Man Impregnates Girl

2010-08-04T14:35:00.001-04:00

A St. Albans man accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl and impregnating her was in court for a preliminary hearing Friday. Investigators say the alleged incident happened back in May at Michael Lacy's apartment. The 11-year-old victim was friends with Lacy's daughter and spent the night there frequently. "She indicated she had stayed all night at Michael Lacy's residence and, at that time, she had intercourse with him," Kanawha County Sheriff's Detective Sean Snuffer said. "She stated she had not had sexual intercourse with anybody other than Michael Lacy." Lacy says he didn't intentionally sexually assault the girl. He told deputies that it was a case of mistaken identity. "He stated he woke up with someone kissing his neck while he was lying on the couch. He says he thought it was his wife because his wife often did that to him," Kanawha County Sheriff's Cpl. J.M. Launi said. "He admitted to kissing her neck and doing some kind of act. He could not confirm or deny actually having sex with her. He couldn't remember." Lacy blames that memory loss on the fact that he had taken Xanax and Lortab that night. He claims that he was groggy and in and out of sleep. Launi says that soon after the alleged assault, Lacy realized that it was the girl instead of his wife.

JUST NASTY.....

Officers were called to the Giant on Muddy Branch Road on July 15 after a woman said she felt something in her hair as she was walking out of the store. She said that she asked the man behind her if he’d felt a drip from above but that the man “acted like he didn’t know what she was talking about,” according to an arrest affidavit filed in court.

In the parking lot, the woman asked a friend to look at her clothes. Her friend said it looked like semen. The victim told police that she then spotted the man in the parking lot and walked toward him, but he sped away.

Detective Patrick Word examined surveillance video and saw the suspect purchase groceries using his store bonus card. In the doorway, the man can be seen squirting fluid from a bottle and taking a picture, police said.

Police identified Edwards through his bonus card and the surveillance video. Forensic tests confirmed the substance as semen. DNA tests are pending.

Michael Wayne Edwards Jr., 28, has been charged in that incident and in another at a Michaels craft store, also in Gaithersburg. Police said that after questioning Edwards, they are looking for at least two more victims.

Montgomery County Detective Scott Brooks had been investigating the Michaels case since November. A shopper said a man followed her into the store. After he walked by, she felt liquid on the back of her sweater. She looked and thought it was semen. Lab results confirmed it.

Brooks matched that assailant’s description to Edwards, who was charged in the case.

Gaithersburg police ask anyone who may have noticed an unusual substance on their clothes but wrote it off as benign to call them at 301-258-6400. “No one would ever think that someone would do this,” said Officer Dan Lane.

Edwards, who is free on bond, is scheduled for two trials on assault charges in September. He could not be reached for comment Tuesday.

Mother Kills Herself And 12-Year-Old Autistic Son

2010-08-03T13:50:00.000-04:00

The night before a Bronx mom killed her 12-year-old autistic son and took her own life, she posted a heart-wrenching prayer on her blog saying her life was in God’s hands. “I sincerely repent of my sins, and receive Jesus as my personal savior,” Michaela Jackson wrote on It’s Mick’s World. “Now as your child, I turn my entire life over to you. Amen.” It was the final, fateful entry on the 37-year-old Jackson’s blog, which included photos from a Friday post showing her dancing happily with her son, Kenneth Holmes.

Jackson and her son were found dead Wednesday in the bed of their Morris Heights apartment. Both had gunshot wounds to the head and a 9-mm. pistol lay nearby. Investigators believe Jackson was strained by the demands of caring for her only child. She left an anguished suicide note explaining her unthinkable actions, police said yesterday.

“There’s a note that says that, in essence, she was overwhelmed by the child,” said Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly. “I’m sorry it had to end this way,” Jackson wrote in the note found taped to the inside of the Loring Place apartment’s bedroom door, said a police source. It ended with the words, “I love you all.”

Six Children Drown In Shreveport River

2010-08-03T13:43:00.000-04:00

Six teens drowned late Monday after disappearing into a sinkhole on the Red River, leading to a tragedy that Shreveport Fire Chief Brian Crawford called the worst he’s ever seen.Family members told authorities the victims, between the ages of 13 and 18 from three families, didn’t know how to swim and were wading in shallow water. They had been in the lake for about 10 minutes near the sandbar at the Charles and Marie Hamel Memorial Park. They had one life vest.“One child ventured off into an area that he was unfamiliar with, and some of the other children had gone off with him,” Crawford said. “They went into the vicinity of an 18-foot sinkhole. … And once one started toppling into that sinkhole grabbing a hold of another, trying to save another, eventually seven were pulled into the hole.”

A bystander jumped into the water and rescued a 15-year-old, but the other six went under and never resurfaced. The sixth body was recovered nearly three hours later, in water that authorities said was between 18-feet and 25-feet deep.“Unfortunately, I’m afraid, and it’s with a heavy heart, to report that we have pulled so far (six) bodies from the river. … I can honestly say that in my 26 years of service I’ve never seen anything of this magnitude. And I hope I never see it again.“It’s truly catastrophic and I can only imagine the effect it has on the families.”The teen who was rescued was treated on the scene. Emergency crews on both sides of the river responded to reports of a single person drowning just before 6:30 p.m., just south of the area. It took fire officials about 10 minutes to locate the area, and that’s when they learned there were multiple victims.

Dive teams from Shreveport and Bossier fire departments, as well as members of the Caddo Parish sheriff’s office, searched the water about an hour before recovering the first body. By 10:30 p.m., all the bodies were recovered.Marilyn Robinson, a friend of the families, watched helplessly as the victims, five males and one female, went under. She said a large group of family and friends, including roughly 20 children, were out at the sandbar to barbecue, swim and have a good time. They frequent the area and were familiar with the water, Robinson said. "None of us could swim,” the 38-year-old said. “They were yelling ‘help me, help me. Somebody please help me.’ It was nothing I could do but watch them drown one by one.”Louise Edwards also was among those who witnessed the teens go under the water.“It was hard watching them and not being able to help,” she said as tears rolled down her face. “Some people tried to jump in, but they were already gone. It’s like a nightmare. Lord please help us, please.”

The area where the teens drowned is not a public beach, and trenches had actually been dug to make it more difficult for people to enter the water, Glover said.“The river’s condition today, it has a little bit of current,” said Donna Jackson with Caddo sheriff’s marine unit. “It’s like any other waterway or lake. If you don’t know what’s out there, the dangers like the drop off the jetty, this sort of thing can happen. We’ve been very fortunate in the last few years; everything has gone well. Unfortunately, this happened today.

This is sad, when are we going to get over our fears and learn how to swim. This is a prime example why we should.

According to Montana, she and Morpheus have always been on good terms -- in fact, up until the whole porn thing, she claims they spoke on a weekly basis. However, Montana also tells us she never gave her dad a heads-up on the porno news.

A woman baby-sitting her two young nieces went berserk and stabbed them repeatedly in a bloody rampage in her sister and brother-in-law’s showcase Westchester home across the street from Martha Stewart’s farm, authorities said yesterday. Lisa Turkki, 39, grabbed a knife from the kitchen of the Katonah home and stabbed Maeve and Annabel Kelly, ages 7 and 9, at around 9 p.m. Saturday, seriously wounding both youngsters, said police in Bedford, the town that encompasses Katonah.

A 911 call was placed at 9:22 p.m., apparently by Turkki, pleading for help. The girls’ parent — financier Joe Kelly, 50, and Eva, 43, — were in nearby Caramoor attending a concert. They were called to the box office at intermission and told to return home. Neighbors heard screams from the parents as they entered the blood-spattered kitchen where the mayhem unfolded. “This is a parent’s worst nightmare,” said Heather Flournoy, who once wrote on her blog, Katonah Green, about the family and their innovative “green” home.

Turkki was arrested in the front yard on assault charges. Her nieces were in stable condition at Westchester Medical Center and were expected to survive

LINDSAY GOES TO JAIL... FOR 2 WEEKS

2010-08-02T14:20:00.000-04:00

Lindsay Lohan has been released from Lynwood Correctional Facility after serving less than two weeks behind bars. A spokesman for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department told photogs gathered outside Lynwood that Lindsay was released at about 1:35 AM. She was taken to UCLA Medical Center to begin her rehab treatment. Despite being sentenced to serve 90 days at the Lynwood Correctional Facility and the expectation she’d serve 23 days due to overcrowding, the Hollyweird actress has made her way to rehab, where she’ll address her issues for the required 90 days.

This is a bunch of bull, she should have served her time. Sh*t like this just show's me that the justice system only works for those who can afford to pay to get out. SMH!
