Here's a little taste from an engagement session I shot earlier this spring. Justin and Grace are good friends of mine and it was a blast to walk around Westport and shoot some pictures. Grace is a HUGE Cardinals fan so as a bonus, I was promised a Cardinals Baseball Cap. This post is a little late and they are married now but I hope this will be a little reminder from the "spring" of your relationship and will encourage you to love each other more and more every day. Love you guys.

Winter 2010/11

Here's a couple of good memories from this Christmas break. I "converted" my brother to Snowboarding few years ago, and even though he's already soooo much better than I am, we still enjoy shredding together. It also works for me, because I can just focus on the photography part and let him do the flying. Speaking of flying... he broke his wrist snowboarding few weeks ago, so this one is for you Jakub. Love you and get well soon.

Jack and Jenn are a beautiful couple from my school. Their passion for life and Jesus are infectious and it was such a pleasure for me to capture their love and happiness and to play a little role in their story. I love vinyls. I love digging through them. I love the way they sound... and smell. EarWaxx is the closest record store in my area so I go there a lot. Recently they moved to a bigger location next door so I went to take some photos of their new store.

I don't have to introduce this guy. He's a superstar, yet he is one of the nicest and most humble people I've ever met. All he wants to do is glorify JESUS. God has given him a great talent and Lecrae is using it to preach the gospel through his music. Dwayne Tryumf in KC

I heard about Dwayne long time before his appearance on Lecrae's "Rebel". I Lived in London for a year and that's where a got a taste of some of the best Christian Rappers in the UK, and among them, Dwayne Tryumf. His crazy flow is unforgettable. (If you haven't seen his 777 intro go now and check it out!)

And then, he also recorded a song with my cousins, RMC [RhymeNights], and it was bangin'. So when I heard, that he is coming to Kansas City to "First Saturday"I couldn't miss it. He is an amazing guy, with a great talent and a passion for Jesus. Friendship

I think this is my favorite thing about being a photographer... I get to be a part of a family with people I shoot. I love the deep friendships and the fact that I can observe and experience how they meet, fall in love, marry , and have kids... and this is the case with Jordan, Nels, and now Kaya. I meet Nels at the new student orientation in the spring of 2007 as we sat at the same table during lunch. After moving to KC, I didn't know anyone, and he became a big brother to me. He prayed with me, always had time to listen, and was there, when I needed him. He has great hunting skills as well. The next semester Jordan came to school and they started dating pretty soon, got engaged, and asked me to shoot their engagement session and their wedding...it was such an honor for me!

WEDDING

They are such a beautiful couple and I love them very much. It is an honor for me to share my life with them. They are great friends and I'm so thankful for them. And now comes the next part: KIDS. Kaya Abigail was born at 8:59pm on January 26.

It's beed an amazing adventure guys and I can't wait for what will come next...just sayin' :)

Daniel, Edyta & Jonatan - Family Session

Daniel and Edyta are my friends from a city I grew up in - Malbork [Poland]. I've known Daniel since I was 8 years old, and he was always like an older brother to me. I saw him when he started dating Edyta, I played my saxophone at their wedding, and this summer I saw their son, Jonatan, for the first time. They're an awesome family and I miss them a lot, and this session reminds me of our time we spent together last summer. Jonatan is much older and bigger now, and I can't wait to see him when he'll be older and tell him: "I remember you, when you were soooo little..."

Brenda & Toran - 10 Year Anniversary Session

I met Toran about 4 years ago on a Youth Camp in Poland. He is a youth pastor at Calvary Church in Grand Rapids, MI. He is an awesome guy and I enjoyed working and serving with him and his passion and commitment has been a huge blessing for me and many others. This session was a way for me to say "Thank You". It took place this past summer in Poland, on the Baltic Sea. It was the last day of our camp and we woke up at 6AM to catch the rising sun. We couldn't ask for better conditions. The Sea was rough, the Wind was blowing and the Sun was beautiful. This photo shoot is a collaboration of two photographers: my close friend Filip Wakuła and me, Filip Blank. We were working together on this one and I know that the pictures would not look the same without his help.

Abandoned

This is a photo shoot I did with my lovely siblings: Sonia & Jakub at the end of this past summer. I had an idea to take some pictures at this abandoned gas station at sunset, with all the warm colors of a beautiful, late summer evening. When we got to the station the sun just disappeared behind the clouds and wouldn't come out before awaking a new day on the other side of the globe. I was pretty disappointed with the conditions and was ready to pack my gear and go home, but my sibling wouldn't let me, and now I'm very thankful for that. Luckily I had my trusted strobist kit: a 580EX II with a wireless trigger on a stand with a shoot-through umbrella. We had a lot of fun exploring the abandoned gas station and were able to get some cool shots with only this one light source.
