The weekend is over and I am happy to say it was not all that bad. I spent sometime reading and writing. I also spent some time with family and friends.

I was also able to spend time with a couple friends on Saturday at the chicken barbecue at the St. Lukes Church...it was nice to just sit and laugh a little bit.

Now that can be good and bad....as when the friends Bonny ( My Wife ) and the particular friends ( Steph and Drew ) we can get in trouble...but I had a good time...and didn't get tossed from the church basement..( By God or the people running the barbecue.) ..So it was all good.

I went to a 50th birthday party for a good guy and then a 14th birthday to a real good kid...well I can't say that anymore as he is becoming a man.

John Bush has turned 50. A man dedicated to the community who has been on the ambulance crew for a very long time. He has had many ups and down and should be applauded for his work he does. Hats off to you "Bushy".

I went and watched the Hunger Games Movie this weekend..along with every teen in town. I have to say that the movie was very well done. It skipped a bit of the books feel but you got the gist of the mood and the acting was very good. I enjoyed the movie, still my ass went numb from the worthless cushions on the theatre seats...but all in all it was a good time.

A New Post..holy Shit

So I have not put up a post in sometime. I will tell you why. I am lazy, I am freaky no ambition, get of the pot Lazy. People who know me understand that. If I had to go a mile for water, I would just say screw it and turn to dust.

Winter time does that to me. Well not always winter..it can be summer or fall also, but I have days where I lock myself in my fortress of solitude and don't come out unless it involves Beer and Food.

Ok so a co-worker had found a website that tells you everyday of the years day designation. You know like National Bread day and the such. So I looked up my birthday and it was the following.

Moldy Cheese day..are you freaking kidding me. They should call it bad ass cheese day...

Well anyway...I guess it fits with what I was saying earlier.

The Norgus Press is putting out a new book soon. Called Zombies : The Other Fright Meat...We love doing this and hope you will all grab a copy.

Retirement....Dude..PaaaaaaLease

I was thinking today about retirement. People say its the golden years.....ahh yes the golden years.

I plan on retiring at age 60..yes a little early, I want to do things I have not done yet.

My entire life I have worked, I started at 12 years old.

I was one heck of a paper boy and won an award for my service

I will continue to I am at least 60....

I may work part time at a golf course ..cut grass for a few hours.....Enjoy nature and all it brings....

Then maybe play golf a few hours.

In the winter time I am going to make artistic birdhouses and sell them at craft sales. Does that not sound relaxing.

Ok now for a reality check. To maintain the lifestyle I have now I will need to retire with 2.6 million dollars. So as we all know...taint no fricken way that is going to happen. So now when all of you enter Walmart in about 20 years be prepared to say hello to me as I will be working a 3rd job at Walmart...don't ask for a sticker..because I may just stick it on you...the pleasures of old age.

I am not sure why this makes me mad..but if you get coffee and spill it on the floor at your house, do you not clean it up..Well the lazy crap monkeys that do this at work should be ashamed of themselves...I hope you get heartburn and piss yourself. OK that's my vent for the day....

So I went to the dentist yesterday. I hate dentist and have a phobia about them. I pretty much consider the dentist to be the proctologist of the mouth world......

Don't want your fingers in either end. But any Whooooooooooooo.....I am going to cost me a bit of money to fix the crap I messed up in my mouth. I fell and smacked my face on the steps one day and am working ok getting that fixed. I guess it is worth it or I can look like this person....

....not the option I want.

What is going on in this world. Why are we so..well like we are...

So I will start with this..... I play a ton of online games and most times just bop around and do what I want. Sometimes, I will join up with a group and play along...most of the time I just like to veg. out and relax..it helps me unwind.

I know the internet is full of little shits who are just a pain in the ass and that's why I just ignore most of the chat that goes on. But today I was playing a game that I enjoy and it relax's me after work as it is all about blowing up tanks. World of Tanks is the name of the game and it is free and I do like blowing up things.

So today before I came to work I decided to play. I jumped into a match and someone in the room was bashing on all the euro players. How they all stunk and Woot...Woot go USA. Now this is what's wrong with the rest of the world. OK, so I listened for a bit and then asked how old he was. He announced to the room he was Thirteen.

I asked him why he was bashing all the euro players ...what was his reasoning? His reply was " Because USA rocks and everyone else sucks "...Really...is that all..you are thirteen and you have fought the wars and all that....Another player then piped in and said " I lost my brother in Iraq and the other countries did what they could do help get him hone...not really sure why you feel they all suck"...the kid just said..What ever....Now dont get me wrong, I am proud to be an American...but I also understand why...Just saying....

The world is going to shit because we are not fixing what's wrong in our own back yard. enough of this politically correct bull crap. If I talked like that to my father would have slapped me up side the head. I would not call a lawyer or tell my friends and have CPS at my door. I would have deserved it...It makes me sick to think that the next generation is so shallow minded. This kind of thing does not only happen online. It happens everyday around us..and nobody has the nads to say hey...knock it off. I have said it a few times and the kids change from bashing who ever and then bash on me...Yeah..tell me something I don't know..I am fat and bald....thanks for the news flash...really...parents have to step up and fix stuff or we are screwed.

Kids should be doing what we used to do...Hell I should be doing what I used to do..get out of the house..and be active...or....well...just saying.....

This song is now stuck in your head.... I hate when that happens......they say the only way yo get it out of your brains is to listen to the entire song and it will then be purged. I was thinking..why would someone play this song on the radio on the way to work while I was driving.

The other thing I was thinking was, why the hell am I listening to a channel that is playing this song. Again, why didn't I change the channel....

Well I do.... I am now very confused and here is what I was thinking... If I was a hammer

I would be this one... All kinds of tools and still would just use the hammer to pound the crap out of what I was working on into submission.

Diablo 3 beta...yes I am. I can not go in to the entire layout or much detail but it is one of the most aesthetics game I have played in a very long time. I am looking forward to seeing the final release.

Geek desk for everyone, if you can afford the $3.40 a week. The desk is nice as you can raise it to stand or sit. I like the desk as it has more room and It looks much better then the old ones. I also prefer not to scar my legs all the time like it was easy to do with the old desk.

Looking forward to a couple days off in the near future. I think it is time for myself and the wife to go on a weekend min-vacation. Not really sure where we will go but it will be away from Auburn NY that's for sure.

We like to shop so I would love to go to Mall OF America just to check it out . We will see have to come up with a plan I guess.

Presidents Day...really?

So I had a...well " What Ever " type of a weekend. What ever type of weekends are the kind that you start to do something and it gets a bit more complicated then you had planned...so you grab a beer or two and start to dig in and if you get to your fourth or fifth beverage...you say .." AHHH Screw it, we got an extra eight screws...whatever"
Safe to say nothing gets done.

With me it does not even get that complicated..I get to the point where the hammer is on the counter and I am sitting on the floor and it tells me to hammer this piece in slot R...Yeah I grab my Coffee and head for the computer chair..Note: The hammer is still on the counter.

Monday is fun and we always have tons to do. Today was not to bad. We had a few people out and one left early but the calls had been pretty basic and nothing to crazy happened. I think some office had the day off for presidents day. I have never worked for a place that had presidents day off. I really do not think the country should come to a halt for it to be honest.

The day we should have off is ....something cool like Ground Hog day or Pie Day..or even better let Americans make up a national Holiday and vote on it.

Lets bring America back together and vote on a day. I would submit the following day. National Walmart Dress code day. Everyone has to put on under sized clothes and strut around with a terra...we could have a parade and a King and Queen...O oo crap I forgot..that's almost every first of the month....Just saying.

The day we really should all have off and celebrate is 911. I think that and the Challenger shuttle have to be the most memorable days I can recall. We could call it Honors day. Every American who has been killed or had their life taken in the effort to keep America a free country. that's would encompass veterans day...memorial day and all the civilian casualties in one day. Honor the fallen day or something..just an Idea.

I was told " Suck it today", yes someone was mad at me and told me to suck it. I am not sure what they wanted to suck so I followed up with a list of things that would be fun to suck..I followed that person around the building for a little bit just giving them the list of things that " It " could be... He stopped me after about ten minutes and said...Ok ..Ok I am sorry....I then left .....yes I think he was surprised so on my way back out of the room..I said... " I bet you are glad you didn't say F-U"

Looking over a local website I noticed they had been offering a service. Me being one to look at fun things like this just to see how stupid people can be I looked at said service. Ok wait for it..the service was this.....

We will read you the newspaper. Tired of getting your hands full of newsprint. We will read your local newspaper to you over the phone. $1.99 a minute for us to read your local newspaper over the phone......Are you serious...I am doing something wrong.

The weekend is close at hand and I plan on doing a few crazy things.

I plan on climbing MT. Everest,

I plan on raising the titanic,

I plan of working with Chef Ramsey to develop a new restaurant........

Then when I wake up I plan on getting coffee...I plan on sitting in my computer chair, I plan on ..well that's pretty much the plan.

Anyone who is larger then a field mouse will understand what I am going to say now. If you are trying to get past me in a revolving door two things are going to happen.

I am going to hit the door full speed with my Hugness..or I am gong to stop the door dead and you are going to smack in to glass. Don't be an ass, just go at everyone's pace.

So today is Valentines day and that's great for everyone. If you are a Valentine congrats, if you are valentine-e that great also. Ok back to work you tards who cares...Valentines is for when you are not working...

I was told I am a Donkey, an Ass as you will. A pain in the ass for sure, as my mother will tell you that, and yes I will admit it. I do not see myself as an Ass, as someone told me, just because I am honest and if you ask me something and you are not looking for a true answer and don't get the answer you had been looking for, it does not constitute me being an ass..

I have found that I like Belgian waffles more then I like just about anything. .....

Problem with that is it will not help me slim down......

I found the best batter to use for the waffle maker is Krusteaz...the stuff rocks and I can't even screw it up ...so you know it must be good.

New Rule
1.) If you use the bathroom and you Use 1/2 a can of Lysol to hide the fact you stink like a gorilla...you will someday be blessed with a cork on your desk and an air freshener.
2.) If you spill coffee on the floor on the way up stairs and don't wipe it up. Soon you will find the grounds from the pot filling your coat pocket.
3.) If you tear out a coupon from the newspaper before anyone gets a chance to read the story...and it is always the "to be continued" story on another page. You will soon have the Penny Saver delivered to your door.....Multiple times....and we all know how that is....

So I was going to go on a nice trip with my wife for Valentines day this year. I decided last years trip to Cove Haven in the Pocono covered a few years. A smart man knows that if you taint got the money don't spend it....I am told I am not always a smart man...never claimed to be..but common sense is where it all comes together.

Tell me a tale of lore and of a time when things had been easier. When birds would sing and the sun would shone on all of the world. So we read fairy tales and stories of the days of a simpler time.

A time when you could go outside and play with your friends and not worry about getting snatched by some pervert. A time that you could punish a kid with out a law suite. A time that kids respected adults and the parents. A time kids did not have kids, and I think...this is my opinion..that it is one of the problems we have today. Not all parents had a chance to be kids and not all kids should be parents.

Rant of the day

I am getting to the point when I really don't care what people think of me. I am not around to be everyone's friend. Do I really care if a cheerleading squad say's hello to me or good morning. No...But I am a person who is ready to go when I get to work. I pretty much say good morning to everyone as I pass them in the hall or have to deal with them on the phone. A little kindness goes a long way. To bad the world is going to shit and people are ass-munch's...heck I work with a few that need to just go away and go live in a cave and leave the rest of the world alone. We really would like to fill your spot in the world with a person not a dip shit.

Friday is here and it is my day to eat at the local Itchibons. I found that I enjoy the Friday meal and many of the things on the menu. I tend to lean towards the following.

Avocado Roll
Avocado and Cucumber Roll
Avocado and Asparagus Roll

One of the people I go with always gets the Dragon Roll...its pretty good also... I don't like the heavy fish taste in most of the sushi so the veggie ones are good.

Along with that you get a ginger dressing salad and miso soup...fills the fat guy up so that's a good thing.

So I was thinking today how I was going to injure myself next. Better known as Jeff is going to do some home improvement. I think I am going to tear down the train shelving ( I had a huge layout set up in a spare room for my HO trains...as in many of my hobbies I tend to get bored with them and move on to something else..which I intern lose interest in and move on...well you get the drift.

I tend to over do when I rip things apart so I am sure I will need the 911 staff ready for me.

So the shelf must come down so I can move more crap out of this room and make this room for my wife. Girls need rooms to have stuff in , we have our man caves

My wife will have just about what I have in my room as she is a huge sports fan...more then I am in baseball and basketbal

I take her out on football and hockey and golf....but all in all it makes a better household if you have a couple who enjoy some of the same thing...( FYI - we both like wine also..and games so I have a few stories to tell you on that at another time )

So any WHoooooooooooo....I am going to get that done and repaint the entire room to her specifications. We are going to put in a couple nice chairs and lamps and a T.V. and I plan on getting her set up with her spot to do her hair and it will be a nice little place for her to get away from me.

when I am ..well being me..people who know me can understand that..I am a gamer..and I will yell and shout and stomp around like a raging bulls sometimes..then take a nap and everything is fine...so she needs he spot...

Winter is the time I have a problem with...I love the Fall as football is around but Winter..get the hell out..It sucks...I want to move south so I can golf year round..I will not improve in my golf game even if I could because then I would have nothing to bitch about. I have come to the conclusion I pretty much suck..but I am having a blast...Living the dream as they say...

I think someone just went past me with chocolate cake...so long diet......ok maybe I will just lick the frosting on this persons..then we both will save calories...8)

The Myan Callender is going to kill us all of as it ends this year...who thinks this is going to happen.....

You know what, The Myan's died off for some reason, maybe because they spent to much time worrying about the freaking Callander and not building a fort to protect themselves from something that killed them off. I have been waiting for years for this to happen, Just think I can run my bills up and then have the government bail me out and blame it on the Myan's and the media...sweet.

If you are going to send me an email about something please get to the point. I don't care if your dog has fleas, your cat has a mustache, if you found a picture of a cute animal doing something. I don't need to forward anything on to show I am an American, I don't really care if Abdul needs money to purchase a ticket to get home and I sure the hell don't think we need to stop global warming as I will be long dead before it even effects me. So I would love for the spam filter to work on the emails I use....

Also, I think if someone steals the identity of anyone and gets caught, which they will that they should be sent to the person whos Identity they had stolen and that person should be able to punish them how he and or she wants.

So today pretty much is not a good day. I have had a stomached issue where it feels like a porky pine has crawled up inside of me and something scared it. I have not had any luck in fixing anything at work. I think that the saying is, got good days with bad days. I had a good day yesterday so today I am paying for it......I think I need to just really.. piss in fates soup and eat a bean burrito and ham and bean soup for lunch and teach that porky bine a thing or two.

So my rant for the day is about furry little animals. Yes Jeff has a problem with animals that can not stay the hell out of his way. I went to lunch late as I was dealing with an issue for a client.
On the way a small furry animal (not sure what the hell it was) darted out in front of me on the road.
I swerved and juked and missed him and it pretty much pissed me off.

I went to lunch had Pizza and the first Pepsi I have had in 3 months and walked around the local mall and made fun of the people who live at the place....ok that's just mean and after I was done made my way back to work....
Guess what around the same location it happened again, a little furry something came roaring across the road...this time I was ready I floored it...I was not going to let him piss me off again..I missed him and noticed it scurry in the woods next to the road.....I could have sworn he flipped me off.

Just another day I guess.....

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is out for multiple platforms and I am happy to have been reminded of this from a couple co-workers as the game has many people involved with it that will make it a ton of fun. Bonny ( My Lovely wife )knowing how much of a dip-wad I am she would have got it for me for Valentines day but I would have went out and got it before she had a chance, got it for me early.

Frost...Natures Middle Finger

You know someday's just start out wrong. Today was not that kind of day. I am celebrating a Jeff day today...not the Jeff day where I take the time off just to screw off....But the kind of day where I wake up on my own...no alarm...no headache from the pillow falling down the crack in the bed, no huge grow lights blinding me at 4:30am, just a good day. It is the type of day that you wake up and its a decent time of the morning, the light is seeping around the curtains to give the room a subtle glow...Yes I had a good start to the day...I really like that.

I can deal with snow as you can move it and get it out of your way. Easy to clean off your car...yeah its pain in the ass, but its part of living in the North East. Rain, yeah you get wet, just stay under cover and you are fine. But frost, it really pisses me off. It is just cold and sticks to everything...and no matter how long you have the defroster on you still only have a little hole to look out and drive. I even get out and scrape...The frost will just laugh then become a fog like thing that you just have to deal with until it goes away from the defroster. The mirrors that are now off center from scrapping them and I have to realign it...yes...Frost is natures middle finger.

We had our weight in on Tuesday and I was sure I had gained, but to my surprise I had lost 2 1/2 pounds. Well I guess that was from having the stomach bug last week. Hey I will take a stomach bug every week if that helps me trim down. No really, I think it is watching the quantity of what I eat more then what I eat.

So I was asked by a friend ( yes , I have "A" friend ) what really bothers me the other day. I replied "Everything", Not sure that's what they wanted to here, but hey you asked. Well I guess I should have been more specific...what really bothers me is the Windows key on a keyboard...ok we get it..its Windows...but really worthless piece of crap. Now all the Mac users will say " that's why you should use a Mac", yeah ok...90% of the world is windows based...so you can take your 10% and have fun just like Beta Max did 8)...No really MAC's rock for many things and I would love to own one..but I am stuck in my ways and at some point when I get to the point have expendable income I may just get one.

Time To Rant....

At a restaurant the other day about two booths down this person had a cell phone. It went off with the most annoying ring tone I had ever heard. Of course the person had to look at the phone announce that it was Ray and let it ring another few times then scream into the phone.

So I know Ray now was going to come over to this guys house to visit, the time and what kind of beer he was going to bring. Well the phone went off again, same process everyone in the place was told Ray is calling again, and we found out Jim and Tina had wanted to know how his dog is...well his dogs fine just in case the rest of the place wanted to know..he just had a case of the worms.

Once again about ten minutes later the phone rings...you guessed it It was Ray..I couldn't resist and asked the guy with the cell phone...Hey if that's Ray tell him that he should bring something for the dog like a bone and some worm medicine and everyone in the place thinks Ray should bring bud light so we all can have one. The guy looked at me like I had a third head.....

His friend across from the seat from him had to explain that it was getting a little ridicules and the guy got up and went outside to talk to Ray....He never came back. The Waitress thanked me and I got my lunch for free......Wow

A day in the life of a Migraine

Hello followers, well ok I don't think I have many followers but I enjoy doing this and it helps me in my writing world. I have been much more active with writing since I started this blogg. Thanks go out to Steph Deal and Jason Countryman and I will add Mike Bruton to that list as I did read his blogg many times. I also want to thank Matt Nord and Stacey Gilfus for the encouragement to continue writing.

Ok so enough of that crap and on we go.

I have to say that the best thing in the world is waking up to coffee. I have a Keurig Coffee maker that I got for Christmas....man it rocks. Not everyone likes coffee but for the folks who do it makes a heck of a difference when you can get up and have a very good cup of coffee in the morning. Lots to choose from and It helps me get started on the day.

So I had a migraine all day yesterday. I have had them for years and when they hit they hit hard. I struggled to make it through the day but made it with shear will. When I got home no matter what I did it just got more intense. I didn't even get on my computer, anyone who knows me would understand that I like to be online one way or another all the time...The interweb be fun...OK any Whoooooo

I dropped the nice Panko Battered Center cut porkchops we got from Wegmans in the oven and 40 Minutes later the wife and I had a great meal. I finished it off with a Skinny Cow Fudge bar ( They are freaking awesome and only 100 Calories..freaking huge also ) and I felt a bit better.

Still this dang headache it was nagging me so I decided to give up went to bed.

I decided that I was going to keep Bonny up all night with my tossing and turning and bitching and sighing...and she would keep me up with the snoring and the smacking in the head for being a little bitch. so I slept in one of the spare bedrooms. I called it my somewhat man cave as it is my writing room and has a couple PC's in it and all my books and gadgets.

I fell asleep around 8:15-8:30 and slept all the way until 4:30am. For me that is a very long time as I only get about 4 Hrs of sleep a night on most occasions.

So I was sleeping sound until........

Well let me preface a bit with this......

I won an Aerogrow planter..grow anything indoors anytime. I always wanted one so I decided...Well I won one so why not have two..as more is always better.

The device has 3 very large grow lights and when both of the machines kick on the entire room is lit up like a nuclear bomb went off.

So you guessed it folks...4;30 am the lamps came on. I flew out of bed..and being used to a California King Size bed and now in a single stuck in the corner of one of the spare rooms...I ended up on the floor eyes blinking tangled up in the covers swearing to all the gods in every religion.

To say the least, it was not the way I wanted to wake up. I yanked the power cables from the lamps and proceeded to go back to sleep....

well that's not going to happen..so I started to read...

I ended falling asleep at around 6:45 and had to be up to get ready at 7:15..so I am now sitting in my chair at work wondering....Do I really want the tomatoes plants to grow..or am I going to shit bag them just for spite when I get home.

So the Superbowl was this weekend. I think the commercials this year had been better then most years. Who ever comes up with the ideas must have so much fun doing that. My Favorite was the Baby from E-Trade at the Window with the newborns and his Dad..telling him about E-trade...near the end another baby pops up inside the newborns cribs and is asked..hey what you doing in there..he tells them Speed Dating...now that's funny as heck.

I was thinking about words I like to say...I have a list of words I find fun to say..why I don't know but here is my list and how I see the definition of said words..

1.) Salsa ( yes Sienfeld liked it also...it is fun to say )

I really like to substitute a swear word as lets say " Shit " with salsa it really screws people up.

2.) Do-Hickey - makes me smile....

Do-Hickey the feeling Mother Nature gives you when you go out before the sun burns off all the Due, How refreshing the world is and you walk around and just like a hickey- ( Back in the day we took pride when we had been kids to have a hickey) the enjoyment of the act of getting that feeling. But after walking around and the day moves on your feet are soaked and you have to change your socks....that sucks.

3.) Debacle - just think.....look at your self in a mirror and say it.

The pirate had a problem doing up his pants as he lost his Debacle...Ok maybe not.

4.) Titmouse - yes Jason that's for you....

IF Dolly Parton was a mouse this would be her name. OOO no he did not go there...of yes he did.

5.) Gregorian - Why I don't know.

Sounds like a Fantasy Role players characters name for D @ D. As the group rounded the corner in the dungeon Gregorian yelled, I see treasure...Charge.... (Wow, I think I need more sleep here)

The Methane Experiment

Have had the stomach bug for a couple days. Lets just leave it at that, I do think I killed the small family of rodents that lives at the end of the sewer line with my illness.

Any whoooooo......

It has been interesting to see how my clothes do not fit anymore. On the good side even, I put a pair of pants on that had been a bit tight...and had to wear a belt to keep them steady. I am not one to be hip to wear my pants below an area that should not show.

I got brave and tryed a size 38 just to judge how close I was to that size now. I think I am a few sizes away from that still.

I have decided to continue on with some writing I put aside last year. I am working on a story that is an End of Days type story....something happens and now people have to survive. Not going to say much more then that as I want to have a nice announcement when it is done.

It is my mother in laws Birthday, she is XX years old and I hope I have as much piss and vinegar as she does when I am that age...

The weekend is here and its Superbowl Weekend...I love football and plan on watching some of it. If it is not my team I find I watch it for the commercials.

I am looking for a leg with my name on it. (Read last Wednesdays post if you don't understand.) Another day of bliss in the world of computer support. Its not just computer support, its support for Dr's offices and the such. I have been doing phone technical support for around seven years and have been with my company for about 12 or so. Long time to hear people call in and ask the standard ID-10-T questions and report self inflicted errors..(fyi - if you need to ask what that is you may be calling for phone support soon.) and then they tell you you are wrong and thats not how to fix it..I am ready to move on and invest in myself and move towards a new goal in the company. Lets see how that goes as I have a feeling I will enjoy it and a couple of friends told me they would answer questions if I had them and that's a big benefit.

I tend to have on the same color everyday for some reason. Maybe its because to get a 2-3 XL - T..as in long so my ass crack does not show they only come in a few colors. Gray is the color most times so I noticed as I looked at my closet that my wardrobe is 80% gray. I am ok with that but it looks like I am one of the following.

1.) In a cult with a dress code
2.) A bachelor ( which I am not ) and like to have all my clothes the same color so I don't have to worry about separating the whites and the colors.
3.) Color blind ( Which I am ) and think they are blue and white and not all gray.
4.) To lazy to really gift a crap and just get what covers my ass crack.
5.) All of the above.

So I decided to go ahead and pick up a few shirts that did not look the same. I found a couple blue...a red one...I also found a nice green shirt. I put on nice green Nautica shirt I put on Tuesday. I felt good about it and was bouncing around all day in my Green shirt. Until about 3pm. Someone came up and asked, hey are you green lantern. He is a good guy so I just said its just a green Nautica Shirt. I know it should not bother me but its hard enough for me to look good in anything with the long upper body and the oompa loompa legs.

So the day finished off as normal..crappy, but hey I was able to go home and see my lovely wife and when ever I spend time with her it makes they day better.

The weekend is over and here we are at work. Why do we have to work. Why can't I just say I need X amount of money and the money fairy could just drop it off and I would be all set. Well, now I know I am not dreaming as I sit her with a couple hundred hardware support calls calling my name. Why do I do this...really..why. I could pretty much do anything I want to make the money I make here. It is because it is the people I work with I love so much....OK now I am dreaming.

So I had weigh in day for our little fatboy competition at work. I was sure I was going to be on the + side this week. Guess what...I lost another 1 1/2 pounds. I was second as one of the other guys lost 3 lbs. one Guy stayed even and other gain 3 pounds...we ridiculed him greatly and told him next week he should shave and he will be ok.

The weather outside is, well ok. So It snowed and was cold for a few days. Now it is pretty nice. Isn't that great for the North East...Oooo Mother Nature you bitch. Snow and I depress you...I hate this weather...then hey we are going to go from 15 degrees to 45 degrees in two days...Now this is more like it...I can deal with this....then 2 feet of snow...ok my slave now get out and deal with my wrath....I hate this weather, I am moving south...then 50 degree weather......well you get the idea...

I think I found out what I want to be..I want to be a side kick...yes I think I can do that..how cool would that be just to be a side kick...just look good and do all the cool stuff and let someone else take the credit.

All week you have to be someplace, you have to go to work to pay the bills. The weekend is supposed to be the days you do not have to be anyplace until you want to be. The weekend is a time to relax and enjoy.

Unless you have an Angus life.

So here is how things go for Angus. I am an early bird by habit. Many times people I know say to me "Why the hell are you so upbeat this early in the morning"....well this is your answer..its mid-day to me that’s freaking why.

Some days it is not by choice.

Its Saturday and I am up at 4:30am. I am used to being a morning person, and most times I am OK with that. But I think the way you wake up is the way your day is going to be. If you wake up on your own and roll over and yawn and stretch then get up and start your day, its going to be OK. That’s the kind of morning I crave.

This is how today my wonderful Saturday, no work day started. I am laying in bed all nice and warm no worries in the world. I am all snuggled in as the day had not started yet. I open my eyes a second to grab hold of the covers and yank them off my feet...( again another story, of why my feet must stay uncovered may appear here if I get around to it ) and I see a flashing light outside of the Window.

I don’t care who you are if you wake up to a flashing light you have to look out the Window. Whats going on, who is flashing lights out side my Window...Now let me preface this with this notion..i am colorblind and sometimes have a very tough time distinguishing colors..so when I see flashing lights..what ever they are I take notice as a reflex. Being 4:30am, it can be a few things.

1.) An Ambulance, we do have a few neighbors who tend to injure or come down with an illness and need to be taken to the hospital. ( FYI: Our neighborhood is a mix of people and they are all pretty great )

2.) Firetrucks and something is on fire.

3.) Cops and we have a drunk or a party that got out of hand and people are rolling around on the ground or running down the street nude ( Yes I have seen this and just shrugged and went back to bed )

4.) I have one a sweepstakes and they are setting up to surprise me ( Still am crossing my fingers on that one ) ( FYI- I am hard to surprise, for some reason I always know ahead of time )

So of course I drag myself out of bed and look out the window. I am thinking as I cross the short distance, ooo what can it be......

Then I see the paper delivery persons Van on the side of the road..with this monster nuclear freaking blinker on...Are you freaking kidding me..who made that light..Chernobyl!!!!!!!!! Why do you have your blinker on...its 4:30am and no freaking cars come down this street unless ..well read the numbered entries above.

And now I am awake, and once I am awake that’s it..I'M up.

Thanks the gods for the coffee maker Bonny got me for Christmas...It makes being up so early worth it.

A party for Laura...

We had a retirement party for one of the programmers who works for our company Thursday night. It was at the Springside Inn and it was very nice. A chilly night and we had been lucky enough to be in the fireplace room. It was nice an warm. I got to sit with friends and talk, we all work together and see each other daily, but we don't have time to just sit and talk. It was a great time and I enjoyed it very much.

The meal I had picked was a Stuffed Peppers (Vegan style). I was worried it would not be enough for me and almost changed my mind. The pepper came out and it was a good size stuffed with rice and all kinds of vegetables. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. I would go back and have it again if I was in the area.

So I noticed I had to take the belt in another notch....man that's a good feeling. I am starting to feel that this is going to be the year I am going to get down to a point I feel like myself again...I am not sure if that is a good thing ...but look out world here I come.

Very glad the weekend is here, about dang time. I have so much to do I just do not have enough time to do it. This weekend I vow to make a list and start actively doing the things that will need to be done. I just get comfy and say, bah I will get to it next week...that has to stop.

O'Cell Phone why do you punish me so......

So I have this cell phone. I have been told by my family and friends ( Or people who pretend they are my friends, even the ones I pay for tell me this also ) that they have no idea why I need a cell phone as I never answer it. I don't respond to a text in a timely manner either per the census group. That is true most of the time. The reason is I can't find it most of the time and I turn the ringer way down so it does not bother other people. Yes, I let it buzz and vibrate ( kind of fun sometimes...but that's another story).

ANY whoooooooooooo I was told that if I download this program called light flow that my phone will blink until I pay attention to it. It even can or will allow you to give different alerts and or colors for different notices ( calls, text, emails and the such ) I figured what a great idea...that's cool. Even when the users ( that would be me ) is color blind it was going to help me not miss calls. SO I load it and set it all up and now the dang thing talks to me. I have tried to no avail to turn the voice off. I can't figure it out to save

my life. SO now I just turn it up and bug the piss out of everyone around me...Hey that's not to bad...Muahahahaha

Wednesday ..they call it hump day...what are we dogs.

So hump day, yeah so why is it humpday..yeah because we are climbing over the middle of the week over a hump. Or is it like a dog, you crab hold of someone's Legg and just go until its over. I think it should be called that day that you really don't want to be where you are and someplace else should be better day.

So I am tracking my level of enthusiasm when it comes to the working out thing. I have come to the realization that I am not really one to do a structured work out. Its hard enough for me to have people tell me what I have to do all day and then have some crazy leotard pain giver " Instruct " me on what to do to be less fat. Newsflash, I already know that.

1 ) Get off your ass and do something.
2.) don't eat the 3600 calories you had been eating a day.
3.) Cake is not your friend as it give you Man-Boobs
4.) Eat often but in smaller servings.
5.) One craft beer is enough and you don't need 3 to go with it.

I have been doing this and it is working for me. I am down over 10 pounds in three weeks. My goal is to get to around 250 by April 1st....235 by July 1st...lets see what happens.

Tuesday and why it sucks...

Tuesday is the day that I dread the most. Why , I really do not know maybe its some Freudian thing that my mother or father or what ever that quackbag is known for....yeah that guy is full of crap anyway. Maybe it is that I am just still asleep all day Monday and wake up on Tuesday and think to myself " Shit it wasn't a dream, I still have to be at work ". So I sit at my desk and struggled to make it to 5pm. Ok who's freaking idea was it to have a normal work day go to 5pm. I want to build a time machine and go back and change that. My work week would be tues-wed-thurs 10-2pm that's it..if you don't like it move to another place. I would name my country Angustropolis..yeah that's it..Angustropolis..that's it.

Well now back to reality, So I have been trying to do this little work out thing with no success...I guess if they had named it Funtime Jiggle your ass off it would be more fun. But it is not and I hate it. I have come to the conclusion that I just leave the sound off and move like I am doing something and if I sweat a bit I must be doing something that works..I did drop ten pounds in the last 3 weeks..so I am all good with that.

Monday...OOOOOO Monday

Monday is the day that I like the most of all the days in the week. Some people will call me crazy, well yeah, but not about this. Yes we have to go back to work. Well we don't have to, but I like my money and the stuff I get with it. I also have a wife that will slap me if I stay home for no reason at all. We work at the same place so I can't even play Hooke with out her knowing. In the near future I will take a Jeff day as it is needed when you are in the business I am. ( Computer Technical Phone Support, if you are wondering ).

So I have discovered that eating better and just being a little more active has its perks. I feel much better and have been able to sleep almost 6 hours ( which is unusual for me ). I have lost almost 11 pounds in the last two weeks with just better eating habits and a little bit of exercise. I also have no had as many cramps in my legs, that's the kicker, It hurts so bad when that happens in the middle of the night.

So things for a Monday are not going bad at all. Monday goes quick as all the things you need to do come at you and you are in focus mode to get them done. We also always have someone call out on Monday so it gives us a ton more work to do. We only had one out today, but 2 others leave at lunch time, so off we go for a fun filled afternoon.

Lazy Day's Weekend Update

Weekend Is Over and what did I do?

Ahh the weekend is over and back to what we all enjoy....freaking work. So I pretty much did nothing all weekend. I did dishes, I did some laundry, I did some cooking, I did some gameplaying. I did one fun thing this weekend. I went to breakfast with my pal Drew. He and I like to just sit and talk and we work together so its hard to do that when we are taking care of support calls with clients. So we had a good breakfast and a bitch session and then off we went.

We have a plan to play disk golf so he can show me his "leet" skills. We played last year and I think I trudged through the woods and fell in the mud more times then when I was in the boy scouts. Drew and I laughed on many shots as when we had to play woods "Marco-Polo" to make sure one or the other had not fallen off the face of the earth.

I planed on doing many things this weekend. It just didn't end up being much. I think I want to take a nap as the weekend was so lazy-day I am tired.

     Its Friday and I am ready for the weekend. This week kind of ..well how can I say this...Bit the big one. Everything I attempted todo didn't go the way I planned. Work, home, virtual and other all kind of crazy and I am looking forward to sleeping in ( Sleeping in for me is like 7am ). Lets hope the next week is a little better.

     Had a sit down meal with the neighbors from across the road. I will just call them Mr. and Mrs. B. It was nice to have a conversation with folks and a meal. We went to the Auburn Ale House and ran into them and decided to dine together. Was not our plan as we just didn't feel like cooking and I think I ran out of dishes to cook with anyway ( Note to self, if you run the dishwasher when it is ready you would not have that problem...Dumb Ass ) Any who...It was very nice and I enjoyed it very much.

    My meal choices had been vast and I treated myself a bit and had a pasta sausage cheese dish ( yeah that will help my fat ass lose weight ), and it was great. I considered that I had not eaten much on Thursday so a 1200 calorie meal would be fine. I also rationalize it as we walk to the place from our house ( the wife and I ) and I tell her that hey we are working calories off before and after we eat. She tends to remind me its only 2 blocks each way...hey its more then I do most times.
