KARL LAGERFELD APOLOGIZES TO ADELE FOR 'FAT' REMARK/ADELE LOVES HER BODY

You may have heard Karl Lagerfeld's name a lot around the webosphere ( I just made that word up haha) all this week. Well, the not-so-nice attention sparked from an interview the Creative Director of Chanel and Fendi did Monday with Metro World News. When asked about pop singer Lana Del Rey he responded:

“I prefer Adele and Florence Welch. But, as a modern singer, she is not bad. The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice. Lana del Rey is not bad at all. She looks very much like a modern-time singer. In her photos, she is beautiful. Is she a construct with all her implants? She’s not alone with implants.”

Do you guys remember that saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all'? Yeah. I think he missed that day in Kindergarten class haha. What upsets me the most about all this, is that Lagerfeld himself struggled with weight issues and with that being said, shouldn't he be the last person to tear someone down about weight?

After much negative attention from the media and Adele fans worldwide, Lagerfeld has issued a statement in another Metro World News paper:

"I'd like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer. Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article it changes the meaning of the thought. What I said was in relation to Lana Del Rey and the sentence has since been taken out of context from how it was originally published. I actually prefer Adele, she is my favorite singer and I am a great admirer of her. I lost over 30 kilos over 10 years ago and have kept it off. I know how it feels when the press is mean to you in regards to your appearance. Adele is a beautiful girl. She is the best. And I can't wait for her next CD."

Okay, that's nice... But what about you calling her fat?

REVIEW: COVERGIRL LIP PERFECTION LIPSTICK - EMBRACE

Happy Hump Day! I've been meaning to do this post for a few weeks now about a lipstick that I absolutely ADORE. It's from CoverGirl's Lip Perfection lipstick line and the color is called 'Embrace'. It's a deep purple hue with a blue undertone which in my opinion really sets the color off. I've never seen a color quite like this one before and I'm truly addicted.

I first found out about this lipstick while on YouTube one day. You go on that website for one thing and in what feels like 5 minutes, you look up and not only have two hours passed but you now have a notepad with an endless list of products you ~~need~~. Well on an impromtu visit to Target with a friend, I found the color that was on my wishlist! Super excited, I couldn't even wait until I got home to try it on. I put it on in the car mirror on my way to the movies and we've been having a love affair ever since... My other lip colors are totally jealous haha.

It lasts ALL day, if anything you'll have to scrub your lips to get it off! But I really don't mind at all, that's just another excuse for me to wear it the next day haha. It goes on smooth, and the quality is serious competition for even my YSL lipstick. You haven't heard the best part yet, the price! Only $5.49. Yes, it's true. So what are you waiting for? Hey everyone! With it being a new year, I've decided to add a few new features to The JJ. Every two weeks or so, I'm going to post a "Juicy Tip". Every so often, I come across amazing beauty tips that have ~~changed my life~~ haha and I'm sure they can be helpful to you all as well. If you have any tips you'd like me to post, all is welcome. I love my readers and your suggestions mean the world to me!

I know I'm not alone in saying that it ~~sucks like hell~~ when your lipstick breaks, especially when it can cost as much as $40. Tired of throwing away money? Follow these effortless steps that will change your life! (I'm so dramatic haha)

STEP 1: Hold a match or lighter over the base of broken lipstick

STEP 2: Place broken piece on top of lipstick base and use a toothpick to smooth out the sides.

STEP 3: Place lipstick uncovered in the fridge for 15-30 minutes to solidify

STEP 4: Roll lipstick down and it's READY FOR USE!

HOW TO WEAR YOUR TIE FRONT TOP.

Hey my loves! ~~Spring~~ is in the air!! well not outside, but definitely in the mall. If you're going shopping to find winter gear, good luck because the spring and summer wear is EVERYWHERE! One item in particular that I must have this upcoming season is a tie front top. They are so much fun and can be worn so many ways including everything from an extra cas day at the beach to a fashionable girl's night out. Now that I've expressed my love for this top, let me just say, this is NOT a top you can just throw on without proper planning. I tried one on at Forever 21 which I thought I would love and was disappointed when I put it on. It wasn't that I didn't like the top but found that it created unnecessary emphasis on my stomach ( which is not flat!)..so I left the store without it. =[

After much thinking though, I realized that I should have gotten it. I am a strong believer that any style can be worn by any body shape... IF executed in the right way. So if the plus size girl can figure out how to wear a crop top and a two piece bikini without looking crazy, why can't I wear a top with a tie in the front??? So after a little focus, I've figured out some tricks of the trade. Allow me to share:

1. KEEP THE BOTTOM HALF HIGH WAISTED

If you keep your bottoms loose and/or high waisted, you don't even have to worry about your belly showing..you'll only show a sliver of skin if that. Avoid leggings or anything that clings too much. (except maybe a bodycon skirt which moves everything into the right place =])

2. FAKE IT TIL' YOU MAKE IT

Yes, fake it until you make it. If you don't have the flattest stomach or aren't comfortable at the idea of letting skin show, why not pretend? When I say fake it, I don't mean for you to pull out the body shaper or girdle.. unless of course you want to. What I do recommend is to try wearing a neutral or black cami under your tie front top to give off the illusion of still showing skin without showing anything. I do this trick all the time when wearing crop tops and it works like a charm.. looks great too *snaps fingers* haha

Hey everyone! Today was a bit of a drag huh?! Not even Halloween yet and snow (and rain) are falling and ~~killing~~ the weekend. With no where to go and nothing to see except the mess outside, I decided to put together a wishlist. The holidays will soon be upon us and I figured, what better way to prepare for that question that makes us all smile: "What do you want for Christmas?" =]

FUR: Currently, I'm having this love affair with fur. I just love the feeling. On my wishlist are a full fur hat, scarf and earmuffs. I promise I won't wear them all at once but I must have each of them! haha.

HAIR ACCESSORIES: My natural hair is finally at a point where I can attach pretty bows and other accessories to it for added spice and I'm so excited! Time to get CRAY! haha

MONIF C. : If you've been keeping up with my posts, then you are aware that Monif C. has released her holiday collection of dresses for 2011; my favorite being the Samantha Sequin which is AMAZING. Another hot Monif dress is the Emme Ponte Knit Arrow dress in ivory and black. This dress is simple enough to wear to work, and chic enough to wear for a special occasion. I love dresses that are multi-functional.

ASOS DRESSES: Also on my wishlist are three ASOS dresses which I am contemplating for the New Year. I love the elegance of the full lace dress, the funk of the dress with a fitted top and poofy tool bottom and the sass of the fitted black dress with sheer sleeves. I can see myself in all three of these, laughing it up with a glass of wine in hand.. or bottle.. or both haha.

SEQUIN DRESS & BLAZER (DOROTHY PERKINS): seriously, who doesn't love sequins.. great way to stand out at night.

HANDBAGS: The Neon Satchel from Cambridge Satchel Company I ♥ . I can't think of any color I can't wear this bag with.

LEATHER SKIRT: Leather Cult Company offers custom made leather pieces including skirts, shorts, pants, jackets and much more! Not only custom sizing, but custom length and color choices as well. This is undoubtedly the item on my wishlist I want the most, and better be under the Christmas tree. =]

AMERICAN APPAREL LEGGINGS: I love that American Apparel has expanded their sizes to an XL. I guess someone talked some sense into them?! A lot of companies need to follow suit. Sorry to mess up your perfect little company's image but the average size in the US is a 16. Do you care more about image than company profit? I'm just saying *shrugs* Anyway, I'm not the biggest fan of liquid leggings but I love the variety of colors these come in, and paired with a blazer and colorful pumps, the result could be magical.

SHEEPSKIN UGGS: Last winter, I completely abandoned my UGGs. I traded them in for military boots which I still love to death and hope will never go out of style. Even though my love for UGG boots have faded, these sheepskin ones have definitely made me fall in love all over again. It brings out your inner diva and makes you feel on top of the world. Besides, I believe every girl should channel their inner Snooki! ♥

EVANS BELTED TUNIC/LACE ACCENT TOP (DP): The lace accented sheer top from Dorothy Perkins would be a nice addition to my wardrobe, and very fall 2011. I have a bunch of lace tops but nothing lace accented so this piece is necessary to me. I've been on a sheer obsession for a few months now so this Evans Belted Tunic should be no surprise, but what I love about it is the length which allows me to throw it on in a hurry with leggings and still look FAB!

I'm guessing most of you have seen the Beyonce video for "Party"? If your answer is yes, then you exactly why I've done a "shoeicide" for the song's video. If your answer is no, don't worry.. I've got you covered!

I can't say that I'm the biggest Beyonce ~~Stan~~, but I can say that she works hard and it shows. Her third video in less than a month, the "Party" video was an amazing visual with even better shoe choices! I literally couldn't stop myself from ~~staring~~ at her feet every time the camera panned them haha.

My favorite shoes from the video were undoubtedly, the Dior Tahiti Ankle Wrap Platform Pumps! *Happy Dance* I love the colors and the ability to switch the ribbon for any color makes the possibilities endless. Hey everyone! If you follow me on twitter, you know that I went on quite a rant when this picture of Ms. Rowland was released. (@_2juicy_ for those of you who don't follow me *shameless plug* haha) We've witnessed this new sex kitten Kelly ~~creep~~ upon us slowly, so slowly that we almost didn't even notice it. There was the racy Vibe and Cosmopolitan covers, the Motivation and Lay it on Me music videos and more cleavage than a christian southern belle would allow. This however, has got to be the noise that started the avalanche; I feel like there is much worse on the way.

This would be a whole different conversation if Kelly Rowland wasn't talented. Often times we see struggling artists revert to sex appeal as a way to cover up their lack of talent; Kelly has too much of a gift to be showing off her goods as if she has something to prove.

Didn't any of these celebs learn anything from Toni Braxton and her nude Vibe cover that ultimately ended her career?!

Hi everyone!! Are you loving the varsity jacket as much as I am? I have to admit, when browsing store windows at the end of the summer season and seeing lettermans on display, my first thought instinctively was "How high school" haha. It wasn't because the jacket reminded me of varsity sports, but more so because it reminded me of the 'old' me. The 17 and wear sneakers everyday me. I'm so far from that now. On casual days now, I pull on some leggings with some military boots and throw on a long flowy top. With that said, you can understand my mini ~~freak-out~~! After getting home and doing some research on this fall trend, I found that it had been included in a lot of runway shows; not only that, but the models weren't wearing sneakers! So with that game changing inspiration I came up with some looks for ways to wear your varsity jacket. How will you wear yours? Sexy, Chic .. or Cas?!

I know most of you have either seen the first episode of Chelsea Settles or have at least heard a buzz about it. If you haven't seen it, allow me to fill you in. Chelsea Settles is a new reality show on MTV featuring an overweight 23 year old girl from a small town in PA, who studied fashion in college but is so embarrassed of her weight that she has let her dreams hold her back.

Going through great measures not to draw attention to herself, Chelsea eats alone, hides fast food bags in the back of her car and arrives to class an hour ahead of time just to pick out a chair she can fit in. One aspect of her life however that her weight has not interfered with is her love life. Chelsea is in a long distance relationship with boyfriend Rory who is in the Army, stationed in Kentucky. Even though the relationship seems to be going well, Chelsea soon reveals that he has cheated on her. Chelsea justifies her boyfriend's infidelity as okay because she doesn't know "who else will love me at my size". After having dinner with Rory and hearing him doubt her ability to move to LA and "fit in", Chelsea decides that she is not going to let anyone deter her from her goals. Later that week, Chelsea makes her first attempt at 'clubbing' but decides to leave after the bouncer tells her to step aside as he lets thinner girls enter. As she walked back to her car, drunk club-goers shouted terrible weight related remarks at Chelsea, who broke down crying and tore off her microphone equipment. After 5 days of feeling down, Chelsea finally decided to make a change and move to LA to chase her dreams!

Weighing in at 324 lbs, Chelsea decided to leave the only town she's ever known, her first love Rory and her ill mother and head to LA with her cousin Jarel to fulfill her fashion dreams and start her weight loss journey.

What I love about this show is its relatability; Weight is such a sensitive subject and it hits a nerve with even the skinniest girl in the room. Chelsea is so brave for sharing her story and I wish her nothing but the best of luck on her journey.. she is definitely not alone and is such an inspiration to girls all over the world.

The show airs every Tuesday at 11pm ET on MTV!

I absolutely love Adele and honestly, *whispering* I judge people who don't haha. Seriously though, if you want proof of just how amazing she is.. think about this. How did she come out with the best performance at the VMA's over Beyonce's baby bump rubbing, Jay-z & Kanye's surprise performance with pyrotechnics and Lil Wayne's memorable antics? She topped all those people with just a dim light and a piano man. That my dear, is TALENT!

In this month's British Vogue, the gorgeous Adele opens up about her unique pre-performance ritual, single life and her opinion on the industry's obsession with weight.

“I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I don’t want that in my life. I have insecurities, of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.”

Our next cover girl, Angelina Jolie (who I will forever call 'Evelyn Salt' because she was just so ~~bad ass~~ in that film) is on the cover of Vanity Fair's newest issue. Jolie dishes details about her family life with Brad Pitt, directing her new film, "In the Land of Blood and Honey" and her plans for the future!

The new film is set to hit theatres December 23rd.

Katy Perry is this month's covergirl for InStyle Magazine wearing a very pretty gray belted dress and cotton candy pink hair! Inside, the 26 year old singer talks about marriage, whether or not she is ready for children and her secret for getting her makeup done while on tour. I ♥ Katy Perry and can't wait to read.

Model Chanel Iman, among four other models all have covers for this month's Elle Magazine. Wearing a white Herve Legar swimsuit and Gucci miniskirt, Elle's 'bombshell' gives readers her definition of what a bombshell is:

“Any woman who has a positive attitude about herself and carries herself with class but doesn’t try too hard and say, ya know, ‘Hey, look at me, I’m a bombshell,’ is basically a bombshell. It’s just a woman with a positive, strong attitude who knows she has it going on.”

Flare Magazine, Canada's number one fashion mag has Frieda Pinto on their October 2011 issue. The 26 year old "Slumdog Millionaire" actress wears a fiery red ruffled dress by Giambattista Valli on the cover. Inside, Pinto shares with readers her relationship with boyfriend and "Slumdog Millionaire" co-star, how her life has changed in the past few years and her fashion style. When asked about her style on the Red Carpet, Pinto states:

“I look at it as fun. I think it’s terrifying if you’re trying to do something you’re not comfortable with, or trying to channel something you’re not. But if you’re just being true to the kind of clothes you wear, it’s fun.”

Controversial ~~rapstress~~ Kreayshawn can be seen on the cover of Complex Magazine which is a pretty big deal for the overnight "Gucci Gucci" musician. As much as people love to criticize Kreayshawn, they are just as interested in hearing her story. On October 4th when this month's issue hits news stands, questions will finally be answered. Opening up about everything from her beef with rappers The Game and Rick Ross, to going from youtube videos to a million dollar record deal with her rap group White Girl Mob, this is a spread you and I cannot miss out on!

You can catch Lady Gaga on the cover of Bazaar Magazine this month, but you may have to do a double take before realizing that it is in fact Gaga on the front cover. Wearing a very natural look with next to no makeup, Lady Gaga is shedding layers to show her softer side. Inside she reveals how she stays true to herself and talks body confidence. Gaga had this to say about body image and confidence:

“I’m very free-spirited. Even when I was a kid, I used to run around naked with the babysitter, driving her crazy. I do yoga, I do Bikram and I run, and I eat really healthy. You know, my work sort of feeds me. I keep in shape by working hard.”

Last but not least, our leading lady Michelle Obama is on the cover of this month's Essence Magazine rocking a very vibrant, floral of the shoulder dress. Doesn't our First Lady have the best style!? Definitely what I strive to be in my older years. Michelle Obama sends this message out to our youth:

SHOEICIDE: CELEBS IN WALTER STEIGER CURVED HEELS.

Hi everyone *jumps up waving*. Happy October! Finally! I can't wait until the leaves start to turn orange and I know that my days of sweating while sitting still are just a memory. I want to take a moment to welcome all of my new readers and visitors and also thank my consistent followers. I cherish every one of you and your endless support is my motivation!

Now that I'm done with my emotional ~~tirade~~, on to something more exciting! SHOES!

The one thing I love more than cute shoes are.. statement-making shoes! Walter Steiger's signature curved heel does just that and who doesn't love a shoe that makes you look twice?! Obviously, I'm not the only one loving these heels because they are popping up everywhere fast. So far, I've spotted these beauties on Kelly Rowland, Ashanti, Nicki Minaj and Kylie Jenner (who is growing up so quickly.. if she doesn't stop this quick, no one will believe I'm turning 21 for the ~~third time~~ haha).

TLC's "BIG SEXY".

If you have not yet started watching TLC's newest hit show, Big Sexy.. I have to ask, what in the world are you waiting for? The only thing I hate about this show is that I didn't come up with the idea myself.. I could be making lots of money right now haha. The show takes place in New York City and follows 5 ladies who are part of the fashion industry and love their curves. It's pretty refreshing to see a show on tv that doesn't talk about plus size women trying to lose weight (ie. One Big Happy Family, The Biggest Loser, Celebrity Fit Club). Not all curvy women want to be slim..healthy maybe, slim?! No; I'm just glad a show came around that embraces the plus size woman and showcases what life is like for us when it comes to dating, health, shopping, careers, etc. Producers of the show say:

“ Weight bias is notoriously rampant in their chosen industries, and it is their mission to prove that a bigger girl – the girl that most Americans can relate to — can break the mold and change the fashion and cultural norms that have restricted and rejected them for so long.”

The show comes on TLC every Tuesday at 10pm Eastern time. Tune in, you won't be disappointed!!

New York Fashion Week always brings out the stars. It was no surprise to me that Angela Simmons was on the scene; we all know she is a long time lover of fashion (can't wait for her line to drop.. NICKI MINAJ AT SPRING 2012 #NYFW: DEF OR DEF NOT?

Last week in NYC, September 8th to the 15th marked one of fashion's most glorious events, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2012. Designers from the likes of Michael Khors and Herves Leger, to Rebecca Minkoff (♥ her handbags), Betsey Johnson and Tory Burch (who made her Fashion Week runway show debut) showed off their latest designs. As expected, celebs were photoed out and about in their best, front row center at the event's shows. I'm sure we can all agree that the person who ~~stuck out~~ the most this week was *in unison* NICKI MINAJ

I don't hate this outfit.. minus the animal winter hat, and I might even love it if there was a change of shoes.

Nicki Minaj is most often found in the fashion worst column of most fashion mags and on Joan River's Fashion Police show on E! but sometimes I think she is just misunderstood. Now, don't get me wrong. This in no way means that I love all of her looks, as some of them are way over my head. I'm just saying, I understand. Nicki and artists like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have pretty much changed the game of how an artist is defined, taking it from an average person with talent to a completely animated character. With an alias of 'the Harajuku Barbie', how can Nicki Minaj NOT dress this way? Japanese Harajuku culture is all about bright colors, mismatching, dressing funky and pretty much doing what you want. So I'm saying... if Lady Gaga can dress up in raw meat and walk through central park with 24 inch latex heels and be called creative, why can't we cut Nicki Minaj some slack?!

There was a lot of buzz surrounding this outfit choice from Nicki Minaj for Carolina Herrera's spring runway show. Many speculate she copied from one of Jessica Rodger's pieces..the two pieces do have the same color concept and the puff ball stuff but it's clearly two different things. One is a top, the other is a dress. I'm taking Nicki's side on this one.

POLKA DOTS

Polka dots are a way to revive your attire with a youthful and fun upgrade! Not only can you go for the traditional size polka dot, but opting for big bold polka dots are also encouraged this season. Add one polka dot peice to a outfit of solids or accessorize with the print (ie. scarves, flats, or even stockings!) Although this print is funky and gives a youthful edge, you want to avoid looking ~~too juvenile~~ by sticking to traditional polka dot colors like black, navy blue and white.

*Don't be afraid to mix prints.. polka dots look especially hot with leopard! =]

MIDLENGTH DRESSES/SKIRTS

First it was mini length, then it was midi; well now midlength dresses and skirts are the must have item of the upcoming season. I know all the career girls have often found it hard to incorporate fashion trends into their office attire, but worry no more.. the fashion gods have answered your prayers. This fall's fashion trends feature so many items you can wear in and out the office. Stock up now girlies.. your time is NOW!

GEOMETRIC PRINTS

Coming back for the fall, geometric prints are candy for any eye. They create an interesting focal point, whether it be a subtle accent or explosion of cubic patterns.

HIGH SLITS

This fall is all about feeling sexy and feminine without showing ~~too much~~ and I think the high slit is a great way of doing just that. On a long dress or skirt this look is amazing, especially when the materials are bright and/or have some type of sheen. FUN!

PEPLUM

First of all, I have to see.. I have been a long time fan of peplum! Not only does it give awesome tummy control haha but is also sophisticated and gives off the appearance of a super sexy silhouette.

WATER MARBLE NAIL ART.

TWO nail posts in ONE day?!?! How ~~freaking~~ lucky are you guys! haha.

I came across this funky little nail design idea while at dinner with a friend a couple of months ago. My friend quickly went over the instructions for how it was to come out but truthfully.. after we ate and drank.. and drank some ~~more~~ haha, I completely forgot about the whole conversation. Well, today I was exploring some new blogs and came across Addicted to All Things Pretty who conveniently had step by step directions for how to achieve this look! EXCITING..I know! So here are the steps according to my new blog find:

Using Q-tips applied a thick layer of petroleum jelly around the nail, being careful not to get any on the nail.

Dropped small drops of (2 or more) nail colors. Since my nails were already polished I used 2 colors.

Using a toothpick I swirled the colors together in no particular order or pattern. I personally like the somewhat extreme variation of each pattern and variance of colors.

I dip each nail in the water and polish “mixture” but on a side that has mostly water, and pull my nail out catching the polish “mixture”. This step will make sense once you’re doing your nails lol.

Every few nails, I take a Q-tip dipped in nail polish remover to clean up the polish that covered my finger. The quicker the better because once it’s dry you’ll be upset you didn’t start your cleanup process sooner. The thick layer of petroleum really helps keeping from the polish from adhering to the skin.

I sealed the design by using Poshe topcoat. It really doesn’t take long to dry since you’re applying the thinnest amount of polish possible.

P.S. My friend did mention that it wastes a bit too much polish so you may want to limit this design to special occasions!

TRIPLE THREAT: HERVE LEGER BRIDGETTE BANDAGE DRESS.

Hey everyone! Are you as excited as I am that it was actually cool out today? Can you say BLAZER WEATHER! I can't wait for fall.. for two reasons: 1. The fashion.

I love getting September issues of fashion mags; they are soooo thick! ♥ 2. I don't have to ~~sweat~~ while sitting still anymore! cheers to that! haha.

If you're a ~~reality junkie~~ like I am ( shameful, I know but they're so damn juicy), then you were tuned into the Basketball Wives season 3 reunion last night. One of the main reasons I watch is not even for the drama but to see what the girls will be wearing. I noticed Evelyn Lozada was wearing the increasingly popular Herve Legar Bridgette Bandage Dress in silver.. which by the way retails for ~~$2,999.99~~ $999.99 (good luck with that haha). The dress is very sexy with miniature slits all over and keyhole cleavage at the top but not revealing too much as it ends just a bit over the knee.

Brandy (seen below) has a bit of a custom version of the dress, with long sleeves and no keyhole cleavage. If you're wondering about the black and white, Brandy wore this dress to do an alter ego photo shoot with the renowned Derek Blake. This is my favorite version of the dress!

Tika Sumpter, best known for her roles in The Game and Stomp the Yard 2 wore the dress while hosting the BET.com portion of the BET awards!

FASHION TRENDS MEN JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.

All my ladies can relate when I say, men just don't understand women's fashion. I, myself have been the butt of constant jokes at things I'm wearing by my boyfriend or guy friends when in all reality, I think I look ~~too hot to handle~~ haha! Here's a list of top fashions we ladies LOVE, but our guys ~~DESPISE~~:

ROMPERS

Okay, okay.. I know rompers can be a little pre-school and what not but, in a woman's defense, they're just so damn cute! I only put one on if I'm in a real good mood ( like roll around in grass on a sunny day type of mood). It brings out every girls playful side, so to all you men out there.. Don't be mad designers don't make them for you!

FUR VESTS

Not only do fur vests keep us warm, they bring edge to any kind of outfit; a night out or a casual day outing. Men however, just see it a big furry mess. If you ask me, I think in their heads they see it as an extra unnecessary layer of clothing.

HAREM PANTS

Ahh yes! Harem pants.. oh how I love thee haha. The most comfortable, fashionable piece there is.. aside from leggings (depending on how they're worn of course). Not only are they as comfy as pajamas, but you can also find them in all types of prints and patterns making it a go to fashion piece when you're looking for something self-expressive! Most men have a problem with these pants for two reasons: 1) They don't show off our curves. 2) I've been told they are "reminiscent of a soggy diaper." (OUCH!)

ANGELA SIMMONS' CLOTHING LINE PREVIEW: DEF OR DEF NOT?

You may recall back in February, Angela Simmons announcing that she was branching off from Pastry to create her own clothing line with the assistance of designer, Juan Vargas. The line, "Angela Renee" which is said to feature fitted and chic clothing is due to for a 2012 release. Last night Ms. Simmons tweeted a couple outfits from her line as a special treat and I have to say, I'm intrigued and want to see more. The first dress is subtle, yet classy and I love it. The second one is more of a 'freakum' style dress; the bright colors bring the funk and the black mesh side panel detailing give it a sexy edge. I can tell she used "Pastry" as an inspiration for this dress and it looks great. I'm sure with Juan Vargas by her side, "Angela Renee" will go far.
