5 Types Of Motivation Drive You Towards Your Goals

Have you ever asked yourself what motivation is? It could be defined as the driving force that leads to an action. There is probably no better definition. It is the encouraging feeling that helps you to work towards your goals. Some of us consciously work towards motivating the self towards working better, while others simply do this automatically.

Some of us make an effort to justify our existence while others do this subconsciously. All of us have different factors that motivate us, so we need to understand that our unique personalities require unique kinds of motivation. Some of the kinds of motivation are as follows:

A. Achievement motivation: All of us have an in built desire to achieve something in life, and what we feel we need to achieve is relative to who we are as persons. What is easy for one to achieve could be difficult to another, but achievement is rarely looked upon as a factor. However, when you have this desire to achieve, and when you recognize it as a driving force, nothing is impossible once you put your mind to it.

B. Motivation from society: Some of us are motivated to do better in life simply because we want to move up the social ladder. Others may be motivated to do something so that they can remain in their peer group. School kids are often motivated to better at academics just so they do not lose their group of friends, out of the fear that they may be held back one year. This is a simple example of motivation from society.

C. Motivation from promised incentives: When you know that you are going to be rewarded for doing something right, you make sure you do it right. This is called incentive motivation. Companies throughout the world offer their employees rewards or bonuses for completing projects before the set deadline, and this encourages the workers to work harder towards the goal. This is an example of incentive motivation at work.

D. Motivation from fear: Companies often use fear of punishment to motivate their employees. This could be looked upon as the opposite of incentive motivation and companies often use both forms hand in hand. While you could be rewarded for doing something right, you could well be penalized for doing it wrong. This is not as negative as it may sound, and is an efficient way of keeping employees sharp, and on their toes.

E. Motivation for change: Some of us are motivated to work hard towards achieving our goals because we are not happy with our immediate surrounding, and would love to see a change here.

As must be evident by now, there are many kinds of factors that you could use to bring about a positive change. What works best for you however, can only be decided by your own self.

Motivation is not an easy action. It takes efforts and a lot of emotional resources to be motivated, but by being motivated, the rewards are much more than the efforts it takes. Motivation can be developed and improved through these ways:

Accept That Motivation Can Lift Up Your Spirits

If you accept that motivation is the answer, that motivation is a necessity, that it can bring you a change to all things that needs changing in your life, then you have placed yourself on the route to success. Keep in mind that you can't be motivated if you do not consider it positive in your life and if you don't allow yourself to be motivated.

Relax Mentally, Physically and Emotionally

Your mind, your emotions as well as the whole of your body needs to be inspired. Take note that your mind must work with your body before positive actions can be attained. Let loose, let go all of your fears and worries. Remember that nothing will ever be lost through mental release. Instead, your mind is much freer for motivation to step in. This is the only means through which your horizons of success can be widened.

Take Action

Carry out something that needs motivation and do it wholeheartedly. No matter how hard it may be, persevere in it. Nothing best comes easy. Setbacks are things which always come into the life of every person. But you must be tough so as to spring up from these setbacks. Remember that tough times don't always last, but tough people do.

One of the best ways to manage stress is through self motivation. Motivation that comes from within is usually an undisputed source of confidence in a person. You do not want to end up overtaken by emotions and feeling frustrated which is stress.

People who have no motivation do not only have stress but they end up achieving very little way below their potential. You need to understand where you can tap motivation from and one source is in positivity and good hopeful thoughts which you constantly affirm in yourself.

There are many other sources that can inspire you to have self motivation like inspirational books, groups and the experiences of others.

You will beat stress through self motivation and confidence that come from setting goals and achieving it. It's best to set high goals which are very realistic so that you can avoid stress from failure.

The truth is that many stressed people are mad with themselves because they feel like they probably have failed in one way or the other. For them, self motivation becomes so hard. Therefore, take time setting up short and long term goals which will enhance your self motivation with the realization of success.

Please consider a few things when you lack self motivation.

The first thing is, you don't have to have past successes to self motivate. Empowering yourself and believing in your desires and aspirations for the future is something that you can begin with.

Let me share with you, I learn to make money online from forums and ebooks. Forums is the best place to start. DigitalPoint is one of it. You can find most of making money online resources to start your own making money website/blog. You can even participate and ask anything you want to know and I'm sure someone will answer and share with you what your need is.

Ebooks, there's thousands of them online. And which one is the best. Having to pick from thousands of them is hard. With limited budget, for a beginner, it hurts your wallet. Mine too. This past few weeks, the world experience economy downturn. Everybody are talking about price increase, inflation and the bad economy.

For those who are like me, not so fortunate and doesn't have millions in our savings. It is time to double our effort and start making more money from more multiple source of income. Doubling our effort not necessarily means that we have to work extra time and load our self with so much work. Keep on looking for what type of work can suit our time and money.

One of the way is by making money online. There are various of ways to make money online for free. And it doesn't take that much time. I've shared with you of ways to make money online in my recent post on this blog. It's not that much, but those are some alternative in making money online for free.

Mostly, these type of ads provider doesn't require any payment for you to join. And you can start making money online right away after you have registered and added the code they provide to your blog. It's not time consuming and you don't need to be a programming nerd to add it though a little bit knowledge on basic HTML are a plus.

Blogging is easy and you can register for free on Blogger. It takes less than five minutes to register. To update your blog, it only take about 15 minutes of your time, depending on what you are writing about. But for me, it doesn't matter to spend some time working on something that I love.

Being in the online world opens me to many kind of method to make money online. Every new day, there's a new opportunity to making more money online.

Scour - Search and Make Money Online

Recently, I received an invitation e-mail from a friend of mine inviting me to a new search engine, Scour. It is like a normal Search Engine where you type in your keyword and hit the button to search.

What differs Scour from other Search Engine is that it pays you to search. You will get point on each search. Eventually, when you've reached certain amount of points, you can request for pay out and make money online.

Things that make you go down

Often there are things that would make you go down. Many of us experienced it. The question is, how do we overcome it. I always believed that there's answer to any problem or difficult situation that we are facing.

Always keep our mind in a positive attitude. The more we think of a problem, more problem will arise from just that one problem. Focus on solution for that single problem. Don't stress ourselves with things that aren't related.

Believe in ourselves and our capability. As human, we like to compare ourselves with other. And we love to compare with someone better. There isn't anything wrong with it. Envy of others are good, if we can convert it to something that will improve ourselves. Don't think when somebody are better than you at something, that you don't have any value to yourself. The truth is, you do.

The thought of things won't change. Yes, things won't ever change if we keep on doing something that we, ourselves believe that won't bring any good. Explore your own self a little bit further. Get to know much more of yourself. What can we do to change ourself, to improve our life. If we still do things that we are doing right now, is there any chance that we will change and improve? Ask yourself.

Wow, it's been 3 weeks since my last post here. How fast time flies. But nothing changed that much.

Back to the objective of my blog here, I would like to share with you some things that i had found on the net recently to add to your making money online blog or website (if you had one). And best of all, these method doesn't involve any money to start up.

First, if you have a paypal account, you can make money online by adding a donation button to your site. You can ask your visitor for donation directly, or you can ask for it indirectly, like asking to buy you a drink, buy you a snack or anything else. I've put one here on this blog, just so you can see how to put it to work.

It depends on how you ask, and how your visitor likes you. If they like you enough, they wouldn't mind to spend $1 or $2 buying you a drink, maybe. The more they like you, the more money you will be making online.

Another method, is to register for CBClickBank, and put your referral link on your making money online blog/website. CBClickBank is sort of an online MLM , which pays you when you refer to another person to register for free at CBClickBank.

Though I haven't yet receive any payment since I've just registered recently, it's worth a try. By the way, it's FREE to register. What we have to lose? So, try CBClickBank.

Long busy week

Another long busy week passed, and there goes my blog, with no updates. I am so sorry about that.

First, there is The UEFA European Football Championship going on. It's been very surprising and interesting. Spain were the talk of the EURO 2008, since they won their only other trophy, the European Championship of 1964.

Then, busy with my sister. She will be furthering her study for degree. Looking for an apartment for her to stay, a new laptop and getting some furniture and appliances for her apartment.
Here, I realized that things have really change.

Back in 2000, when I was in college. It's as simple as carrying a bag of clothes and some money. Everything else (computers, appliances, furnitures) will be bought when we have more money or while we are already in the second term of our study.

Nowadays, you have to carry with you as much as you can before even starting the first class. And those things involve more money.

I wonder how it's going to be in another ten years.

Life gets harder

It's raining heavily outside, and the rain makes me feel sleepy. But there's so much work to be done. My couch can wait a little longer I think.

This couple of days, business have gone a little bit slow. I don't know whether it's because of decreasing traffic to my site or other issues (including oil price?)

And here, where I reside in, many have felt the increasing burden of the recent fuel price hike. Well, as we all know. The price will just climb up. It will not go down, unless there is a miracle. And that is unlikely to happen.

What can we do now is to double the effort, either smartly or working harder. This is to ensure we're up to the increasing inflation.

One of the way is to have multiple source of income, from part time sales, passive earning such as bank dividends or investing on real estate, or make more money online . And always think of ways of how to double up your earning constantly.

May we have winnings over the inflation. More money? Yes.

Wow, it have been awhile since my last post. And it's been a long holiday for me.

Taking some time to go on a trip had been more than overwhelming. I have met with old buddies, some of them which have been through a lot of improvement in life. And yet some that still struggling to live day by day with the same old story; which is how hard life is.

And now back to work. With fresh and new ideas coming in. All waiting to be put into action. How are you, all my friends out there? How's life? What good things have happen to you? Are there any improvement in life?

Doing some good thing continually will surely bring good improvement in your life. These have been proven by some of my old friend that I've met on my holiday. They improve their live by doing things continually. And not stopping. They achieve the good result by not quitting what they are doing and what they believe in.

If you have anything that you believe might do something good and improve your life, then take action. Do it continually, don't ever quit before you get the result. If you meet any obstacle, try to overcome it smartly. You will achieve improvement in your life.

Healthy, wealthy and happiness, to achieve all in these is almost everyone's dream. Many have wealth, without happiness and health. And many have health, without wealth and happiness.

Many believes that if you're healthy, you won't get wealthy. And if you're wealthy, you may fall sick and you will lose your happiness. Is it true? You may ask yourself once in a while.

To have health, wealth and happiness, all of it is something that you can achieve. How? These complete package of health, wealth and happiness is within yourself. You will be the one deciding it. It's all in your thought.

Get wealthy, think about wealth. What can you do with your health if you're wealthy. Can you buy good food for your body, can you buy the best medicine for your sickness, can you get happiness if you're healthy?

What can you do with a good health? You can work your way to become wealthy. You can live in happiness knowing you're healthy and wealthy. There's a lot you can do with a good health. Protect it.

Everyday, we pray for happiness, we pray for health, and always we pray for wealth. We hope to see some guide to wealth, which path to take. which road to happiness and wealth. And always our prayers were answered, only we aren't noticing it.

We have to start thinking why thing happens to us, why we thought our prayers never been answered. We have to look around. Sometime, it appears in front of us, through our friends, maybe through the newspaper wealth article in front of us and sometimes the road to wealth is always there in our head. We just have to grab it, think a little bit and before we know it, the prayers to wealth, the sign to wealth, the path to wealthiness that we should take will become clearer.

These things won't come directly to us, money and wealth won't fall from the sky. If we can think and focus a little more, we can see that all our prayers to wealth have been answered.

Plan and Aim for the Target

Do you have ambition? Do you have a dream? Do you want to achieve something?

Then you need planning.

To get to your target, you must have a solid plan. Without it, you wouldn't know which way to go, which route to take. The plan that you make, does not need to be complicated. Just a mere of how, when, what, why, where, will do. Normally, for me to make up plan, it would take 10-15 minutes of thorough thinking.

Let say you have a target of $100 000 savings. So that is the target, how will you get $100 000, When will you achieve it? Which method will you use to get savings of $100 000? Why you need to save $100 000 (this could be the driving force for you)? And where will you get the money?

The planning will start when you start answering these questions that you have made. And then aiming at this target require determination and action. A plan is just a plan until you take the first step. You will find boundaries, but overcoming it will take yourself a step higher. And soon you will realize, that you are capable of achieving anything that you aim for.

Time..produces money

It's been a while since my last post. Sorry, but I've been busy. There's a lot to settle, and yet so little time.

Today, we are new again. One day older than yesterday. And for most of us, we always thought how fast time goes by. Do we appreciate what time give us, the choice to make it better for our life. I hope i am, and i hope we all do.

In where I live, I always sit in two groups. One that always have not enough time, and one group that have too much time to spare. And the busy group are the one that always making a better living.

The other group however, don't like to waste their time doing something good for them. And they let their time past by without nothing good to work on. And always, their talks are about how hard life is, not realizing they are the one who makes their life harder everyday just by wasting their time.

There is always something to work on, even five to ten minutes of your time can be spared to work on something worth everyday. For me, what I can do to make my life easier each passing day are just by blogging. Something that I like and it give me a sensible side income, since I'd rather be at home doing something worthy than sitting in some cafe, talking about how life sucks.

Find something to do, something to work on. Give it five to ten minutes of your day, and make your time worth every seconds of your life. Cheers..

Act, don't just dream

There's a saying "Once a dreamer, always a dreamer"

Well, this is what happen to most of us. We thought that something will come to us, we thought that we will be lucky, we thought that we will win the lottery. Maybe, maybe it will but in reality the possibility are almost zero.

I, myself, had these kind of thought. But that was in the past. I've learned that waiting to get lucky are just a waste of time. I've had so many ideas of what to do, and instead of doing it, i just left it to past me by. And that's a dream, without any action or at least trying it.

Action is what we need. Sometime we think so much that we don't have the time and energy to make it real. Start taking the first step, it is the hardest, yes. But eventually we know we will get a result. If it's bad then we can improve, if it's fantastic than we can further improve. Without the action, making the first step, we won't get anything for sure.

And with more action, definitely, more luck will come to you.

I always believe in these words. I am as normal and as typical af a human being, same as most of us. Having ambition, wanting to succeed in life.

There's nothing so special about this site. Just a blog dedicated to all of you, discussion of business, money making opportunity, a little motivation for us and probably some information to achieve our golden goal. Little by little I will share with you, of what I know and what I've learnt, so that we can go far in achieving what we always wanted.
