I did this in my art studio on campus, this picture was done in chalk pastel. It was a design done by me on our of a collage & I turned it into a drawing. All of the things that make up the face are things you would find in nature. Flowers, Wheat, a horse & other small things you can point out.

With the holidays coming soon, Dawn Richard is releasing some music for her Hearts with “December Sky,” her first solo iTunesrelease. She wants to bring loved ones together with music in a way that is not so traditional but still heart felt, so this is not your typical Christmas tune. Produced by Druski, they both agree that this song will last well beyond December 25.

DAWN RICHARD says,

“A lot of people won’t be able to see their loved ones this Christmas, So I want to do something that was real with that. And so we came up with an idea, why is it always about material when we share the same sky so that could be the gift that we have when we look outside & we see the moon, we see the stars, we know that's a gift for us. That's for us, because when we're not that far when you look outside, we're all under the same sky!”.

The concept of this photo-shoot was edgy, dark, street, high fashion, editorial. Because of the brightness of the lime green Jeffrey Campbell shoe it created a pop of color for the dark undertones of the twins look designed by wes. This is my fave shoot to date I've done.

This photo shoot's concept was edgy, glam, the make up was darker, so I wanted to give the picture a darker type feel.

This is a painting by me Vince Volta for my series of conceptual oil paintings. The series of painting will show the border lines of sorrow & happiness within world religion by taking images & distorting them for the viewer to pick their own conclusion on which each piece means for them.

My inspirations in art usually come from dark places & artist such as Willem De Kooning, Marilyn Manson's water color paintings, & Brett Manning.

This painting is the first of my painting series I call it "Trinity".

Dawn Richard’s is working hard on her solo release. The Dirty Money singer, once Member of girl group Danity Kane is making big noise in music. The singer / songwriter is ready to go solo with her first album. She revealed some of the titles including the intro titled “Hollywood Story”, Rob Holliday, & “Running from Sane” (D’Mile), Dawn Richard says some of her inspiration are by Phil Collins & Meat Loaf.

Dawn Richard explained that the conceptual project, due on Bad Boy, will be a trilogy with the first release "GoldenHeart" coming in late 2011/early 2012 with "BlackHeart" & "RedemptionHeart" to follow.

Her fans (or “Hearts” as she calls them) fell in love with her lovely mix-tape "A Tell Tale Heart".

“The last six years have been a battle for people to understand and conform me into what they really want me to be and I’ve kind of had to protect that throughout this whole journey,” said Dawn Richard. “It’s kind of the story of me protecting this golden heart, which really kind of symbolizes my own heart and my passion for this music thing and really who I am.”

Dawn Richard has spent a lot of time in groups & made wonderful music with them, but with her lovely voice & amazing song writing skills everyone is ready for her to step out on her own & get her much deserved & earned solo success.
