I've been getting caught up on blogs that I read and thinking that maybe I should post. But what to say? I don't even know what to use for a title.

You know, I've renamed my blog site to do with the fact I'm a truck driver, but haven't really talked about it yet. Maybe I could start there. Let's see.....

I've been driving now for over 4 years, all for the same company. My company was strictly an auto shift fleet. That kind of bummed me out. I've wanted to drive truck since I was a little kid and always imagined shifting through all the gears. And then BAM!!! Auto shift.

Now, people that have never driven an auto shift truck probably imagine something along the lines of a car style auto. It's not. It's actually a manual shift transmission, but it is computer shifted. The downfall is that you don't get the true experience of driving a truck and your stuck going through every gear up and every gear down. On most auto shift trucks anyway. My first one was a Volvo with a 12 speed auto shift and it would actually skip gears according to how fast the RPM's went up.

But our Freightliners are 10 speed Ultra-Shift and go through every gear.

Then one day I hear this rumor about my company buying 185 manual shift trucks and only giving them to trainers. Hmmm, I'm a trainer.... Sure enough, I got the call to pick one up. YAY ME!!!

Now, I've been nearly 4 years driving an auto shift, but I know how to drive a manual from a previous job and I drove one in trucker school. But the job was a decade ago and school was only a couple of weeks. One week in the truck.

It was embarrassing LOL.

I figured I had better take a week off from training so that I could get used to the truck before I tried to show a student how to drive one.. I'm pretty good at it now. But I do have to say, when I'm in traffic, I kind of miss the auto shift LOL..

I'm sure those that have seen our trucks have also noticed that we were a 100% dry van company. Well now we are starting to dabble in reefer units. I quickly got under one. Longer miles and I get more places than we do with a dry van. Plus the trailers are assigned to us. No drop and hooks, but I always have the same trailer. I'll actually spend the extra cash to wash my trailer now.

The other plus is that my company just started putting new logos on the new equipment. So both my truck and trailer are 2010 models with matching logos. After being with the old logos for so long, I think the new ones look GREAT!!

With only 51 trailers and 186 trucks (one older truck and trailer was relabeled) out of 2,000 trucks and over 5,000 trailers, I feel kind of special...

I sure am rambling on for someone with no clue what to talk about today LOL.

Above The Mat

So, it's been awhile since I've been around here...

Good news!!! Brooklyn is one step closer to having her ring and getting Above The Mat Wrestling off the ground. I know she likes to says it's all of us, but it's not. This is her baby. Don't get me wrong, I will enjoy the ride.

I've never been a fan of main stream wrestling (WWE), but I love the indies. The guys that come out and put on a show for nothing more than gas money and comradeship. I've made a lot of friends in the Michigan Indies (because I am the most famous NON-wrestler in the Michigan indies!) and enjoy watching them in that square circle.

So, my baby, Above The Mat, is getting a new twist. The reins are being turned over to Brooklyn to breathe new life into ATM. Make it famous yet again.

I'm sure we will still do radio shows, but they will be far and few between with the crew being spread out so far now. But wrestling will always bring them all together. And from time to time, you will see a table set up in the corner with me doing my technical thang, running around like a chicken gettin' it's feathers plucked by a 2 year old. Then, the next thing you know, your hearing those words yet again....

It's 6am out here in the North West mountains. I'm waiting for the sun to come and warm up the day. My wife called and woke me up, but I haven't called back yet. Not sure why. It probably has to do with the nightmares I have. I worry that she might get too lonely at home without me there.

That's the part that sucks about my job. Not being home. I took my job for a couple of reasons. First, because in Michigan, there just aren't any jobs. But mostly because I've always wanted to drive truck across the country. I love seeing all the sights and when I have time, I take back roads to break up the everyday boring highways. I love to see the scenery.

Then there is child support. My job has kept me out of trouble with the Michigan child support office and I'm finally getting caught up.

But, the longer I stay, the better the pay, the harder it is to find a job that will get me home more often while at the same time making the money I make. I'm to a point now that I can pay all the bills on my own without my wife working. The nature of the beast might put me behind a little, but it's never more than a week or two at most.

In just a couple of months I'll be at a point that I could take an entire month off and get paid for it. This summer, I'll be able to take a week off, drive to my daughter's graduation, then a little over a month later, take two more weeks off for our annual July 4th family get together at my house. And still have yet another week of paid vacation to use whenever.

I've never had this before in a job. I've had jobs long enough to do it, but they were jobs that didn't offer these kind of benefits. So to find a suitable replacement will be tough.

I was going to stay out after I finish with this student to take on another one. But I think I'm going to just take a couple days off. I need it. If my company would get me by the house once in a while, I would probably be much happier. But they don't. It's almost as if they purposely avoid South Carolina.

I think I'm going to push the issue after this trip to the east to get me by the house. I miss my family and could really use a hug from my wife. The kind of hug that reassures me that she misses me just as much.

On a happier note, I met my aunt Sue and my cousin Kim in Tacoma, WA yesterday. Sue and I had a great time and did a LOT of talking about family and life in general. She took me to lunch and I think we spent more time talking than eating.

She is Bill's sister. Bill, if you don't know, is the guy listed on my birth certificate. Growing up, the family I met were a bunch of hoodlums. I mean, there is another aunt that was great to visit when I was a kid, but I haven't seen her in years. (Mental note, visit aunt Madeline next time I'm in Port Huron.) It was refreshing to meet a couple more members of my family that I'm glad to call family.

I was really nervous at first, but Sue was quick to make me feel at ease. I can't wait to come back and take a day off work and meet the rest of the family.

Well, time to get off here and go pick up my load so I can start heading to Pennsylvania. From there, hopefully south so I can take a day at home.

It's early

So, I've been slowly working on our new Boston Terrier website. While working on it this morning, I got to thinking about a conversation with my wife yesterday.

She says that she seems to think that I'm more excited about our new adventure than she is. I don't seem to think so. I just want things done right if I'm going to be in agreement.

Jenny loves her Bostons. More than I do quite honestly. But they aren't bad dogs. And yes, I'll admit I was head over heals with our first one, Mater Bug. He was beautifully marked and loved to box. I think if he were here today, he would be in charge LOL...

Anyway, I want things done right with this new adventure. The problem is, things cost money. I want our dogs to all have a clean bill of health from our vet. I understand they were vet checked by their previous owners, but I want them checked out with our vet.

And my biggest worry is the smell in the house. I am in full agreement that the Bostons should be kept indoors and be pets rather than just animals that we own. I am NOT a fan of kennels. But I think I would be willing to go that route if my house starts to smell like one. There was a lot of money that has gone into remodeling our home.

I mean, it already needs carpets replaced because of two males (Rascal, our male Boston and Sarge, a mix) having pissing wars up until Sarge got fixed when Lily came into our home. And yes, that was a condition of mine also when it came to getting our first female... Sarge must loose his balls...

I just want things done right. I don't want to be considered a puppy mill. Our bitches will only be allowed to breed once a year. And unless previously agreed upon, all puppies MUST GO! Even if it means giving in on our price after a while. We have one right now that is lingering and I think Jenny is starting to get attached. It's time to start offering him at a lower price. Or maybe send him to my mom.... Her old dog is about to kick the bucket.

It kind of sucks being out here on the road and not at home where I could be getting the pen done outside and the doggy door put in so that the dogs can go out when they need or want to. But, I gotta pay the bills.

So, in conclusion... Am I more excited than her about our new adventure into breeding? I don't think so... But I do think I'm more concerned about the little things that need to be done to make sure it's done right.

And to be honest, I want to get into showing dogs too. Well, I want her to get into it. I'm a truck driver, no way I can do it. We have two bitches with championship bloodlines and looking at a new male that is sired and grandsired by champions.

If we are going to do this, we are going all the way. We will have a champion sire in our house within two years.

Dogs, dogs, and more dogs

So my wife and I decided to start breeding Boston Terriers. We both fell in love with the breed after getting our first one, Mater. I actually think I surprised her by supporting the idea. I kind of complain because we have quite a few dogs.

In our home, before a couple of days ago, we had 4 dogs. Mine, Zahara, a Lab/Chow mix. Then hers... Sarge, a pug, boston, and few other breeds mixed into one little dog... And there is Rascal and Lily, both CKC registered Bostons.

They just recently had their first litter of pups... All very healthy, playful, and sold LOL. You can follow one the little ones on his own blog by clicking here.

After recouping our cost for the vet care, both for Lily (prenatal care and after) and the puppies, we got to really checking into the Continental Kennel Club. Although respectful, they aren't much for shows. So we decided to take the rest of the money from the puppies and purchase TWO more dogs. Pebbles and Lady Bug (that makes 6).

Our intention was only one AKC female that we could breed. But they are sisters and we didn't want to split them up. Both have impressive pedigrees with many champion ancestors. Our intention is to breed them and keep one or two of the male pups to show.

We also decided that since we ended up with two more females, we will wait a year then breed Lily one more time. After that, she will be retired from breeding and just live out her life with us.

Pebbles and Lady Bug will become our breeders. With the pedigrees they have, we should have no problem keeping champions in the coming generations. They are both very well mannered dogs. But were both kept in outdoor kennels. I mean, they had a good life with their previous owners. A very large yard to run and comfy sleeping quarters at night. But now they are getting accustomed to becoming indoor dogs since we don't believe in outdoor pets.

They will be whelped in the house and never again kennel kept. I'm sure they will adjust just fine.

'Nigger,' 'Nigga' or Neither?

Why is it in this day and age that one culture may use it, but no others can....?

I posted a link to an interesting story titled the same as this post. Give it a read after reading this.

On the TV show, The View, the women had a debate. Even bringing one to tears. It made me think.

I am a white, middle aged, man. I'm not prejudice by any means. I will admit, there are some black people I just plain don't like. But on that note, there are some whites I don't like either.

If I were to use the word "nigga" or "nigger", I would be labeled a racist. But when the black family across the street use it, it's fine. I have a problem with this. I have a problem with it because in this day and age, most families that are not black try to teach their kids that it is NOT OK to use these words because they are mean. And then they go outside and a car drives by with a young black man driving playing his music so loud it can be heard for a city block using the word "nigga" or "nigger".

The black community tells us that they took the word back and made it their own, but when I use it in the exact same context they do, I'm labeled racist. When the black comics put down the white race, it's funny. But when a white comic does it toward the black race, he or she is labeled racist.

I'm tired of the double standard. I'm tired of my kids hearing music by a black artist they might like and if they sing the words to it, they get beat up for saying "nigga" or "nigger" after repeating the words a black artist sang.

I think this needs to end. Any race that is not of African decent can't use those words without being labeled racist even though they are using it in the same context as an African American.

It should either be wrong by every race to use the word or similar words or it should be ok for all races to use them. Plain and simple.

Obama does it again.

Now he's telling me that I should have to force my children to learn another language. More specifically, Spamish! And yes, I said Spamish. Why, because like junk mail, I'm being forced to put up with it.

Last time I checked, I live in America. The national language here is English. Well, the American version of it anyway. And yet, I'm forced to have to choose what language I want to hear something in.

Immigrants should be forced to learn the English language. No ifs, ands, or buts! It should be a requirement before getting their green cards or whatever it is they get now to prove they are legal citizens.

Then, on top of having to put up with people not willing to learn the language and our pussy government making it easy for them, I have Obama saying that my kids should be forced to learn Spamish. Fuck you Obama. Maybe I don't want my kids to learn that language. Maybe, my kids don't want to learn that language. Maybe, just maybe, they want to learn Italian or German. Or, just possibly they don't want to learn another language.

If you want your kids to learn Spamish, that is wonderful. Don't even think about forcing it down my kids throat. And if our pussy school district tries to force it down their throats unwillingly, I will fight it. Of coarse, our pussy court system will probably tell me I have to do it.

So thanks Obama, for keeping our free country not so free! You pussy!!

I have a problem with Obama's clean energy solution. I don't like it.

Oil is a fact of life and we are dependent on it. Would I like an oil free America, sure... But is it going to happen anytime soon like this dumbass thinks? NOPE!!!

His energy plan would ruin the beautiful views we have in America. The mountains would be littered with wind turbines and the deserts would be littered with solar panels. Millions of acres would be needed to solve our energy problem.

At the same time. McCain's plan wouldn't be as painful on us. Each nuclear power plant would only take up a few hundred acres per plant. His oil drilling plans would also not be an eye sore. Yes, his plan would still use 1000's of acres. But no where near the amount of land Obama's plan would destroy.

Now, one thing that will end up the same no matter who's plan is offshore drilling. Obama doesn't want and McCain does, but no closer to 50 miles to shore. So the result no matter who wins....

It amazes me how the liberals are so anti-drilling... They say it will destroy nature, but yet they want these oil free energy ideas that will consume more land than drilling ever would...

Obama says even if we did drill, we wouldn't see its effects for 5-10 years.... Ummm... So, if we use his ideas, it will take just as long for the full effect. At this point we should be thinking about the long term effect rather than the short term.... The short term has already been fucked....

OMG, for once I agree with Dick Morris.

Take the rock star away from the large stage and he's nothing.

Meaning, take Obama away from his large crowds with scripted speeches and he will fail.

He's afraid to leave his sweet spot. John McCain has challenged.... I'm sorry, invited Obama to town hall meetings and Obama is avoiding them. Why? Because he will get his ass whipped and he knows it. As long as he doesn't have to face McCain face to face he does very well.

But avoiding him will eventually hurt him in the end. People will start to see him as weak and unable to stand up for himself. And if he won't stand up for himself, how can he stand up for us as a nation?

On a personal note. I've been trying to decide if I am liberal or conservative. I'm finding out for sure that I am in the middle. I used to always vote democrat, but as I got older, I started to listen. Started to pay attention.

This year, although I don't agree with everything about John McCain, I think I'm going to vote for him. Obama hasn't given me a reason to vote for him. McCain works with both the left and right where I see Obama will only work with the very liberal.

Dick Morris, what a fucking idiot.

This man has a very deep hate for Hillary Clinton. A very deep hate. I'm sure it's because the Clinton's gave him the boot during the Bill years.

This man will literally make up stuff about her. Here are a couple of examples:

* He has said on Fox News that Hillary IS a supporter of the Black Panthers. He gathers this because she sat in the courtroom during their trial to find reasons for an appeal of their case. Now, at the time, she was a law student. She interned with the law office that defended the Black Panthers. Her orders from this law firm was to sit and find reasons to appeal. According to this Dick, this shows her as a supporter. He refused to consider the possibility that the law firm required her to do this as an intern.
* Next, he has said on Fox News that the reason she didn't concede to Obama was because she is waiting for him to mess up. Ok, that is a possibility. But he took it a step further by saying that she HAS private investigators on her lawyer's payroll to spy on him and dig up dirt. When challanged for proof, he just said that he KNEW she was doing it.

Now, in my opinion, Hillary is hanging out rather than conceding in order to be able to keep getting donors and pay off her 20+ million dollar debt.

Sure, she might want on his ticket and possibly is waiting for him to screw up yet again. But I'm betting it's more to do with paying off her debt that she can't handle without donors.

I'm in no way claiming she is innocent of anything. But it isn't anything crazy like this Dick seems to think.

It's been a while...

I haven't been here in a very very long time.... Let me update everyone on my life since my last post here a couple of years ago.

First, things between my wife and I got better. I started driving truck and wasn't home a lot. She lost her job to an overseas company that AT&T could save money on. We lost our house as a result and we moved. Moved very far away.

After this, although things were good at home, my wife didn't really talk to me while I was on the road. I mean, we would sit on the phone for long periods of time not saying anything. I would explain my day in detail and she would sit there and say nothing. I found someone that I could talk to which lead to yet another affair. I never intended it to come to that, but it did.

She didn't find out until after I found out that she had actually had one also 2 years before. And with the person that was supposed to be my best friend. She denied any wrong doing until later. We fought a lot over the next couple of months and I refused her attempts for us to get back together. Told her to find someone new.

She did. Some one commented on her breast and an hour later she was at his house. She wanted to see him again but decided to press me again about getting back together. Told me she met some one and was thinking about going out with him but hasn't yet (a lie). I found out she actually did meet with him and she claimed it was just lunch before she went to work. Then I get a message from HIM telling me that they had sex that day. She then admitted to going to his house and some of the stuff they did, but to this day refuses to admit they had sex.

Oh, when I found out they did actually meet, I was devastated and we got back together. It was after that that I found out about the personal meeting that she swore on our kid's lives never happened.

Anyway, we had some long great talks and opened up on a lot of stuff. I'm sure she is still holding back even though she says she's not. I've told her everything she ever asked me about. Corrected every lie I told about past affairs. But I'm sure she is holding back stuff about Kurt. (the guy I thought was my best friend.)

So, we get back together nearly a year ago and have had a great relationship. We have also moved to South Carolina. Life here is good. We bought a new house that is in the process of being completely remodeled. It's what we've always wanted. Couple acres of land sunk into the woods with a long driveway (almost a quarter mile long). You can't see our house from the road or from any of our neighbor's houses. Love it. It won't be done until July sometime and in the meantime, the guy we are buying from has us put up in one of his rentals. Great guy so far.

We decided to come down here because I was never able to get home in Michigan and here I'm home at least once a week. Even when I'm not scheduled to be home. I just run through SC a lot and stop when I can. Even for a 10 hour break.

Things are still awesome between us. We've been through some fucked up times in our lives and hopefully that is all behind us. I love her more than anything and can't bear to be without her. I only hope I haven't ruined her for good.

Anyway, I plan to be back here more often talking about things in my life including my new found passion with politics.

My wife hates me

Hello loyal readers....

You read that right, I sincerely think that my wife hates me... She's never happy with me...

Let's see, I started out our relationship being quite the asshole I think.... I don't know, never got sex so I had to find it elsewhere... Mistake on my part.... Did it twice though...

She will tell you 3 times, but the third time didn't involve sex in any way shape or form... Hell, never even seen that person without a shirt on... Granted, I did leave and go to her place... (I don't even know why I try to explain this) But I had no intention of having a sexual relationship with this person... I mean, sure, I kissed her a couple times.... But that's all I did... And for those of you that know me, I'm sure your ALL saying the same thing.... "BULLSHIT CHIP!!!" But if you really know me, you will know that I'm sincere when I say "I swear on my sister's grave"... Oh sure, I thought about it a time or two, but you would have to know this girl to know why I didn't let it go any furthor than that...

So, anyway.... That's one reason why she hates me... Well, three technically.... But let's group it into one so that I can feel better about myself in small insignificant way...

Ok, after we first got together and for a few years afterwards, I partied a lot... And I mean A LOT... I was never home... So, there is reason #2..

We are now at two reasons she hates me... Well, technically more, but we won't get into that again...

So, after a few years, I decide that maybe I should stay home and maybe she will start liking me again... I get bored very easily... I hate just sitting around... So I get more involved in my computer than I was before... And trust me when I say I was pretty involved in it before... You know, when I wasn't partying or whatever....

I started making some pretty good friends that I have to this day on the net... I was never one for chat rooms, but I did hang out in a couple of game rooms that I met some people... So, I got involved in my games... One was euchre... My wife got involved in it too... But apparently that wasn't enough to get her excited about me... Still no sex... So, apparently she still hated me and was hating me even more because I spent so much time on my computer...

That's three reasons my wife hates me...

My wife ended up getting a good job that allowed us to move into a house and eventually buy one... I setup many computers and by now that is all I do other than go to work... So, I work, come home and sit at my computer.... Go to bed at a decent hour (I work midnights, so 4 or 5am is a decent hour to me)... Why do I do this? Cause I'm bored... My wife wants me to hang out with her and the kids... Which, by the way, would be great.... Except what would we do, sit in front of the TV... Boring... I'm just not a TV watcher.... So, I try to come out of my hole once in a while and spend a little time... Not good enough though... She still hates me....

So, I have this to say..

Be happy your not with someone that is a drug addicted, acholic, wife abuser... I try my best to be nice to you, I have on soooo many occassions to be playful with you.... Which does work as long as it's me starting it... Sure, I sit on my computer all day when I'm not at work, but it's me... It's my addiction...

I'm so sorry I'm not the perfect man that every woman wants.... I'm sorry that I've tried my best to change myself.... I'm sorry I gave up a good portion of my friends to stay home more often... I'm sorry I can't stimulate you emotionally.... You compained in your blog about me coming home after being in jail and just sitting at my computer.... What else was I supposed to do? I have a business now on that computer that I'm actually trying to make work.... I have customers.... I'm just supposed to abandon them? I'm sorry I've tried to get you involved with some of my computer hobbies in order to help bring us closer... I'm sorry that when you want to go do something that I am more than willing to go with you... I'm sorry that I've told you time and time again anytime you want to talk or some attention that all you have to do is tell me or just come steal me away from my chair...

I'm curious though, what it is you want me to talk to you about.... I tell you everything that goes on in my life... Something happens at work, I tell you about it, something happens with PRO-HOST, I tell you about it... Something happens with my family I tell you about it... I mean, I'm sorry my life isn't exciting enough for you... That must be the problem, just because I don't always have something to talk about... I always thought we did a pretty good job at talking... I, and I say that boldly, I feel secure enough in our relationship to talk to you about anything... And I do.. Anytime I have an embarrasing issue, I tell you about it... Hell, I even admit to you that I masterbate when we aren't having sex enough... YOU won't even tell me about a sexual fantasy you might have... YOU try saying that you don't have any.... Bullshit...

Maybe it's you that needs to open up.... Maybe it's not me that has the talking about things issue... YOU couldn't even say your weight in front of me... I figured maybe the fact that I'm still sexually aroused by you would give you a clue that your weight doesn't mean anything to me...

Screw that dog

So here is the story...

My dog, a 3 year old rot... Brought into the house from the pound a few months ago... Good dog... House broke, has one of them neato micro chips inplanted, listens (most of the time), and actually very friendly.... Most times...

So anyway, a few weeks ago, he bites my youngest son... I attribute it to the fact that my kid tried to take away his food and there was another dog next to him... Kid gets 3 stitches just under his nose between his nose and lip... Nice scar... But anyway... Just figured ok, he messed with his food while there was another dog right there... Instinct right?

So today, while sticking his nose in the trash and trying to get some food out my older son hits him a couple times to get him out of the food... The kid is almost 8, how hard can he hit?? I mean really.... The dog bit him too... He didn't break the skin this time but my kid has a huge set of teeth marks on him...

I told my wife the dog has to go... I don't care about the circumstances, I refuse to have a dog that is going to bite... Now, she's pissed and won't talk to me... I mean come on... These are her kids too... What happens the next time he bites one of these kids... I could be worse... My two sons are afraid of him now... Dogs smell that... I don't want there to be another time so I am sticking to my guns... The dog is out of here... I don't want it...

Then, in the mist of my wife trying to get me to keep the P.O.S. dog, she tells me about my roommate's dog biting one of the kids... I mean, supposably one of the kids pulled his tail, but so what... My roommate is gonna be depressed if that happens again... The dog will go.... And not just tied up outside... I don't wanna listen to that spoiled whiney focker crying 24/7 because he is tied up...

I think I'm tired of dogs.. Our last dog, although it was just that she was a very hyper pup that played too rough, was a biter... I got rid of her... Pure bred Shelte... Beautiful dog..... But hell if I'm gonna have a biter...

Anyway.... Enough about dogs...

I got a pair of kittens that are pretty good.... :D

Anyway....

So, my oldest daughter gets ahold of me one day and says she wants to get to know her biological father... I'm all for it.. I want nothing more than to have her in my life..

She comes over and we just hang out.... Doing nothing really... Great kid with what appears to be a solid head on her shoulders... So, she comes over the next week and we pretty much do the same thing....

I decide that maybe she is legit in wanting to get to know me and decide to do a lunch date with her so that she can pound me with nagging questions she might have... But, I have't seen her since... I've talked to her a couple times, but it was mostly about nothing...

I'm kinda heart broken now... I was really hoping to strike up some kind of relationship with her... I never had one to speak of... Her step dad has been her father for years... I want nothing more than more than to be her father and possibly one day be her dad.. But apparently that won't be possible...

She's a very beautiful young woman... Just like her mom... And apparently has the same attitude LMAO...

Oh well, what can ya do.... I was absent for most of her life, so the only person I can blame is myself... Who knows, maybe one day I'll earn her trust and respect.... The most I can do now is try...

Other things in my life? Who cares....

There are many more reasons to live than there is to die. Remember that.

If you feel there is nothing left to live for, then it's a time to change your life. Get a new job. Anywhere. Make new friends. This small change will take a short amount of time, but more than likely end up putting you into a posisition to meet someone new and give you a new found reason to live.

Remember, no matter how down you are, there is always someone who loves you. It is just a matter of reuniting yourself with them.

It's Christmas in a couple days. Wish someone you don't like a Merry Christmas.

Remember friends and those just browsing blogs, don't drink and drive during the holidays. Or anytime for that matter. Nothing good can come of it. Not only is it a finacial burdon in your life for a couple years, but there is a strong posibility of destroying someone elses life forever.

My kids will be with me for the next week, so I doubt that I'll be around much to post anything to my blog. So, Merry Christmas to EVERYONE that reads this and have a happy and safe New Year.

What’s up sluts?

Man, I’ve had this freakin’ cold for about a week now and it is kicking the living daylights out of me… I ended up leaving work early on Saturday…. Really early…. Kinda sucked cause I needed the money…. Oh well…

So, otherwise I’ve had a very uneventful day… I’m sure when I go into work on Tuesday I’ll hear a bunch of bullshit rumors.. I hate that everyone has to tell me what someone said about me and others tell me that it isn’t true…. That place is such a rumor mill…

Oh well, what can ya do…. I just avoid the office and try to ignore it all… When I first came home the rumors were about me and now the rumors are about who said what about me at the time… Everyone trying to duck out of being the blame… There are a couple people there I know didn’t say anything and a couple that don’t care either way… Then a couple that did say shit but won’t admit it…. Well, one guy did, but he is a dickhead anyway…. I don’t like him, he don’t like me… So it works out…

Goodbye Marshall???

So, Marshall hangs up his hat….  Although many have gotten to know Marshall, he is slowly moving on in his life and away from Above The Mat.  The show that made Marshall a household name in the Michigan indie wrestling scene.  I mean seriously….  Ask Eddie Venom who Chip is…  Then ask him who Marshall is…

Marshall is famous in Michigan’s wrestling circle…  And quite honestly in some other parts of the U.S.  But as much as having Marshall as an alter ego has been one great ride, I’m thinking it’s time to say goodbye to the old boy….

You see, Marshall is nothing more than a gimmick…  A gimmick for a radio show…  A stage name, if you will…  Above The Mat will probably never return to the internet airwaves…  As much as I would love to have it do so, I really don’t see it happening…  We have discussed doing only live events, but how often is that live event going to have an internet connection so that I can bring in Kurt?  Very rarely….

So, although this may NOT be an end of an era, I am going to say my goodbyes to all my friends…  Ok, I’m not saying goodbye, but Marshall is…  Hopefully one day, Chip will be just as famous….

Missing You

It's comin' up on Christmas.... So let's chat....

There was this beautiful young woman.... 17 years old... She would do anything for anyone. She was just that type of person.... Went to church camp every summer and worked with the kids... She babysat for a young doctor and his wife... Two children I believe.... She would take them to tons of places during the summer at no charge to the parents... She just loved kids and like to have fun with them...

She graduated high school in June of '89 at 17 set to attend Farris State in the fall and begin her journey in the medical field.... She wanted to be the first female brain surgon.... She promised to use my best friend as her first patient and GIVE him a brain tumor...

She just loved to have fun... She was a good person... One of the very few truely good people in the world... She put everyone before herself and no one she ever encountered forgot her...

She was also a very very good friend of mine.... She was my shoulder to cry on when I needed it... My ear to whisper in when I needed to tell someone... Although younger than myself, she was my mentor.... She was the greatest person I will ever know in this world...

She was my sister.....

This little girl was taken from our life on July 29th, 1989..... Only 2 months after her graduation... And to this day.... As a matter of fact, to this very moment, I still cry when I think of her.... I miss her dearly and wish I could have her back... I would give my own life to have her back on this earth....
