Light Green & Gold Indian Bridal Look

Today I am going to create an easy and gorgeous Indian/bolywood bridal look. You only need 3 colors to create this look.

Things you need to create this look

1) Coastal Scents 120 color eyeshadow palette

2) Annabelle eyecolor creme *** You can use another gold color cream eyeshadow if you wish.

3) Balck eyeliner pencil

4)Black liquid eyeliner

5) Black maskara

How to create this look

1) Apply Annabelle gold creme color all over your eyelid.

2) Apply #1 color from Coastal scents 120 color eyeshadow paletter on your crease line as shown in the picture below.

3) Apply #2 color from Coastal Scents 120 color eyeshadow palette over the eyelid.

4) Apply # 3 color as a highlight color under your eyebrows as shown in the picture below

5) Create a thin line under your eye using #1 eyeshadow color from the Coastal scents 120 eyeshadow palette. Apply # 2 color on the inner corner of your eye.

6) Apply black eyeliner on the lash line and on the waterline under your eye.

7) Apply liquid eyeliner on the lash line. Apply black maskara to finish the look.

Turquoise and Pink Bollywood Bridal Look

Hi !

Today I decided to do another Indian bridal look. I saw in google.com that many Indian brides wear turquoise and pink color lehengas for their receptions. I haven't tried this look before, so I thought it's a good time to try as I have me 120 eyeshadow palette.

The things you need to create this look

1) E.L.F shimmering facial whip as the base color

2) Coastal Scents 120 eyeshadow palette. Colors are shown in the picture below.

3) Black eyeliner pencil

4) Black liquid eyeliner

5) Black maskara

6) Clean eyeshadow brushes

How to create this look

1) Apply ELF shimmering facial whip all over your eyelid as the base color.

2) Apply #1 color from the 120 eyeshadow palette and apply it on 2/3 of your eyelid starting from the inner corner of your eyelid.

3) Create a V shape on the outer corner using # 2 color from the 120 eyeshadow palette.

4) Apply # 2 color from the 120 eyeshadow palette on the empty space on the eyelid. Do not blend it with the pink because when turquoise and and pink mix together, it gives a funny color and you don't want that to be it on your eyelid.

5) Take #2 color and apply it on 2/3 of the crease line starting from the outer corner.

6) Take #3 color and apply it on the reste of the crease line starting from the inner corner.

7) Take #4 color from the 120 color eyeshadow paletter and apply it under your eyebrow.

8) Apply # 5 color as the highlight color. Apply it on top of #4 color also.

9) Apply # 1 color from the 120 color eyeshadow palette 1/2 of under the eye area starting from the inner corner and apply # 2 color from the 120 color eyeshadow palette on the other half.

10) Apply black eyeliner pencil on the water line and on the lashline.

11) Apply black liquid eyeliner on the lashline.

12) Apply black maskara to finish the look.

Magenta Indian bridal look

Hi girls !

Today I am going to do an indian bridal look. Indian brides use amazingly vibrant color bridal dresses, sarees and lehengas for their weddings, so they usually use very dramatic makeup looks on their wedding day.

I am dedicating this look for Sri Lankan girls who loves to wear Indian clothing for their engagements or going away functions.

The things you need to create this look

1) Coastal Scent 120 eyeshadow palette. ( You can buy this either on ebay or from Coastalscents.com). *** I hope you can read the numbers I drew using paint.

2) E.l.F Shimmering facial whip ( I bought this for 1$ from eyeslipsface.com)

3) Black eyeliner pencil

4) Black liquid eyeliner

5) Black maskara

How to create this look

1) Apply E.L.F Shimmering facial whip all over your eyelid. As this is a bridal makeup, we need the eye make up to last for a long time during the day.

2) Apply # 1 from the coastal scent 120 eyeshadow palette all over your eyelid.

3) Apply # 2 eyeshadow on your crease starting from the inner corner of your eyelid to the end of the eyelid. Create a V shape on the corner of your eyelid as shown in the picture below.

4) Apply # 3 color on the crease starting from the middle of the crease to the end of the eyelid. Blend it well with #3 color.

5) Create a V shape one the outer corner of the eyelid as seen in the piture below and blend it well.

6) Apply #5 color as a high light color. You can do this step before doing step 5.

7) Apply # 5 color eyeshadow on inner corners of the eyes and apply # 2 color eyeshadow under the eye.

8) Apply black eyeliner pencil on the lash line and on the waterline. Make sure it is a thin line.

9) Apply black liquid eyeliner on the lash line on top of black pencil line.

10) Apply black maskara to finish the look.

My birthday gift 1

Hi all !

Today I am going to show you girls what my husband gave me for my birthday. It is not the full gift... reste is on the way ;). I guess I 'll recieve the reste on my actual birthday in few weeks.

My husband got this from ebay.com . There are 120 colors and those colors are amazing. There are lot of vibrant bollywood colors ,the ones Indian brides and actresses mostly use. It's well pigmented and easy to blend. I honestly love it. Thanks baby.

All the ingredients used to make this eyeshadows are written on the back of the cardboard case.

This is the first palatte.

Second palatte stays under the first palette. To see the second paltte, you got to pull the red ribbon up.

Shimmery Maroon look

This look is really easy to create. This look is good for a night function.

The things you need to create this look

1) E.l.f shimmering facial whip
2) Prismique lustre 14
3) Coastal Scents neutral palatte
4) Black eye liner pencil
5) Black mascara

How to create this look

1) Apply e.l.f shimmering facial whip over your eyelid. Make sure you apply it evenly.

2) Apply prismique lustre 14 over your eyelid.

3) Apply the top color in the right hand corner of coastal scent neutral eye shadow palette on the crease and create a V shape in the outer corner. Blend it well with the prismique lustre 14.

4) Apply highlight color between your eyebrow and the crease.

5) Apply black eyeliner pencil under your eye.

6) To finish the look apply mascara.

Black & Gold look

Today I am going to do a black & gold look. This is a look you can wear with a black outfit. It is good for a night function.

The things you need to create this look

I used mac products, but you can use any other brand as far as it gives the color you need.

1) Black eyeshadow

2) Black shimmery eye shadow

3) Gold pigment

4) gold eye shadows ( dark gold and light gold)

5) White eye shadow for highlighter. Coastal Scent neutral eye shadow palette is really good for this.

6) Eye shadow brushes

7) Black eyeliner pencil and black liquid eye liner

8) Black maskara

How to create this look

1) Apply black eye shadow over your eyelid as a base color.

2) Apply white eye shadow as a highlight color under your eyebrow.

3) Apply gold pigment over your black eyeshadow base.

4) Apply light gold color on the crease line and blend it well with the gold pigment and the highlight color.

5) Apply black shimmery eyeshadow on the outer corner of your eye lid. It covers half of ur eyelid.
6) Apply gold and black eye shadow under your eyes as seen in the picture.

7) Apply black eyeliner pencil under your eyes and on the lash line.

8) Apply black maskara to finish the look.

Blue Look for Sri Lankan peacock dance

Sri Lankan dancers use dramatic makeup for Sri Lankan dances. This is my creation for Sri Lankan peacock dance. I used MAC eyeshadow to create this look. When you creat this look, make sure you get the correct blue which matches your costume.

Things you need to create this look

1) Black eyeshadow

2)3 different color blue eyeshadow (light, medium, dark)

3)Gray eyeshadow

4) Black eyebrow pencil to fix the eyebrow shape

5) Black eyeliner pencil

6) Black liquid eyeliner

7) Maskara

How to create this look

1) Apply black eyeshadow over your eyelid.

2) Apply dark blue eyeshadow on black eyeshadow.

3) Create the shape with medium blue eyeshadow as shown in the picture.

4) Apply gray or silver eyeshadow to the first part of under eyebrow and apply light blue to the second part of under eyebrow.

5) Apply light blue on already applied gray or silver eye shadow. Blend it well with already applied light blue eyeshadow.

6) Using the black eyeliner for this look is quite harder. I did it in 5 steps. Just follow the following pictures.

7) Apply black maskara to finish the look. Don't forget to fix your eyebrows.

3) Apply purple eyeshdaow on the crease and create a v shape on the outer corner of the eye.

4) Apply black eyeshadow on the purple and blend it well.

5) Apply high light color under your eyebrow.

6) Create a thin line under your eye using the pink eyeshadow.

7) Apply black eyeliner on the lash line and under your eye.

8) Apply masakara to finish the look.

Neutral Look

Today I am going to create this neutral look. I used an inexpensive eyeshadow palette to create this look. You can wear this look for school and even for work.

The things you need to create this look

1) Coastal Scent Neutral eyeshadow palette

3) Black eyelienr pencil

4)Maskara

How to create this look

*** All the colors I used are shown in the pictures

1) Apply this color over your lid. Make sure it is even.

2) Apply this color on the crease.

3) Apply this dark brown color over the eyeshadow that you applied on the crease.

4) Use a cotton bud to create a sharp line from the corner of the eye to the corner of the eyebrow. Some girls do use a tape before applying the eyeshadow to create this, but I don't find it healthy for the skin. You can add a little water or makeup remover to the cotton bud if you want it to be smooth.

5) Apply high light color under your eyebrow.

6) Create a black thin line on the lash line using black eyeliner pencil.

7) Create a thin black line using black eyeliner pencil.

8) Use maskara to finish the look.

Dark Purple & Pink Look

Today I am going to create this dark purple and pink look. This is also good for a night function. If you want to create this look, I suggest that you apply your foundation after doing the eyemakeup. It is a dark color, therefore it spreads every where.

The things you need to create this look

1) MAC dark purple eyeshadow
2)MAC dark purple pigment
3) MAC pink eye shadow
4) Coastal Scent neutral palette (white). You can replace that by MAC vanilla
5)MAC black eyeshadow
6)Black eyeliner pencil
7)Black maskara

How to create this look

1) Apply dark purple eyeshadow over your eyelid and the crease.

2) Apply purple pigment on top of purple eyeshadow on the eyelid.

3) Apply pink eye shadow on the crease and make a V shape in the outer corner of the eye.

4) Apply black eyeshadow on the crese and make a V shape in the outer corner. Blend it well with the pink.
5) Apply highlight color under your eyebrow.

6) Apply dark purple eyeshadow under your eye.

7) Create a black line on the lashline using black eyeliner and make a line under your eye as well.

8) Apply maskara to finish the look.

***Remove the purple color on the face by using a makeup remover before applying foundation.

Silver Eye Make-Up Look

Hi all !

Today I am going to do a silver eye makeup look. This look is good for a night function.

Things you need to create this look

1) MAC silver color eye shadow

2) MAC silver pigment

3) Mac Black eye shadow

4) Coastal Scent neutral eye shadow palette( I used white as the high light color.)

5) Eye shadow brushes

4) Black Eye liner pencil

5) Black liquid eyeliner

6)Masakara

How to create this look

1) Apply MAC silver eyeshadow over your eyelid. Make sure it is even.

2) Take larger eye shadow brush and dap the silver pigment on the eye lid. Do it slowly.

3) Apply black eyeshadow in the outer corner of the eyelid as seen in the picture below. Take the same brush and go through the crease slowly. You don't have to get more black eyeshadow to do it. Whatever left in the brush is enough.

4) Apply the high light color under your eyebrow.

5) Draw a thin line on the lash line using black eyeliner pencil. Make another line on the black pencil line using black liquid eyeliner.

6) Draw a thin line under your eye using black eyeliner pencil.

7) To finish the look, apply maskara.

How to create this look

1) Apply gold eyeshadow over your eyelid and the crease.

2) Dap the gold pigment over your eyelid. Do not apply it on the crease. Dap it slowly to reduce the pigment falling.

3) Apply light brown color on the crease.

4) Take the dark brown color and apply it to the corner of your eyelid in a V shape. Blend it well with the gold color.

5) Apply gold eye shadow under your eye.

6) Apply the highlight color under your eyebrows.

7) Apply black eyeliner on the crease line and under eye.

8) Apply maskara to finish the look.

Wedding favor boxes are really inexpensive and very easy to make. Also, some people use wedding favor boxes as their wedding centerpiece. You just need some thick papers and ribbon to decorate. I got this sample from google.com to show you how to make it, but you can play around it to get the actual size you wnat your favor box to be. Then you can decorate the boxes with the ribons. There are so many ways to decorate it and you can come up with one by your self.

Making wedding favor bags at home is an easy and good way to save money ( Specially if you are in tight budget). Favor bags are really lovely and reusable. You just have to buy a nice color fabric which goes with your wedding theme and sew the favor bags at home. If you have a sewing machine, it is rather easier to make than by hands.

Another thing comes to mind is what am I going to place in these bags... Why not home made cookies or Jelly beans ? Chocolets are not a must. My wedding is next year and I am planning to place wedding cake pieces in the favor bags.

Sorry I couldn't do anything yesterday. I was feeling little sick. Here is the look I am going to do today.

The things you need to create this look.

1) Mac C.R.E.A.M eye shadow palette ( dark blue, light blue & black)

2) Mac light silver color ( Ofcause you can use any other silver color as high light color). This silver looks like another color in the picture. It is because of a lighting problem in my room. Sorry ;)

3) Balck eyeliner pencil

4) Maskara

5) Clean eyeshadow brush

How to create this look

1) Apply light blue eye shadow all over your eye lid. Make sure it is even.

2) Apply dark blue eye shadow on the crease and on 1/4 of your eye lid from the crease. Make sure that the dark blue color is not a harsh line.

3)Apply silver under your eyebrows as a high light color. I know I keep repeating this all the time, but you must make sure it is even.

4) Take your black eye shadow and draw a V on the corner of your eye lid and blend it with the light blue.

5) Apply the same light blue color under your eyes.

6) Apply balck eye lner pencil on the lash line and under your eye. For the lash line you can also use a liquid eyeliner.

7) To finish the look, apply black maskara.

Tresemme shampoo and conditioner review

I started using Tresemme shampoo 3 weeks ago and I started to love it. I did permenant curls for half of my hair 1 month ago and my hair started to get in to tangles often. After I started using this shampoo and conditioner for curl hair, it just doesn't get in to tangles much. Isn't that awsom ? The condition makes my hair look healthy and smooth.

Lime & Lemon Centrepiece

This is an idea to make an inexpensive yet elegant centrepiece. It only take less that 10 minuts to finish creating this decoration.

The things you need to create this easy centrepiece

1) Some lime

2) Some lemon

3) A clear glass vase

4) Few small white candles

How to do it...

Get the clean clear glass vase and add the limes and lemons randomly. Keep it in the middle of the table. Keep the small white candles around the glass vase and light it when needed.

Saree Blouse Designs

Today I decided to share some of my saree blouse designs with you. My husband bought me quite alot of designer sarees and these are my favorit blouses.

This is a perfect design for a girl who wears Kandian style saree. The round neck and the short sleeves specifically "Borichchi" are the two traditional characteristics of Kandian style blouse . I asked my dressmaker to make the bottom half in an oval shape as I wanted to cover the fat I have on my tommy :) .

This is the back side of the same blouse. My dressmaker used the hand work design for botom part as it's quite the new style right now in Sri Lanka. Deep neck gives an extra elegant look

This is a designer blouse. This slight V shape neck gives a cute look to the blouse. This gold color highlights the aqua color and it gives a rich look to the blouse. This is most suitable for a young girl.

This is another designer blouse. The frill gives a young girly look to the blouse. This type of neck line gives elegance to the blouse. I wore this once and I got so many compliments from many people.

This blouse it pretty simple. Short sleeves gives a thin look to the person who wears it. My dress maker said if we use this neck line for the front side of the blouse, we must use the back neck line as seen in the picture below.

I love this knot in the back. It gives a special look to the blouse... don't you think ?
