The Sword of Totsuka, also known as the Sakegari Longsword (酒刈太刀, Sakegari no Tachi; Literally meaning "Sake Cutter Longsword"), is a variant of the Sword of Kusanagi. It is sheathed in a sake jar; the blade is actually the liquid inside the gourd that is released and shaped, rather than a conventional sword. It is an ethereal weapon with an enchanted blade capable of sealing anything it pierces. Those who are stabbed by the sword are drawn into the jar and trapped in a genjutsu-like "world of drunken dreams" for all eternity; by extension, Itachi also managed to remove the Cursed Seal of Heaven from Sasuke by stabbing and removing Orochimaru from Sasuke's body. It can also cut through objects like a normal blade, thereby giving the wielder great versatility in his attacks. Orochimaru sought the sword for all his life and Zetsu commented that he could never find it.

Hyourinmaru

Hyōrinmaru ("Ice Ring") When sealed, Hyōrinmaru looks like a normal katana with the exception of the guard, which is in the shape of a four-pointed bronze-colored star. Its hilt is light blue and sheath dark blue. The sheath completely dissolves when he draws his sword. The sword is somewhat longer than most Zanpakutō, at about 1.4 meters long, making it taller than Hitsugaya, preventing him from wearing it at the hip. Instead he carries it on his back by his green sash over his right shoulder. Hitsugaya is one of four people that carry a Zanpakutō on their back, the others being Ichigo Kurosaki, Love Aikawa, and Hiyori Sarugaki.

Hyōrinmaru is the strongest of all ice-element Zanpakutō in Soul Society. As such, Hitsugaya doesn't need water to be present in order for him to use its abilities. Hitsugaya's control over Hyōrinmaru's power has been shown great enough to use any of its Bankai attacks (with less control) with Shikai

The spirit of Hyōrinmaru is that of a gigantic, ice blue, serpentine ice dragon with large wings and an echoing voice. Hitsugaya has had a close connection to his blade since first awakening his Shinigami powers. Before Tōshirō began training to control his Shinigami powers and leaking reiatsu, Hyōrinmaru would constantly appear in his dreams in an icy landscape (most likely Tōshirō's inner world) and call out to him, although Tōshirō was still not able to hear him. Hitsugaya inner world is seen as an icy landscape easily accessible to him as he enters into a meditative state.

It is a very large sword; made of an unbreakable metal, it is made to be used for a variety of purposes. The sword is about 7 and a half feet long from the tip of the blade to the pommel of the handle. The blade is quite broad and thick; it tapers to a backwards curving point at the very top of the blade. There is a hole cut in the top of the sword as well; this can be used for a variety of purposes and is broad enough to fit around a skull. The sword has a notch cut out a bit above the hilt as well; this is used to pin other weapons or for a close range beheading. Lastly, the handle is quite long. This makes it easy to change one's grip onthe sword, and balance it as one swings. The sword's special ability is somewhat the reverse of Samehada's. Rather than steal chakra, Zabuza can store chakra within the blade and/or flow his chakra through it. This allows the sword to act somewhat like the Fist Of Rukt; it develops a gravity field around it that, when swung, if the blade does not connect, can push the enemy or what Zabuza is blocking back a bit. It also allows for more movement in sword fighting, as Zabuza is able to push an enemy sword away. This does not cause any damage, and can come in handy for nonlethal attacks. It should be noted that this field is not always active; Zabuza turns it on and off as necessary. Zabimaru

Zabimaru is Renji abarai zanpakutō which appear on Anime Bleach. Zabimaru is a nue (a baboon with a snake tail), hence his name. Zabimaru's spirit is portrayed as battle-loving and proud, similar in personality to Renji. Both the snake and baboon are capable of speaking, though the baboon is usually the more dominant one. They also have a type of human form, where the baboon is a large breasted woman, and the snake is a young kid. Both are connected by a chain from the child's collar to the woman's waist, though their relation is shaky at best.
Zabimaru's bankai is Hihiō Zabimaru and transforms Zabimaru into a massive version of its shikai form resembling a skeletal snake. Unlike its shikai, Zabimaru's segments are held together by Renji's spiritual power, allowing him to separate and reattach them at will. Even if a segment is damaged, Renji can simply detach it and reform Zabimaru. Zabimaru itself, in bankai form, does not literally "cut", Renji usually catches his opponent with the snake-head of his weapon and smashes his opponent into the ground with it. Zabimaru also gains a special technique known as hikōtsu taihō after Renji becomes more adept with using his bankai. The technique fires a dense blast of spiritual energy from Zabimaru's mouth. It is an original weapon, a fusion of the Sword and Gun, thus the name "Gunblade" this weapons work as both a gun and a blade, although this seem to be more of a gun with blades on them, rather than a sword with a firing mechanism.

In Dissidia Final Fantasy, Squall Leonhart's use of the Revolver is refined beyond the normal slashes seen in Final Fantasy VIII, incorporating the use of the gunblade's recoil for a unique combat style. Using the Heel Crush and Rough Divide techniques, Squall triggers a round while holding the Gunblade behind him, the recoil quickly pushing him forward. Using the Solid Barrel and Beat Fang techniques, Squall thrusts the blade into the enemy, only to trigger a round (which also damages the enemy), the recoil of the shot pushes the blade back, where Squall immediately thrusts again, repeating the process several more times.The firing of the Gunblade's rounds induced a tremor in the blade, causing it to deal additional damage to whatever it struck.

The Black Sword Kokutou Yoru, the strongest Sword which wielded by the strongest swordman in One Piece world (because the most strongest sword is Masamune and the coolest Swordmaster in the world is Sephiroth^_^)It's an ornately decorated, man-sized (6 feet) sword shaped like a cross with a shiny black blade, which is curved at the end. It also seems to generate otherworldly purple streaks as it slices, as seen when he cut down Zoro and when he split Don Krieg's ship in half. Yet as well as having the ability to use it to slice up entire fleets of ships, he is graceful with the blade enough to knock bullets and change their course with little effort.

The cross pendant worn on his neck is actually a small dagger. Though it appears to have no value, in the hands of Mihawk, it was able to defeat Zoro with the slightest bit of pressure, and was able to stab close to his heart.

He's able to attack enemies with powerful slashes made of a huge stream of energy or compressed air (it's unknown yet) like they were giant projectiles, like Zoro's Pound Hou techniques or the different variations of Rokushiki's Rankyaku.

Sode no Shirayuki

Sode no Shirayuki is a zanpakutou ice element named . In normal circumstances, this sword shaped like a regular katana in general. Zoro is a master swordsman, being able to use one, two, and three swords in varying attack styles, going from melee-type all the way to artillery. Although he is most comfortable with his Santōryū (literally: three sword style), his skills with a single sword are very good, being able to hold off the Nyaban brothers, having bested several of the lower-ranked members of Arlong's crew (his two other swords were destroyed by Mihawk, leaving him only with the Wado Ichimonji), defeating Mr. 1, and most recently the zombie, Ryuuma. Lacking a third hand for a third sword, Zoro holds his third sword in his mouth.Zoro till nowadays has alreday used 6 swords:
Wado Ichimonji The One Road of Harmony, sometimes called "Ghost". It has a white hilt and scabbard and is the smallest of Zoro's swords, the one he places in his mouth for attacking. It was Kuina's sword.

Sandai Kitetsu - Third Generation Demon-Splitter. Sandai is a cursed Wazamono sword, its previous owners all having met with a horrible fate. It has a red hilt and red scabbard with gold trim. Zoro has said that this sword is a "problem child" and doesn't "obey" him like the others do sometimes.

Shuusui - Clear Autumn Water. This is another one of the world's 21 legendary swords, an O-wazamono. The hilt and scabbard are jet black. The character he won the sword from is named "Ryuma". This is noteworthy because Monsters was an early Oda story created prior to the start of One Piece. In it, a samurai named Ryuma from a world similar to Japan killed a dragon terrorizing the people...with a sword similiar to this one.

Previous Katana

Zoro has presumably destroyed countless swords (all except Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu). He will sometimes use whatever swords he can find in a battle, grabbing a marine officer's cutlass or fallen enemy's katana to finish a fight if one of his has broken or he doesn't have his own weapons on hand.

Nose Storm - Zoro made Sogeking into his sword at one point when they were chained together with sea stone cuffs. He gave a sword to Sogeking and told him to be still while he swung him as the katana.

Yubashiri - Snow RunSomewhat amusing name because the sheath was black (with gold trim). Some single-panel marine with a rust fruit completely destroyed this sword during the Buster Call. It was a terrific blow to him as he had been given it for free by Ippon-Matsu and it was a Wazamono like Sandai Kitetsu. He carried the hilt with him until he won Shuusui from Ryuuma.
Wazamono Swords

Japanese swords have long been noted for their sharpness (wazamono, "the swords which cut well"). This was judged by testing the cutting ability of the sword on bodies of condemned criminals (tests were made on older men or strong, fit men to see how well the blade would cut). The practice of test cutting is called tameshigiri. The bodies were mounted on a cutting stand and specific slices were made, the executioners carefully recording the data for reference. The sword was judged on how many bodies were severed with each type of cut, the parts of the subjects being ranked with areas that were harder to cut than others. The Yamada family were noted as testers of the blades and compiled one of the lists ( that one here as it is the most frequently used).

Covered in a simple black scabbard, it is carried on the left side of his body for easy and swift action. A blue jewel adorns the tip of the hilt, and the cross is angled forwards to both protect and give advantage by way of counter-strike towards his opponent's own weapon.

When Flik left the Warrior's Village on his journey for Manhood, his sword had not yet been named, as was tradition. The Star Dragon Sword is a weapon and physical incarnation of the Night Rune appearing in Suikoden I, Suikoden II and Suikoden III. A cocky being who transformed into a sword following severing its bonds with the Sun Rune, the sword was wielded by Viktor for a while before being given to Edge.

the Star Dragon Sword is actually one of the 27 True Runes. It was born into the world with its existence heavily intertwined with the Sun Rune; the two held a strong bond given their respective natures of controlling darkness and light. However, the Night Rune grew annoyed by the dazzling brilliance of the Sun Rune; rather than stay in tandem with it, the Night Rune severed its bonds, transforming itself into sword, and went off on its own.

During its time as a sword, it has become known as a legend, thanks to its effectiveness against vampires such as Aegia and Neclord. During the Toran Liberation War, Viktor awoke the sword from a long nap in order to use it against Neclord; the sword worked perfectly, destroying what was thought to have been the original Neclord. However, during the Dunan Unification War it was revealed this was a double, as the real Neclord appeared in Tinto during this time. Viktor, who had stashed the sword in the Cave of the Wind following the end of the Toran Liberation War, retrieved it, and with the help of Kahn Marley and Sierra Mikain, was able to finish off the vampire for good.

Zangetsu's spirit takes the form of a middle-aged man, voiced by Takayuki Sugo in the Japanese anime and by Richard Epcar in the English dub.Zangetsu is portrayed as wise and calm in most matters, and fond of testing Ichigo in unusual ways, many of which have a purpose completely contrary to the stated goal. Zangetsu's special ability is the Getsuga Tenshō ("pierce of heaven"), a wave of spirit particles released from his blade's edge.

Zangetsu's bankai, named Tensa Zangetsu shrinks the sword down to a fully black one while his uniform also changes to an outfit similar to Zangetsu's. Ichigo's bankai is a compression of his spiritual pressure, rather than a vast expansion as is usually the case. By compressing his power, Ichigo can move at incredibly high speeds, though the form puts tremendous strain on his body.

Rebellion

The Rebellion is the first sword seen used by Dante chronologically in Devil May Cry 3, passed down to him by his father Sparda. It plays the same as the other balanced DMC swords such as the Force Edge and Alastor.

When Dante goes after Vergil in DMC 3 Rebellion activates his Devil Trigger for the first time after Dante is giving a swift beating by his brother. It is a sword Dante becomes accustomed to as he uses many similiar weapons in the series, each complimenting Dante's cocky attitude.

Dante descends into the Demon world to stop Vergil (and Arkham to a lesser extent), pitting the Rebellion Vs Yamato once again. Eventually Vergil claims the Force Edge, Dante must stop his brother to prevent him using his own half of the Demon world amulet against him. Dante is successful in avenging his earlier defeat and showing the power of the human spirit. He then officially opens up Devil May Cry for business and retires Rebellion, choosing his father's Force Edge over it.

Tenseiga

The sword has a special property in that it cannot harm any living beings, which is ironic for a sword and for it's wielder Sesshoumaru. However its power lies in the fact that it can bring the recently dead back to life as well as healing the wounded. The literal translation of the kanji is "heavenly life fang" or "fang born out of heaven", but these are not necessarily accurate representations of the name's actual meaning.

Tenseiga allows a powerful wielder to see and slay the beings from the underworld, as well as bringing up to 100 beings back to life in one swing.

The Tenseiga was created by the swordsmith Totosai from a fang of the daiyokai the Inu no Taishou the father of InuYasha and Sesshomaru. The Tenseiga has the power to cut beings of the next world such as pall-bearers who that take away the souls of the dead, this allows the Tenseiga to revive the dead. Tenseiga can revive 100 people with one swing, the opposite of the Tessaiga's ablitiy to slay 100 yokai with one swing. After the dog lord's death Sesshomaru was left the Tenseiga.

Originally Sesshomaru did not wish to have Tenseiga, because it could not be used as a weapon and he began to search for his father's other sword the Tessaiga. However the Tessaiga was left to his younger brother InuYasha and had a barrier which prevented him from using it, forcing him to look for another weapon. Sesshomaru hated humans and this prevented him from being able to use Tenseiga. It wasn't until he showed compassion and sorrow for the human girl Rin, that he was able to use Tenseiga. Upon using it's power did Sesshomaru start to value the Tenseiga.

Tessaiga

Tessaiga (also known as Tetsusaiga) is a fictional sword in the anime and manga series InuYasha, wielded by half-human InuYasha.The kanji, directly translated, means "iron-crushing fang".

The swordsmith Totosai created the Tessaiga from a fang of the daiyokai the Inu no Taishou, the father of InuYasha and Sesshomaru. In its 'docile' form, the sword looks like a regular (and rather battered) katana. When wielded properly, it transforms into a weapon roughly the size of a car bumper that somewhat resembles a falchion. The Tessaiga will only transform if the user cares for humans and has yoki, this means that humans can never wield it because they do not possess yoki. The Tessaiga has the power to slay 100 demons in one swing by striking the Wind Scar, it also has the ablitiy to absorb the technique or skill of a strong yokai that is defeated with the sword.

in a confrontation with Goshinki, a detachment from Naraku, the Tessaiga was broken in half. The sword's creator Totosai was able to repair the Tessaiga, but in doing so he used one of InuYasha's fangs. The result is that Tessaiga now became dependent on the strength of InuYasha himself - making the weapon heavier and more difficult for InuYasha to wield. After much training, InuYasha learns how to use a greater power created from the convergence of multiple Wind Scar attacks (Kaze no Kizu) from a powerful opponent, that is known as Bakuryuuha.

Kisame himself has massive amounts of chakra, enough so that a clone created by the Akatsuki that held only 30% of his power contained an amount of chakra comparable to Naruto when using the Nine-Tails' chakra.

Signed works of Masamune are rare. The examples "Fudo Masamune", "Kyogoku Masamune", and "Daikoku Masamune" are accepted as his genuine works. Judging from his style, he was active from the late Kamakura period to the Nanboku-cho era.
