Google forced to black out Street View photos
Dozens of pictures from Google's new Street View service have been removed after concerns were voiced about invasion of privacy. Areas of cities across Britain have been 'blacked out' after a string of complaints from people captured by the U.S. firm's cameras.

It’s Christmas Time!

A few days back we set up our very first full-size, brand new Christmas tree. The past years we’ve dealt with just a teeny (two-footer) Christmas tree. Now that we’re living in a more spacious place (and with extra funds to boot) we decided to decorate. And it helps liven up the mood, too.

We placed the tree where Michael’s crib used to be. We know he’s in a happier place, and we’d like to be happy in his memory.

First came the unboxing. Wow. I never thought trees came in boxes!

Mistake #1 - we assembled the tree from top down, not from bottom up. That makes it harder to see the trunk part, where the branches are supposed to be inserted.

Turrone at Friomixx

This was ordered at the Univ of Sto. Tomas branch (right in front of the hospital). Kids there have it great. They have a restaurant row! Anyway, this is a turrone, or in the vernacular turon, basically fried banana crepe. This one is sprinkled with peanuts, with chocolate syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Best consumed within a couple of minutes (which we did)!
