<description>Stephen Curry looked tired. His soft, feathery shot was clanging off the rim. The slender, baby-faced sophomore seemed to be just another in a long line of stars bottled up by Georgetown’s ferocious defense.
Davidson’s run was certainly over. A good season was coming to a fitting end against one of college basketball’s elite programs.
Then, as quick as Curry can get off a turnaround 3-pointer, the Wildcats staged a comeback.

<description>The state American Legion athletic committee has adopted a new Class A baseball format for at least the next two years because there are no longer 12 Class A teams.
Class A Legion baseball in North Dakota will be one 11-team league, rather than separate eastern and western divisions.
The top five teams will qualify for the state tournament, with the other six playing a double-elimination tournament for the final three state berths. The five qualifying teams also are scheduled to play a tournament prior to state for seeding purposes.

<description>Francisco Liriano’s fourth start of spring training was encouraging for the Minnesota Twins.
Hoping to break camp with the team 15 months after elbow surgery, Liriano pitched four hitless innings Sunday in Minnesota’s 3-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles. The left-hander struck out five and walked two in a scoreless outing.
“The first inning was a little bit like his last start,” Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. “The second inning, he started letting it go.

The exhibition games are over. The regular season is about to start. And their jet lag is fading — but still not gone.
“The last couple of days have been pretty rough,” Tim Wakefield, master of the hypnotic knuckler, said Sunday. “My body’s still adjusting, but I think last night was the first night I got a decent amount of sleep and not waking up four or five times during the night.”

If the Grizzlies were playing any defense in the second half, Jefferson certainly didn’t see it.
