Today I was instructed by my Mother to bring some unwanted items to the local Thrift Shop. Of course I had to pop in to check out their inventory which was SO worth it! Today I found this awesome fur vest that is actually a size large, but creates oversized look on my figure! I also thrifted the Trifari Vintage necklace for $22 which I thought was a little expensive until I googled the brand. I am not sure of it's worth, but it is definitely worth more than $22 and it is so unique that I had to purchase it! After this experience I realized that thrifting is a must. It is a way to reuse clothing and find original, one of a kind pieces for an amazing price!

The Sophia by Sophia Vergara collection incorporates lots of ruching and slimming cuts similar to the high end t-shirt brand Velvet by Graham and Spencer. Can't wait to check it out in person!

The best way to add pieces into your wardrobe is to look into someone else's closet. It could be your Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Sister, Brother, Boyfriend, Husband...all of these people will have pieces that they do not wear and you can snatch from them for free! Do not rule out a man's closet because well hello oversized button-down shirts are so cute especially with a belt, leggings and boots!

All of these pieces I found in my Mother's closet. She is not into Fashion, so I was extremely excited to find these fabulous items! The fur vest is made by Elle and bought at Khol's. The shoes are vintage Hush Puppies, that I used to laugh at a couple of years ago when my Mom would wear them. Now they are all mine! The belt is a vintage leopard haircalf belt that fits at the waist. So what are you waiting for? Go raid some closets and find pieces for no price at all!

The best way to look polished and well put together is through accessories. They normally run under $50 and are an inexpensive way to make a statement. Sunglasses, scarves, hats and jewelry are a must! If you are running out the door without one of these items on, run back in because it will take you two seconds to throw something on and transform your look.

Okay so I must admit, the jewelry I picked out are not as "cheap" as H&M, Forever 21 and other brands. I don't know about you, but I have tried inexpensive jewelry and they ALWAYS break or turn my fingers/ears blue. The chloe + isabel pieces that I picked out are worth spending the little bit of extra money considering their great quality! The jewelry is not made with nickel and has a lifetime guarantee, which is quite impressive for their price point!
