Kayak Trash clean-up

2013-11-18T16:28:00.000-08:00

Saturday morning a few of the EASL members went down to Weedon Island Preserve and cleaned up trash found on the mangrove islands. This trash was either dumped their by partiers or washed ashore from the high tides and storm surges. We found everything ranging from tennis balls to baby dolls to huge pieces of glass. Overall it was an awesome morning to get on the water, get a little workout in, and meet some new friends. And I brought home an, what i believe to be, armadillo skull to add to the collection.

After a long, cleansing vacation, i got to look at all of the photos i had taken. After being urged to take more pictures than i thought was annoying to have my buddy stand for, i only got a couple keepers. But, all that counts is we ate well that night and i ended up with a decent photo. Nice shot Ejazzle.

RED BULL WAKE OPEN

2013-07-07T17:58:00.000-07:00

The Red Bull Wake Open was this past weekend in downtown Tampa. Literally everyone whose anyone was there and it was awesome seeing everyone ride. I would have loved to see the boat portion of the comp, but i cant complain. Friday was super overcast so i dont have many picture from the HUGE 30 ft. gap everyone was hitting. The weather cooperated a little more on Saturday for the park portion, so most of these pics are from that. But overall, the weekend was filled with a ton of red bull, awesome riding, amazing fans, and of course your fair share of bikinis. Enjoy! Sorry about the differences in lightness, blogger kinda blows!!

Capturing one's personality through a photo is a hard task to accomplish given the viewer doesnt really know the subject. But, when you have friends with vibrant personalities that are hard not to display, it becomes a lot easier.

Also, having a flourishing relationship doesnt hurt when it comes to acting a fool and expressing yourself.

Thinking about and discussing this topic of course brought up other analytical theories leading to the conclusion; When in the presence of a known positive energy, one is able to obtain an otherwise unrealized level of comfort at which you are truly "you."

(stealing a line from an inspirational figure) And no one is more youer than you.

so harness this you-ness

and express yourself everyday in everyway!

Right before classes started back up, i went out to Colorado to get a little snowboarding in. Didnt take many photos, but here are a couple.

Getting everyone to stay still for a longer exposure, keep noise minimum, and "get the observatory in the background"... all pretty tough when trying to shoot by light of fire.

Thanksgiving break wind

2012-11-25T10:12:00.000-08:00

I went back to Jupiter for thanksgiving break to take a slight break from the study grind for my exams only to be met with three days of straight wind! I only got out on two of the days, one of which was too windy for me given i only had my 12 meter. So, I got to take some pics from the beach of a couple of my buddies. Enjoy.
