Periode Menyusui

2016-03-21T16:47:00.000+07:00

Terakhir cerita proses lahiran, sekarang menyusui yaaa...
Ingat ya Mommies selama enam bulan pertama baby ga membutuhkan makanan tambahan apapun termasuk air putih. Hanya ASI (makanya disebut periode ASI eksklusif).
Pada saat proses menyusui, faktor psikis sangat berperan lhooo....waktu baby sempet sakit, Mommy jadi stress (sampe nangis-nangis, berpikiran Mommy macam apa aku inih, masa jagain anak satu aja sampe sakit...hiks)....naahhh saat itu juga produksi ASI berkurang.
Kalau Mommy udah stress, ASI ga keluar, trus Mommy mikirin ASI yang berkurang dan jadi tambah stress,, terus aja seperti lingkaran setan....inilah peran para Daddy siaga ASI.
Para Daddy harus bisa menenangkan Mommy. Caranya macem-macem donk yaaa, tergantung masing-masing pasangan.

(hadeuuhh, nulis nunggu sakit hiks)
Cerita proses kelahiran Audrey dulu ajah kali yaa.
Hari kamis tanggal 30 Juli, pas mandi sore udah mulai flek. Mommy udah banyak-banyak doa semoga lahir pas weekend supaya Daddy bisa stand by (Mommy juga udah pesen-pesen ke baby supaya lahirnya pas weekend aja yaaa, eh nurut....good baby!). Ga telepon ke Daddy, cuma pas Daddy pulang, Mommy baru bilang. Daddy bilang "ya udah besok periksa aja, khn memang pas jadual kontrol lusa). Masih belum ada firasat akan sebentar lagi lahiran nih. Khn prediksi masih tanggal 10 agustus.
Tapi memang kita berdua udah siapin kalau-kalau lebih awal dari prediksi tanggal lahir, baby udah mau lihat dunia :D
Buat calon Mommy, kalau udah mendekati tanggal lahir, jangan lupa siap-siap ya. Beberapa hal yang perlu disiapin:
# Mental. Alahhh.... Ga mudah, sakit, pokonya nyesss banget deh rasanya. Be happy yaaa. Kalau mules melanda, fokus ke baby (gimana senengnya kalau nti lihat baby udah di pelukan kita).
# Finansial. Ini ga kalah penting. Siapin dana cadangan. Prepare for everything. Contohnya yang udah planning akan normal, tetep sedia untuk sc, karena who knows what will happen suring the labour. Pengalaman pribadi nih. Begitu lahir, ternyata kondisi baby ga terlalu baik, harus dirawat, jadi ekstra khan. Nah, buat hal-hal ga terencana gitu deh.
# Perlengkapan Mommy. In case dadakan mau lahir yaaa.
Supaya ga ketinggalan hehehe. Isinya: (1) baju baby, sebaiknya tangan panjang dan celana panjang, supaya hangat (2) popok (3) selimut (4) gendongan (5) topi, kaos kaki, sarung tangan (6) kosmetiknya, kaya sabun mandi, minyak telon.
Sebelumnya minta makan siang dulu sama perawat (hahaha). Mommy parah banget deh, makan melulu.
Masih ketawa-ketiwi sama Daddy.
Jam 7 malem, dokter kandungan dateng, cek, eh baru bukaan 4. Dikasih opsi, mau induksi supaya cepet, atau mau pulang dulu tunggu mules yang alamiah. Mommy pilih pulang dulu deh. Tapi sebelum pulang sempet beli KFC dulu. Hahaha.
Menjelang tengah malam, makin mules deh walaupun masih bisa nyengir. Nah, mulai tengah malam deh perjuangan dimulai. Daddy kena omel terus deh pokoknya (maaf ya Daddy, jadi pelampiasan).
Sampai rumah sakit, langsung masuk ruang bersalin lagi, periksa dalam, eh udah bukaan 8. Daddy udah ga boleh ninggalin ruangan, dokter langsung ditelepon lagi. Heboohhh....hahahaha...
Mommy masih teriak ngomel-ngomel #@!?@#!!
Dimulai deh proses pushing XD
Moment inilah saat stamina bener-bener diuji, semangatttt!! Untungnya baby ga terlalu besar ukurannya, 4 kali ngeden keluar deh. Yeaayyy, welcome to the world baby!!! 💕💕💕
Proses berikutnya bersambung diposting setelah ini yaaa...

Mommy Wanna Be

2015-06-29T21:12:00.000+07:00

Baby is coming....
Semua orang excited, waiting for the baby, ga cuma Mommy dan Daddy nya ajah.
Seneng, deg-degan, khawatir, cemas, takut, ga sabar, dll, dsb, dst. Tapi perasaan seneng mungkin porsinya paling besar.
Setiap kali baby bergerak aja, wuihh senengnya minta ampun. Langsung nyanyi-nyanyi sendiri atau ngajak ngobrol baby sambil elus-elus perut. hehehe....(kalau lagi ga hamil, kelakuan kaya gini sih bahaya neh).
Perlengkapan baby udah lumayan tersedia (bersyukur dapet lungsuran, hehe). Yang basic aja sih, kaya baju popok, gurita, selimut, tempat tidur, bantal, dan teman-temannya. Apa lagi yaa..???!!
Well, will see what will be...Nanti diupdate lagi deh kondisi menjelang kelahiran dan sesudah hehehe
Sehat-sehat ya Babyyy... Mommy and Daddy love you xoxoxo

The "Garden"

2012-12-28T09:36:00.000+07:00

I planted this from the chilly I found in the refrigerator. Wow, it just grows very very well. I was so happy when I saw the first flower (^_^)

The firsts chilies. YEAY... I danced when I saw these, honestly (^_^)

More flowers and fruits (^_^)

Too bad some of the leaves don't seem very healthy (-.-")

The longest one (^_^)

I kindda worry with the heavy rain and strong wind this lately (-_-")

Ooops, they are loosing their flowers.

Don't know the name of this plant, but My Mom said it can be use as (herbal) medicine.

And this one is the "anti-mosquitoes". It really works. No mosquito dare to come near if we around this beauty. This plant has a strong smell.

My Dad's favorite.

Another Dad's favorite.

Still another one of Dad's favorite

The result isn't so bad. I'm so proud (^_^)

Even though my Brother said that "why the Christmas tree look so fat and chubby?", I still think it looks so cute.

This is the first crocheted Christmas tree I made. Thanks for sharing the pattern (I really forgot the URL address to the pattern (-_-"). It's free pattern). If you like it, try at www.allfreecrochet.com.

Charlie Bone and the Time Twister

2012-11-12T17:14:00.001+07:00

The second book (again thanks to my friend for lending me the book) :D

After last semester in Bloor's Academy, saving Emma Tolly, this semester Charlie and his friends gone through more life threatening adventure.

This time Charlie need to save his 11 years old great grand uncle who came to the present using a time twister.

This second book is better then the first one. Well done to Jenny Nimmo.

Very recommended :)

Midnight for Charlie Brown

2012-11-06T21:39:00.003+07:00

Borrowed the book from a friend.... Thanks Lika, it's a nice book :-)*

Wonder if the English one could be a lot more interesting than the translated one (0.o)

The whole strory is nice, as expected. Full of adventure, slow motion to the climax, no surprise up to the climax. The ending of Charlie Bone in this book really satisfiying.

If you are familiar with Harry Potter, this would be an alternative.

As you might guess, Charlie Bone is just an average 10 years old boy, suddenly got a supernatural ability (just call him 'gifted'). His ability is to hear voices in pictures (as if we are watching a movie). And because of one picture of a man with his baby girl, Charlie's life changed. He felt like he needed to help the man and his girl in the picture. And because of that, Charlie and his friends, were facing dangerous adventure, against conspiracy of his own family. Plus he was sent to the Bloor's academy, where 9 other gifted boys and girls all stay together.

Great adventure, the ending made me wonder of the next book gonna be (^_^)

Happy Reading.

Dogger the Dog

2012-11-04T15:28:00.000+07:00

Tomorrow is my friend's birthday, Nancy.
Here is Nancy and me :)

This year, I decided to give her a birthday present, hand made by me :)

I bought some yarns

And of course Dacron for filling

Working with the pattern for 3 days, and ... voila, the result

Look cute eh :D
Got the pattern from a crochet book by Arie Alhabsyi.

Why Dogger the Dog, because Nancy is a dog lover and she was born in the year of dog (according to the Chinese calendar).

Hope you like it Dear ... XO

PMS...???...NO PROBLEM :)

2012-10-30T09:54:00.001+07:00

Just wanna share my experience on this.

PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome), for some woman the symptoms are quite annoying and discomforting, but for others it could be very painful. Can be vary from woman to woman and from cycle to cycle. Not only physical (uncomfortable symptoms) but also psychological. Pain all around tummy, breast tenderness, headache, insomnia, mood swing, etc. etc.

I used to have most of the symptoms, 3 days prior are usually the worst. Combine with stress or depression, it get worsen.
But now, I'm free from some of the symptoms.
Some simple ways are:

Free myself from stress and any depression. How? Everybody needs to have a hobby. Now, instead of waiting till I have spare time, I spare some of my time for my hobby :)
You are what you eat. So true. Manage a healthy diet, gets me to a healthier life.
Exercise. I do jogging at least 5 days in a week, for a least 15 minutes.
And basically I don't smoke, don't drink coffee, rarely stay up late (get enough rest).

Try it and have a life you can enjoy (^_^)

Bus or Train ???

2012-10-29T08:37:00.000+07:00

I always take bus all this time, and....... Why not try something new :D
I tried to take train during this few weeks.
The result was not so bad.
Except once, when the train was half an hour delayed. And the passengers was so full, made a woman fell from the train to the platform (quite horrific).
I didn't really see what caused the accident, what I did notice was people were talking about what happened without doing anything.
So, I just left the train and tried to calm her down, she seemed a little shock. Poor lady. Good thing she was not injured.

Tried bus and train during rush hours, and the conclusion is : Train is a lot better (we had commuter line to serve Jakarta and supporting cities around)
Few reasons why Train is better:

The air conditioner is better than bus
They have special train for female (pretty comfy)
At least they have schedule
No traffic jam (means faster)

Still at the end of the day, whatever transportation facility we take, it will always be nice as long as we enjoy the ride.

Happy riding (^_^)

Pauli Test

2012-10-21T19:43:00.000+07:00

Well, for me the test is rather "annoying" :(
First they would give me a big size (A3 size) of paper fill with numbers from 0 to 9. Full of numbers on both side (o.O)
Then, they would ask me to sum each number with the following number in one column, and if the result is more than 9, I need to write down only the last digit.
It shall be done within 1 hour, I said WHAT !!!!
During the test the psychologist would give extra commands, such as giving underlines after specific time.
The test has almost the same rule with Kraepelin test, with slightly different additional commands during test.
Still, both are quite annoying :(
Make sure you are in good condition during the test....
I would think that the test really about knowing one's commitment, endurance, and consistency. At least that's how I felt.

Doraemon

2012-10-14T10:15:00.001+07:00

I went to a gift shop just few days ago, and I found this :D

Doraemon.... A box of small figurine.

This year, 2012, is exactly 100 years before Doraemon's birth.

I really, really want to buy it, as a gift, for myself :D

Guess I know what I will buy as a Christmas present this year :D

Love Doraemon ^.^

Some Old Pictures of Her

The Demon's Lexicon

2012-09-24T11:48:00.001+07:00

I didn't really read this book (~.~), skipped some of the chapters. Kindda boring I should say.

First chapter, instantly brought the memory of Supernatural TV series (with Dean and Sam as the main character).

Still readable during free time ^_^

Wintercraft

2012-09-21T07:14:00.000+07:00

I got the cover by googling, not scanning ^_^

This book is good, tense, rapid, and solid.

Interesting characters. And how the author arrange the ending is quite nice (there are books, which you just knew how they gonna end up since the first chapter).

Once I started with the first page, just couldn't stop up till the end. 328 pages is just telling the few days adventure of 15 years old Kate Winters (few days only!!). Must be hell of days.

Good readings ^_^

Paper Model - House with Calendar (Again) ~~

2012-09-18T11:00:00.001+07:00

Had the idea of making the castle, but then the printer ink is not enough for at least 40 coloured pages >.<

Still good enogh for another house though. This one is alot better then the first one. Got the trick done well now.

Special thanks to www.fold4world.com. Got the design, include instruction from here. Just click on the pictures.

Happy crafting ^_^

Paper Model - House with Calendar

2012-09-16T15:26:00.000+07:00

I'd been seeing this design for few days, and wait to have time to build this. And finally....

Really a nice one. Paper model with calendar (adjustable for all years, the calendar part is rotatable ^_^).
The result is not as nice as I thought it would be. Material is the main reason. Should had used thicker paper (I use 70-80 g of A4, while it should be 100 g or more). But when you use heavier paper, make sure to use better glue also.

Special credit to www.fold4world.com. Love this. My favourite part is ... the chimney (sooo cute).
The design and assembly instruction is available for free (in pdf).
Compare with the first one I made (Rumpelstiltskin paper model, this one is quite tricky). Took hours to finish this one. Lot of fun though. Looking for castle for next project (may take weeks I guess)

Have fun with the paperwork ^_^

The Amulet of Samarkand - from the Bartimaeus Trilogy

2012-09-13T12:32:00.002+07:00

Fiuuuhhhh, finally finish with this book, after few days (512 pages to read) ^_^

The first trilogy of Bartimaeus, a 5000 years old genie. With his little master Nathaniel (a.k.a. John Mandrake), they were involved in murder and bloody intrigue. Lucky for them Bartimaeus is a very experienced demon ^_^

The author done a really good job with the plot and climax, plus all the details (in the footnotes. honestly, there's so many important information in the footnote). All the characters are well described. It's a bestseller anyway.

No further comment, just grab it and happy reading ^_^

Not Just a Witch

2012-09-11T17:19:00.001+07:00

Another Ibbotson's book.

Realy a good one. Thought me about real friendship. Highly recommended, not just for children ^_^

Telling about two witches, had been friend forever, and wanted to make the world a better place to live in. Heckie (she can turn people to animals, only bad people of course) and Dora (she can turn people bacome stones, also bad people only). But then, because of a silly incident, they turned away from their friendship, and a really bad guy took the advantage of this.
In their mission to make a better world, they met really nice kids, who have really important part in their mission, Hackie's familiar the Dragon-Worm (half dragon, half warm), miserable ghost who live in Dora's wardrobe. And not just them to help, there's also a group of witches with their magic.
How things end up between them? Will they be able to make the world better place, with less bad people? Grab the book and let's have the adventure.

Happy Reading ^^

The Secret of Platform 13

2012-09-09T14:39:00.000+07:00

This was the first Ibbotson's book that I read few years ago. Sure very recommended for children's reading.

Main story is about group of "rescuers". There's an ogre (one eye ogre), old witch (who forget most of the things at most of the time), hag (who feels not bad enough), and a fey (with flowers and plants all over). This unique team wonder around London looking for the Prince. Prince of the Island where they live (the island itself is not in our dimension of course). Imagine how exiting their adventure could be. Plus, they only have 9 days to complete their mission, or they will be trapped here for 9 years, until the gate open again.

Let's have the adventure...

Happy reading ^^

Paper Model - Rumpelstiltskin

2012-09-06T10:13:00.002+07:00

Inspired by one of TV show (Hitam Putih on Trans-7), discussed about a comunity of paper-model, I decided to made one myself.

This one is very simple, only 1 page of design. Got the design from www.hp.com (thanks alot, love it so much). Not a very bad result, cause I'm using hp printer at home. Still not perfect, there's still white edges left un-cut and some part not glued perfectly.

The design is free to download with assembly instruction. Other characters also available, e.g. Shrek.

Prepare the scissor and glue ... and Happy folding ^_^

Which Witch?

2012-09-04T09:53:00.000+07:00

Another book ^_^

The author is Eva Ibbotson. This is the second of Ibbotson's book that I read. The first one was The Secret of Platform 13. Will get to this book book after this.

Really recommended for children. Though I read most of Grimm and Andersen tales during my childhood, I would read Ibbotson's if I did found one back then.

Which Witch had won Anne Spencer Lindberg Prize for category of children fantasy novel in 2001, and as runner-up for prestigious Carniage Medal award during first publication in 1979.

Since I have read The Secret of Platform 13, I think, the whole idea of the story is kindda similar. Very good stories, I must say.

Here's a bit of the story.

Which Witch is about a great Wizard, Arriman, looking for a great wizard to replace him. His search end up with him looking for a wife through a contest, to find the darkest witch. But there's one white witch, Belladona, who joined the contest with help of a mysterious young boy, Terence, and her new familiar, Rover (a worm). The story gets more interesting with all kinds of witches joining the contest, from half mermaid witch, twin witches who always fight one another, up to an enchantress. Wow, what will happen at the contest, and will Arriman able to find a great witch to replace him?....

Go through the book and enjoy the adventure.

Happy Reading ^_^
