Gainesville Marina appears to be having a boat sale and there is a nice inventory of sporty looking boats. The Four Winns boats look really good.

It also appears that they are continuing to expand their number of wetslips.

Lake Lanier fishing guide Bill Carson reports that the Stripers are biting. He caught two very nice ones in a contest last week following the Atlanta Boat Show.

Last weekend you could see many fishing boats working the channels around Thompson Bridge in Gainesville.
