I bought all the seasons of Boy Meets World. I used to be all about Topanga, but now I realize that she's got nothin on Kelly Kapowski. In the first season of BMW, Cory is sportin the Jordan 8s. Bugs Bunny edition. Like whoa. No wonder he got his own tv show. With shoes like that, only thing stoppin him is him.

Got some running shoes. I use them when I go running. Cuz that's what they're for. Not for walking to your next class. That's what Jordans are for. These shoes do not help me spit game better. Although I did name em "the hot mamas". Huh.

Every time I wear this shirt, people wanna be my friend. People cannot stop staring at it. If my head weren't so big, I'd probly feel uncomfortable. If you want a shirt like this, just lemme know. If you're not by me, I can ship it to you. The shirt costs 20 bucks, but if you make me laugh, you only gotta pay 18. It pays to be funny. Wait, it saves money to be funny?

I got these shoes. They're great. Not only do they make me walk cooler, joke better, and spit game more smoothly, but they're three different colors...all at once. In my room, they're grey. In the sun, they're turquoise. In class, they're blue with a little funk. I love a little funk.

Anziano Carter got these sent to him while he was on his mission. This was one of the very few times I've been jealous of anybody. I like them just a little more than the "Italian" shoes I got. Maybe I just need to hire a color consultant for all my purchases. Make sure I'm not getting a purple and pink shirt. Whoops.

I've had this entry written for a while, but I've been too embarrassed to post it. But since it's kinda funny, I guess I should.

I wear alot of Jordans. I think it's because growing up, any shoes that cost more than the normal Marshall's $25 were too expensive. Now that I think I have a little money, I spend too much on my Jordans. Meh, what are you gonna do? What are you gonna do. So when I went back to Dallas for the first week of school (stickin it to the man), I made sure I went shopping at malls that had more variety than plain Provo. I wish there were a House of Hoops around here. In SLC at least. Sadly, I did not buy any new shoes in Dallas. However, I did get some shirts. Boy, did I ever. With this Jordan shirt, I feel like entered a parasitic relationship. One of those difficult interracial relationships, if you know what I'm sayin.
The punk at House of Hoops in the Town East mall forgot to take off the security tag. So now I cant wear my shoe shirt. I don't even have the receipt. N even though I'm pretty sure I could talk the people at foot locker into takin it off for me, I'm too embarrassed to take it in. I love my pride. Maybe that's why I'm still single? Huh.
I looked up a whole bunch of videos on youtube about how to take it off, but I cant find the same one as mine. I say "mine" like it's something I'm proud to have. Get that outta here. I was gonna just pry it off n not care what happens to the shirt, but as I started pullin on it, I realized I liked the shirt too much to take that kind of a risk. So for now, it's just hangin out in my closet. All locked up. Poor guy.

Shoe deprived

I'm not a girl. I just have a difficult time figuring out what to wear. Often, I feel like I don't have any shoes to go with what I'm wearin. So I just stand there for a while lookin at some of the shoes I have n then get discouraged n go eat hot cheetos. I haven't had somebody I trust enough help me update my Colorblind-Proof Wardrobe Selector Chart, so I dunno if certain shoes go with certain outfits yet. I'm gradually figuring it out myself by peoples' comments. "You look nice" is always better than, "Did the lightbulb burn out in your room this morning?"

I was walkin around the Wilk the other day n guess what I saw? My childhood. Walkin around like they were still in. LA Gears. Dang. It's been a minute since I've seen a pair of those. I might have to go back to the 90s n get me a pair. The pair that light up when you walk. It's good to know that not everybody around here is wearing dorky shoes. Like when I saw a guy n a girl wearing matching red shoes. Whoops. Gettin dressed from the wrong closet. Time to come out

Scarpe italiane

I served my mission in Milan, Italy. Fashion capital of the world. Before I went there, I thought that title was just a bunch of nonsense. When I got there, however, I was blown away by how true it was. So many clothing stores, so many designer names, so many underground outlet stores, so many stores where an appointment was required JUST to step inside, and so many beautiful models walking around like they were just normal people. They were hardly ever seriously interested in the message we had to share, but would agree to see us again so we could share that message. For some reason they were always drastically less interested when the Sisters would show up at their door. It must have been my Salvatore Ferragamo's that got them interested.
Italy was great. I appreciate the Italians and all the food they fed me. I had the BEST lasagna ever one Christmas. Even though I knew there were still 8 courses or so before the meal was over, I ate 3 Beto's sized pieces. The American dream is nothing compared to the meal I experienced that day. I will tell my grandchildren about that meal. You should too.
Afer being home for a little bit, I was fortunate enough to find a pair of shoes that reminded me of my time in Italy and that ridiculous meal. I found these shoes on ebay and bought them instantly. I was gonna be on top of the world rockin these shoes. The morning after they came, it was extremely easy to wake up for work. I put em on, rubbed em for good luck, n I was off! Everybody I passed on the way to work seemed so poorly dressed. I got to work n I was so excited to be there. When my co-worker came in, she noticed that I was awake for once n asked why.
"Let's just say, out of all the designer names out there, these shoes are the nicest Italian shoes you'll ever see."
"You're kidding, right?"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Don't let your jealousy get the best of you!"
"Oh my gosh! Those aren't the Italian colors! That's the French flag!
"...Oh. Dang."
"Wait, aren't you colorblind?!"
I left work early that day. Haven't worn those shoes again. I have never been so embarrassed as a result of being colorblind. I felt so stupid. Even more than when I was so excited the whole week to cook Sunday dinner. I was gonna make my favorite; chicken enchiladas with green sauce. It wasn't until I was pouring the sauce that my friend asked me why I got red sauce instead. I hate food! I hate colors! And I especially don't like it when people find out I'm colorblind n then proceed to quiz me on every single color in the room. Real funny, people. Real funny. A blue phone is close enough to a purple phone! And who has a purple phone, anyway??

Talented Kicks

I'm from Dallas. I can vividly remember one time while I was in high school in Dallas, Kid A accidentally stepped on Kid B's shoes n Kid A got beat up by Kid B, C and D. Security Guard M broke up the fight but didn't reprimand Kid B,C, or D because "You can't be scuffin a fresh pair of J's!"
When I lived in southern California for a little bit, if some kid would show up with some new shoes, it was expected that all the stupid kids would step on them. Ooh if only I had Kid B, C and D with me.
Right now I'm going to BYU and the shoe of preference seems to be some New Balances tied way too tight. Like they goin runnin or sumn. I think they took "be prepared" a little too literally. When are you ever gonna have to run a marathon at a moment's notice? Dweebs.
