The footage is from a surveillance camera at a Shanghai subway station and has caused outrage across the internet in China. You don’t need to be a linguist to guess what they are saying.

From our regular contributor, Fake Steve Gillmor
Twitter has no chance of being trusted with anything, not even for the formation of the citizen militia that will rule after the next glorious revolution. Microsoft Mesh on Toast, that’s another matter, so lets explore it.

Fail whale on toast may be popular in Japan, but Seattle Bear is more palatable to the general populace in the enterprise space. Monopolies, Standard Oil, AT&T like behavior, these are the things people want. Windows, Office, Mesh toast transition from the previous era of computing, Windows for Workgroups and Windows NT converged and transferred control from IT to a loose federation of micronations in the South Pacific.

Soon an average civilian could set up tunnels between islands, and run cables to support ISDN. Lotus Notes, Exchange Server, Citrix, McDonalds, KFC, all mass produced. Fluffy white clouds circling the air. Groovy.

Twitter is OS/2, Identi.ca Linux, Mesh on Toast, the Windows of the space. Note Dominos is still a popular game in some countries. Transfer of messages, via Telegram, the internet of the 19th century, and the pipes were cleaned by Ajax, kitchen gel.

The security however isn’t there. Chinese spies steal blackberrys, but they don’t steal iPhones. Windows for Mobile is now more secure thanks to Mesh toast, and at the intranet level, Web 2.0-aware CIOs are cheering in a sea of bright lights.

Then there was Scoble at Microsoft. Scoble made mesh toast. By himself he defined his mesh toast with a special mark. Sure, Scoble on Toast isn’t the Virgin Mary, but at a time everyone’s identity is time-sliced up according to these very different but parallel-running information streams, surely Scoble toast means something. Zuckerberg, still in diapers, snatched another idea for Facebook, canons blazing. F*(% I’m sh*^faced.

Apple created the iPhone to take advantage of Gates leaving Microsoft, but we all know Steve Jobs is on borrowed time. Besides, Uncle Fester is more menacing at the reigns of Microsoft, API and Mesh Toast cleaned with Ajax Kitchen Gel, and wammo, the cleanest kitchen in Seattle.

And it’s here that simple wins - a lowest common denominator approach to toast. Recall that in the Watergate investigation, Nixon didn’t eat toast, case closed.

People on FriendFeed breastfeed over the synchronous convergence of Mesh toast. Magic Mushrooms. Nuff said. A complete leopardization:

Every day I get in the queue (Too much, the Magic Mushroom Bus)
To get on the bus that takes me to you (Too much, the Magic Mushroom Bus)

That’s Yahoo in a nutshell, as I’m sure you would agree.

The survey, launched in an effort to understand America’s perception of disability, asked, “Which would you choose: Living with a severe disability that forever alters your ability to live an independent life, or death?” The survey findings noted significant attitudinal differences based on age, income, geographic location, and level of education.

Disaboom announced the results in an effort to educate people about why this viewpoint is so tragic. How about you?

French Canadians are upset about Paul McCartney performing in Quebec City as part of 400th anniversary celebrations, because “The presence of [his] English-language music on the most majestic part of Battlefields Park, as beautiful as it might be, can’t help but bring back painful memories of our Conquest.”

The quote is from a letter endorsed by Parti Québécois Members of the National Assembly, and part of a push to have McCartney sing in French at the concert.

The letter asks McCartney to use his performance to make a plea for the sovereignty of the Quebec people and asks McCartney to show the same sensitivity to “the people of French Quebec” as he has shown to “the fate of the seals.”

Better still, one of the two Parti Québécois Members said McCartney’s presence reflects a “Canadianization” of the anniversary celebrations.

According to the National Post, not all French Canadians are raving lunatics, with Jean Charest, the Quebec Premier, say that the people involved should be embarrassed: “Nobody criticizes Céline Dion for singing in Paris, Munich, England or elsewhere on the planet,” he said.

Google has announced a new range templates for Google Docs. As the video above shows, one template can be used to manage wedding invitation lists. Yes, Google Docs can be used to manage wedding invitation lists. Hmmm….Google Docs can be used to manage wedding invitation lists. Sorry for repeating myself, but I’m overawed by the classy demonstration.

Maybe I’m not geeky enough, but the idea of using Google Docs as a tool to managing wedding invites…but better still, using a template on Google Docs to get people to input their details so invites can then be sent out, doesn’t do it for me. But then again, I also eloped when I got married so I could avoid things like using Google Docs to manage wedding invites (not that Google Docs existed in 1999, it would have been Office 97…but I don’t remember Microsoft pushing this sort of use).

The official, and even more classy post from Google is here, where they list wedding planners with petrol (gas) mileage calculators and photo albums. Because nothing says use me for your wedding than a template offered next to a mileage calculator

Skylar Deleon, a former TV Power Ranger, adds a new dimension to where are they now, with murder charges and some strange behavior.

Deleon is facing the death penalty for murdering a couple at sea as part of a plot to steal their yacht, but is now in the headlines for trying to cut off his penis in jail.

Officials say that Deleon “somehow” got hold of a razor and “tried to saw off his penis” while in his Orange County cell.

KTLA quotes local officials saying that “he was unsuccessful,” but “there was a lot of blood.” Deleon had his penis fully re-attached in hospital but now waits for a trial where a functioning penis may make little difference is he’s sent to the chair.
