Spring is trying oh so hard, and not fast enough, to make its way up here to the Northeast. We met up with Mike and Lori at the park today to let the boys tear it up a bit…ahhhh, spring is coming!

B&O Railroad Museum – Baltimore

We took a weekend getaway to Maryland last weekend to visit our extended family, the Shearer’s.

While there we took Noah to the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum. The place is AMAZING!

Noah Goes To See The Train…And Almost Poo’s Himself

We moved a few back to Kent, CT, the village we were married in and where Wendi has worked for the past 5 years. The new place is right downtown and the train runs through town about a quarter mile from our new house. Noah is OBSESSED with trains…and when this thing comes through every morning at 7:20a.m. he goes nuts in the house and makes me take him on the back deck so he can hear the train and chant “choo choo” about a million times.

We decided to take him this a.m. to actually go see the train. Perhaps a bit too close…when I pick him up at the end of the video every fiber of muscle in his body is shaking. Don’t you worry though, it only increased his obsession with trains…like father (and great-grandfather, great-great grandfather…) like son!

The kids and the grandparents all headed to the photo place to get all stressed out and get some photos taken…it was much less stressful this year because we didn’t have the outfit changes…ahhhhh

Summer Break In Nebraska

We are currently about half way through our long summer break in Omaha. Noah has changed drastically since the last visit at Christmas and is now running and chatting with his cousin Peyton like crazy.

Peyton still reminds Noah that she is the older, wiser one…in this photo she is keeping him hydrated while they swim
