Active Pre-Orders Active Pre-Orders are the way we enable F3 regions, nomad groups, race teams, and even AOs to create their own custom shirts that feature the F3 logo on the front and their special design on the back. Over the years, we've ironed out a nice system that works for all:

F3 Marketing guys are able to oversee how the F3 brand is used to protect it for us all
F3 Nation is able to raise funds to support the mission while ensuring all sales tax obligations are met
PAX get extremely high quality printing and gear selection, the ability to order online individually by credit card and have gear delivered to their doorstep. Generally we collect orders for 2 weeks before printing and shipping the order.

Here's the F3/MudGear story (abbreviated)

Hey Brother!

You may have noticed that the F3 Gear Store is powered by MudGear. That's a business I started in 2012 that grew out of my F3 experience. Originally, OBT asked me to help distribute shirts from the back of his car. This quickly turned into taking the orders, collecting money, and sorting shirts all over my living room. My M was kind enough to allow that twice.

Guys kept wanting more shirts and gear with the F3 logo, and we quickly saw we needed to take steps to protect the integrity of the logo and properly manage sales taxes. We had big challenges to face with fast growth but a "Freed to Lead" spirit to keep building the road 43 feet ahead.

From day one, we have listened to and delivered F3 Nation's requests for top, name-brand apparel like Nike, Under Armour, and The North Face, all customized with F3 logos.

At the same time, I saw an opportunity to create my own MudGear-branded apparel line with race jerseys and compression socks built to appeal to F3 Nation and other outdoor adventure athletes everywhere. It was our MudGear Compression Socks that really struck a chord beyond F3 and throughout the Obstacle Course Racing community.

I quit my day job in 2016, after four years of building MudGear as a side hustle to pursue it full time. It was a leap of faith but a risk I knew I couldn't live with not taking.

Today, MudGear has established itself as a small but mighty force in the outdoor performance apparel market. We make high quality adventure wear for the men and women of OCR, Rucking, and Trail Running at MudGear.com. Malko here...short for "Malkovich". That's the F3 Name some intense guy named Dredd gave me after posting to my first workout in Charlotte Metro on 1/1/2012.

This was me (skinny Malko) Q'ing an F3 Armor Workout later that same year (2012).

I've had the honor of watching F3 Nation grow by leaps and bounds over the years, but we've never taken our eyes off the goals of invigorating male community leadership and turning sad clowns into High Impact Men (HIMs).
