Not sure what to expect from a full length, but this is quite the track to get your weekend started early. Just keep the dancing to a minimum.

A perfect example for you guys is her latest video, The Writer, which looks like an episode of The Hills (not that we watch the show). No matter how the video looks, it’s still one of the best tracks off her debut album, Lights.

19 year old Helen Page aka, Paperplain, can be compared to a tea kettle that is a on a low fire. Her music has a slow and building sound which we would classify as lo-fi and delicate. We pegged her as a one of the Fresh Faces of 2010, which might be a bit to early. But we still have half a year to go.
