Johnny Depp has revealed that he is blind in one eye, and that he can only see a few inches in front of his face when he isn’t wearing glasses.

The 50-year-old actor was talking to Rolling Stone about his vision problems, stating that he is blind in his left eye, and that he is near-sighted in his right.

Depp stated, “Everything is just very, very blurry. I’ve never had proper vision.” He also talked about the problems he has not having anonymity, noting, “Going somewhere where you don’t have to be on the run or sneak in through the kitchen or the underground labyrinth of the hotel.”

He went on to add, “At a certain point, when you get old enough or get a few brain cells back, you realize that, on some level, you lived a life of a fugitive.”

Depp also found time to discuss the demise of his 14-year-relationship with Vanessa Paradis, who he dated for 14 years, stating, “The last couple years have been a bit bumpy. At times, certainly unpleasant, but that’s the nature of break-ups, I guess, especially when there are kiddies involved.”

He then added, “Relationships are very difficult, especially in the racket that I’m in because you’re constantly away or they’re away and so it’s hard. It wasn’t easy on her. It wasn’t easy on me. It wasn’t easy on the kids.”

Depp also noted that, “It doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids, and you’ll always know each other, and you’re always going to be in each other’s lives because of those kids. You might as well make the best of it.”

Whilst he has tried to hide the public limelight from his two children, stating, “You can’t shield them, because then you’d be lying. So you can at least be honest with your kids, and you say the absolute truth to your child — that was very important to not pussyfoot around.”

Shakira’s baby Milan, made his debut at The Voice finale on Tuesday.

The Colombian singer brought in her little boy as she said farewell after only one season as a coach.

Shakira replaced Christina Aguilera who also made an appearance on Tuesday night and looks a lot lighter than she used to last season.

Aguilera came back to perform her hit single Feel This Moment which she sings with another Colombian artist, Pitbull.

The adorable photos of baby were posted by Shakira on Instagram with a legend that read:

“Mommy thanks for bringing me to @nbcthevoice, so fun!!”

“Though your fellow coaches are a doubtful influence on me, I’m ready for season 6!!” she joked of her fellow coaches shenanigans.

She did not have any contestants left standing in the final, which 16 year-old Danielle Bradbery won making her the youngest winner the show has ever crowned.

Shakira was a newbie on the show alongside Usher and original coaches Adam Levine, front man for the band Maroon 5 and country singer Blake Shelton who won the competition.

On Sunday, Shakira also shared a family photo celebrating her soccer-player-boyfriend, Gerard Piqué’s first Father’s Day.

In a recent interview with People magazine the musician praised her boyfriend, “He’s been amazing. The baby spends as much time with me as he does with his dad,” the 36-year-old gushed.

“He’s the kind of dad who is full hands-on. He changes diapers; he enjoys bathing him. That’s a real help for me.”

The singer and 26-year-old Barça player began dating in 2011 shortly after she ended her relationship with Argentinean lawyer Antonio de la Rúa.

“I know he’s the one person who is with me not because of any interest other than the love that unites us.” Shakira told People for the July issue.

Chief Keef had a pretty terrible start to his week, after he was forced to deal with four legal problems over the course of 48 hours.

Keef, who along with Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi, and several other artists, featured on Kanye West’s new album, Yeezus, was first of all handed a second paternity in a year as he say outside a Stokie courtroom.

The rapper was there dealing with a month old case after he was arrested last moth for speeding in Northern Illinois. Keef, whose real name is Keith F. Cozart, was recorded doing 110 mph in a 55 mph zone along the Edens Expressway, to which he pleaded guilty on Monday morning.

As he left the courthouse though he was arrested once again on a month-old trespassing complaint. Just a few blocks away from the courthouse officers charged him with a misdemeanor and took him into custody.

Leah Starkman, Keef’s attorney, stated on Monday evening that the 17-year-old hip hop star was released only hours later, without bail after being processed.

Starkman wasn’t impressed with the police’s action though, stating, “His management believes he’s being harassed by the police. I know that he’s on the police radar, but I don’t know if it’s harassment.”

However, this wasn’t the end to Keef’s worries. An arrest warrant was issued in Florida on Wednesday morning for him after the rapper told police last August that he had “weed” in his “right front pocket,” after he had been caught riding in a stolen red Ferrari convertible as he celebrated his 17th birthday.

Cozart was unable to appear in court in January because he was already in jail in Chicago on a different charge. A Florida judge has issued an arrest warrant which will be served if he is ever in the vicinity of Miami Beach again.

Drake has revealed that he only realised he didn’t understand the true meaning of love after having a talk with the actor, Will Smith.

The rapper was talking to GQ, where he stated, “I had lunch the other day with someone I extremely look up to. OK – I had lunch with Will Smith, and listening to him talk, it made me think I don’t know what love is. He said something profound. He said love is when you become one and you need that person. It’s not about wanting anymore, you need that person. Hearing that, I don’t know if I’ve ever felt that way.”

Drake went on to talk abut the emotions of his new album, entitled Nothing Was The Same, proclaiming that he has always held women in “very high regard” and that sometimes he struggles to let go of his relationship with them.

He also discussed his previous work, saying that his past albums have revolved around his pursuit of love and this is the only record where he is enjoying his current situation.

Drake stated,”I’m enjoying it right now. Maybe this is my time to grind it out, make a run for it and add some memories with my boys.”

However Drake also admitted that he isn’t having sex at the moment, stating, “You know the way fighters don’t f–k before the fight? Sometimes I feel like I’m so focused on training my body and getting my mind right to create this album that sex isn’t one of my main priorities,”

But he did admit he’s not avoiding it for the rest of his life, noting, “If someone is around that I know and trust, I’m down. But I’m not going to end up with some stranger at this party.”

Daniel Radcliffe can act, everyone saw that in the Harry Potter saga. Now the actor is creating buzz with his on stage performance in The Cripple of Inishmaan in which he plays a disabled orphan very convincingly.

Daniel has returned to the stage in London to perform the part in Michael Grandage’s revival of Martin McDonagh’s play.

The play is running at the Noel Coward Theatre until August 31. The story is set in 1934 and disabled teenager Billy Claven (Radcliffe) lives with his “aunties” on the isle of Inishmaan off the west coast of Ireland.

He is bullied because of his disabilities and gets away from it all by immersing himself in books and staring at cows. Things change when a Hollywood filmmaker arrives in a near by island.

“Radcliffe also has the precious gift, vital in a play full of narrative surprises, of seeming artful and vulnerable at the same time.” says Michael Billington from The Guardian, who gives Radcliffe five stars for his performance.

This is Daniel Radcliffe’s third stage performance in the past six years. In 2007, he stripped naked in London and New York productions of the play Equus and appeared on Broadway in 2011 in the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in which he shows he can sing and dance as well.

His cripple performance has also been described as ” honest, sensitive, and not showy.”

“(He) proves, as he did in Equus, that he is a fine stage actor with a gift for playing social outsiders.” Billington adds.

Critics are impressed with the star’s grounded personality. Not only that, he has a loyal fan base considering the number of people waiting for him at the stage door.

But Daniel hasn’t just been busy with plays, he has appeared in the 2012 horror film The Woman in Black and also in the indie file Kill Your Darlings in which he plays poet Allen Ginsberg in the 2013.

“With theatre I always feel I learn a lot, about stamina and energy and those kind of things, but with film, film is very much my home,” Daniel Radcliffe recently told Reuters and he made it clear he wants varied roles.

Amy Adams, who plays Lois Lane in the new Superman reboot, Man Of Steel, has revealed that she is completely featureless “without makeup.”

Adams recently admitted that she tried out for the role on two separate occasions in the past, and had no problems playing second fiddle to Henry Cavill’s Superman.

The actress told Allure, for which she was on the front cover, “I’ve wanted to be in a superhero movie, and this was my best chance – as some mere mortal.”

She went on to add, “Let’s be real here. I don’t look that good in Lycra. I do all right, but I hadn’t anticipated that I was ever going to be cast as the girl in Lycra looking hot.”

Adams went on to add, “I have no features without makeup. I am pale. I have blond lashes. You could just paint my face – it’s like a blank canvas. It can be great for what I do.”

However, Adams revealed that her daughter doesn’t approve of her wearing makeup, as she associates it with her working.

She added, “I wear makeup when I work, so my daughter [Avianna, 3] associates makeup with work and the other day she asked me not to wear makeup at home. So if you see any rally unflattering paparazzi shots, I’m doing it for my daughter.”

Adams isn’t afraid to point our her own flaws, proclaiming herself a “tomboy” and stating that “perfect isn’t normal, nor is it interesting.”

She then added, “Some of these actresses or public personas who are very public about their disciplined diets, more power to them. I just don’t see the point. I’m just not going to be one of those people photographed in a bikini where people are like, ‘OMG, look at Amy!’ I mean, it might be OMG, but not for the reasons I want.”

James Gandolfini died Wednesday after the 51-year-old suffered what was reported to be a major heart attack, leaving the actor’s last project in limbo.

Though Gandolfini was best known for his portrayal as mobster Tony Soprano on The Sopranos, he continued a busy acting schedule after the show ended in 2007. In the past year he appeared in Zero Dark Thirty as director of the CIA and played casino owner Doug Munny In The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.

Gandolfini had signed on to star opposite Steve Carell in new HBO movie called Bone Wars. The period comedy is based on the Great Dinosaur Rush of the 19th century, when a scientists engaged in a mad scramble to discover dinosaur bones and identify new species.

During the Great Dinosaur Rush there were 160 new species of dinosaur discovered, but the project is being developed as a comedy. It was to follow the historical rivalry between Othniel Charles Marsh (James Gandolfini) and Edward Drinker Cope (Steve Carell), onetime friends who grew into enemies as they competed for discoveries.

When Carell joined the project in April it was listed as still in development, with HBO still searching for a writer. Gandolfini had signed on as executive producer along with Steve Carell.

With no writer identified, it seems possible that Bone Wars will be scrapped or move in a different direction with a new lead character.

Fans also won’t be able to see Gandolfini in Criminal Justice, a crime drama created for HBO but not picked up. The show was an adaptation of Peter Moffat’s 2008 BBC crime drama, and had James Gandolfini slated as the star.

Either way, fans of the late James Gandolfini will have at least one more chance to watch him in action. He finished filming on Animal Rescue, a movie co-starring Tom Hardy that was billed as “a crime-drama centered around a lost pit bull, a wannabe scam artist, and a killing.” It is scheduled for a 2014 release.

Trent Reznor has revealed that David Lynch will direct the new music video for their comeback song, “Came Back Haunted.”

Reznor, the band’s frontman, uploaded a picture to his Twitter account of himself and the legendary film director who has helmed the likes of Mullholland Drive and Eraserhead, indicating that they will once again be working together.

Reznor and Lynch previously collaborated on his 1997 film, Lost Highway.

The songwriter simply tweeted the caption, “tr;dl,” which stands for Reznor and Lynch’s names. The picture shows Lynch stood behind Reznor whose face takes up most of the frame. You can see it below.

Nine Inch Nails new single is set to be released just ahead of their new album, Hesitation Marks, which will hit shops on September 3. The band are also set to play a series of festivals across Europe, which will include Reading and Leeds music events in England.

When Reznor announced in May that the album was forthcoming, he stated, “For the last year I’ve been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly f—ing great.”

Meanwhile, David Lynch himself is currently working on his own second album, which is entitled, The Big Dream. It is the follow-up to his 2011 debut record, Crazy Clown Time, and features a cover version of Bob Dylan’s, “The Ballad of Hollis Brown.”

Lynch described the album as followed; “Most of the songs start out as a type of blues jam and then we go sideways from there. What comes out is a hybrid, modernised form of low-down blues. The Blues is an honest and emotional form of music that is thrilling to the soul. I keep coming back to it, because it feels so good.”

David Lynch To Direct Nine Inch Nails Music Video is a post from: The Inquisitr

Public Enemy have released their new single, “Get Up Stand Up,” via BitTorent.

The Hip-Hop icons have decided to give it to their fans for free via the popular torrent site. Those who download it through these means will also, in exchange for their email addresses, received the video for the song as well as outtakes and over three dozen instrumental and acapella vocals.

This will allow fans to mix the songs themselves. Public Enemy will then select their favourite fan mixes and release them too.

BitTorrent stated of Public Enemy’s decision, “Opt to unlock the Bundle with your email, and you’ll get the music video, plus outtakes, from Public Enemy.”

They then added, “You’ll also get the exclusive multitrack: 37 acapellas and stems. Make your own Public Enemy mix, and if the group likes what they hear, they’ll release it digitally for you. Call it creative activism.”

Gary G-Wiz Rinaldo, Chuck D’s manager remarked of their plans, “For many established people in the music business, there’s a fear that comes along with it. We don’t have that fear. The ability to freely share an archive and have flexibility on how it can be used is an extremely powerful tool when it comes to making music and media available.”

Previously, Chuck D told U.S. Congress that to him, “P2P to me means power to the people,” whilst he confirmed the he trusted “the consumer” much more than those “at the helm of these [record] companies.”

This is BitTorrent’s second Bundle release since they offered a preview look at Colin Firth and Emily Blunt’s movie, Arthur Newman.

This process was described as a success by the movie’s studios, with Cinedigm’s marketing head, Jill Calbaterra stating at the time, “Rather than fearing technology — a recurring mistake for our industry over the years — Cinedigm’s vision is to embrace the new opportunities offered by partnerships between Silicon Valley and Hollywood.”

Public Enemy Release Single Via BitTorrent is a post from: The Inquisitr

James Gandolfini died this afternoon in Italy. The Sopranos star died of a heart attack at the age of 51.

Chris Albrecht, who gave Sopranos the green light at HBO, said in an email to Deadline. “Absolutely stunned. I got the word from Lorraine Bracco and just got off with Brad Grey who had just heard from David Chase. We had all become a family. This is a tremendous loss.”

The 51-year-old actor started his acting career in the 1980s and became a household name in 1999 when he played Tony Soprano in the critically acclaimed drama The Sopranos.

The HBO show, which was recently named the best written show in television history, helped Gandolfini earn multiple awards including a Golden Globe, an AFI Award, and three Emmy Awards.

After The Sopranos, Gandolfini moved on to several other projects including Where The Wild Things Are, The Taking Of Phelam 1 2 3, and Zero Dark Thirty. At the time of his death, Gandolfini had three projects in production.

He is survived by his wife and two children.

Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy isn’t Kanye West. Well, that’s what Kerry Rhodes is reportedly claiming.

Rhodes, an NFL veteran who is currently a free agent, has been the subject of several rumors during the off-season. Most of the rumors center around Rhoders and his alleged gay lover but now Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and their new daughter Kaidence have been dragged into the mud.

Rhodes reportedly sent a text message to his former teammates saying he may be Kardashian’s baby daddy.

Rhodes allegedly wrote: “Man this could be my baby!! I was f—ing her the same time as K.West was lol!!!”

Some people are speculating that the NFL veteran may just be trying to prove that he’s heterosexual.

The NFL doesn’t have an active gay player and it’s unclear how the league would players and teams would react. Rhodes is currently looking for a new job and he may be trying to distance himself from any “scandal.”

Earlier this week, Rhodes posted a photo on his Facebook account showing him holding hands with a woman.

Rhodes writes: “No caption. Just real.”

Fox Sports reports that the gay rumors started circulating after his former personal assistant Russell “Hollywood” Simpson want public with their alleged relationship.

Rhodes denied that he was gay to TMZ earlier this year, saying: “Photos have been circulating of my former assistant and I that have caused some rumors regarding my sexuality, and I wanted to address the situation. I am not gay. The shots were taken during a past vacation in a casual environment with my entire business team. I know a lot of people are recently talking about athletes struggling to come out to their fans right now, and I support them, as well as wish those individuals comfort.”

Even though Shailene Woodley’s sudden departure from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was a bummer, she still has other promising projects up her sleeve. While it will be a while since we see her in the blockbuster film Divergent, we have The Spectacular Now to look forward to.

The Spectacular Now stars Miles Teller, who was fantastic in Rabbit Hole. Alongside the actor is Shailene Woodley, who stars opposite Teller as a seemingly innocent girl that has his interest. Throw in Smashed director James Ponsoldt, who seriously impressed us by creating a truthful portrait on alcoholism, and you have the perfect ingredients for a very promising film.

The Spectacular Now, which is an adaptation of the novel by Tim Tharp is described as follows:

“Sutter Keely (Miles Teller) lives in the now. It’s a good place for him. A high school senior, charming and self-possessed, he’s the life of the party, loves his job at a men’s clothing store, and has no plans for the future. A budding alcoholic, he’s never far from his supersized, whisky-fortified Thirst Master cup. But after being dumped by his girlfriend, Sutter gets drunk and wakes up on a lawn with Aimee Finicky (Shailene Woodley) hovering over him. She’s different: the “nice girl” who reads science fiction and doesn’t have a boyfriend. While Aimee has dreams of a future, Sutter lives in the impressive delusion of a spectacular now, yet somehow, they’re drawn together.”

Not only does the synopsis make the movie sound incredibly appealing but the script was adapted by 500 Days of Summer’s Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. 500 Days of Summer proved to be a hit amongst both audiences and critics, and also received a bit of attention during awards season. The Spectacular Now made its own impressive debut at the Sundance Film Festival with an 82 out of 100 metascore from metacritic.

Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher may reprise their roles in the new Star Wars movie but Disney will still be adding a bunch of new characters. The casting process has already started and Disney is looking for at least 7 new “lead roles” in Star Wars Episode VII. 

Bleeding Cool uncovered a casting call for seven new characters for Star Wars Episode VII and Deadline confirmed that it was authentic. Casting directors, April Webster, Alyssa Weisberg and Nina Gold, sent the following notice out to agents.

• A young man aged between 20 and 25, witty and smart, fit but not classically handsome,
• Man in late twenties, also fit, but this one is handsome and confident.
• Late teenage girl, independent, good sense of humor, also… physically fit.
• Second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and physically fit.
• Man in his forties, obviously physically fit, this one is a military type.
• A man of around thirty or so, this one is an intellectual type.
• Finally, a guy aged around seventy, strong opinions and tough.

There aren’t any other details about the casting choices but Disney apparently wants its new characters to be physically fit. Well, except for the “intellectual” guy and the old guy with strong opinions.

Still, the new casting notice is bound to set the rumor mill into overdrive. But why wait? Here are some things that we can almost determine from the casting call.

1. The new movie will feature a strong female lead. All of the characters in the casting notice are considered “lead roles” but with two teenage girls it appears that Disney may focus the new movie on a female lead character.
2. Harrison Ford will not be involved with the new movie. Let’s hope that this movie isn’t true but a “guy aged around seventy, strong opinions and tough” sounds an awful lot like Harrison Ford. Is Disney looking for Han Duo?
3. Disney may cast a few unknown actors. J.J. Abrams has made a few stars in his day and Hayden Christensen was relatively unknown when he was cast as Anakin Skywalker.
4. The new movie will focus on Han, Luke and Leia as teenagers. That rumor is already out there and the casting notice may back it up.

As we reported earlier, Paula Deen’s racist comments made during a May 17 deposition and revealed this month have taken the web by storm — and now reps for the celeb chef have addressed the media firestorm.

The Inquisitr reported earlier on the Paula Deen racism claims, referring back to a National Enquirer story about a deposition given by Deen in an ongoing suit.

When asked if she’d used the n-word before, Deen replied “yes, of course,” before appearing to downplay the possibly offensive nature of race and religion based humor.

Deen is quoted as having said:

“It’s just what they are — they’re jokes … most jokes are about Jewish people, rednecks, black folks … I can’t determine what offends another person.”

Even more bizarrely, Paula Deen references a strange inspiration she recalls after being waited upon by black staff, and she reportedly says:

“I mean, it was really impressive. That restaurant represented a certain era in America … after the Civil War, during the Civil War, before the Civil War … It was not only black men, it was black women … I would say they were slaves.”

Paula Deen is no stranger to controversy, but after today’s racism claims, a rep for the Southern belle was forced to address the brewing brouhaha.

It appears that after Deen made the “yes, of course” statement, she followed up by saying that she was once robbed and may have used the word — nearly 30 years ago:

“Well, it was probably when a black man burst into the bank that I was working at and put a gun to my head … Things have changed since the ’60s in the South. And my children and my brother object to that word being used in any cruel or mean behavior. As well as I do.”

Bill Franklin, a lawyer for Paula Deen, said of the racist comment reports in a statement:

“Contrary to media reports. Ms. Deen does not condone or find the use of racial epithets acceptable. She is looking forward to her day in court.”

It came as a complete shock that up and coming star Shailene Woodley was completely cut out of the new Amazing Spider-Man 2 as Mary Jane. What’s more shocking? Not only is she being cut from the film, but it’s suggested that the role of Mary Jane Watson is being completely recast.

This comes as a complete shock because Woodley is a promising talent. The actress has already made an impressive mark on the film community opposite George Clooney in The Descendants, and is set to make her own franchise debut in Divergent.

Upon the news that she was being dropped from the film, director Marc Webb claimed that the choice was made due to “streamlining the story.” The question is, how large was the plot to begin with that they had to cut one of the most prominent characters out? It sounds fishy, right?

Marc Webb released a statement in regards to Woodley getting cut from the film, stating:

“I made a creative decision to streamline the story and focus on Peter and Gwen and their relationship. Shailene is an incredibly talented actress and while we only shot a few scenes with Mary Jane, we all love working with her.”

However, a new suggestive report from Bleeding Cool hints to watch Webb’s tenses and all will be revealed about the studio’s plans. It seems like Webb was just saving face, or being fed words by an unhappy studio, because it’s suggested that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has every intention in showing fans Mary Jane Watson.

It’s odd that an actress would be completely recast right in the middle of filming. Even when people were up and arms over Rachelle Lefevre being dropped from the Twilight series, she at least got to finish the role before being replaced in the sequel by Bryce Dallas Howard.

On the heels of the announcement, Shailene Woodley put out a statement to Entertainment Weekly:

“Of course I’m bummed. But I’m a firm believer in everything happening for a specific reason.”

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set for a theatrical release of May 2, 2014.

Brad Pitt revealed his son gets shot at one point during his upcoming horror flick World War Z.

The actor’s son Maddox, 11, reportedly plays a zombie in the film. Since Pitt’s character is trying to find a way to stop the undead from taking over the world, it’s no surprise his son meets a gruesome demise.

According to People, Brad Pitt’s kids absolutely adore scary movies.

“They love these kinds of things, and that’s the thing that first drew me to it,” the actor explained.

Maddox was apparently so excited about the project that he ended up landing a small role in World War Z. Brad Pitt said his son will play a zombie in the movie.

“He’s got a small piece in it. He’s a zombie who then gets shot. I don’t know what that says about my parenting!” Pitt told the publication.

Worst Previews reports Maddox had to shave his mohawk in order to play one of the undead in director Marc Forster’s adaptation of Max Brooks’ acclaimed novel. However, Pitt’s son apparently didn’t mind parting with his haircut.

Maddox isn’t the only Pitt-Jolie kid who is getting ready to make their first big screen appearance. Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 4, is slated to make her film debut in Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent. The movie is expected to bow in theaters next year.

After a long and troubled production, Forster’s World War Z will finally arrive in theaters this Friday (June 21). Pitt stars as a United Nations employee who finds himself running around the world in order to prevent a zombie apocalypse. Judging from the trailer, he’s really not that good at his job.

In addition to Pitt, the movie stars Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox, and David Morse. Plus a ton of people as zombies, of course.

Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly been getting cozy with her X-Men: Days of Future Past co-star Nicholas Hoult on set lately. The rumor has been deemed gossip worthy by the media because these two actually used to date.

Hoult (who plays Hank McCoy/Beast in the film) and Lawrence (Mystique) have reportedly been doing a bit more than joking around together on set lately. Us Weekly reports that these two may be rekindling their romance on the Montreal set of the upcoming X-Men epic.

The pair first met up on the set of X-Men: First Class and maintained a low-profile relationship for two years before splitting up in January. They’ve been catching up and spending a lot of downtime together lately, with some publications wondering if these two are bound to reconcile.

“They frequent each other’s trailers, and they always eat lunch together,” a tattler said. “It’s just a friendship now, though they’re getting a lot closer.”

The two joined other cast members James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender at the Canadian Formula One Grand Prix on June 8, where they posed for photographs together. Later that night, they attended an HBO boxing event together.

Just one week before, the couple were seen walking around Montreal with Lawrence’s brother. Weeks before that, they were spotted dining together in Los Angeles.

A curious piece missing from our knowledge of these two is why in the world they ever broke up in the first place. They seemed to break up amicably, with some theorizing that their distance and busy schedules forced them to call it quits. So the ingredients for a genuine reconciliation might yet be there.

“My boyfriend is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I’m his best friend, too,” Lawrence gushed of Hoult last year. “He’s my favorite person to be around, and he makes me laugh harder than anybody.”

Seems like that’s still true.

Daniel Radcliffe doesn’t think he’d make a very good James Bond. However, the young actor said he wouldn’t mind playing a villain in one of the Bond movies.

Fans of the Harry Potter alum tend to think Radcliffe is a dashingly handsome guy. However, the actor doesn’t think he has what it takes to play the world’s greatest spy.

“I am never going to be cast to play a Bruce Willis character in Die Hard,” Daniel Radcliffe recently told The Sun during a recent interview.

He added, “I would make a much better villain than Bond — I am not nearly strapping enough to play Bond.”

While Radcliffe has gone to great lengths to distance himself from the boy wizard who made him famous, he hasn’t had much of a chance to really explore his dark side on the big screen. However, that’s all about to change.

The actor can be seen next in director John Krokidas’ drama Kill Your Darlings, a film that is notably darker in tone than his previous work. The movie tells the story of three beat poets who come together after a murder in 1944.

Daniel Radcliffe will play the role of beat poet Allen Ginsberg in the flick. He will be joined by such familiar faces as David Cross, Elizabeth Olsen, Ben Foster, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jack Huston, and Dexter star Michael C. Hall. The film opens in select theaters in the US on October 18.

Director Alexandre Aja also cast Radcliffe in his upcoming horror flick Horns. The actor stars as a man who begins to grow strange horns out of his temples following the mysterious death of his girlfriend. Juno Temple, James Remar, and Max Minghella co-star.

If Daniel Radcliffe is serious about tackling a sinister role in an upcoming James Bond picture, then now the perfect opportunity for him to suit up. Director Sam Mendes and the suits at MGM are reportedly putting together the next installments right now.

It seems like we here at The Inquisitr have been covering the Fifty Shades of Grey film for years. Although its only been a few months or so, we have reported news on rumored leads from Kristen Stewart to Mila Kunis, as well as Ian Somerhalder launching an online campaign via Twitter for the role of Christian Grey.

As Universal looks to start production on the film, the talk of the leads died down, and a few reports began to spin out on who would ultimately direct the erotica novel turned screenplay. We first reported that it was looking more likely to be at the helm of Gus Van Sant (Good Will Hunting) as he was the top name that emerged after shooting a test with actor Alex Pettyfer for the lead.

Well, it’s not Gus Van Sant or Joe Wright. Instead Deadline has announced that director Sam Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy) will take on the task of taking something that has been described as “mommy porn” and making it watchable and appealing. This is an interesting choice, and we wonder just how Taylor-Johnson will handle taking on the direction of a highly scrutinized novel.

In the press release by Universal, producers Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti, who have been the only constant names in the production, released a statement about director Sam Taylor-Johnson signing on board:

“Sam’s unique ability to gracefully showcase complex relationships dealing with love, emotion and sexual chemistry make her the ideal director to bring Christian and Anastasia’s relationship to life,” said De Luca. “E L James’ characters and vivid storytelling require a director who is willing to take risks and push the envelope where needed and Sam is a natural fit.”

What does Sam Taylor-Johnson think of this news? The director, who’s married to Kick-Ass actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson said in a statement:

“For the legions of fans, I want to say that I will honor the power of Erika’s book and the characters of Christian and Anastasia. They are under my skin too.”

In response to the announcement of Sam Taylor-Johnson’s arrival to production, Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James tweeted her excitement:

I’m delighted & thrilled to let you guys know that Sam Taylor-Johnson has agreed to direct the film of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Universal Pictures acquired the rights to the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy back in March of 2012. Now that we have a director on board, it looks like we may finally see who will play the elusive Christian Grey.

James Franco has offered his own review for Man of Steel!

In a crossover of epic proportions, one of the main characters from the Spider-Man films with Tobey Maguire has given his own review on the latest DC Comics film Man of Steel. No, that wasn’t a hole in space and time ripping open.

James Franco says that he doesn’t mind the fact that Spider-Man got a reboot so quickly after the films he starred in were over with. He chalks it up to necessity and money. The studio has to make money on the film or it’s a flop. In the end, James Franco isn’t bitter about being in a set of films so quickly forgotten. Having been in a few comic book films himself, it allows him to understand the intricacies of making a film like Man of Steel.

Offering his opinion on the Superman reboot, James Franco said in Vice:

“Man of Steel is great because it delivers everything it should. It made Superman cool again. It delivered great action and interesting characters with a plot that was grounded enough to make us care a little. But, in the end, why did I really walk away liking it? It wasn’t because of the film’s message. Maybe I sound naïve going to a film like this for a message, but images and themes are being thrown at me in 3D, so I want to know what I’m swallowing. One of the main reasons I liked it was because in this film, Superman’s S symbol stands for ‘hope’ on the planet Krypton. Viewers discover that Superman is the symbol of hope for his dead race and simultaneously the symbol of hope for the human race.”

All in all, James Franco said that Man of Steel delivered a superhero film that not only makes us care about the character, but also delivers the thought that Superman is a symbol of hope for two worlds. It’s quite rare for a character to become a symbol such as that in a film full of 3D effects and big name actors.

Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp announced their break up in June of last year. However, the actor is just now breaking his silence about the relationship.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star recently opened up about his ex-girlfriend during a chat with the folks at Rolling Stone magazine. According to Depp, breaking up with Vanessa Paradis certainly wasn’t one of the easiest things he’s ever had to do in his life. He described the last few years as “bumpy.”

“At times, certainly unpleasant, but that’s the nature of breakups, I guess, especially when there are kiddies involved,” Depp explained to the magazine.

The 50-year-old actor said trying to maintain a relationship while working in Hollywood is extremely difficult. Unfortunately for Depp and Paradis, his career ultimately took a toll on them.

“It wasn’t easy on her. It wasn’t easy on me. It wasn’t easy on the kids. So, yeah. The trajectory of that relationship—you play it out until it goes, one thing leads to another,” he explained.

Depp continued, “So for whatever reason that ­ceases, it doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids, and you’ll always know each other, and you’re always gonna be in each other’s lives because of those kids. You might as well make the best of it.”

Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp had two children over the course of their relationship. Daughter Lily-Rose is 14 while son Jack is 11. Depp said his kids have been “incredibly understanding” and “incredibly strong” during their parents’ breakup.

“The thing is, kiddies come first. You can’t shield them, because then you’d be lying. So you can at least be honest with your kids, and you say the absolute truth to your child — that was very important to not pussyfoot around,” the actor explained.

Melissa Etheridge called out actress Angelina Jolie last week for a “fearful” and not “brave” decision to undergo a double mastectomy to avoid a high risk of breast cancer.

Cancer experts say Etheridge was way off the mark.

The singer caused controversy when she addressed Angelina Jolie’s recent admission that she elected to have a double mastectomy after doctors told her she had a high genetic risk of cancer. Etheridge, a breast cancer survivor herself, said she did not agree with those praising Jolie for the decision.

She told the Washington Blade that Jolie “made the most fearful choice you can make when confronting anything with cancer.” Etheridge went on to say that she believes cancer comes from inside the body and has more to do with the environment of the body than genetics.

Despite a backlash, this week Melissa Etheridge stood by her criticism.

“I don’t have any opinion of what she ‘should have’ done. All are free to choose. I only objected to the term ‘brave’ describing it,” Etheridge said in a statement to ABC News.

Experts disagree with Etheridge’s assertion that cancer is more a product of the environment than genetics, however.

“Is she saying it’s better to confront cancer? We don’t have clear prevention strategies for this type of cancer, we only have risk reducing strategies including mastectomy, oophorectomy and high risk surveillance,” said Andrea Geduld, the director of the Breast Health Resource Center at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

Geduld added that no one would criticize a person for wearing a seatbelt to prevent dying in a car accident, so they shouldn’t be criticized for having a double mastectomy to prevent cancer.

The situation was made a bit more awkward when Brad Pitt described Melissa Etheridge as “an old friend” after being asked about her comments. Angelina Jolie’s husband added that he’s sure he’ll talk to Etheridge on the phone at some point to address the issue.

It’s been some time that we have seen growth from comedian actor Adam Sandler. These days he’s been comfortable playing various degrees of old characters he’s played in the past. For a lack of a better term, we’ll call these “Sandlerisms.” They’re the same Sandlerisms that got Grown Ups 2 green lit but have critics furrowing their brow at his career trajectory over the last few years.

With the announcement that he would soon be joining his frequent co-star Drew Barrymore in a new comedy, we had hope that Sandler would stop being lazy and try something daring again. Perhaps this was a sign that Sandler would ditch the over-sized polo shirts and plaid shorts and try an actual character on for size? It looks likely.

In addition to his project with Barrymore, it’s been announced that Sandler will dive into an intense dark comedy with director Christopher Columbus. The Hollywood Reporter announced that the new Sandler vehicle is a remake of an Asian film called Hello Ghost. Sandler will be playing a character, who after failing to attempt suicide, begins seeing four ghosts who he must help to fulfill their wishes.

We have a feeling that this film is something to get excited about. Hello Ghost was the ninth highest grossing film in South Korea in 2010, and we all know how well foreign remakes do, specifically The Ring and The Grudge. Although we won’t be seeing Sandler in anything that resembles The Grudge, a comedy with a dark dramatic flair is a nice change of pace.

If anything, his last two films, Jack & Jill and That’s My Boy, have made people forget that, when given the right material, Adam Sandler is a great actor that can take on the task of creating a dark, sympathetic character. For a few years, his creative leaps were unstoppable with fantastic performance in Punch-Drunk Love, Reign Over Me, and Spanglish.

Universal has agreed to pick up the film, and it will most likely be a 2014 release.

Billy West doesn’t think Futurama is ending.

You’ve heard his voice probably a million times, but you most likely wouldn’t recognize him on the street. Billy West is one of those voice actors like Mel Blanc and Seth MacFarlane who has so many famous voices that sound nothing alike, you’d swear he was probably three people. You’ve heard his work in Ren and Stimpy as both title characters, and as Futurama‘s Philip J. Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Doctor Zoidberg, and Zapp Brannigan.

You can imagine Billy West is used to saying some pretty hilarious stuff with a straight face.

One thing, however, has been said with a straight face, and it wasn’t a joke. Billy West doesn’t think Futurama is ending. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Futurama was apparently canceled after the upcoming season, leading to probably thousands of upset fans.

Billy West said in an interview with The Week:

“On Comedy Central, maybe. But my feeling is that the show’s too good to not be on television, and there’s a whole lot of television out there. And then some — there’s the content that’s not even on TV. It’s on Netflix, stuff like that. I have a suspicion that somebody like that will pick up the show and continue production with it. I would feel terrible if that were the case, if this was just the end of it.”

A lot of us agree with Billy West that Futurama is just too good a show to cancel. It’s like canceling South Park. Why would anyone do that with a show that brings in so many laughs and so many loyal viewers after all this time?

Billy West feels that Futurama has had so many hidden ideas already implemented that it’s almost inexhaustible how many opportunities there are for future episodes. The pilot episode alone has had enough hidden storylines attached to it that aspects of it are still being used for new episodes after over a decade.

We can only hope that if Comedy Central actually has canceled Futurama, someone else will pick it up and keep the ball rolling.

Slim Whitman has died at the age of 90. The “yodeling” country legend was known for  his unique style and falsetto singing. Whitman reportedly suffered from heart failure.

Whitman was a native of Tampa, Florida. He enjoyed listening to music, and eventually learned how to sing and play guitar. Much of his early inspiration came from his hero Jimmie Rodgers “The Singing Brakeman.” While he enjoyed performing as a hobby, he did not make it a career until he finished his Navy tour at the end of World War II.

As explained by Hollywood Reporter, Whitman was formally discovered while he played with a band called Variety Rhythm Boys. Manager Tom Parker offered to represent Whitman, eventually landing him a  deal with RCA.

Slim Whitman’s first single was released in 1948. In 1952 he made the top ten charts with “Keep It A Secret,” and “Indian Love Call.” Whitman maintained a steady presence on the charts for the next three years.

In 1965 Whitman returned to the charts with “More Than Yesterday.” Over the next nine years he released 22 more singles and became famous worldwide.

As reported by CNN, Whitman enjoyed another career rebound in the 1980s when he appeared on television, marketing several different albums. In the late 1980′s Whitman focused primarily on promoting compilation albums, including “Best Loved favorites” and “20 Precious Memories.”

Most recently his work was featured in the 1996 movie “Mars Attacks.” His “Indian Love Call” caused bodily injury to aliens in the film.

Whitman became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1965. He was well known and continued to tour in the US and in Europe for decades.

Slim Whitman released his final album in 2010.

Surrounded by his loved ones, Slim Whitman died this morning. Alma, his wife of 67 years preceded him in death. He is survived by one son and one daughter.

Cher has made her return to our television screens after 10 years. Last night on NBC’s The Voice Season Four finale the music legend debuted her new single Woman’s World.

Her new album titled Closer to the Truth is due to come out this coming September.

The 67 year-old singer looked as extravagant as she has in the past with her fuschia spiked up hair. She worked the crowds which seemed to respond favorably as did the coaches. She is the ultimate performer.

Cher’s last TV performance was also broadcast on NBC, in the 2003 in the special Cher: The Farewell Tour, which attracted 17 million viewers.

Her last album Living Proof was released in 2001 and included the dance hits (This Is) A Song for the Lonely” and A Different Kind of Love Song.

Cher has been a strong female role model in the music industry. She is not only a singer, but an actress and dancer as well. She came to prominence in 1965 as part of the folk rock duo, Sonny and Cher. Sonny Bono and Cher ended up getting married, but later divorced.

As a guest of The Voice, she offered some advice to young artists in a Tuesday interview:

“You don’t deal with it. You just try to get a place where no one can find you and that’s your little sanctuary. I have a fabulous house that I love and it’s my sanctuary.”

Cher referred to reality TV singing competitions as “a modern incarnation of classic star-makers like The Ed Sullivan Show and Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts.

“It’s just another vehicle, you know what I mean? Talent is talent.” she said while answering questions on the red carpet following the finale which crowned 16-year-old country singer Danielle Bradbery the winner.

The singer said that her success is mostly due to luck and not necessarily talent. Cher stated that, “If you have an idea, you tell me because I haven’t got a clue.”

There was a lot of things to be excited about during The Voice finale. Specifically the performances, which included Nelly, Cher, and one particular home coming performance featuring Pitbull. That performer, is of course musician and old voice coach Christina Aguilera.

To the surprise of viewers at home, Aguilera had a lot more to show off than her signature pipes. Christina’s performance on The Voice with hit maker Pitbull revealed Aguilera’s sleek body transformation. This came as a huge shock as Aguilera hasn’t been seen much since she announced that she was leaving The Voice temporarily to focus on music. It also looks like she focused on her body too.

It hasn’t been an easy couple of years for Aguilera. Amidst poor reception on her last two albums, the songstress has also come under scrutiny for her weight gain during her coaching days on The Voice. Since her hiatus from the show  Aguilera has reportedly lost 20 pounds. According to a source, US Weekly claims that the singer wasn’t always confident about going against critics. Sources said to the magazine, “A lot of people were on her about her weight and it depressed her. She went through a bad time because of the criticism.”

For Aguilera weight has always been a struggle when the industry is concerned. The singer has been on both scales of the weight spectrum. She’s also been super skinny, which she had said was a product of being “over worked.”

However, the gossiping persisted, and some scrutinized Aguilera for having an “attitude” while judging, while others were taking to her fashion sense, as most of the clothes she wore on The Voice weren’t looked at as flattering to her new body. The weight gain was debated by gossip magazines and blogs so much that even Adam Levine came to her defense. While being interviewed by Ellen Degeneres the Maroon 5 singer, and The Voice judge said, “She should be left alone. No one should bother or haggle her about her weight or anything that she does or says.”

When Aguilera returned to the stage of The Voice for her rousing performance last night, it looked like she was at least being mindful of those critics and taking everyone up to task by debuting a bare midriff. While it is sad a woman’s healthy weight gain has garnered so much attention, it’s good to see Aguilera taking things in stride.

If you ask us she looks great either way, and still has the pipes to back up that talent.

Christina Aguilera Shows Off Dramatic Weight Loss During ‘The Voice’ Performance is a post from: The Inquisitr

Lil Wayne recently apologized for stomping on the American flag. However, some people clearly aren’t ready or willing to forgive the rapper.

The controversy began when images of Lil Wayne walking across the American flag appeared online. The incident took place at a music video shoot in Louisiana over the weekend.

In the video, an American flag can be seen falling down behind Lil Wayne during his performance. He then walks back and forth across the flag, a fact which didn’t settle very well with many people.

According to the Contra Costa Times, Lil Wayne said he didn’t intend to walk on the flag during his concert.

The rapper explained:

“It was never my intention to desecrate the flag of the United States of America. I was shooting a video for a song off my album entitled ‘God Bless Amerika.’ The clip that surfaced on the Internet was a camera trick clip that revealed that behind the American Flag was the Hoods of America. In the final edit of the video you will see the flag fall to reveal what is behind it but will never see it on the ground.”

Even if Lil Wayne didn’t mean to walk across the American flag during his video shoot, Starpulse points out the rapper is still in violation of the US Flag Code. The law states the flag can never be allowed to touch the ground or disrespected in any way.

Despite his apology, some people are convinced Lil Wayne did this on purpose. Many of them have expressed their thoughts and feelings about the rapper on Twitter. Here’s a sampling of their reactions.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 won’t have Mary Jane after all!

The second film in Marc Webb’s reboot of the Spider-Man franchise is apparently giving Peter Parker some time to mourn. This is considering, of course, that the rumors are true over recent set photos of Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) in a certain outfit. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, set photos of Peter Parker’s (Andrew Garfield) love interest from The Amazing Spider-Man show her in an outfit that mirrors that of the comics where she dies.

Of course, that plot point is just rumor, but there seem to be a lot of facts surrounding it.

For instance, Norman Osborne (Chris Cooper) is being planned to be in the film, and he’s the Green Goblin’s alter ego. The Green Goblin is the one in the comics who killed off Gwen Stacy, paving the way for Mary Jane Watson after a while.

The actress chosen to play the part of Mary Jane, Shailene Woodley, has stated, “Of course I’m bummed. But I am a firm believer in everything happening for a specific reason. … Based on the proposed plot, I completely understand the need for holding off on introducing [Mary Jane] until the next film.”

If Mary Jane is being postponed for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, it’s possible that the director just wants to give our hero some time to grieve for the loss of Gwen Stacy. If Gwen Stacy is killed off too early, it would mean they didn’t give the second villain enough time to be built up before making him notorious. If she’s killed off toward the end, Mary Jane would be seen as a shoehorned character that would have been better off postponed, much like Venom in Spider-Man 3.  It could also mean that the footage of the two actresses meeting might be left on the cutting floor to make room for continuity in the sequel.

And that’s what’s happening.  Mary Jane’s appearance in the series is being postponed.  Whether it’s a dead giveaway or an effort to use the press to conceal what really happens, the truth is still unknown.

Ivanka Trump has received plenty of praise this week for her comments on being a good parent. The daughter of billionaire Donald trump has a 23-month-old daughter of her own with a second child with husband Jared Kushner on the way.

The 31-year-old isn’t your average mother as she’s spent most of her life in the spotlight, but that hasn’t stopped her from teaching her daughter Arabella correct manners.

“Arabella isn’t even 2, so she hasn’t thrown me the challenges of a teenager … but I have a feeling I’m going to be pretty strict,” Trump told US Weekly about her daughter. “My mother laid down pretty concrete guidelines and the concept of ‘because I said so’ was a totally viable option.”

With her busy schedule and commitments, Trump’s parenting strategies have become an instant hit with fellow mothers around the world as she works to “desperately” teach her child the correct manners with a second baby coming this fall.

One thing’s for sure, Ivanka Trump has no plans of spoiling Arabella, though she’s also learning how to be a better parent herself.

“The one thing I won’t tolerate is her being spoiled or bratty or having poor manners,” she added. “That’s one area [in which] I’ll be very strict.”

Baby steps are usually the best way to go, and Trump has already begun to make strides with Arabella as she’s soon to become the big sister.

“We’re navigating the sharing thing right now,” Trump said in the interview. “I think we’re, like, 70 percent of the way there.”

Celebrities are regularly singled out for their odd behavior or mishaps in daily life, but Donald Trump’s daughter has officially proved she has her father’s strict nature and a respect for parenting that has found plenty of support from parents all over the nation.

After Kanye West’s interview with The New York Times came out, it didn’t look like West was on any conventional route when it came to promoting his album. Up until then, Kanye hadn’t done any interviews, and didn’t push any single off of the Yeezus album to support the upcoming release.

Not it’s being said that Kanye West will actively tour in support of the Yeezus album despite the fact that he just had a baby with Kim Kardashian, and that he seems to not give a hoot how the album is received.

This bit of news was revealed by Yeezus’ co-producer, Mike Dean, during a Reddit chat while answering questions from fans. West, who skipped touring for 2010′s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is reportedly hitting the road for Yeezus.

Although Mike Dean didn’t release any dates for the upcoming tour, or the name of the tour (we’re thinking it’s just going to be plain old Yeezus), he did mention that he will be performing with Kanye. Previously to the new tour, Dean performed with Kanye at Coachella and Governors Ball as he played keyboard and guitar.

As for the most anticipated song to be heard live off of the new Yeezus album? According to Mike Dean it’s “Hold My Liquor”, which we could actually see as concert goers usually know how to have a wild and good time with one overpriced drink in hand. “Hold My Liquor” is also one of the most dynamic songs off of the new album as West is joined by Bon Iver on the track.

This of course won’t be the first time West performs tracks off of the Yeezus album, but it will be the first time he performs a bunch in bulk in what we hope is a full set-list from the rapper.

Sandra Bullock once again turned down the role of Miss Hannigan in the upcoming Annie remake.

Although the folks at Sony Pictures tried their best to get the award-winning actress on-board for the project, she ultimately decided against tackling the iconic role.

The Wrap reports negotiations have fallen through for a second time. However, it’s unclear why Sandra Bullock ultimately decided against taking part in the Annie remake. Producers are now forced to find someone else to play the part of Miss Hannigan.

The Blind Side star turned down the chance to play the character earlier this year. Despite her decision to pass on the project, Bullock was approached by the studio again earlier this month.

According to The Huffington Post, Sony Pictures hopes to have production going at some point this fall. It’s unclear if Bullock’s decision to pass on the project will affect the studio’s timetable.

Sony has already tapped Beasts of the Southern Wild star Quvenzhane Wallis for the lead role in the project. Django Unchained alum Jamie Foxx will reportedly portray a Daddy Warbucks-style character in the flick. Will Smith and Jay-Z will serve as producers while Will Gluck will direct.

Unless Bullock’s decision to pass on the project throws a monkey wrench into their game plan, Sony hopes to have the movie finished and on the big screen by Christmas of 2014. However, it’s being reported the studio is currently eyeing other comic actresses for the role of Miss Hannigan.

Sandra Bullock can be seen next in the upcoming buddy cop flick The Heat with Melissa McCarthy. The film will attempt to serve up some laughs on June 28. The actress will also appear alongside George Clooney in Children of Men director Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity.

If you aren’t looking too closely than you might be missing Michael Cera taking over internet streaming. Earlier he reprised his role as George-Michael Bluth on the continuation of the Arrested Development series for Netflix. Now he’s taking Youtube by storm for his latest project that see the actor branching out.

Cera has joined a Youtube collective of sorts known as JASH. The collaboration sees partners Sarah Silverman, Michael Sera, Tim & Eric, and Reggie Watts all working together to produce funny digital content.

This specific four-minute short titled Failure sees Michael Cera opposite Aubrey Plaza, and puts him back into the romantic comedy realm. The difference is that Cera himself has directed this short.

Failure is a story about a young man (Michael Cera) who stumbles upon a young woman (Aubrey Plaza), who is occupying the steps in his home. Right away you get a sense that she wasn’t invited, and at first she isn’t welcomed either. There’s something incredibly creepy about the whole tone of the short, as if we’re waiting for something disturbing to happen. It’s an unsettling situation to see Cera make hesitant eyes at a very forward Plaza. Throughout the whole short something is threatening and bubbling just beneath the surface, whether it’s a romantic situation or a physical altercation. In the end nothing ever really happens.

That said it’s still a quirky little piece to check out, and it’s nice to see Cera without his “awe shucks” face on. This is another departure for Cera. Last Wednesday Michael Cera is seen playing the most outrageous version of himself in This Is The End. What’s noted as the most surprising cameo, Cera is a coked out version of himself that would like nothing more than to have raunchy sex with all the women in James Franco’s house party. Is this a sign of better things to come from Michael Cera? We’ll see.

As for JASH a press release revealed the production company’s plan of action for their new platform. JASH which is a comedy production company owned by Daniel Kellison, Doug DeLuca and Mickey Meyer released a statement:

“JASH gives comedians and artists a platform to create and control their own digital content and fully share in the revenues. All collaborating partners are given complete autonomy to make short films, sketches, series, one-offs, talk-shows, animation and music videos.”

Hunter Hays has had an exciting week this week, what with dropping his new album, Encore, and performing a two-hour set at Webster Hall as part of MTV’s Artist to Watch LIVE series

According to MTV Fans lined up around the block and wore their “I Love Hunter” T-shirts for the “I Want Crazy” singer as he prepared for his set for the Artists to Watch LIVE series.

Hayes started off with four acoustic songs, including “Somebody’s Heartbreak,” to screaming fans in the smaller studio part of the New York City venue before returning for his headlining set in the main ballroom.

The singer stated in regards to Encore, “I just felt like I wasn’t done with this chapter. It’s special to celebrate with a show.”

At 21, he already has a Platinum-selling record and three Grammy nominations under his belt.

Hayes has already announced his fall headlining tour dates, and he couldn’t be more excited about it.

According to USA Today,

“The fall is going to be a production, a show, an experience based on years of my dreaming about it. It’s kind of like my first record — you have your entire life to make your first record, I’ve had my entire life to plan for this tour.”

Hayes is working hard and it’s showing! He had been nominated for several awards at this year’s American Country Music ceremony, and even though he didn’t walk away with anything, he still stirred up the crowed, even Taylor Swift!

Fans of the country star are just as excited as Hayes is for the upcoming festivities. For all the love they give him, he makes sure to share his love for his fans too!

In between songs at Webster Hall, Hayes always made sure to reply to the hordes of girls yelling, “I love you Hunter!” by saying, “Well, I love you too!”

Everyone’s lovable ginger cat, Garfield, is celebrating his 35th birthday today. The lasagne loving grump that made no apologises for his hate of Monday’s made his first ever appearance exactly 35 years ago in 1978, with a spot in 41 newspapers.

The familiar ginger tabby, that has undoubtedly caused numerous cat owners around the world to name their new family pets after him, was first created by Jim Davis after an editor alleged told him that his comic strip, Gnorm Gnat, was brilliant apart from the bugs.

This then seems to have led the cartoonist to settle for a feline character to try and steal the comic strip limelight. According to an interview with Davis, he claimed he decided to create a main cat character after noticing that the majority of animal comic strip figures around that time were dogs.

Whether that’s a true depiction of events or a simplified version we’ll never really know, however, whatever the reason for changing his subject matter from bugs to a fat cuddly cat, it worked.

This love for the grumpy pussycat has steadily helped Garfield become one of the most syndicated comics in the world, with a staggering total of 2,500 publications.

This wide acclaim has left Davis with a brand that is nearly worth £1 billion, which definitely isn’t a sum of a money to be sniffed at.

In addition to this success, and the continuation of the ginger cat making appearances in Jim Davis’s comic, Garfield has also become a well-known TV and feature-film star. Needless to say, whatever form the cuddly pussycat takes, the opinionated puss looks set to be around for many more years.

It only seems five minutes ago that Davis was drawing a special birthday strip in celebration of Garfield’s 30th birthday, yet here we all are five years down the line and celebrating another landmark stage in his career. No doubt when this comic strip reaches its 70th anniversary, Google will celebrate with Garfield and have an interactive homepage.

The video for the Miley Cyrus track “We Can’t Stop” is now available online for all to enjoy.

The clip for the song is seriously trippy, especially for Cyrus. Not only are viewers treated to numerous shots of the singer’s backside, they’re also subjected to giant dancing teddy bears, a dude eating a money sandwich, and some guy laying on a mountain of white bread. I think there may have even been a skull made out of french fries. I swear I’m not making this stuff up.

The video for “We Can’t Stop” is sure to please those who enjoy watching Miley Cyrus goof around while wearing next to nothing. When the singer does manage to find some clothes, she frequently pulls at the outfit in a suggestive manner that would make Hannah Montana turn bright red.

Where did Cyrus come up with all of this stuff, you ask? According to producer Mike Will Made It, the singer came up with the idea for the music video after attending what can only be described as an extremely wild party.

The producer told MTV News:

When she heard this song, what made her connect to this song is it reminded her of a specific party, a specific party where she was at. She’s saying real stuff. It’s all real. So it’s not like her trying to force anything or anything like that. It’s like speaking from experience. It’s like a point-of-view record.

Chances are these parties are simply too cool for most of us, so we’ll just have to live vicariously through the “We Can’t Stop” music video. Maybe that’s why she constantly sticks out her tongue at the viewer during the clip. She’s living it up, and you’re just watching everything unfold at home.

Miley Cyrus Debuts ‘We Can’t Stop’ Music Video is a post from: The Inquisitr

Mac Miller heard all the criticism after his first album, Blue Slide Park.

The 19-year-old from Pittsburgh was dismissed as frat rapper, an emcee with rhymes that were sometimes clever but often cheesy. But instead of running from these critiques on his sophomore album, Watching Movies With the Sound Off, Mac Miller decided to take them head on.

In fact, the album opens with a track taking on his flaws and the criticism he found after the first album.

“Can’t decide if you like all the fame/Three years ago to now it’s just not the same/I’m looking out the window ashing on the pane I wonder if I lost my way,” raps Miller on the album’s first track, “The Star Room.”

Mac Miller was equally bold in when he dropped the album. Released Tuesday, Watching Movies With the Sound off came out the same day as Kanye’s sixth album, Yeezus. J. Cole also released his album Born Sinner the same day.

“I wanted to run at first, but then I was like, nah, I’m not gonna run, I’m gonna hold my ground and drop this album the same day,” Miller told Fuse TV earlier this month. “This is an omen, there’s a reason that this is happening.”

Critics have applauded Miller in his sophomore album, noting that he’s grown as an artist. Andrew Gretchko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette writes:
“This is no Yeezus -– it’s also no 18-year-old Miller’s K.I.D.S. -- but Miller’s sophomore album shows the kind of creativity in both his lyrics and their delivery that we’ve come to expect from the 21-year-old Pittsburgher. For Miller, it’s just another step in the right direction.”

MTV reviewer Philip Mlynar, who once compared Mac Miller’s first album to something the cast of Glee might have put together, admits there is an entirely new artist on Watching Movies With the Sound Off.

“Whereas Blue Slide Park was embossed with a poppy and playful sheen, Watching Movies is strewn with static and distortion,” Mlynar writes. “It opens with a wave of slow-building scuzzy atmospheric effects which morph into the song ‘The Star Room.’ Mac talks about living inside his head, dwelling in purgatory, and dealing with demons.”

Another sign of the artistic growth of Mac Miller — he even produced a few of the tracks on the album, under his alter-ego Larry Fisherman.

The Chris Brown graffiti debacle continues to stay in the celebrity news spotlight after the singer has hit out at the L.A. City government after their claims that his ‘colorful monster’ artwork needed to be removed.

This won’t be the first time in recent news that the celebrity has caused a media frenzy – it was only two days ago that the star apparently crossed another line by featuring a Aaliyah hologram in his music video.

The spray paintings of toothy monsters that Brown has decided to cover his curbside walls with have had neighbors deeply offended, with some even claiming that the grammy winner’s ‘sharp-toothed ‘ artwork scares their children.

The graffiti has caused that much of a public stir of late that president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association has spoken out about it:

“There are lots of babies, lots of children, and they’re literally frightened. It’s like devils on the wall – big scary eyes and big scary teeth, and just the whole vibe is not what we’re used to,”

However, despite all the complaints the mural has generated, the singer has decided that his artwork on the front of his Hollywood Hills home isn’t ‘unpermitted’, and furthermore, that government can’t demand he removes the images because it’s protected by the First Amendment.

According to TMZ, who have apparently managed to acquire legal documents from the case, Brown is trying to defend the claims made against him that he painted the sign illegally, by stating that his art enhances the aesthetics of the residential property. This, to the majority of people, will translate as a fancy way of telling the authorities to stick their opinions.

Luckily Brown has lawyers on hand to help with his wording because, if his emotional tweets from earlier this month are anything to go by, the singer isn’t one to keep his feeling bottle up or sugar-coated.

So for now the Chris Brown graffiti case remains with the Dept. of Building and Safety, however, if they should rule against him then the star might need to move his appeals higher up the authorities and fight his corner at the L.A. County Superior Court. Though it would seem unlikely that either Brown or the government would want the situation to get to that point.

Therefore, until the images are removed, or the L.A. City authorities back down, it would appear that the Chris Brown graffiti is here to stay for a little while longer.

Chris Brown Graffiti Protected By First Amendment, Claims The Singer is a post from: The Inquisitr

Michael Bay’s Transformers 4 will destroy several iconic Chinese landmarks.

A significant portion of the upcoming sequel is being filmed in China thanks to a co-financing deal with a handful of production companies. Moviegoers can expect to see several popular landmarks completely destroyed over the course of the cinematic adventure.

According to Coming Soon, Michael Bay recently entered into an agreement with Chinese hotel company Beijing Pangu. The popular Pangu Plaza will be featured in the upcoming sequel in exchange for a little cash. It will also be blown to smithereens on the big screen.

China.org.cn reports the Pangu Plaza isn’t the only landmark Michael Bay wants to destroy. The director also wants to feature both the National Stadium and the Beijing National Aquatic Center in Transformers 4. The website states the movie’s giant robots will be fighting in, around, and on top of these structures.

The agreement was recently made at this year’s Shanghai International Film Festival. Paramount Pictures, Jiaflix Enterprises, and Beijing Pangu Investment representatives were reportedly on-hand to announce the arrangement. Michael Bay will begin shooting scenes in China at some point this October.

In addition to blowing up a few of the country’s landmarks, Bay and company are also in the market for a handful of Chinese actors. An online contest is currently underway to find a few extras. According to the Los Angeles Times, the roles currently up for grabs include “tech geek,” “sexy goddess,” “cute girl,” and “action guy.”

As China’s film market continues to grow, Hollywood studios are making sure their movies make it into theaters by offering the country exclusive content. Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 had footage not found in the domestic release, though reports suggest fans of the flick really weren’t missing too much.

Transformers 4 is currently slated to hit theaters on June 27, 2014. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, and T.J. Miller.

John Mayer’s new video for “Paper Dolls” is all about prancercise and Taylor Swift.

Well, maybe about Taylor Swift.

The new video features Johanna Rohrback, the woman who invented the new exercise craze (craze may not be the best word since Rohrback seems to be one of the only people to actually do it) as she dances her way down the street to the sound of Mayer’s new song.

Mayer says that Rohrback is doing “Advanced Prancercise” in the video but the fitness guru denies this claim.

Rohrback writes: “They introduce it as Advanced Prancercise which I assure you it’s not..however, they just probably wanted to differentiate it from my real program..I really enjoyed doing it and applaud John for being unique in this presentation..not just another Hollywood cookie cutter version!”

Rohrback may love John Mayer’s “Paper Dolls” but there’s one person who probably doesn’t appreciate his new song: Taylor Swift.

Many people are speculating that “Paper Dolls” is a Swift diss. Taylor famously wrote about her ex-boyfriend in the song “Dear John” and Mayer recently said that he was absolutely humiliated by it.

Could this be Mayer’s revenge on Swift?

According to MTV, there are several clues that the song is about Taylor Swift.

During the chorus, Mayer sings: “You’re like 22 girls in one/and none of them know what they’re running from.”

This could be a two part reference to Swift. The singer released the song “22″ as a single earlier this year and on the song ‘Dear John” she talks about how she regrets not listening to people who told her to run away.

The line “Someone’s gonna paint you another sky” also seems to reference to a Taylor Swift song. In “Dear John” she sings: “You paint me a blue sky and go back and turn it to rain.”

But John Mayer doesn’t seem to harbor any ill-will toward his former girlfriend. After all, Mayer sings: “Here’s a dress of gold and blue/Sure was fun being good to you.”

If you’re Channing Tatum then you may be having the best two years of your life. Tatum, who recently introduced his newborn daughter, is now pegged to produce a new TV sitcom, solidifying that he is not just a disposable pretty face in Hollywood.

Deadline is reporting that Tatum is currently looking to produce a TV sitcom, which sees good friend Nick Zano. Tatum took to his Facebook to announce the news to his fans:

“We’ve spent many nights laughing our asses off with our pal Nick Zano and his tales of being raised in a multi-generational house of 7 women in New Jersey. And now we’re so proud to announce that we’re bringing those stories to your home! Look out for NICKY, a new sitcom from Warner Bros. TV, starring Nick and produced by us, next year!”

Tatum and friend Reid Carolin have teamed up to produce the TV sitcom known as Nicky. The plot is said to be based on Nick Zano’s own experiences being raised by seven women in New Jersey, which means the actor starring in the sitcom could be a nice fit.

According to Deadline, Channing Tatum was looking to bring Nick Zano’s stories to life for a long time but couldn’t because of his busy schedule with stints on the now defunct Happy Endings and the CBS show 2 Broke Girls.

Tatum has been through a successful two years in the industry. Tatum has had one of the highest box office cumulative of any leading man this year with Magic Mike, 21 Jump Street, and The Vow all doing incredibly well. Currently he’s hitting the ground running with the brother and sister directing team of the Wachowskis for a sci fi action film. Up next for Tatum is an action blockbuster White House Down, which has a theatrical release of June 28. 

If anything Tatum’s interest in producing proves to be a smart move. While some actors fall on their sudden skyrocket to fame, this business move seems strategical, and just what Tatum needs to promote longevity in the business.

The Bajan queen’s new reign was ushered in some time on Tuesday morning (June 18).

The stats are these: The 77 videos on the “Diamonds” singer’s official VEVO channel have notched up 3,784 billion views (plus) in total.

Bieber, previously dominating with the most YouTube views, has 3,782 bilion views (plus) over a total of 79 videos on his official VEVO channel,

The difference between the two megastars is approximately two million views, making Rihanna the most viewed artist on YouTube.

Billboard notes Rihanna’s soared past Bieber’s largely because of her bigger subscriber figures.

The 25-year-old has 8.73 million subscribers on the video-sharing site, which is 3.7 million more than Bieber’s 4.9 million.

In real terms this means ‘Beliebers’ worked harder to get the “Boyfriend” singer his still impressive stats and may mean a coup could soon be in the offing.

However, Rihanna has a much wider reach as an artist and accordingly has more views on her channel.

Over on Facebook Rihanna also trounced Bieber. She has 72.3 million “likes” compared to the Canadian’s 54.3 million “likes” on the platform.

But lets not forget where Bieber is supreme. The 19-year-old stands astride Twitter with over 40 million followers, a first for him and the social media network. The teen heartthob took Lady Gaga’s Twitter crown in January and hasn’t looked back since.

Next on the pecking order for music artists on YouTube is south Korean rapper PSY with 3.1 billion  views, followed by Eminem with 2.4 billion views, Lady Gaga with 2.25 billion views and Shakira at 2 billion.

But if you thought Rihanna’s YouTube might have put her in a good mood, think again.

The pop-R&B star was caught on camera appearing to hit a fan in the face with her microphone when the fan grabbed her arm during a walkabout at her concert in Birmingham, England.

Some of the singers’ fans have since reacted angrily to the incident and compared RiRi’s conduct to Beyonce’s more measured approach when a male fan tapped her posterior at a recent show.

However, there may have been slight mitigation for Rihanna’s behavior. A witness to the incident wrote on Twitter: “[Rihanna] just hit someone with her mic on accident haha oops.”

To which Rihanna replied: “Purpose! That b_h won’t let me go.”

Russell Brand’s MSNBC beat-down yesterday could have reflected poorly on the British stand-up and actor, but it seems public opinion overwhelmingly suggests Brand’s incensed retorts enamored viewers to him rather than turned them off.

Yesterday, Russell Brand‘s MSNBC spat went viral, and the star not only chided hosts Mika Brzezinski, Katty Kay and Brian Shactman, but managed to get the better of them in their own clubhouse.

Russell Brand’s MSNBC Morning Joe appearance was an attempt to plug his imminent tour, Messiah Complex, but Brand was displeased when the smug talking heads began to mock him. (As anyone would be, we imagine.)

Brand managed some polite tolerance of the poor treatment — in which Kay, Shactman, and Brzezinski made veiled insults and spoke of him like he wasn’t there — for about five minutes, before Kay joked he was mentally ill.

Still, Brand was polite, replying:

“I hope I’m here as a fully qualified professional gentleman, free from mental illness.”

Kay then asked if they could have a cheeky 30-second preview of his act for free, to which Brand responded, “Not really, love.”

Finally, Russell lost it when the MSNBC hosts persisted in being snide, and snapped:

“You’re talking about me as if I’m not here, and as if I’m an extra-terrestrial. You know I’m from a country that’s near to you? … You shouldn’t say ‘he’ when a person is present. You should refer to that person by their name. That’s basic good manners.”

Brand wasn’t keen on de-escalating, and hopped on Brzezinski and her beverage bottle, joking:

“What do you think that gesture means, the way you’re touching that bottle? What’s the subtext of that? You need to lose that ring Mika, ’cause it don’t mean nothing to you. She’s grasping for the shaft. She’s a shaft grasper.”

PennLive observed:

“The show’s hosts, however, apparently unfamiliar with concepts like common courtesy and being polite to your guests, make fun of Brand’s outfit and talk about him in the third person, as though he wasn’t in the room with them. Brand, who apparently does not suffer fools lightly, starts eviscerating the show’s hosts in spectacular fashion.”

Mediaite added:

“Regardless of anyone’s opinion about Brand, the whole thing was not flattering for the MoJoe panel.”

On Yeezus, Kanye West’s Parkinson’s disease reference has drawn the ire of groups that advocate for sufferers of the condition — and detractors say the lyric in question is beyond offensive.

The Kanye West Parkinson’s lyric is one of a bunch on Yeezus making waves, and the oft-controversial rapper and new dad is in typical Kanyeezy form when he flows:

“I am a God … Hurry up with my damn croissants!”

Okay, well we can all relate to that emotion. West also raps:

“When I park my Range Rover … Slightly scratched your Corolla … Okay, I smashed your Corolla.”

But it’s Kanye West’s Parkinson’s lyric that caused the rapper some grief, as in the song ”On Sight,” Yeezy raps:

“A monster about to come alive again, soon as I pull up and park the Benz, we get this bitch shaking like Parkinson’s.”

TMZ broke the story about Kanye West’s Parkinson’s controversy, speaking with one advocacy group about the lyric’s impact and potential offense to those suffering the disease.

The site reports:

“Now, TMZ has learned the American Parkinson Disease Association is upset about the lyric — with the org.’s VP Kathryn Whitford telling us, ‘We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance.’ ”

While Kanye West’s Parkinson’s reference offended some, others felt that the verse was being subject to oversensitivity — and fans tweeted support for ‘Ye as Yeezus is received:

Selma Blair has officially bid farewell to the FX sitcom Anger Management.

Word of the actress’ departure from the program comes days after she got into a feud with Charlie Sheen. The tension between the two stars came to a head when Sheen refused to return to the set.

According to The Wrap, Selma Blair has officially left Anger Management. However, details about her exit are few and far between at the moment. Even the official statement from the folks at Lionsgate doesn’t give any insight into the actress’ departure.

“We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to ‘Anger Management’ and we wish her the very best,” the studio said in a statement.

Reports surfaced on TMZ Monday that Blair went to the top brass at FX to complain about Charlie Sheen. According to her, the former Two and a Half Men star was simply impossible to work with on the show. Not surprisingly, news of her complaints apparently didn’t settle too well with Sheen.

Fox News explains Sheen gave the network an ultimatum: Either they fire Selma Blair or he wouldn’t return to the set. Since he’s easily the show’s major draw, it would appear the actress has been cut loose. However, it’s unclear if Blair quit or was forced out of the comedy.

Neither Selma Blair nor her representatives have commented on her departure from the series as of this writing. It’s also unknown how the writers will explain her character’s absence on Anger Management.

TMZ is also reporting that Sheen is interested in getting Mila Kunis on-board for a 10-episode arc at some point in the near future. Since her rumored boyfriend Ashton Kutcher is currently headlining Sheen’s old show, it will be interesting to see how this particular report plays out.

Terminator 2 actor Edward Furlong just can’t stay out of trouble. Multiple publications are reporting that the troubled 35-year-old actor has been charged with assaulting his girlfriend in Los Angeles.

Furlong pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court over the alleged assault of his girlfriend. He also reportedly threatened her should she choose to call the police.

The actor most recently appeared in The Green Hornet in a minor role, but it was his portrayal of John Connor in the 1992 film Terminator 2 that he is best known for.

Furlong was being held on $100,000 bail for this, his latest in a long list of troubles with the law.

The actor was already facing two misdemeanor battery charges and was under a restraining order when he decided to go to his girlfriend’s West Hollywood home on May 21 and allegedly assaulted her.

He also reportedly damaged a laptop and photo gear, according to the L.A. District Attorney’s Office.

Now that he’s charged with three felonies and a misdemeanor, Furlong could end up behind bars for four years. A preliminary hearing is set for July 1.

Furlong’s troubled personal life has included numerous instances of substance abuse, run-ins with the law, and several domestic violence claims. His legal troubles have often taken a toll on his career, as he has lost a number of roles due to his behavior.

He admitted in 2001 to feeling depressed and suicidal over his drug addiction, and in 2006 talked about his struggles to stay clean:

“I don’t even think about [partying] anymore. It seems lonely now: running and clubbing and doing coke. I have nightmares about doing hard drugs. I’ll wake up and I’m like, ‘Did I relapse?’”

Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Billionaire tycoon Donald Trump, seems to know what she’s doing when it comes to parenting.

In an interview with US Weekly, Ivanka Trump, 31, said she knew she would be strict mother to her 23-month-old daughter Arabella. Trump is already expecting her second baby in the fall.

Ivanka Trump is worth a cool $150 million but said she doesn’t want to let that, or the fact her that her father Donald is worth over $3.2 billion, allow her children to be spoiled or bratty:

“The one thing I won’t tolerate is her being spoiled or bratty or having poor manners. That’s one area I’ll be very strict.” Ivanka continues jokingly: ”She’s (Arabella) really good at telling me I have to share with her. She’s less good about actually sharing back.”

In the interview, she continues to talk about how she bonds with her daughter when dressing up together: ”She makes me put my heels on her and she can walk in them!”

Ivanka then discusses her mother, Ivana Trump, saying: “My mother laid down pretty concrete guidelines and the concept of ‘because I said so’ was a totally viable option.”

Ivanka Trump suggests that she wishes to continue in the footsteps of her mothers parenting: ”Arabella isn’t even 2, so she hasn’t thrown me the challenges of a teenager . . . but I have a feeling I’m going to be pretty strict.”

In a recent tweet on Trump’s Twitter feed, she said:  ”Just arrived in Rome. Arabella overheard someone say “pronto” & has been saying it repeatedly (accompanied by a grand hand gesture) since!”

Armie Hammer’s stock is rising fast with the upcoming Lone Ranger and rumors that he’ll inherit the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman for a franchise reboot and/or a Justice League film. But will the 26-year-old heartthrob add the lucrative role of Christian Grey to his resume?

In an interview with Playboy, Hammer talks about the rumors suggesting that he’s the frontrunner for the lead role in the Fifty Shades of Grey film, and even talks a but about his sex life with wife Elizabeth Chambers.

First thing’s first: Is Armie Hammer really being considered for Fifty Shades of Grey?

“No one actually offered me the movie, but while I was working on Lone Ranger my agent brought it up, and I said ‘Nope.’ I mean, come on it’s just mommy porn,” Hammer said. “I’m not going to sit on top of the laundry machine in spin cycle reading about putting a ball gag in someone’s mouth. That doesn’t do it for me.”

So there might be some truth to the rumor, but Hammer doesn’t seem interested. Further, when talking about his sex life, Hammer seemed to imply that there wouldn’t be much to pull from his private life for a portrayal of Christian Grey anyway.

“The two us will literally break out laughing in the middle of it, finish up and be like, ‘Well, that was oddly fun!’ So it becomes a new kind of thing that’s less about ‘I want to dominate you’ and more about both of us having a really good time. It’s just a different style.”

While he did confess to being a “dominant lover” in his single years, he says that marrying his journalist and actress wife Chambers in 2010 softened him a little, but for the better.

“You get married and your sexual appetites change. And I mean that for the better it’s not like I’m suffering in any way. But you can’t really pull your wife’s hair. It gets to a point where you say, ‘I respect you too much to do these things that I kind of want to do.’”

Henry Cavill is hot, literally. And we’re not only talking about how well his new film Man of Steel is performing at the box office. The movie is the biggest June opening ever for Warner Bros.

If you have seen the Zack Snyder movie you know how hot he really is. One of the most attractive men in movies right now and in incredible shape for this role. That suit is filled out with all Henry, no padding was required.

In the movie we see him going through some impressive sequences fighting off his nemesis, General Zod (Michael Shannon). It is undeniable that Henry’s body is perfect for the role of Superman. Beautiful is a common description.

But the British actor doesn’t call attention to himself or his body, far from it. He is a very unassuming 30 year-old man that actually prefers to live a quiet life with his girlfriend, fellow actress Gina Carano (Fast and Furious 6).

Henry Cavill credits his trainer Mark Twight, who also trained the cast of 300, for his transformation to play the iconic role.

Now, to highlight just how brutal the training he underwent was, the National Guard, which is heavily showcased in Man of Steel, has put out a series called Soldier of Steel.

The piece is a motivational, instructional series aimed to inspire everyday people to make their own “super transformations”. The Guard is using Cavill in their advertising.

Director Zack Snyder makes the introduction in the piece and explains how soldier-citizens can transform their bodies.

There are three videos of National Guard training, but the fourth one features Cavill and his grueling routines. Both ladies and gents can enjoy watching the stunning Brit doing his workouts.

In the video Twight also talks about how the workouts help people find out how much they can actually do with their bodies, just as Superman does.
