It looks like it's becoming a trend that I don't really update this blog anymore and when I do, it's to announce a new baby. But yes, I had my baby boy last year. LOL. I will update this more often I swear. I MUST. Or else the next time will be with another baby hahahaha. Here's Mr. Cutie Pie:

This is my little girl all grown up now!

Toodles!

It's been almost a year...

2012-10-30T21:31:00.004-04:00

I know, I know. This blog has been abandoned, but this time, it's for a reason. You guys probably don't know this but I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl on July of this year. That has obviously been taking up most of my time and energy. I'm not complaining though because she's such an angel. Motherhood is exhausting but it's the best job in the world. Here is a picture of her:

And here's our family picture:

Her name is Madison by the way, but we've been calling her Maddy ever since she was in my belly. We're also living in our own place now too just so our little one can have her own room. She hasn't been staying in it yet but she will in a couple of months. It's easier to have her sleep near us so I can feed her faster. She's not a happy camper when she's hungry. Somehow, she managed to learn how to scream at the top of her lungs and it's quite nerve-wracking. Anyway, I doubt I'll be blogging as much as I did last year but I'll try to pop in now and again. I can't be buying as much makeup and clothes like I did because Maddy obviously comes first. :) I'm also probably going to be blogging about baby stuff now too such as cloth diapers and stuff. I hope you guys haven't left me completely though but I can't blame you for doing so. 'Til next time, take care!

Back To School

2011-09-07T20:58:00.000-04:00

Well not really back to the same school. I am going to a new school this year as UofT is just a money sucking shithole. They screwed me over and I pretty much went there for 3 years for no reason. For those who are about to go to Uni/college, PLEASE do yourself a favour and know what you want to do before going because it's such a waste of money to go without a plan. Also know the amount of money you will have to need to pay off your school with the least assistance from the government, because you're gonna have to pay that back after anyway, might as well save and pay right on the spot. Anyway, my rant is done (finally lol). I'm happy about my schedule because I get Thursdays and Fridays off. Yaaay. Sorry I've been away. I had nothing to blog is really the reason why I haven't blogged. So how was your first week of school?

2011-05-13T22:04:00.001-04:00

I've tried for a while to avoid MAC lipsticks because I know I'd fall in love with it and become more broke than I already am. But it was hard to do and here are my proof of how I fail at resisting MAC.

Good karma I guess?

2011-05-09T00:46:00.000-04:00

I've been having so many off-days for a while now and things are finally looking up. I haven't been online for a couple of days because apparently my household internet usage has been used up (all 60GB). I have a feeling that someone was using our Internet and has been for a while now but whatever. Anyway, my good deed today I guess turned on a light somewhere and I am finally getting what I want. What did I do you ask? Well I bought these Annabelle eyeshadow pans and a palette then I think I grabbed one that was on the CSD thinking that the sales associate haven't put it in my bag. But she did and I ended up with two. So I went back today to give it back and ta-DA! After my situation with UTM, I have applied for Sheridan and have been waiting for my acceptance for much longer than I was anticipating. Since I couldn't go online, I had no way of checking my acceptances and jut did today and saw that I was accepted!! FINALLY right? Anyway, I shall update more once I find the battery charger for my brother's DSLR that I always use which I seem to have misplaced. LOL. He's gonna kill me...

Silver Shatter Oh How I Need Thee

2011-05-02T01:56:00.000-04:00

I was told by an associate at Trade Secrets last Tuesday that their shipment arrives Thursday. I went there Thursday and apparently they will get it Friday. Friday comes and I was too sick to go anywhere. Saturday, Mike checks EVERYWHERE in the mall for me and found out that they are already sold out everywhere. ARGHHH! They said they should get more by next week and if this happens again, I will be very upset. :(

Sally Hansen brushes?

2011-04-27T03:46:00.001-04:00

I never even knew that they sold brushes. Anyway, I saw the powder brush just lying around in my department and couldn't believe that it was only $3.40. I had a mission finding the item number for this when I wanted to buy it because there was no barcode anywhere. So I went to the cosmetics department and an associate directed me to where they were located. There was a small basket of sally hansen brushes in it and basically only these 2 brushes were left. I have a lot of brushes as it is, but for this price, why not right? I've only felt it and it feels soft. Now I gotta wash them so I can test them and I'll let you know. For those in canada, try asking your sears store if they have these still because I was told that sears was discontinuing them.

New contacts!

2011-04-27T00:11:00.001-04:00

Ahhh my order from fobbybarbie finally came in! I can't wait to try it. But I need to buy a new lens solution because I think the one I was using sting my eyes now for some odd reason. That's why I haven't been using my other ones. What a shame because I really liked them but they really hurt my eyes to the point that I can't even put them on!

Haul!

2011-04-26T02:51:00.004-04:00

One of the advantages and also a disadvantage of working in the mall is shopping. Don't get me wrong. I love shopping. But the aftermath of the money decrease in my bank account is just plain depressing. Anyway, here are the stuff that I got!

This is my favourite from all of them! Sooo cool.

5 for $10!!!

Best part about Easter being over is the HUGE sale on chocolates after. As if I didn't already have enough lol..

That was all actually (and surprisingly no makeup yayyy). I really should attempt P10P. Have any of you done it? I'd like to hear your story :)

Easter Sundays have never really been big in my family. We actually haven't celebrated it for a while but today they actually came over for lunch. And of course, we had filipino style pot-luck (plus lasagna, random I know right?). The strawberry shortcake from this bakery called Lazar was mouth watering though. Yummm. Anyway, this is my FOTD. Katy Perry Purr

2011-04-24T04:23:00.002-04:00

I was working today (well yesterday now since it's 4AM) and I was flipping through our flyer and the back had the advertisement for the release of Katy Perry's Perfume called Purr. I have a thing for Katy Perry and I think she is an awesome and beautiful person and a really great artist so I definitely had to check it out. I went up to the fragrance department and saw it there. The bottle is SO CUTE! The perfume however, isn't my cup of tea. I like fruity and sweet scents but I find this a bit too fruity and sweet. I like it but not enough to buy it. My coworker sprayed some on her wrists and she likes it even better after a while. For me, the after smell was a total no-no. It smelled too much like an adult and I was not fond of it at all. For those wondering, my kind of scents are Harajuku Lovers (original ones especially Love and Baby, Love from the summer collection, and also the new mermaid one that came out), Victoria's Secret Heavenly, VS Bombshell, and Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue (which I've been lemming for forever but it's sooo expensive!). If I could have any of these perfumes in the Purr bottle, I'd be jumping up and down. Haha maybe not, but I'd be super happy. :)

Macaroooooons

2011-04-23T02:58:00.000-04:00

I've honestly never tried these. I have tried the other kind of macaroons. You know, the cake one with coconut in it? I don't know what started my craving but I've been craving these for a while now. And apparently, these are difficult to make at home so I won't even bother to try. So if someone could kindly send some toward my direction or tell me where the best ones are at, I shall love you forever. :)

freshMinerals starter set

2011-04-20T06:11:00.001-04:00

Sears is currently selling a bunch of makeup for really good prices. For example, I got the Revlon Colorstay Liner for $8 and the L'oreal true match foundation for $11, both plus my discount. Anyway, I was working the other day and had to look for a glue gun because one of the pins on the dresses we sell fell apart and needed to be glued back to the pin part. Anyway, my first instinct was to ask the tailor upstairs and she didn't have any. I was walking back to the escalator and saw a bunch of these:

Regular price is $37.50 and was marked down to $7.50 (+my discount). I hesitated for a bit because I obv don't need any more makeup/brushes, but this was so hard to pass. I thought if the makeup wasn't all that good, I still get three brushes! I really started to use it now and can't review it all that well yet. But one of the e/s is gorg!! I recommend you get it now before it runs out. There was about 20 left on that shelf (which was weirdly located in the wrong department: in between purses and scarves... wtf). I don't know if they'd have this in Sears in the US. And I never really heard of this brand before. I do remember seeing it in its own fixture once upon a time but I guess Sears is starting to not sell them anymore.

double wing

2011-04-20T02:35:00.001-04:00

This is not my first time trying the double wing liner. But I can never get it to look right (N). Anyway, picture is crappy anyway cuz it's from Photo booth. And I am done school, and temporarily done with UTM (for now I think). I'm just waiting for Sheridan now. Ughhh. I hate waiting. One of my group projects for my Interactive Storytelling class is apparently gonna be showcased at this thing where they're trying to advertise the CCIT program. That's so awesome for my resume but I just find it funny that all these good news are coming when I'm not really in the program anymore. Oh well...

School change

2011-04-08T00:59:00.000-04:00

I'm really considering it considering the fact that there is no way in hell I would be able to afford it this new term year coming up. I'm still having problems with this term. Anyone know how to get 12,000 by May 2? And besides, I dont even know what to do with this program. What careers can I get with it? I kinda wanna do business now. And I can hear a big I TOLD YOU SO from my mom... UGH. What a waste of my 3 years and about $20,000. FML!!! :(
