Baptism Card

I made this baptism card for someone at work. I had forgotten I had order some shimmery paper from Stampin Up and it came yesterday (I'm on vacation...Yippee). It was perfect for this card. Although the picture does not show how pretty it really did look.

Retirement Card

I made this card for a wonderful women who is retiring from where I work after 26 years of employment. She is Irish so you will understand why I made this card.

The caldron will say "Flo's Retirement Fund" . I didn't have clear labels so some women are work will add that for me since I am on vacation and will show up for the gathering later this week. Here are the dimensions:

I flocked his beard and used gold stickles on the coins.

The words "Lucky U" I punched from some letters I found in a paper stack. I inked around the letters.

Since she is Irish I printed off an Irish verse I found on the internet:

Flooding in Central Vermont

We are "somewhat" immuned to flooding in Vermont. It does happen here from time to time and year to year (not at all like other places in the United States). Many homes and camps along Lake Champlain have been battling a terrible spring because of a heavy winter snow and several days of rain (Lake Champlain broke it's record this spring at around 103 feet). However, last night the weather was so severe in Central Vermont. I have never witnessed such intense rain, wind, and hail. Torrando watches in the next town over; Montpelier, our capital, had flooded streets, paved streets in the Town of Barre are nothing but dirt roads and they have litterly crumbled, and homes so severely damaged. More bad weather is expected tonight for us!!

First Communion

Here is a card I made for my cousins daughter who made her First Communion today. She was just the cutest. The cross is from the 2010 Easter cartridge and it was cut at 2.1". I made the sentiment on my computer with Century Schoolbook font at 16 pt. and I added a couple of pearls. Very simple.

Baby Card

A man in our office is having his first child next month. We are having an office baby shower this week so I wanted to make a card. The letters came from the Nursey Rhymes cartridge. This is a 9.25" x 4" tall card. The letters were cut at 2.50" and the solid square behind the letters were cut at 2.75". The letters are under the monogram section of the booklet and the solid square is found on pg. 63. The label was My Pink Stamper's Sweet Baby stamp pack. There should be plenty of room for 10 people to sign.

Basketball Card

Our granddaughter has just finished a very successful year with her 6th grade basketball team. I wanted to make her a card to let her know what a great job she did. This is Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. I cut the person at 4" and the hoop at 4.50".

Graduation Card

It's that time of year for graduations. I made this from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. I cut everything at 4.25". The numbers were from the new American Alphabet cartridge that came with my E2. I believe those were cut at 1". Also I used Peacy Keen Stamps for the face, size medium.

A 70th Birthday Card for My Uncle

Hi Everone, Here is a card I made for my Uncle's 70th birthday back in March. This card was inspried because my uncle and my father (they're brothers) have what they call "Cowboy Coffee" in the mornings. The card is from the Old West cartridge. It's a S or Z fold card. I cut the coffee pot at 2.75", the cup at 2.25", the horse shoe at 1" and 1.50", and the banner was at 2.50".

Snow!!

2 1/2 feet of snow was dumped on us yesterday. I was so glad my work told us not to come in. Shoveled and shoveled. Now rain is expected and flooding. It's been a really hard winter in Vermont. Looking so forward to spring!!

Silhouette Card

I saw Linda on Paper Boutique do a card with a silhouette and I remembered that the Heritage cartridge had a few. This card had been started but I never finished it. So I used George and Basic Shapes to cut the ovals and the sentiment shapes. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Designers Choice. I used my Irock for the bling.

Child's Birthday Card

I love this dinosaur from Create a Critter. He was cut at 4" and I did 3 layers of different colors. I ran him through the cuddlebug using the Tiny Mosaic embossing folder. I inked around the card and over the embossing. I used a pair of scissors that are different designs to cut around the sentiment. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Simple Sentiments clear stamps.

Rosettes

Hi Everyone, I have learned how to make these great rosettes from The Paper Boutique blog. The paper is from American Crafts and the card is at 5 X 7. The cupcake is an extra one I had around so I'm sorry to say I don't know what the size is. The rosettes are very easy to make and Linda is an excellent instructor. Hi Everyone, This has been such a wonderful day off. I spent a couple of hours with my 92 year old grandmother. Then I came back home and made a couple of baby cards. No one I know having a baby, but thought it was good to have a couple on hand in case someone might need one. The paper I bought at T. J Maxx and it's from Anna Griffin. Great paper and so cute. The stamp was from My Pink Stamper, Family & Friends Stamps. The twine was from Pink Cricut. The cartridge was New Arrival. Hope you like it.

Here is a card from "Just Because" Cards Cartridge. Another great cartridge and a must have for Cricut users. Everything was cut at 4". I had my father in mind when I made this card. His birthday is in May. Between now and then I'm sure I will make many more with him in mind.

This card was made from the Birthday Bash cartridge. This is a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" card. The silly dog was cut at 3", however, I wish I had cut him out a little larger. The stamp was from Scrappy Moms.

Teenage Birthday Card

I have the hardest time making masculine cards. However, Edna, aka Pinky at Create with Expression, made this card and I thought it was so great for a teenage boy or a 20 something young man. She made it for her 21 year old nephew. This card is from my new Nifty Fifties cartridge. I am loving this cartridge. I bought it thinking I could make some nostalgic cards for my parents. However, anyone would love cards made from this cartridge. The guitar and notes were cut at 4 1/4". I used brads at the bottom and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms. A must have cartridge. You won't regret it.

A Card from Our Puppies to their Cousin

Here is a card I made from our dogs to my parents dog, Josie and my sister-in-law's dog, Bailey. It was my first time flocking on a card. You probably can't see it (its the black part of the dog), but it turned out great. This card is from Create A Critter. The dog was at 2 3/4", the dish was at 3/4", and the bones were at 1/2". The sentiment was from Scrappy Moms Love Notes. I really like her clear stamps.

Mary at cardztv made these note cards awhile back. We had a family reunion about a month ago and I thought it would be fun to make all of my women relatives a set of their own. I made 4 for each person and then made a purse from the Forever Young cartridge for the cards to go into. Everyone loved them!! I have even sold a few sets to people who received the note cards from a relative.
