Fans of The Lying Game have been waiting patiently to find out what Sutton and Rebecca are up to. After the bombshell dropped at the end of the last season it’s been a tough wait. The good news is the wait is almost over. On January 8th 2013, The Lying Game season 2 begins on ABC Family.

Expect more drama, more lies and deceit and more broken relationships. Will Emma figure out she’s being played by her birth mother and Sutton? Will Alec get out of jail? Will Ethan and Emma get back together or is she with Thayer? Will Kristen forgive Ted and take him back? What’s Rebecca’s end game and how long will it take for Sutton to betray her? Everyone knows you can’t trust Sutton, even when she’s supposed to be on your team.

I Survived Evil is about people who have survived personal attacks that endangered their lives. Carpenter will talk about their event and is able to sympathize with the victims as he is also the victim of an act of evil. Carpenter was previously detained by a police officer on the beach, along with 2 of her friends. Carpenter was physically unharmed but both of her friends were shot in the incident. The officer was apprehended and was convicted for a number of crimes including rape.

The plan is for the cast and crew to start filming in Summer and have the show back on the air for the winter. We already knew that the show would return in the Fall TV season or later, if it was renewed. Although we have no idea why there’s been such a long wait to get renewed, we are ecstatic that we will be seeing more of Emma Becker and bitchy Sutton Mercer.

Fans everywhere want to know how long Sutton has known Rebecca is her birth mother and what game they are playing.

I know we are all waiting to find out what will happen with The Lying Game and if it will get a 2nd season. So far there have been mixed messages coming from ABC Family. Some of The Lying Game cast, such as Alexandra Chando, Blair Redford and Allie Gonino, attended the ABC Family Upfront Presentation in New York. This could be viewed as good news as ABC Family would have no reason to invite a defunct cast to a public event.

However, there is bad news in that ABC Family have just released their Summer viewing schedule and The Lying Game is suspiciously absent. Pretty Little Liars and Jane By Design will return in the Summer. On the other hand, it’s not all doom and gloom as Switched at Birth isn’t returning to ABC Family until the Fall season. So there is a chance that The Lying Game could return then too. I know it would mean a much longer wait to find out how long Sutton and Rebecca have been scheming but at least the show would be renewed and give fans a chance to find out what’s really going on.

The cast and crew are raring to go and plan to start filming from May, if the green light is given. However, there hasn’t been any official announcements as of yet. It’s a bit of a waiting game at the moment so keep your fingers crossed.
