs. 300-400 along with photos and do a good work.

7. Once you have above things ready, please go to CDO’s office or Additional CDO’s office if your area is covered by Additional CDO Office (ILAKA PRASASHAN KARYALAYA) in your district from where you have received your Citizenship Card (Nagarikata). You should also attach a photocopy of your Nagarikata and old passport along with the filled form. You must carry your original Citizenship Card (Nagarikata) and original passport (if you have already taken one in the past). If you have lost your passport and making it again, you should go with proper advertisements in newspaper and police report.

Also, you should write an application (can be handwritten or computer print) addressing the CDO’s office or Additional CDO’s office (as the case may be) requesting him to verify the record and issue the recommendation or certify the details printed on back side of the main form.

8. In CDO’s office or in Additional CDO’s office, they will check the record of your Nagarikata and issue the certification/verification/recommendation. The government employees fill the back side of the main form themselves and the Section Officer (Third Class Gazetted Officer) puts his signature on your photo and on the form and you will be given the copy with the stamping of the seal of the CDO’s office or in Additional CDO’s office.

Once this is done, you can decide whether you want to pay only Rs. 5,000/- and wait for minimum 2 months. If you want to do so, you can submit the stamped form there itself in the same CDO’s office or in Additional CDO’s office.

If you need your passport urgently, you have to go to Department of Passport, (DOP) Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Narayanhiti Durbar, Kathmandu. In this case, you have to pay Rs. 10,000/- but will get a passport within a week.

9. If you go to DOP in Kathmandu, you should carry along with you the form which has been certified by CDO’s office or Additional CDO’s office, one additional form (this one is the most important as it will be scanned by DOP), your original Nagarikata and your original Passport if you have already taken one along with Nepali Rupees Ten Thousand (NR 10,000/-) in Cash.

10. You are advised to go early in the morning and get in the Queue (Line) so that your turn will come early during the day. As on average 2500 people per day will be applying for MRP and the number is going to increase day by day, going very early will help. You are advised to reach there and be in queue not later than 8 am. I reached there at 8.30am and I could submit my form only at 3.45 pm in the afternoon.

11. There will be token system to manage the line. Nothing to worry as it is a mechanism to control lines and people. There will be check of photos and forms and if anything is found incorrect and insufficient, you will be asked to bring another form/photo as the case may be. As this screening will be after getting token numbers, in case you are told to change any form or photo, do not panic. Go outside. Take the print of another form or get another photo clicked. There are many agents on Jamal – Kesar Mahal Road and they do a sound job. DO NOT THROW THE OLD FORMS BROUGHT FROM CDO’s OFFICE AS THEY MUST BE SUBMITTED even if they are found faulty. Especially, the recommendation letter (certified/verified letter) must be submitted to DOP even if they are not as per standards.

12. Thereafter, once your turn comes submit the form and pay the amount in the counter next to form collection counter. You will get a slip from Global IME Bank. This slip is a proof that you have submitted the passport form. You must present this while collecting your passport after a week.

13. You come back after a week to collect passport and present the slip of Global IME Bank to the passport collection counter. You must bring your Nagarikata and old Passport while coming to collect the MRP. You must be present yourself for collection. The passport office puts a “Cancelled without Prejudice” stamp on your old passport and gives you your MRP. That’s it.

नखोज्नु है मलाई पहिलाको गाउँ घरको ठेगानामा
म त अब परदेशी पो भैसकेछु, परदेशी पो भैसकेछु

Review of "Words of Freedom: Ideas of A Nation" - Collection of Speeches by Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru

2010-07-19T09:51:00.003-07:00

I mentioned in my previous post that I am reading “Words of Freedom: Ideas of A Nation” by Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, independent India’s First Prime minister till 1964, until his death. I have just finished reading that book. Here is my close review on that.

The Book is a very small one, having only around 100 pages and the size of paper itself is so small that a regular reader can read it within few hours.
The Book is published by Penguin Books India and you can find the details here:

You can buy book from this link:

I had finished reading this book within few sittings many days earlier but because of the lack of time, I could write only now.

You are aware that this book is a collection of Punditji’s speeches during the independence of India and after that when matters were being deliberated in ‘Constituent Assembly’. As the time from where the speeches are taken, it gives us a kind of symbol that the speeches collected here are among the best. I am sure the publishers picked up those speeches which tried to spread the ideas of a united nation and after reading this book, every citizen should feel proud, and motivated.

However, the speeches contained in the book did not sound so inspiring to me. They were not that much able to generate thoughts and ideas and I doubt, if reading them, if anyone gets so much inspired. The book at the end, in my view, fails to evoke thoughts on readers and nor is able to picture the situation and history of India at that time. On this way, book fails to do justice to the title and to the readers.

May be we have seen many wars, terrorism, and violence that we need to hear or read stronger words to get inspired. I am sure people must have obviously got inspired at those days when they read these words and definitely when Punditji delivered these words but in the absence of Punditji’s voice today, only the words cannot comfort us. I felt we needed stronger words, more appeals and more closeness to get inspired. Therefore, the book does not figure in my best.

It is not Punditji’s fault that he cannot evoke or deliver message to our generation from his words which were uttered by him in that great time when the landscape of India was changing; when the most sought freedom were given to us by those heard and unheard martyr’s hard works and when Punditji along with Ambedkar and Rajendra Prasad were busy to institutionalize the most cherished freedom and democracy. Definitely, it cannot be Punditji’s fault. There is something wrong with us. Must be!

But, there is one fault that I find fault with the publishers is that there is virtually no background against which the speeches were delivered except a small one or two paragraphs. That is not enough. The book is not a big historical document analyzing the time. It is definitely targeted to our Macdonald’s and SMS and MMS generation which no nothing about our glorious history which was built by those great fighters. If that is the intention, then, there was a strong need of giving backgrounds to events that Punditji was narrating.

There, I see the fault of not having an editor. Punditji refers to so many world events that we are completely unaware of. Many times, I tried to relate and guess some events that I thought might be referred by the orator. Therefore, in the absence of such historical backgrounds, sometimes readers cannot fully grasp with the ideas that Punditji is trying to deliver. Here, I see the fault of Publishers. I think that the book could be more informative having an editor who gives in detail the background of the historical events and make readers aware about the various incidents referred by Punditji. This could have been done a commentary before or after each speech or by way of footnotes, but I would not have preferred lengthy footnotes.

Overall, the book is just Okay, much less than my expectation. You can read once and pay homage to Punditji. I am sure next edition will be an improved one.

Review of The Associate - Novel by John Grisham

2010-07-05T11:13:00.000-07:00

Yesterday, I had written a short post about what you are reading and had requested you to share with us whatever you might be reading. In that small post, I had informed you that I am currently reading two books; one is Gohn Grisham’s Novel ‘The Associate’ and the other one is Words of Freedom: Ideas of a nation by Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, independent India’s First Prime minister till 1964, until his death. The second book by Nehru is a collection of his famous speeches from 1920 till 1950s and I have just started. I think I will be taking little more time to read this book, though it is a small one, going little slow this time.

The first Book John Grisham’s Novel, ‘The Associate’, I have just managed to finish it. It is a little bulky book, of course not that big, but almost of 400 pages. It is about a lawyer, who has just passed from, rather graduated from Yale School of Law, who has been trapped by some dangerous elements of our society by blackmailing the lawyer with the threat that his past will be exposed in case he does not co-operate with the dickheads.

The Cover page of the Novel writes, “It’s a deadly game of blackmail. And, they are making him play.” The whole book is about how they make him play and how he manages to escape from there. Though the book is very intriguing and fascinating, I found its ending a rather dull and boring and our curiosity fades without giving us any answers about our excitement. The book is interesting to start and continue, but in the end, leads us nowhere and ends with dull climax. After reading the book, you feel quite dissatisfied at the ending and it feels as if John Grisham suddenly feels lazy to write.

The lawyer, who is a very brilliant one passes from Yale law School and is also an editor of Yale Law Journal decides in life that he serves the humanity being a paralegal and devotes his time in community work. His father, also a lawyer by profession from a small town, feels immensely proud when his son conveys his plan about future after graduating from law school. The father lawyer does not like Wall Street corporate lawyers who work for hours billing heavily to clients and giving up their all personal lives. He wants his son to have a busy but a practice of his own where he can decide when to work and when to rest. This is the plan but what happen afterwards, is more chilling at times and very interesting.

The boy, as he is a boy, has a colorful life in his school and colleges in addition to his good academics. Boozing, fagging, and sleeping with some hot girls are not that unusual at that time. Now, there is a special girl, with whom he has slept many times and has done everything a man and woman can do which is humanely possible. She has been described as a hot woman loving sex at anytime and in any place and many people, of course her classmates/students have slept with her is not a secret.

As so happens, one day, there is a party in this particular boy’s flat and the hot lady comes, smooches some boys, drinks, smokes and the process continues. Some boys/her classmates ride over her and she passes after the influence of alcohol. Some two boys have sex and this all will be recorded by some mobile camera by someone where our main protagonist, the lawyer is seen drinking but no clue about whether he had sex with that hot lady. Next day, the lady alleges rape and police starts investigation, but soon the matter is closed as the allegations do not hold much water. In the novel, the rape scene and allegations have been described as tale of five years back, and everyone forgets.

But, these people, who try to camouflage as FBI Agents do not forget this. After five years, the boy is forced to join a biggest law firm of New York City, and his job is try to steal the confidential information relating to one client and pass to the framers. If the boy does not cooperate, then, they threaten him that the case will resurface again, videos will be on net and the lady will be encouraged to freshly reconsider the rape charges. It may so happen that the boy will be exonerated by court but after strenuous media trial, bad publicity and may be rendered jobless even after holding him innocent. To keep that video secret, he agrees all the terms and conditions imposed on him, and start working. From here, the story is all about his meeting with these rogue elements frequently and finally the young lawyer takes FBI help to nab these miscreants. But, FBI fails and without any clue about who and why these elements were trying to trap this boy has no answer.

As I said earlier, though the story passes slowly and interestingly, at the last, it fails to meet readers’ expectations about the lead of these people. Keeping that part aside, the book overall is good and makes an average read.

Reading something???

2010-07-04T10:06:00.001-07:00

R U reading something? I am asking this question so that you can share something here in my blog. Like, I am reading two old books. One is Novel by John Grisham - The Associate. I am about to finish them. There are only 50-70 pages left. I think I can finish it tonight. Story is interesting in this Novel. It is about trapping a young lawyer and trying to steal secret information from a law firm in New York through this Associate. How is the ending? I do not know. After I finish reading it tonight, I will be doing a complete review of it from my perspectives though I am sure that many people have already written on it despite it not being any master piece and just a pulp fiction.

Another book I will be reading from today is about and written by Jawaharlal Neharu, Independent India's First PM. It's something about freedom in India - independence from British Colony way back in 1947 AD and Neharu's take on freedom struggle and Independence. More will be here, once I complete reading them.

Have you recently read something? How did you find? Let us know.

This one is called ViraLink (great name!) and was masterminded by Andy Coates. Got it from A Day In The Life. Be sure to read the post about it over at his blog, as you may not understand it at first, but I assure you this could be a nice little link builder here. Instructions below:

1.) Copy and paste the entire matrix of “ViralTags” below.

2.) Substitute the Host Tag and one of the “ViralTags” in the matrix with your anchor text of choice containing your blog’s URL. Please keep anchor text to a maximum of 3 words to keep the matrix size manageable.

3.) When you get a ping back from someone that has your link in one of their “ViralTags”, practice good karma by copying his/her Host Tag’s anchor text (automatically the associated link will also be copied) and paste it over one of your “ViralTags” below.

4.) Encourage and invite your readers to do the same and soon this can grow virally.

A Story of thrown away Prince

2010-04-26T09:21:00.000-07:00

Today, sitting in this training hall
I can see those old pictures on wall
of those old kings and his fathers
sitting on the growling tiger

Today, it reminds me the history of my
ancestors to whom this world belonged
people bowed before them
and showed their royalty

Today, I have nothing to hold
and no one is there to pay royalty
I can only wish that
my ancestors had not sacrificed their throne
which they did!
being overwhelmed by their stupidity
I can only wish

I remember their stubbornness and their short-sightedness
and only pictures of this wall remember them

People have not only forgotten them
but have also thrown their picture from their wall
and I have done the same - thrown their picture
from the wall of my room
had not they been my ancestors
I would have converted these wall pictures to
a garbage

But, my hands are tied as they belong
to my blood
or rather I belong to their blood
I see their photo, they are sitting on the tigers
which are growling with anger
with wide open mouth
even tigers are unhappy

Goodbye Dashain-----See You Next year !!

2009-10-01T09:57:00.001-07:00

My previous blog entry was on "Aayu drona sute". In that blogpost, I had written about meaning of "Aayu drona sute" which is a Sanskrit hymns that our parents chant when the offer Tika on our forehead. Now, Dashain is almost over. Dashain will be over on the day of Kojagrat Purnima, which is 15th day of Dashain and as per lunar calendar, this day we can see the full moon.

The full moon day in Nepali is called 'Purnima'. There are many poems, stories and sayings based on Purnima in नेपाली साहित्य (Nepali Literature). 'Purnima ko Jun Jasto' is a phrase widely used in Nepali Sahitya (नेपाली साहित्य). 'Purnimako Jun Jasto' is a phrase which always ends with the word Ujjyalo, having a lot of light. So, there can be phrase like your face is purnimako jun jasto/purnimako jun jasto ujyalo. Generally, when people use the phrase 'purnimako jun jasto', the word 'ujyaalo(means light)' need not be said, as that is understood easily.

The words Purnima, Jun, Chandra are also words they are widely used in nepali gazal ( नेपाली गजल)/
nepaligajal . As we all know that gazal was derived from Urdu and Arabic, but Nepali Gazal has easily adapted this and these days, many people are writing Nepali Gazal. I am also heavily interested in Nepali Gazal but it is very difficult to write a Nepali Gazal which describes our great festival dashain. mero mukh ma ta sadhaai maya prem ko nepali gazal matra aauchhaaa!!!

I have tried a lot to write a Nepali gazal which can describe dashain but I have miserably failed till now. Hopefully, I can write soon here and upload for all the readers.
In Nepali, there are various poems (Kabita) on Dashain. Like Nepali poet, Kabi Siromani Lekhnath Paudyal has written a dashain Kabita 'Hatyo Sara Hilo Mailo, Harayo Pani ko Barsa' (All muddy and dirty scenes around are over, and the rain has vanished!!! This describes the period when Dashain is just to come after rainy season in Nepal and Season enters into festival mood). Unfortunately, In Nepal, especially in Kathmandu, this year rained even on the Day of Dashain. It may be because of Climate Change and Warming. may be I do not know!

Nepali kabita are different from nepali ghazals in the sense, Nepali kabitas have their own rules which are popularly called Chhand. Though there are freestyle Nepali Kabita, still, they are different than Gazhals in the sense Nepali Kabitas are untouched by Urdu and Arabic Rules.

Now, in the backdrop of waving goodbye to Dashain festival, I bless all of my readers with dashain festival blessing mantra. Let all my readers are blessed with "aayu drona sute" meaning of which has been already written in my previous entry. For the time being, My blessings to you and hopefully, I can write nepali gazal to enrich(hopefully to enrich) नेपाली साहित्य in my future days. I also expect to write some "Nepali kabita haru"/Nepali Poems in the future to revive my interests in Nepali Literature.

For the time being, my good wishes to you...........Dashain subhakamana before I bid a goodbye to this year's Dashain. Goodbye Vijaya Dashami, 2009.

Aayu Drona Sute........to Kaun Jage? Dashain Ko Subhakamana.

2009-09-26T04:26:00.001-07:00

"aayu drona sute" is Sanskrit mantra/hymns that our parents chant when they put Tika on our forehead in Dashain. In our childhood, it used to be sometimes fun for us. We used to joke like 'Aayu Drona Sute'..........dashain ka bela sabai jana sute, Chor haru jage.........That means all people like drona and others have slept, and only the thiefs are roaming around in the night...........it was our interpretation to create some humour.

The actual meaning of 'Aayu Drona Sute' means May you have a long life like Son of Drona. The Son of Drona is called Asosthama, which is considered to be one of the Aastha Chiranjivi (Aastha Chiranjivi means those eight people who never die as per Hindu epics). Therefore, when our parents bless us saying 'Aayu Drona Sute', that means let my children have long life like Asosthama.........that means you never die.

"Aayu drona sute" is in sanskrit and it is a long chant and each words used there signify something great thing about various people. It is basically the blessings given by your near and dear ones who are generally aged in your families and respected by all family members.

When I talk about Dashain, the nine days puja/worship to god and the tenth day Vijaya dashami should be fondly rembered. Dashain is a festival having fifteen days totally.

There are Dashain Kabita written by various great poets in Nepal. These Kabita/poems depict the grandeur of Dashain and enlighten more about Dashain.

In terms of food also, Dashain is something different like what did nepali people eat in dashain matters. It is mostly a non-veg festival unless you eat only vegetarian food. Generally, the non-vegetarian foods are eaten from 8th day of Navaratri, which is called MahaAsthami and that is today. People, as per their tradition, cut goat, buffalo, chicken etc. on this occasion.

My dashain wish can not be fulfilled but I am yearning for going home. I wish that all Nepalese Celebtare Dashain in great mood.

By evening, I wish to post a nepali gazal about Dashain. I hope I can write a one to depict the beauty and majesty of this Festival.

Wish you all a Happy Dashain.
N Someone is not well this time. Though she does not know much about Dashain, and does not believe on it, I wish that Maata Durga Bhawani will bless her for her good health and prosperous life.

Once Again, Happy Dashain!

Vijaya Dashami - Dashain - Subhakamana

2009-09-25T13:16:00.001-07:00

First of all, I would like to wish a very Happy Vijaya Dashami and Bada Dashain to all my readers who have visited talkingforum.wordpress.com. Dashain is the greatest festival of Nepal and for all Nepalese around the world. This festival is celebrated as a mark of victory of truth over untruthfulness. There are different mythological and religious stories about Dashain and there are different reasons for it for its celebration. Without going in details the reasons behind its celebaration, what can be safely concluded is it is the biggest festival in Nepal and gives the perfect reasons for Nepalese to meet their relatives; to return to country and homes for those who are far from their home.

Last year, I went my home to celebrate Dashain. That was after 5 straight years. But, this year, I again could not go in this Dashain. I may go home only in December this year.

While recalling those good days of Dashain last year and five years before, the blessings given by parents, grand parents with the sanskrit chant of hymns which starts as "aayu drona sute" counts a lot. In Childhood, sometimes, Dashain must have meant money that we used to get from maternal grandparents, but in all essence, the meetings with family members, the blessings by each others and meeting with relatives is just superb that places this festival entirely on a new pedestal.

I wished to write a Dashain Nepali Kabita for this Dashain but because of some other busy schedule, I have not been able to put down anything. Hopefully, Dashain Nepali Kabita, I can write, in some other days within this Dashain.

I am feeling little sad this time not to be in Home. My many friends went home and wished that I could also go. But, the issues of leave. Hope next time, I can fly with them when I go to airport to see off my friend at the airport.

Once again, finally, I wish all of you a happy Vijaya Dashami/Bijaya Dashami and Hope that Durga Maata le Tapai ko Sabai Kalyan Garun. (May 'Durga Bhawani' bless you forever and show you the great path in life)

I maintain many blogs in the web. I am focusing only in one blog these days. The theme of each blog is different but sometimes, I feel that the same blog post can be posted in different blogs depending on its theme and relevance. This blog post is just a test post. I am trying to post a single entry in my four different blogs at a time. For this, I have taken a help of Scribe fire developed by Firefox Mozilla. Let me see how I can do these postings at a time.

I will be back with my regular posts soon.

I miss you!

2009-07-29T10:02:00.000-07:00

I miss you baby, I miss you so much
I miss the moments with you
The all those cherished moments with you
Hiding myself in the warmth of your hug
I was blessed with your love
I miss you baby, I miss you so much

The flat and clean roads we walked
The clean and flowing water we observed
The sky touching towers gave us the wow view
Which we observed together
I miss those all moments baby, and
I miss you, miss you so much

The calmness around and the cleanliness
My ears and eyes still long for that
The greenery and the magic in the air
My body and soul still die for that
The parks those we visited around and the flowers
We clicked at every intersection
That reminds me-you-my baby
And I miss you so much

The brave soldiers to whom we saluted
The great warriors to whom we bestowed our respect
And moved around in that machine
To see the lakes, to touch the water
To touch you
I miss those entire moments baby
I miss you!!!!

Lusty Love of God

2009-06-16T10:54:00.000-07:00

This is a very sad poem.....I wrote somedays back when I was not in a good mood. i was just sad, low, depressed and mentally frustrated when working pressure tried to sodomise my brain :).

This sounds little horrible at the end and you may feel like never reading these kinds of words but the fact of the matter is that sometimes, we have to express feelings like this. Just a feeling, so U may not give serious thoughts on these words.

It does not matter to God
because he just needs you today
He loves you so much and
Today, He just wants you

So, he wants you to die and go to him
meet him, hug him and kiss him
because God wants you today

How do you go to God does not matter to him
Just that matters is that you have to be with him

You drink poison or set fire on you
You jump from your house or let the lorry knock you down
You suffer before dying or pass away peacefully
Nothing matters to God as he has no sympathy to you
But he wants you and he loves you

The God has only one wish list today to get you
as the lusty God loves you today !!!!

Oh ! that beautifully dirty lake

2009-05-21T23:30:00.000-07:00

The still lake next to my house
with stagnant and dirty water
very few fishes jumping in and out
filled with lichen and algae
snakes moving around
looks beautifully dirty
looks so beautiful to me

The same lake was like a lake
some twenty years ago
when I was a child, a small kid
sitting on the stones/rocks near it
on the background of setting sun
what I did not do with her
near that beautifully dirty lake

It was not allowed to go near that lake
some twenty years ago
with the fear that I may fall inside
or a monster may grab and take me inside
the prohibition was there,
so there was zeal
to hide from my mom’s eyes
and go and hide behind that rocks on the
shore of that beautiful lake

I hid myself behind the rock, from the eyes of my mom
I hid my face under her arms, on her chest
Kid ! I was and so she was!
but, we felt matured and adult
and what we did not do!
near the beach of that beautiful lake
so, I find today
the lake is beautifully dirty

I can just imagine her touch
her soft kisses, her soft love
while I see this lake alone
dying with time
wish I get that touch again
on the shore of this beautifully dirty lake
behind those colossal rocks
which there were there, not today !
on the backdrop of setting sun

I love her and that beautifully dirty lake!!!!

Random Thoughts

I am walking down a straight road

alone

A straight road with minor curves

little twists and some more turns but

a staright road

No destiny of my own

I owe my destiny to the road wherever it takes me

I do not like to go to unknown places

Therefore, walking a straight lane/road with

minor curves, minor turns

There is no fixed place to be reached

No time scheduled to reach anywhere

I am not racing, nor competing with anyone

I can maintain my own pace

racing with myself

alone in a straight road with minor curves

little turns here and there

I can see the end of the road after long walks

but no destiny on sight

I can see still and stagnant road

never gets carried away with my constant pace

sleeps silently beneath my foot

The road has been used for years

No complain of its own against anyone

may be straight road weeps sliently

being raped for years by humna foot

but no complain with me

just allows me to walk on these straight roads

straight roads with minor turns

I keep on walking with no end in sight

Life is singing happy tunes!!!!

I am very happy today, I do not know why. I just feel like that. In fact, I should be sad today, real sad. I do not know why should I feel sad but I feel that sad moments are reserved for the day. again, I do not know why I am happy today or happy now. But, I just feel that I should feel happy now. It's enough that I felt sad. Last Some days, I was in some kind of doubt, I think I was sad. And today was dreadful by any standard.!!!! I should be really sad and crying for today's date as it turned out to be ! But, Now, I am happy as I have to be. There is no other option. My colleague Anandita says life has so much bad things/harsh moments which we need to brush aside and move ahead. That's it! She is absolutely right here. A lot of these kinds of moments I have set aside and brushed off but again, it's a question of heart!, sometimes, U feel so helpless and hopeless, and U again, gather all the courage and We need to move ahead and So, I am doing.

It's something like what Vinnet forwarded that mail to me, 9 out of 10. Only 10 percent things in life are outside our control and rest 90% are on our hands. These things will be as turn out to be depending on the way we act. I forwarded this message to Aida and she said one day to me, life is 90% on your control as you said as per your forwarded mail. Againl, I felt she was right!

Why I should I feel sad for the moments which is 10% of my life when I make my life happy by controlling 90% of things in my life??

Today's incidents are like nightmares to me. But, they are just nightmares. i am not in the mood of spoiling my sleep and coming days by remembering these nightmares. If I remember these nightmares, I may have real nightmare in the night. I am tired of these things.

I expect to be a great day tomorrow and all days after tomorrow. Let me if I can have great days but I will do real hard to make them better days.

Now, I feel real cool and really motivated...........Hey World ! Here I come, real happy man!
