My cousin called me yesterday and told us some great news. She said that her boyfriend asked her to marry him and that she got so excited that she almost forgot to say yes. I asked her what she was doing right now and asked her if she could come over but she said they were looking and shopping for wedding bands. I said okay but come over when you are finished.

Neglecting my Blog

Sorry to all my online buddies. I have been on vacation the end of September so I have not been paying much attention to my blog. However, I did really enjoy my trip to New York. The youngest and me got to visit my family there, but my husband and eldest had to stay home to work and go to school. Hopefully I will be able to post more later because we are still trying to get settled back home from our trip. I need to go get ready and pick the eldest up from school. Hopefully, I can post about my new job later too. We have had so many changes lately that it seems surreal.

pc tuneup

My son’s computer has been very slow and crashing more often lately. My husband suggested that we download a pc tuneup program. He thinks that it will fix the register. I did not know that such programs existed. What do you think? Have any of my online buddies bought and used such programs? Did they work? Post any comments below and let me know what you think?

We don’t have that many musicians in our family, but my husband came from a place where it was normal for friends and neighbors get together on a Friday night and play bluegrass music. It is one of his favorite childhood memories. He loves a banjo but the other day he was talking to one of our neighbors. Our neighbor had just finished searching online to buy a ukulele. We didn’t even know that played music much less a ukulele. So we told him to check out a website called ukuleles for sale guitar center. We hope he buys one soon so we can hear him play.

Today was my eldest son's first day of school. I am repeating my husband but it seems that the school year gets earlier and earlier every year. We have three more things to buy to round out his supplies plus they sent home a ton of papers to fill up. They even sent home the same forms to fill out that we filled out just two days ago. I love organization and having to do duplicate work! Not! Anyway, we have to adjust to our new schedules and see what life brings to me with school and/or work.

I love to watch the Maury show. It is one of my few guilty pleasures. I hate that people have problems with their lives but I love watching about the topic of dna paternity testing. I am happy that I do not have that issue but it would be nice to know that you can always find out if you needed too. harmony remotes

My husband calls our kids savages. They seem to tear up everything that they touch. The broke the on/off button on the television in their room. Next they broke the remote and then their granny gave them a universal remote. It is sad to say that they have broke the second remote. So here I am shopping online and looking at harmony remotes trying to figure out which one is the best one to buy. My husband said the cheapest one that will work because it will not have a long life anyway.

The boys and I have been enjoying the summer since school let out last May. I have to admit all this time in the sun we are getting tanned and much darker. Poor daddy, He has to work and doesn’t get to enjoy the summer like us, but I told him that it is okay that I would buy him the best sunless tanning spray so he want feel left out. He said at least he could match us when we go out.

After church we have pretty much accomplished nothing. My husband played on the computer his game. Matt played with the I-Pod. Charles watched T.V. I played my game on my lap top. It's good because I have not felt to f good anyway. My whole body has hurt for some reason. Hopefully tonight I can get Charles back into his sleeping routine to start getting him ready for school. August will be here before you know it!

Sunday comments & graphics We got up and went to church this morning even though my body was hurting. We missed the last couple because we either over slept or just plain felt bad. It was a good service and happy that we went even though the kids decided not to sleep until mid-night.

My husband and I was outside working in the yard. We paused for a moment when we saw our neighbors come outside. We asked them where was they headed and was shocked by their answer. He said they were going shopping for some Motorcycle Jeans. My husband joked that maybe he gained too much weight and needed to buy some more. His reply left our jaws touching the ground. He said “nope, we are buying them for my wife.”

One of the ceiling fans in our living has stopped working, so I am trying to convince my husband to buy two. I want to update our decor by adding some tropical ceiling fans that I found online. He thinks it would be a waste to buy two when we could replace the one. However, I told him we could use the one that works in another room plus we would upgrade our living room at the same time.

To The Lake

Today we plan to go to the lake and let the kids swim and have a picnic. It's going to be hot outside, so a dip in the water will cool them off. It's about the only activity that is bearable here in the summer time. Hopefully, I can snap some good pictures while we are there.
