&amp;nbsp;The reason many off us suffer from poor posture is because the way we sit or stand are amount our strongest bad posture habits should any of your vertebrae begin moving out of alignment because of bad posture and poor habits, you will inevitably begin experiencing pain&lt;br /&gt;

We are not designed to spend our day sitting on our bottoms staring at a computer screen or road, or any other activities from our modern life. Our busy lifestyle can also have a bearing on our posture. If we are stressed from having a huge mortgage, long commute to work and an unhappy work life, it will show in our posture.&lt;br /&gt;

So what can we do? Give up the modern lifestyle and go and live on an island and live off the land! This might sound like heaven but it is hardly realistic. But seriously there are things we can do. You could join a Pilates or Yoga class if you can afford the time. But until you have good balance you will struggle with these types of classes.&lt;br /&gt;

6 tips for the lifestyle that I’m supposed to be living these days, but am struggling with mightily…Until today that is!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;More Spice&lt;/strong&gt;–It’s no wonder that people on diets fail when they choose to eat food that doesn’t taste good to them.&amp;nbsp; In a world of fried and fatty foods doused with mayonnaise and ranch dressing, who wants to eat carrot sticks and celery for every meal.&amp;nbsp; You don’t have to if you know just a little bit about seasoning your healthy foods.&amp;nbsp; Use some cumin, turmeric, chili powder, cayenne pepper, or even some salt!&amp;nbsp; All of these things will make your food taste better and not add any calories to them.&amp;nbsp; Give it a shot!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;More Breakfast–&lt;/strong&gt;You’ve heard it before, but the research really backs it!&amp;nbsp; People who eat a healthy breakfast are more likely to maintain a healthy weight than people who don’t.&amp;nbsp; Enough said.&amp;nbsp; Eat some granola and fruit in the morning and kick start that metabolism for the day.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;More Protein&lt;/strong&gt;–Your body uses more energy digesting protein than it does while digesting carbs or fats.&amp;nbsp; Plus, eating protein helps to build muscle and increased muscle mass also boosts your metabolism.&amp;nbsp; It’s a win-win situation.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;More Volume&lt;/strong&gt;–Just because you’re trying to save calories during the day doesn’t mean you have to eat small amounts of food.&amp;nbsp; In 1974 after adding the skills of Osteopathy, I opened aclinic and began my career in physical medicine. During the next ten years, I attended many seminars on Osteopathic and Chiropractictechniques. Some research was proving that the standard thrust manipulative techniques of Osteopathy were not necessary. This approach fascinated me, as it was a less forceful approach but also seemed kinder to the body. These less forceful approaches utilised body positioning and the tensity of the tissue to facilitate the correction.One of the most eminent researches studied and utilised Eastern methods of therapy and from their theories developed new physical techniques to match the criteria. Dr George Goodheart developed from Chinese Meridian Theory a series of muscle tests that correlated with the diagnostic method of pulse diagnosis used in Acupuncture. Collected pages of Dr. G. Goodheart. Acupuncture and the knowledge of the meridian system are thousands of years old. Applied Kinesiology is one of the very few systems that has added new information to the ancient knowledge.
