This is the bridge set-up for DC's big "anything you can do, we do too" team up movie... But can the DCU really capture the same lightning in a bottle that Marvel did? We will see.

Concept: Superman has been public for two years. Batman has been public for 20 years. What happens when the Dark Knight and Man of Steel finally lock horns? Well... Maybe something bigger is in the horizon.

Execution:

Cast: Cavill and Adams return. So does Cowboy Curtis(bonus for you if you get the reference). Badass Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg going from Zuckerberg to Luthor... Not much of a stretch. But Batfleck... How did they all do? Score: 10/10

Characters: Affleck is the best Batman overall(second to ONLY Kevin Conroy)...experienced, grizzled, and extremely pissed off at Supes. Irons pulled off the first "badass" Alfred. Not the nurturing butler this time. Lex Luthor stole the show. Not the Lex we all know just yet... But he got there toward the end. And Superman stepped up to the plate. Shouldering the load of superheroing... While still trying to be a man. Looking away from the critics to still save the day. Score: 10/10

Story: mashing together parts of many comics stories, it transitions between those with ease. You get a clear, yet somber story that wasn't supposed to be "fun". It was to fill you hope. Plus, it set up the future on the DCU on film. Something big. Score: 9/10

Visual: overall, stunning. Issues with the CGI of Doomsday and tracking the Doomsday fight in 3D is nearly impossible. But dark tones, hopeful light, and contrasts of Gotham and Metropolis just across the bay from each other. Looked great, but not perfect. Score: 8/10

Sound: Simply put, the score is amazing. Go buy it. Hans Zimmer's last work. Score: 10/10

Flow: at first, the movie doesn't flow right. Zack Snyder has a history of flow issues with me(the dismal Sucker Punch is my example) and once again it has to do with balancing dream sequences. But this time, those sequences were necessary, and it was the balance of Superman in the movie. Anything to do with the Senator seemed like it broke the movie's stride... But once she is dead, the flow is great. But... Still feels weird. Score: 7/10

Substance: paid critics all say this movie isn't fun. I didn't know all superhero movies had to be... The fact that it isn't fun, that is what makes it great. If it had more levity, it would've killed the potential it used, the potential it has, and what we will see from it. It was two signs of the same coin. Light/Dark, Hope/Pain, Serenity/Shadows. Nothing was lacking... BUT most of the substance was ruined by the trailers. Doomsday might not have been the biggest part of the movie, but his reveal would've been more impactful if kept secret. Score: 8/10

Closure: I will save the ending for a different category, but aside from that, we end with foreshadowing of both a HUGE evil coming, and the need for the Justice League... Lex is in jail. But... What happened to Doomsday's body? We know in the comics he keeps coming back... Where is he? Score: 9/10

Legacy: as for Superman, Cavill plays a different kind, and that's okay. Best Batman yet, Affleck pulled it off...and keeps distance from the Nolanverse. A great sequel to Man of Steel, a wonderful starting point for Batman, and lays the foundation for Justice League and the DCU as a whole. Score: 9/10

Extra Oomph: I'm going to mention the Jesus Allegory first. Man of Steel likened Superman to Jesus. Snyder confirmed... And it worked. He continued it in this one... Praise for his commitment to that... But that is not what is really go here. The ending. Once Doomsday was revealed, I instantly thought what he is defined by: "Death and Return of Superman". I did not think they would actually kill Superman in the movie. No way, no how... And they fucking did it. It was shocking to me they did it, and it worked so well to further the story. Allows Bruce Wayne to be the one to get the band together. Because "The Death of Superman" WAS in it, I have to. Score: 10/10

Total Score: 90/100. A- overall

Conclusion: was it a perfect movie? No. Does it compete directly with the MCU? Yes. Imagine if "Thor" had a much serious tone... It would be equal to this movie. Which is a complement, because I loved Thor and it was directed by one of my favorite directors. We got a solid movie... Great performances, and as a Batman fan, Ben Affleck is MY new Batman.

It's all a matter of opinion: I cannot stress enough that THIS is MY opinion, you can either agree with me or not. I don't have to justify my opinion, because *clears throat* that's what this blog is about. Whether I like it or not doesn't mean you have to or not...... It's just my justification behind MY recommendation... Which leads me to my FINAL JUDGMENT...

FINAL JUDGMENT: again, I stress that it is not the perfect movie, but it is a great movie. And if you haven't seen it yet, then don't wait any longer. We need to prove those asshat critics wrong... BUT as my Final Judgment, I do need to be honest... Do NOT go see it in 3D.

------------------------------------------------

So there you have it, I gave "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" a 90. Pretty good, in my opinion.

Stay tuned, next one I will do will be my very late Deadpool review.

Until then...

~The Master is Out

The End Is Fear

So here I am. Two weeks removed from one of the worst nights of my recent history. So many things going through my head. So... I shall lay them all out here. For you all to see.

That night... A terrible storm was raging through Columbus. And a different kind of lightning bolt hit me from a different kind of storm.

Events leading up to that had my girl in a state of depression. Little did she know or apparently care, I had been too. For longer before that. But I worried about her more... Made my depression worse. Wouldn't even talk to me. So... I decided to try and get her to talk. She didn't have to talk about what was causing the depression... All I wanted was to not be forgotten. I didn't step too hard. I didn't step too far. I did EXACTLY what I thought I should do... And that was try and show support. That was two weeks ago yesterday... And that night... The terrible flood inducing storms came... And that lightning bolt... Hit... And the relationship was over.

A year... A year I was very proud of. Gone. We never had a fight. We never had a disagreement. Not once. Now... It's over. Why? I still don't know. I haven't heard anything else from her. Nothing. And what is it I'm left with? A year full of happy memories... With no happy ending. Without a reason that the story has come to a close.

I'm left with sadness and fear.

Parts of me wonder why I'm not good enough to have that happy ending. All I wanted was a story I can be proud of. But not knowing why it ended... There is NO reason it should be gone... But not knowing why it ended...... Makes me believe it was all my fault...

But it wasn't all my fault. It wasn't at all. I stand by doing what I thought was RIGHT. I always had respect for her. Loved her. Cared about her.

In the end... Nothing but fear.

If I loved, respected, and cared for her... And this is the end product. Did she ever feel the same about me? Am I just not that good enough for someone to give me those kind of feelings back? I did everything I could...... And now... The story is over.

But was the last year plus a waste? No... I have memories that I can cherish forever... Memories that are clouded by the last few pages of the book being ripped from its spine... Like my heart from my chest.

This love I had... It was so hard for me to find. I'm not a looker. I'm not rich. I'm not successful. BUT I keep trying. Through it all, I haven't given up. Plus I have a heart...currently blacken gold...and a really good sense of humor. And guess what...all those stories about that being enough...is bullshit. I am the nice guy. I am, have been, and always will be. And this all proves a huge point...

Nice guys don't finish last. They don't finish the race at all.

In NASCAR terms... A DNF. Did Not Finish.

A part of me hopes that she will come back...I can make the repairs in my garage...and luckily win this race. But... Regardless the damage is done.

I DO NOT regret any of the last year plus... And maybe it has restored my confidence some(enough to get me a new job)... But that damage is done.

When did compassion, caring, and a heart become a bad thing?

My biggest fear is not knowing what I did wrong... And whether or not I'm ever going to be worthy of anyone else again. And... I want to be.

Those are some of the things swimming in my mind lately. A broken mind... Trying to put the pieces back together again. Super glue doesn't work. It doesn't.

Now... Here is where I am at.

I know I did nothing wrong. NOTHING. So... I am gonna pick myself up... Stand up straight. And be proud of trying. If she wants to throw it all away for nothing, that is her choice.

Since I did nothing wrong, I am NOT going to pursue her. At all. This... Is all her fault. And if she can't see that... I feel sorry for her. I have been and always will be a very caring loving person to those that deserve it. And I believe she still deserves it. The question is... Would I take her back? The answer... Depends on how long it takes for her to realize she made the mistake. She wants it... She will have to come to ME.

That being said... I am ready to just move on.

And THAT is what I'm most afraid of.

It was so hard for me to find what I had. The doubts are back in my mind because if caring wasn't good enough this time, what will happen next time?

Guys like me get overlooked.

I don't want to be overlooked anymore. Right now... Even if just for a moment... I want to feel important again. That I'M good enough.

Would be nice.

Looks like this story has come to a tragic end.

And the end is fear.

~The Master is Out

Ho ancora manchi...

Emotional.

The New Review
"Inside Out"
Director: Pete Docter and Ronaldo Del Carmen
Starring Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black

Background Check: This is Disney Pixar. They have a long standing tradition of making things humanistic... That maybe shouldn't be... But make incredible films from it. They made toys come to life... 3 times. Bugs now are societal like humans. Cars are people too... And Planes too... Why not give emotions... Emotions.

Concept: why not give emotions... Emotions. And they did just that for 11 year old Riley.

Execution:
Cast: Okay. Amy Poehler is Joy. Mindy Kaling is Disgust. Phyllis Smith is Sadness. Bill Hader is Fear. Lewis Black is Anger. I don't see any flaws here. Only thing better would've been if they got Leo DiCaprio to play someone named Oscar... Yep... Ha... Joke... Score: 10/10

Characters: the emotions themselves well done, the little girl they are inside and her family are wonderful, the little we saw of them. An imaginary friend... Dream production crew. The details. Perfect... Score: 10/10

Visual: color coded emotions, and vivid style to make you understand what is going on inside Riley. Beautifully done. Like all Pixar... Score: 10/10

Sound: I'm gonna say it. I'm gonna say it. It didn't have the world famous Pixar soundtrack... No Randy Newman at all... And it is BETTER for it. "You've Got A Friend In Me" would've been too weird... Score: 10/10

Story: what happens inside us? Those little voices. No need to explain any further because really, that's all YOU need... Score: 10/10

Flow: I don't think I've even seen an original Pixar movie have any hiccups. This one definitely didn't. It was straightforward without being straightforward... Score: 10/10

Substance: Humor, inside jokes(literally), perfect casting, and if you don't shed a tear, you have no heart... Score: 10/10

Closure: Emotions will never have a true end. Even when we die, it carries on to the next person in line. This movie makes it clear this was just one step in Riley's life. And we very well could see another chapter later... Hence the big new button... Score: 10/10

Legacy: why is it that Pixar never ceases to amaze me? They must have a department called "The Feels Creators". Because that is what they have done yet again... Score: 10/10

Extra Oomph: This movie has a message. Do you know someone that suffers from depression? This movie shows EXACTLY how I feel when sadness takes hold. It spreads to other memories... Changes them in ways that I remember the truth, but twisted darker because of sadness. It spreads, and nearly impossible to stop with just your other emotions alone. Do you know someone who suffers from Autism? I know plenty of people that do. One of my friends once told me that sometimes he can just feel emotions just disappear and leave for no reason. He can't grasp why, but just gone. And this movie deals with BOTH of these. In way for EVERYONE to understand. And for that... Score: 15/10

Total Score: 105/100. A++ Extra Credit

Conclusion: Give it up for Pixar to bring us yet another amazing story, unique concept, and the only thing missing was Jiminy Cricket as Riley's conscience. Sad, funny, emotional, visually stunning representation of a personality... I has just seen my movie for 2015.(Star Wars? What's a Star Wars?)

Final Judgment: Go see this movie. If you have already, awesome... Go do it again. If you have yet, go see this movie. What was this about a movie about some Minions? Forget those Twinkie shaped little bastards and go see this movie. Young, old, in between. Go see this movie. Oh... And take some tissues. I should've.

So... I gave "Inside Out" a score of 105! A score better than perfect... And it deserves it. All... Me... Aside... Please go see this movie. You won't regret it. If you know someone who gets depressed or has Autism take them to see it with you. Or if you know someone who should understand either of those alittle better, then maybe I might consider buying the tickets for you. It is that much of a must see movie. You won't regret it.

This one is going on my top ten list. Gotta fix that damn thing anyway.

The New Review
"Jurassic World"
Director: Colin Trevorrow
Starring: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio

Background Check: Jurassic Park. Michael Crichton and Steven Spielberg gave birth to a shitload of dinosaurs and a movie/book/story that was filled with "what if" magic... And two laughable sequels.

Concept: John Hammond would be proud. The park he had always envisioned became a reality. And then the scientist went too far. Again.

Execution:
Cast: Bryce Dallas Howard is hot. No question about that. Vincent D'Onofrio fresh off his amazing turn as Wilson Fisk in Netflix's Daredevil made for a good human villain this time around. And Chris Pratt... Dude is officially the new IT actor in Hollywood... And he has fun doing it... Score: 10/10

Characters: ever archetype established in the original movie is represented here. All the way down to the kids getting screwed up in the park. Maybe relies to heavy on that idea... But good anyway... Score: 9/10

Visual: Imagine is the original had been redone with today's special FX... Destruction. Even Spielberg crapped himself in a couple of spots... Score: 9.5/10

Sound: RAWR... Nothing else needed to be said. Score: 10/10

Story: making something that was HUGE 20 years ago is no easy task, and while it's a good idea to watch the originals or read the books(or both) to get the little references, it isn't necessary to enjoy the movie. It grabs, chews on you, throws you to the ground, and you wanna jump up and ask for another ride... Story: 10/10

Flow: there is no break in evolution... Score: 10/10

Substance: um. GIANT DINOSAURS ARE GONNA EAT YOU!!!!! And it did well to drive home the point of very intelligent animals... Captured the magic I grew up with watching the first movie... Score: 10/10

Closure: I have to say, the ending was alittle wonky. Sequel possibility? I hope so... Just it didn't seem to close the movie... Ala Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince... It could've benefitted from maybe 2-3 more minutes... Score: 8/10

Legacy: 20 Years later and we get the sequel the original deserved. Not saying Jurassic Park 3 wasn't good... Just not as good as this. And I think it helped to have Chris Pratt as the lead. Excellent fit in the Jurassic... World... Ha... Score: 10/10

Extra Oomph: Imagine this. Disney World. But with Dinosaurs. While there are plenty of people who support it based on how awesome, fun, and possibly educational it could be, there are those that sit behind the scenes and look at it for what else it is... A profitable business. Can't keep the doors open if you don't make money. And it almost always can cause a LARGE problem... Like Dino-death... Score: 10/10

Total Score: 96.5. Solid A

Conclusion: Jurassic World made a lot of money. Why? Expensive ticket prices? Maybe... But what about people going and seeing it again. I know I'm going to. It was a great movie, with great actors. Oh and some humans in it too.

Final Judgment: this is not a movie for little kids, because of GIANT FUCKING KILLER DINOSAURS, and if you didn't know this, then you shouldn't been going yourself. That being said, for everyone else, it is a must see. It's made so much because it is an amazing movie.

Wow. I gave "Jusrassic World" a 96.5

Good job Chris Pratt... And some dinosaurs too.
And it's been awhile...

So we are slightly changing the format...

Slightly

Here we go...

The New Review!!
"Terminator: Genisys"
Director: Alan Taylor
Starring: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney

Background Check: Terminator. James Cameron's multi-million dollar baby. Story of an A.I. taking over and destroying the world. A resistance led by human John Connor. Each story revolving around the A.I. trying to kill John Connor in the past or even trying to kill his mother so he could never be born... Killer robots... Metal mayhem... And Terminator 2: Judgment Day proving that sometimes a sequel can be better than the first.

Concept: John Connor send Kyle Reese back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor from the original terminator. Only thing is... EVERYTHING is different.

Execution:
Cast: Surprisingly well done cast. Emilia Clarke reminds of a young Linda Hamilton. Jai Courtney needed something to make up for "Live Free or Die Hard". Arnold has still got it. Jason Clarke made a better John Connor than Christian Bale. Excellent all around...... Score: 9/10

Characters: see above... Oh... And throw in a Doctor Who in there for good measure... Score: 9/10

Visual: Not enough explosions for someone like Michael Bay, but it works so well. Dead metal... Score: 8/10

Sound: also see above... Score: 8/10

Story: Very well done, except slightly confusing... If you hadn't seen any of the others. I HAVE seen the others, but still kind of irritating that it is almost required for you see the original 2 movies to get why everything is changed. That being said, this was a pretty good sequel/remake all in one... The requirement gets to me... Score: 4/10

Flow: While a movie about time traveling robots with a splash of a love story worked back in 1984, this one only gave us a trickle of the love story, because it all... Changed... But the two parts worked together. The length of the movie hurt it tremendously. It moved way to fast for its own good. If the movie would've had another 15-20 minutes, some mid-major things could've been explained alittle better. Because of that, the flow was weak... Score: 5/10

Substance: the story was gripping... Which is saying something about a movie plot we have seen many many times. Slight twist, but if you watched the trailers, it was ruined. That being said, a great action movie, and filled with little ribs at its own history... Score: 9/10

Closure: Well... It ended. But that's a good thing. A great wrap up, and leaving open for another sequel I actually want to see. With another poke at the past that you will only understand if you watch the originals... And I did. So... Score: 10/10

Legacy: This series is filled with oops. The first two movies are legendary. Terminator 3 was a huge steaming pile of dog shit. And the ONLY good thing about Terminator Salvation is Marcus Wright. This had to do a lot to make of for those last two... And thankful it has. Stayed rooted while carving its own place in awesomeness. The start of another great trilogy maybe?... Score: 9/10

Extra Oomph: Having two Arnolds was very cool, but I give this to a concept never explored in the series before... Going FORWARD in time. I won't tell you how or why, but it was finally used. And very well. Could've been more, but it served its purpose... Score: 8/10

Total Score: 79/100. C+

Conclusion: It really was a great movie. But that is because I knew what to expect going in. I've seen the whole series. Not disappointing at all.

Final Judgment: if you have never seen a Terminator movie in your life, don't go see this movie. You will be lost as fuck. You get the idea... But you won't understand WHY, and that makes the movie what it is. If you HAVE seen a Terminator movie, then I recommend it. Seriously. Do it.

So I have given "Terminator: Genisys" a 79.

Pretty meh... But if you are a fan of the series, then this is a must see. And I AM a fan

So... hello there, my readers. It's been awhile. Sorry I don't post that often anymore. I have a lot of work to do to adjust my lists too. Eventually, I will get to it. First step is to get back into blogging. Life has actually been pretty good, even with the usual roadblocks of not have confidence in myself or just plain bad luck. I can honestly say my luck has changed for the better. Because of that, blogging has become harder and harder because this is where I would go to vent. I can vent on Facebook, but at the cost of a smaller post. Easier most of the time.

But this topic deserved a blog.

I wanted to give you all something to think about, and at the end, I have an honest question for all of you. You don't have to answer, and some of you I don't want to answer. But if you decide to, be it either on here, on Facebook, or personal message... please be genuine.

I now believe life is nothing more than a controlled storybook... where we ourselves are the authors.

There are some chapters that we are proud to reread, some we wish we could delete or rewrite, some where we wished someone could remove all the typos, some where one chapter was enough, some where you wish you could've gotten more than one chapter out of, some where you got more out the chapter than you expected, some where you shouldn't have let linger, even a chapter or two you could remove and not affect the overall story but they are there to make the story more fun...

My story. I have made alot of stupid mistakes. Each of those take up a chapter of their own. Most of those mistakes I would make again. They have shaped who I am, the good and the bad. And I am becoming more proud of of all of that, even though there are still some things I would change or build from... the fact for each of our stories... each time we finish a chapter, it gets published right away with no edit function. Typos and all, for the world to see, whether you let them see it or not...

The world always see it.

The inhabitants, not so much.

The chapter I'm in now has been a really good one. Plans are in place to make it even better... maybe even my best chapter yet, and the chapters ahead actually look promising, and I cannot believe I said that. It is surprising even me. My story has finally found a new main character that actually supports me in all my craziness (love you Cara Mia). The supporting characters are doing what they have done for quite some time, and that is keeping me believing in myself... and are integral in getting my to my next chapter. The readers... I still don't care what they think, it's my story. (Not YOU readers... I mean those not IN my story)... but...

I'm still writing my story my way. It IS my story.

The problem I have run into is this. I have been thinking my life over. Growing. Changing. And I'm looking at changing the way I write my story. For now it's still my own story, and finally have a chance for a potential co-writer(still a ways away for that)... or maybe a ghostwriter(NOT to be confused with Ghost Rider...woohoo random joke).

There are somethings about myself that I want to change, and not because other people want me too... because I WANT to. But I know to do it I either need to change my writing style or change part of the chapter I am in.

That is where I have my real problem(sorry... you read my stuff, you know how I work).

Pen in hand, you have the ability to change your story, it may give you the ability to grow... but currently isn't your style of writing. It isn't influenced by anyone else, it is the product of wanting to make the story better.

Do you change your writing style to accommodate that change?

My view on religion not withstanding, what if there really is some kind of afterlife. I don't want to look back on my story and see it hitting another bad patch. I've been through enough bad chapters, I'm looking to make the rest of them I have left the best possible... and yeah, co-writer/ghostwriter/Ghost Rider/Robin... woohoo...

Better question...

Is it possible to improve your story without changing your writing style?

I am loving this chapter. It is one of my best. I want my next chapter to be even better. And thus the overall story.

The only bad stories are the ones that end prematurely.

The others... well... are all perfect. Regardless of how many of your chapters are good or bad. No matter how many characters come and go. And even with the changes of your supporting cast, main, major, minor, even cameos. None of your chapters turn out perfect? That's fine... your overall story... will be.

This author is looking make his story evolve.

Does he do it with his penmanship?

Or does he do it with the content of the story?

Or both?

My story may not be one of the greatest stories ever told... but one thing is for sure...

When I'm done with my story, it's gonna be just like everyone else's...

A Lifetime Existence Best Seller...

~The Master is Out

One More Thing: Each of our stories shapes the next story in line. Most of those stories are already running. Before ours, running currently with ours, and even the ones after ours... they should all be recorded in a compendium.

Wait... it already is...

It's called History.

Okay... the topic I'm about to cover is going to be touchy, and personally, I don't care who likes it. I try my hardest not to talk about two topics... politics and religion.

Well this one isn't about politics...

Let's start with this.

I am an agnostic. What is an agnostic? Well, there are a few different versions. With out going into details on all of them, the basic idea is that being agnostic means you aren't sure about something associated with religion.

For me, it is simple. I'm not sure about any of it. I believe in the possibility of a deity or God... or maybe Gods. But I also believe there is a possibility there mi isn't one. I believe there are better odds that there isn't one, than one of them is more likely to be THE one. That is why that at this point in my life, religion isn't for me. Not saying that I wouldn't attend church with my loved ones if they had a good reason, or maybe some time in the future, get married in one... but for now, the idea of religion is not for me.

Now, why would I break one of my blogging rules(again) at this point? Some customers I had this last Monday night. We were waiting for chat to activate their upgrade phone(which actually takes longer than the old system). They were a slightly older couple, roughly my grandmother's age(I think younger). We were talking about the computers being slow, and about technology in general. I mentioned I had a blog, where I could express my feelings about thing. She asked if it include politics, and I said no... that I do my best to not talk about politics or religion, because nothing good ever comes from it. They asked me what my views were.... I told them I was agnostic, and why. While they were respectful in their response, they still basically told me that I was wrong and invited me to church on a particular day to have my questions answered... I didn't have questions, I had views. I will share some of them with you all now... some of them are the ones I shared with them, some are not. If you are easily offended, that is not my purpose. My purpose here is to let it out, and let it go.

First. I have a deity theory. We live in a world where they are many many many Gods. The Christian God, Yahweh, Allah, Osiris, Zeus, Gaia, the Earth Spirits, the Sun God... need I go on? No? Good, you get the idea. Here is my deity theory... how many of you have read Greek Mythology? There is a God name Zeus. He is the King of the Gods, the main guy. He was a womanizer. He got so many different ladies knocked up with so many demi-gods, I would need a blog post just for the list... but there is something specific... each one of those ladies, Zeus appeared to them in a different form... a form they would understand and accept. What if there is just one God, and he(or she) appeared to each sect of people in a way they would understand and accept? God to the Christians, Allah to the Muslims, ancestors or Earth spirits for the Native Americans, etc etc etc. Not that impossible. I mentioned to this to that couple(well everything but the Zeus/Greek thing). It didn't take him long to tell me that if I come on to the church, they can tell me why they are different... basically saying I was wrong. Why am I wrong?...... I can't even tell you if I am right. BUT I'm not going to walk up to a perso of faith and tell them they are wrong... that is the point. Some Christians(not all of them, I've met some good ones too lol) will walk up to you and tell you essentially that they are right, you are wrong, but you can be right too, if you come and join them in believing the same thing they do. And not just Christians. It's called pushing your beliefs on others. You don't see me doing that do you? Nope... and I'm not going to. Most agnostics aren't going to either. I'm telling you this... I don't care what you believe. Believe whatever you want to. You aren't wrong. Who knows, you may be more right than me... but I'm not going to hold my views over your head... no one should do that. Period.

Next religious topic. The idea of homosexuality and gay marriage. My state of Indiana fought so hard to keep gay marriage out of the state... and the US Supreme Court told them their ban was not gonna fly. Why did Indiana fight so hard against it? Religion. Because gay marriage is wrong and it's an abomination. No it is not. It is two people who love each other wanting to make it official in the eyes of everyone else, including the government. Seriously... gay rights is this generations civil rights or women's rights. And it's always the same type of person fighting against it. White, backward, bible-thumping men who are afraid that they will lose the control the u just have. Yeah, I'm a white male... but I am just like everyone else... I'm not entitled to anything, including power over someone else. Get what I'm saying? Too much religion in power. Separation of church and state... they need to stay out of each other's business. Yes, I do say that churches shouldn't be forced to perform gay marriages, but at the same time, churches shouldn't prevent them from getting married at a church that would using other methods(justice of the peace). But what about the idea of homosexuality and religion. I have a theory about that... maybe a way for religion to accept it......: you believe that God is infallible and has all the answers. What if homosexuality is an answer to two of the biggest issues this world has? Overpopulation and kids that have no families. Not everyone is going gay, but if a fraction would be, it would slow down the procreation and population from expanding at a greater rate than before. Well, why be together if you can't have kids? Good point... what about love? And with that love, these gay and lesbian couple can adopt. Give homes to those kids who don't have one. Oh, but it's a bad thing, those gay couples would corrupt the kids and it's wrong? How? We already covered that homosexuality isn't wrong, and I guarantee you that those kids won't care if the adoptive parents were man/woman, man/man, man/woman... it would be a new loving home...... hmmmm what do you think? It would be logical, wouldn't it?

And don't tell me that if I don't believe, I'm not getting into Heaven. I can think of many many many people who shouldn't get in... and THEY believe. I try my best to the best person I can be to other persons around me. That should be good enough. If it isn't, guess what, I don't wanna go... if Robin Williams can't get in, I don't want in either...

I'm not going to tell you religion is wrong. If you have it, congrats to you. You have something to believe in, and I'm happy for you. Me, I choose to believe in humanity, even though humanity is starting to let me down...(maybe I should focus on the humanity around me, yes?). I'm never going to tell a religious person they are wrong, as long as they don't use it as a weapon. Don't push your faith on others. If they want to believe, they will... who knows, maybe some day I will sign for the Christian team. Not likely, but the beauty of being agnostic is this... I'm open to any possibility.

And I will still never tell anyone else their beliefs are wrong...

Unless, of course, you are a member of the Westboro Baptist Church cult or you are Pat Robertson... because fuck all of them... sideways...

Btw... according to faith, Robin Williams can't get into Heaven... he committed suicide... that is a Carnal Sin. Any place that doesn't want Robin, doesn't deserve me... lololololol

Probably wouldn't want me either.

Okay, this topic is now closed. If you were offended, I am sorry. Not my intention. But if you were, maybe you stop suppressing change, and stop pushing your beliefs on others. If you can't handle what all I've said, take a deep breath, think about all that I've covered, remember that I'm a good person. And if you still can't handle it, don't pick a fight... the door is open for both entering and leaving. I would miss ya, but seriously people... this topic has NEVER been worth it.

Never...

So, here is to hoping that this topic can be.closed for good...

Even though I know I won't...

Oh well...

I know 2014 isn't quite over, but it is coming to an end soon... so I thought I would touch on the three things that define my 2014, one good, one bad, one a bit of both.

Let's start with bad...

I'm not going to spend too much time on this one becuase I did a big blog about it already. I have a few heroes in this world... Mick Foley... my Mom and Dad. But I lost one thing year. The funniest man ever in this great world, Robin Williams. Taking his own life... exiting this world early. Extinguishing his own light... sometimes light just can't survive in the pitch black darkness. Still sorely missed, but I'm still carrying on with the good fight...

What about the bit of both...

I officially became a Diabetic this year. Ended up heading to the ER with a Blood Sugar of 997, near diabetic coma levels. It took me about a week or so to drop down to a "normal" level. I've done a decent job at keeping my sugar at those levels, I've only spiked maybe 3 times since I've been sick, I have more issues with my sugar going to low. For those of you that have never experienced either, when my sugar was the 900 range, I wasn't hungry, I couldn't stop drinking(liquids... not alcohol lol), my mouth was so damn dry, I couldn't stop going to the bathroom, when I went to the bathroom my pee smelled like Sugar Puffs cereal(or Smacks, if you like the frog mascot), I couldn't see, I couldn't think. When my sugar drops lower than it should, I get shaky, I can't think, my hands stop working as well as they should, I can barely talk, and my bones felt like they turn to Jell-O... basically I lose the strength to be able to hold my body up. If I had a choice, I wouldn't do either, but I would take my sugar going high than low. The feeling I get from going too low is extremely scary. And there is no real rhyme or reason or warning when it does. It just does. Now where is the good in this? I have done everything I can to change my habits. I've been eating healthier overall, and not only that, I've lost weight. Last I checked, I had lost roughly 35 pounds in 3 months, now I'm 3 belt notches and I would say another 10 pounds down. So, about 45 pounds, 3 belt notches, and below 400 for the first time in quite awhile. I feel good about that. Those changes, along with the support of my friends, my family, my direct co-workers, and my girl... this Diabetic Negative has come with a Healthier Positive.

Now for the good...

Krystle. You have officially been identified. As I said, she is my girl, my love, my sweetheart, my Cara Mia. Someone that gets me... ME. Can you believe that? To be honest, sometimes, I still doubt myself. Those of you who have known me for quite awhile, you know of my theory: nice guys don't finish last, they don't finish the race at all. And all I've ever wanted is to finish one. Now, I can't say that I've finished a race, because I know there is plenty of it left(first real optimistic thing I've said in quite awhile), but I'm happy to say that I have found someone to ride along together. That's right, I'm happy... and note, I said ride along together. Not with me. Not me with her. Together. As equals...

But I do doubt myself with her. Not because she has given me a reason, because she hasn't... because for the longest time, I've been self-defeating... and the fact that I have someone that I can trust by my side... I haven't had that. And so far, I think I've done a pretty damn good job not messing that up.

What I'm saying is this... I've finally found someone that I love... and loves me. Someone that my daughter likes too. Someone makes me happy... yes... me... happy...... and I was seriously losing hope... happy is a better H word anyway.

It still feels so damn weird saying the words "I am happy".

Baby... it's been a wonderful 5 months. 5 months started by taking a huge risk that turned into the best thing that has happened to me in so long. 5 down... many many many to go.

Sometimes it is hard for me to say what I'm thinking or how I am feeling. It gets all tangled up. But on here... nothing gets left out. Love you Cara Mia. I'm one lucky guy.

It was bound to happen sooner or later... I had a good year for once...

So... what does 2015 have in store for me? For once, I'm excited to find out...

Well well well. It seems that it is time for for a new FTW... and this one has been brewing for quite some time...

So let's get down to it...

I say "Fuck Walmart".

Now I know the rules, I can't bad mouth on social media. This isn't social media, so kiss it.

Walmart. The Economic Juggernaut. Plowing down prices and killing Mom and Pop businesses for years. All the while, cracking a whip at those who help build it. Remind you of anything? Looks like Ancient Egypt to me.

This is a company who prides itself on slashing prices over the competition, while treating it's employees like shit, and paying them a wage that barely gets them by enough that they can only afford Walmart's product. There are many times when I've heard that hours got cut because sales are down or we have to cut overtime, while at the same time, they can't hire enough good help or treat the help with enough respect that they want to stay. Last time I checked, Walmart was one of the BIGGEST companies in the world, makes money hand over fist, and produces enough PR bullshit, the outhouse is overflowing. You can't tell me you can't make enough money to support your employees... hire some more to open more lanes and keep the shelves stocked... and that isn't just one store, that seems to be all of them. I can't tell you how many times a family members has complained to me about every time they are in my store somethinf in particular is not on the shelf... I know I know. If they hired enough people to do it, and then treat them with enough respect to keep them, then we wouldn't wouldn't have this issue.

Respect. The biggest thing missing from Walmart anymore. So many levels of management, you know one is bound to be a lunatic with their hand on a cat-o-nine-tales. We had to deal with one of this this year/last year. She treated everyone like she was entitled to respect, when it was obvious she had no idea what she was doing. Simple truth. Managers are NOT entitled to respect. The employees are. At least the ones that know what they are doing. If you(as a manager) start showing respect and acknowledgment to those that know what they are doing(and sometimes to those that don't), not only will you see that respect come back, but you just might see an increase in efficiency, productivity, and a willingness to do it. Do the opposite, you get the opposite. Simple, right?

Tactics. A so-called decrease in sales... so what do they do? They force a new dress code change... and start selling "dress code approved" apparel for you to buy. Now, it doesn't affect me directly because my department already had that, but what about others? I know if I didn't already have them, I wouldn't have been able to afford them. Sure, my store sells the required articles, but I'm a fluffy guy, I can't wear anything Walmart sells... so that would've been $40-$60 for each new shirt I would've had to shell out, and considering the lack of new vests they had for people my size, and how many are waiting for them still, how many of those fluffy people would have to shell out that kind of cash for the required shirts. I could go on... but you get the idea... what was the point of a dress code change? Oh yeah... so Walmart could get us to spend more of the money we already didn't at our own store.

Money. All of this... over money. Hand over fist... hand over fucking fist. So... what about a pay raise? Either from the company, or the government, something has to give. The price of gas still sucks... the cost of basic items are still climbing... and Walmart... they have done nothing for the employees. The spokes that make the wheels turn. I dunno about anyone else, if I made more money, I would probably be spending it at my own store. Guess what? Sales would go up...

Letting their people down. Everything that has gone on personally this year, the worst thing was becoming a Diabetic. That sucks. But thankfully I have my insurance to help me out... at least until the end on the year. The first year I have ever need to use my Walmart insurance, and they are dropping me because I don't average 30 hours a week... but I would probably be averaging 30 hours a week if they wouldn't have cut my hours so much earlier this year... so why am I losing my issurance? Because my store let me down.

I know I've used A LOT of "me"s and "I"s in this, but I want you to think about something... how many people work for Walmart? How many people feel the same way I do? Probably more than you think. How many of them are too scared to speak up for fear of retaliation? Almost all of them. I know I don't exactly speak for everyone, and I know I'm only one man, and I know in the world of Walmart I'm not important, but sometimes...

It just takes one Spark...

And that is that...

-------------------

That concludes this edition of FTW.

Remember kids, Walmart may have an open door, but sometimes an open door can lead straight to hell...

Well... it's been even longer since I've done an Anatomy post... let's see if I still got it.

I haven't bought very many albums since I last did an Anatomy post. I should've done one for Gary Allan's "Set You Free", mainly for "It Ain't The Whiskey". Because he IS my favorite artist.

BUT the subject of this Anatomy is Big & Rich. If Gary is my fave artist, then Big & Rich would be my fave duo. Their sound has always been unique, ranging from rockin' country like "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)" to wedding ballads like "Lost In This Moment" to just cool crooning like "Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace".

A couple years ago, Big Kenny Alphin had to have surgery on his throat, so his partner John Rich released a solo album that gave us "Shutting Detroit Down". So when Big Kenny came back, he released a solo album as well that gave us "Long After I'm Gone". But fans wanted them to reunite. And they did... with "Hillbilly Jedi". I don't want to say that it was bad, because none of their stuff has been bad... just wasn't as good as I had hoped...

Well, this past Tuesday(Sept 23, 2014), we got "Gravity". And it is definitely up to par. Back to "Lost In This Moment" territory. Now, I don't listen to the radio right now(my car stereo decided it was time to die), so I don't know what single has hit from it yet... but I've picked two of the songs from "Gravity" to share the lyrics for. I hope you enjoy... I will have more info after the lyrics...

---------------

"Thank God For Pain"

Crushed, smoked, twisted up
And burned like a cigarette
Tossed away
In the rain with no regret
I've been dying on
The bad side of a goodbye
One fall away from the edge
When you kissed me back to life

Thank God for Pain
Cause I never would've known
That love could feel this way
And I know it sounds insane
But thank God for scars
Cause every jagged little one
Got me closer to where we are
And if I hadn't been ripped apart
I never would've kissed your face
Thank God For Pain

I was left, I was lost
Heartbroke, down, and out of luck
I was used, all confused
I was covered up and black and blue
If I'd never known that hurt
Or felt that misery
I'd have never known baby
How much you mean to me

Thank God for Pain
Cause I never would've known
That love could feel this way
And I know it sounds insane
But thank God for scars
Cause every jagged little one
Got me closer to where we are
And if I hadn't been ripped apart
I never would've kissed your face
Thank God For Pain

------------------

"Gravity"

They say Gravity
Keeps our feet on the ground
It's just something you can't get around
It's just the way it is
But when I'm flying high
Tangled up with you at night
Ain't no doubt in my mind
What makes us spin

Lovers make the world go round
Like nothing else on this Earth
Love keeps our head above the clouds
When the rain is beating down
I can count on you
You can always lean on me
I know we're gonna carry through
Cause that's what lovers do
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round

We get all caught up in
Things that don't mean nothing
Push us so far
It'll test our faith
So let's pull a little closer
Take the weight off of our shoulders
And remember there's one thing
That'll never change

Lovers make the world go round
Like nothing else on this Earth
Love keeps our head above the clouds
When the rain is beating down
I can count on you
You can always lean on me
I know we're gonna carry through
Cause that's what lovers do
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round
Lovers make the world go round
And round and round and round and round

-------------------

Reasons I picked these two songs. Well, for one, I am dedicating them my Princess Daisy... but other reason. I think "Thank God For Pain" is almost about me. I haven't gotten to the point where I can be thankful for my pain, but I'm grateful for the destination it has gotten me to. "Gravity" is just good writing. It equates gravity to the pull of lovers... and yes, both make the world go round.

Plus, I just like the songs.

If you are a fan of Big & Rich, buy this album. If you are a fan of country music without prejudice, but this album. If you aren't either of those, go download it illegally, listen to it, and then feel bad about not buying this great album.

"Gravity" and "Thank God For Pain" aren't the only good tracks... check out "Look At You", "Brand New Buzz", "Don't Wake Me Up", and even though it's a cheatin' song... "Lovin' Lately w/ Tim McGraw" is an excellent song, and some of the best harmony vocals I've heard in a while...

Well... that's it for this edition of Anatomy of a Song. Tune in next time when I go back and do "Set You Free" by Gary Allan...... and later on when I tackle the "Awesome Mix Vol 1" from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

I don't remember my Anatomy sign off... so whatever...

I've never had a post so hard for me to find words for, but I did want to wait until I was ready to touch on this subject. Bear with me, there may be some rambling, and I know I have some tears in there. But I think I got this. What topic?......

Robin Williams...

You could say that Robin Williams was an interesting character... you would be wrong. He was alot of interesting characters. He could be funny, he could be serious and dramatic, he could be both. And I'm going to touch on some of my favorite aspects of his career.

I will start up with his stand up. There was no one better. NO ONE. And that is saying alot considering comedians like George Carlin and Joan Rivers. Robin was unique. He was stable and unstable at the same time. He was erratic yet calm. And he was incredible at self-awareness. Every stand up DVD special he did, he always touched on the different phases of addiction he went through, and wasn't shy about making jokes about himself at his own expense because of it. And self-aware...... the first special, he even mentioned himself going off on tangents and different directions. Why? He would be in a story, and go off in a random direction like flipping a switch, spend a few minutes on a random topic, and come right back where he left off. No losing his way. All of the way, he was going Mach 4, not missing a beat, perfect delivery every time, and if he did make a mistake, he instantly made it a part of the bit... and improv will always be where he excelled. If Jonathan Winters would be the Grandfather of Improv, Robin Williams would be the Father of it. For stand up... for improv... no one was better. And in a comedy world where using vulgar language is a crutch(and I loooooooove Lewis Black), Robin used it as a humorous weapon. Everything combined, on stage... NO ONE WAS BETTER!

What about TV? I don't have much to say about that because there wasn't as much from him. But I will touch on Mork & Mindy. The show that GAVE us Robin Williams. He took a cameo character on Happy Days, and earned his own show based on it. A show about an alien adapting to human life. It took a TV standard set by The Jeffersons(turning a role on one show into your own show), and set two more standards of it's own: a comedian getting their own show and basing the material on their own stand up AND the show eventually failing because of producer changes. Mork & Mindy was hilarious... but the execs wanted to change it, and it ruined it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, ask Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, Rodney Carrington, Whitney Cummings, and the late Greg Giraldo just how well their sitcoms worked out(George Lopez, Tim Allen, & Louis CK got lucky, really).

Now what about movies? What Robin Williams movie is your favorite? For me? Almost all of them. So many good movies, and of course... most of them are funny. Look at his line of work...
"Good Morning Vietnam" gave him something special, the chance to use his voice...
"Awakenings" how many actors can you say out acted Robert DeNiro?...
"Popeye" he had to do a musical...
"Patch Adams" funny, sad, uplifting... you know you cried...
I could keep on going, so I will touch on my faves...
"Aladdin"... first time a MAJOR actor lent his voice to a Disney animated movie, and they couldn't have made a better decision. Robin improv-ed all of his own lines, and Disney animators made the movie around it. Tell me, if it hadn't been Robin, would it have been as good?
"Mrs. Doubtfire"... Robin as a cross dressing granny. Amazing performance. Sad movie as much as it was funny. And the scene where Mrs. Selner makes the apartment visit, he went to change out of the prosthesis, and held a conversation with her as two different characters, as three different characters in the same conversation... without missing a beat.
"Good Will Hunting"... serious movie that earned Robin his only Oscar... sad he only had one, because he deserved so many more.
"Insomnia"... Christopher Nolan's crime drama. Did you think Robin Williams could pull that off? I did. Now we all do.
"The Birdcage"... based on a Broadway play about a gay couple meeting their son's in-laws, one who happens to be a politician, while trying to hide that they are gay. Robin playing the "straight" one, was surprising, and with Nathan Lane bouncing off of him as the feminine one(fuck... no pun intended), and Gene Hackman... it was a funny and unique film. Robin and Nathan needed more work together.
"What Dreams May Come"... a vivid take on life, death, suicide, Heaven, Hell, and how love can rise above all of it.
And so many many many many more... I would be at this all night...

But there is one movie I have to talk about. "Bicentennial Man". This movie has a love/hate relationship with the moviegoers. I personally love it, and now... I think it may be his most important film. Why? I can now see it as an allegory of Robin's own life. His character was Andrew. A servant. Giving his life for the betterment of other people. But quickly, he and everyone else realized he is different than all of the other servants. That he was unique. It took awhile for him to decide to strike out on his own, and make his own mark in his own life, but still didn't feel like he totally separated himself from the need to be that same kind of servant. After he got the acceptance he needed, he sets out again, and fights through years of depression to find out why he was so unique, and failed at finding someone just like him. Because there would never be anyone quite like him. That discovery led him to want to become more human, and want to lead a normal life, even though he knew he couldn't completely. Even finding love, even though it wasn't enough for him to achieve normalcy. And wanted to die a normal death... a release from his unique exsistance. Oh, did I mention Andrew was a robot? Why not? Because anyone who has gone through that kind of depression feels nothing more than a robot while going through it... so... Yes? No?

What about his end? The man committed suicide. He couldn't handle it anymore. He knew how much he was loved, and he still took his own life. People have probably given him shit now because he took his own life, but I understand it. I've been there. I know the feeling. Robin killed himself, but he didn't do anything wrong. I've really searched my feelings about it, and I now I truly believe that was going to be his end all along. I hate to say it that way... but it's true. Comedians are sometimes the saddest people. And Robin Williams was the funniest robot we have ever seen. It is still a shock, but I believe he wanted that release. I don't think he could see himself not being that robot anymore, serving us normals. I know he loved his family, I know he loved his friends, and I know he loved us fans. I also know he knew how much all of us loved him... and sometimes it isn't enough. Not sure if something was missing or if he was afraid... but whatever it was, I understand. I will always understand.

Robin Williams was my hero. He was a good man. A funny man. A humanitarian. And one of the greatest actors to ever grace ANY screen. A good friend of mine pointed out that I get my comedy from him. She is right. But I didn't get just that. Robin had always been an inspiration to me that no matter what, humor conquers all, and you can always learn to be a better person.

He was special. He had to be special. He was roommates with Christopher Reeve at Juilliard School of the Performing Arts. And when Christopher ended up paralyzed, the first person to make him laugh was his friend Robin. Robin Williams was good enough to make Superman laugh...

I think that makes him a BETTER best friend than that poser Jimmy Olson...

Don't you think?

It hurt when I heard the news. It still hurts now. It will hurt tomorrow. It will hurt years from now.

I lost a piece of myself on August 11th, 2014.

Maybe... just maybe... I can carry a piece of Robin Williams with me as I go forward.

Since then, we have lost Joan Rivers...

Johnny Carson, George Burns, George Carlin, Joan Rivers, and Robin Williams... the Mount Rushmore of Comedy is now all gone...

Robin... I will miss you...

You are STILL my hero...

~The Master is Out

"OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN!!!"

Post your thoughts on here or on my Facebook what you think...

And your opinion... I want to link this to his daughter Zelda. I know she had issues with jackasses on Twitter, and I wanna know if you think I should? Did I wait too long? Would it even matter? I need feedback on this... thank you ahead of time.

So many times I could have posted something, so many reviews I could've done, and it just isn't something I could bring myself to do. So many things on my mind, so many things that I've wanted to do, so many times I've wanted to speak my mind.

And then I finally decided I need to speak.

I'm going to address something that I didn't do this year, because they were close to the same as last year... my New Year's Revolutions.

Usually I just give up on them, because what's the point... but this time I didn't, and it took longer than 2013, but I got most of them. I won't address them in order, but I will... let's begin.

I said I wanted to lose weight. Well, it took getting a scare to get it done, but it is working. I am now a diabetic, and it's okay. Not a total change, but it was an awakening. Not just the diabetes, but personal inspiration... I will get to that later... but the weight loss... I think about 35 pounds in 3 months is a good thing. More to hopefully come.

What about being a doormat? Nope. Not anymore. The power is back in my hands, and feels pretty good. I'm still a little too hard on myself, and there is still a list of things I want to change... but I'm finally going in the right direction. One step at a time.

Now I did mention decorating some closets. I was referring to showing more support for LGBT. I need to do more of that... some of it is out of hand. My state is still being a bitch and not letting these people get married... sometimes I'm ashamed to be a Hoosier... but I'm here anyway.

My voice... well, you see how often I make blog posts now? I'm not doing anything with my voice. Things aren't as bad, so I don't have anything to FTW about... but I might soon. Gimme a few days... I got one. Plus I have something important to blog about... might do that tonight... point is, you will hear more from me... that IS a promise.

Now, the last one I'm most proud of. Um... guess who isn't single anymore? Yeah... I know... shocks me too. And technically, I did what everyone told me to do. I stopped looking... she found me. Granted, I pulled a move I never thought I could... and it worked. What the fuck, right? But me... I found someone, er... she found ME. Me... and like I said, I'm proud. She seems to be the perfect match for me. So much so, it is hard to describe. I do know this... she's got a horrible case of the geek... and that's awesome, cause I already had it, and it just makes me that more contagious. Would you say I'm in love? You bet... oh, I mentioned inspiration. Well, there she is. I won't mention her name on here, until I get permission, because those are my rules on here... but I'm sure she knows who she is. I am Luigi and she is my Princess Daisy(why not Mario? Because fuck Mario!) I love you Cara Mia.

So... you could say, over the course of the last 20+ months, alot of things have changed. Some really sad, but most have been for the better. And I have my Jace & Liliana for that(again, they know who they are)(COOOOOOOOOOOKIES!!!!!!!). They helped me in so many ways. Including being the driving force behind preventing the one thing that has nearly almost always gotten in my way......

Giving up...

Thanks bro and sis... I owe you...

I think I found my voice again...

Sounds different... yet... strangely familiar...

Oh...... WHAT ABOUT BOB?!?

I didn't forget you either...

~The Master is Out

So let's get to it, shall we?

The New Review

RoboCop (2014)
Directed by José Padilha
Starring Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish

Background Check: This film is a remake/reboot/revisioning of the original RoboCop movie released in 1987, starring Peter Weller and Nancy Allen. A hopeful technological and graphical rehash of a legendary cult...... No no... A true classic. Part man. Part machine. All Cop.

Concept: Detective Alex Murphy is nearly killed by an explosion. Raymond Sellars and OmniCorp use Alex Murphy and a shitload of science to "put a man in a machine" to win over the public. While putting their reputation on the line for a new product in law enforcement, Murphy tries to reclaim his humanity and reconnect with his family. Which will break? Murphy or the system?

Execution: (slight change in format... Action will now apply to the "action" of the movie, depending on the genre. Humor makes more sense merged into it. Humor will be replaced by Appeal)

Cast: This cast is star-studded. Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Jackie Earle Haley, Samuel L. Jackson. Bringing a new star to the fore front in Joel Kinnaman(unless you watch The Killing on AMC or caught the remake of Evil Dead, he is new-ish). The only casting questions I have are about Abbie Cornish and John Paul Ruttan, who play the wife and son of Alex. I give the kid a pass, but Abbie Cornish seemed dry to me. Maybe it was the point, but she wasn't as believable as a wife of a walking metal corpse as I thought she could be. Score: 8.5/10

Characters: This Alex Murphy was a better one than the original. The original was more robotic, this one was more organic. Raymond Sellars was a better villain than Dick Jones. Mattox was no Boddicker... And neither was Vallon... But Clarence Boddicker in the original was special. Score: 9.5/10

Story: THIS. This is the reason to watch the movie. This remake has a story that doesn't let the viewer down. Drama. Action. Technology. It all blends together into a period piece for a period that hasn't happened yet. This is the category where this movie shines over its predecessors... The originals were action driven, this one was story driven. Score: 10/10

Visual: Overall, visually stunning. But I do have some issues with the motion sickness inducing opening scenes. The cameraman might've been extremely drunk, but if you can get through it, makes up for it. Reality and CGI are seamless. Score: 8.5/10

Sound: No real issues here. Nothing to mention... Except a particular scene involving music. No spoiler, but leaving for later. Score: 9/10

Action: This is an action remake of an action classic...but... The original was R, this one is PG-13. Can you tell? Yes. The grisly deaths do make the original so damn awesome, and that is missing... But plenty of the action scenes do make you wonder it was necessary.(yes I'm serious) Instead of grotesque R-rating pushing kills, you get mission based action, and I'm all for the execution of that plan. Score: 9.5/10

Flow: I have an issue with anything breaking the flow, regardless of what the reason, or how important the interruption is. This movie has those. Each of the dramatic family scenes do just that... BUT each of them add a dimension to the story, and much needed addition. Those family scenes have their own flow. Both elements seem to merge and reach the same place. So this time, I accept the break. Score: 9.5/10

Closure: Along with flow, the movie must have a definitive end. This one does just that, without saying "hey, sequel", but it gave the wonder of a possibility. That being said, we did have that definitive ending... Which was one my only gripes about the original. Score: 9/10

Appeal: Like cop movies? You're good. Sci-fi? Duh. Period piece? Yep. Straight up action flick? It's there. Drama? Check. Star-stacked cast? You bet. And the best part, amazingly blended together into a complete film. Not long it drags, not too short making you wish for more. And as a remake, stays true to the source material while etching out its own story. Too much? No... Perfect? No... But great enough to be awesome for mass appeal. Score: 9.5/10

Extra Oomph: What extra thing could this movie have that gives that extra entertaining value? The original had commercials and news reports that made it feel like a period piece. Who remembers the SUX 6000? Or John Glover trying to sell a car security system that fried the thief by electrocution? Or the model who covered herself in blue sunblock just she could take a dip in the pool? This remake had something equivalent. Samuel L. Jackson would cut in playing a character named Pat Novak, in an editorial style news program called The Novak Effect. Pat Novak ended up being the black Glenn Beck. Yes, I said that. He was entertaining, and after the third/fourth time, you started hating him. And it was glorious. It fit, it stung, and delivered with such perfection, I'm saying it now... If a sequel does come, Sam Jackson and the Novak Effect better be a package deal. Score: 10/10

Final Score: 93/100. A- See, an A-
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
Conclusion: As a movie, it's a great movie. The right amount of action. The right amount of drama. The right amount of humor. The right amount of homage to the original. The right amount of new school technology. A mixing pot of elements, that create an amazing stew.

FINAL JUDGMENT: Go see this fucking movie. Period. If you are a fan of the originals(RoboCop 3 not included), you will be surprised and satisfied by this movie. The only way this movie would've been any better is if Abbie Cornish was in the theater giving me head during the movie. Might've been a better use of her talent... Maybe. I actually had low-moderate expectations for this revision, and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. And YOU will be too...
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
So there it is, I have given "RoboCop(2014)" a 93. Pretty damn good I think.

Now... I had a scene for you referencing sound. I don't usually mention soundtrack, unless it makes an impact to the flow of the movie(insert horror film here). But... This one scene. Haley's character is Mattox, who has the job of weapons training for the mechs, which of course includes Murphy. He doesn't put much stock into Robo, but regardless, he sets up a simulation to show Murphy's efficiency compared to a regular mech. Mattox tells Dr. Norton(Oldman), "if you don't mind, I work better with music."(something at least close to that) And what does he play? The song the Tin-Man sings from "The Wizard of Oz".

Yes... Seriously... That would be classified as a highlight on the Wide World of Funny Shit.

That concludes this edition of "The New Review"

It's been a really long time since I've post ANY kind of post, so feel lucky I'm doing it now.

Since 2012 was full of shit, hopefully 2013 won't be so bad.

Let's find out, shall we...

But let me start by continuing my tradition of setting multiple New Year's Revolutions. Yeah, I know they are supposed to be called Resolutions, but trust me, I know my own life. It takes a revolution to keep fate from kicking my ass.

So, how about we get to that list.

My New Year's Revolutions: 2013 Edition

1. Single Life Sucks: yeah, the usual one. I hope to nail this thing to the wall. Wait, maybe I should've used a different choice of words. Oh well... Anyway, I hope to be able to find at least someone that will deal with this useless pile of particles. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't be so hard on myself. Ha, that gives me an idea.

2. My Own Doormat: stop being so fucking hard on myself. Confidence is something I've never had, but maybe if I didn't try so hard to get in my own way, maybe that would change.

Blog More: I haven't posted anything since July. I've tried, I really have, but the urge, the inspiration just hasn't been there. Depression does that to you.

Decorate Some Closets: I couldn't help it. Really, this one just means to start showing more support for the LGBT Community. I've always supported them, but maybe they need another big man's voice to help out. I doubt it, but dammit, some needs to.
Lose More Weight: I'm trying, have been... No diet necessary. This one is just here because most people already say it...

Use My Voice More: That's supposed to be what blogging was for, but due to social media, it has been shrunken down to mere moments. Not saying I'm canceling the blog, because THAT will never happen. I just to utilize all of my outlets in the way I want to. No more filters, no more fillers, no more bullshit... What I want, how I want to say it, when I want to say it.

The Dark Knight Rises
Directed by Christopher Nolan
Starring: Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Jump with me

Background Check: Well, it's Batman... what else do you need to know? Oh yeah, going in, you should know/should've known that this was going to be the last of the Christopher Nolan Batman movies, and that he was going to go all out. Did he do it?

Concept: The last of the Christopher Nolan Batman Trilogy, at the end of The Dark Knight, Batman was branded a murderer for taking the fall for Harvey Dent's murder... it's been years, how has Gotham fared with Batman gone, and with a terrorist like Bane coming to the city, how will it be saved?

Execution
Cast: With Bale, Caine, Freeman, Oldman all returning, plus a purrfect Anne Hathaway, a beautiful Marion Cotillard, a kick ass Tom Hardy, and an always evolving Joseph Gordon-Levitt... Damn Score: 10/10

Characters: Returning cast/characters already established, Selena Kyle was introduced just as she should've, Detective John Blake was giving an important role in such a large universe, and Bane was more of a stone cold killer than I could've ever expected. Perfection, just like the first two movies Score: 10/10

Story: Wow. Yeah, it was a 2hr 45min movie, but it was also the best storytelling of the entire Trilogy. Not only did it tell the story, but it also tied the entire Trilogy together, through small details and flashbacks that made those small details even bigger... Big enough that I am envious of all of those in my area that got to watch the $25 Trilogy showing on July 19, because the story told would've been even better...... Yeah, you know it Score: 13/10

Visual: I was on the edge of my seat... Dark, but in your face... Wow Score: 10/10

Sound: The wonderful musical score has been a big part of every Batman movie so far, even the Tim Burton ones... and this one does not disappoint Score: 10/10

Action: Small scale focused fights, large scale army warfare, and even a focused one on one fight in the middle of the large scale battle... It was beautifully put together, I could barely believe what I was seeing. Score: 12/10

Humor: The whole series didn't have alot, and it wasn't needed. This one more serious, more dark, more brooding, and there was no use for it... Minor being acceptable, and that's what we got. Score: 10/10

Flow: The Trilogy has flowed so well overall, and this one kept it going. No break, no stopping... A train that was barreling down the track from Hollywood, and yes, it does come in black... Score: 10/10

Closure: Yeah, it did that. It did that with one of the best endings for a superhero movie I have ever seen, complete with the unexpected... Conclusion: This movie isn't just epic, it's iconic... and yes, I may be biased because I'm a hardcore Batman fan... but I'm not when it comes to movie, I have the rubber nipple and codpiece fuck-up "Batman and Robin" to thank for that...... but I'm not kidding when I saw "The Dark Knight Rises" is one of the best, if not the best movie I have ever seen... Period, no negotiation, no excuse, no bias, fan of Batman or not, this is a Masterpiece on it's own, and makes The Dark Knight Trilogy the best trilogy ever made. Even better than Star Wars & Lord of the Rings... If this doesn't get nominated for Best Picture, it's a huge mistake... and Tom Hardy... well, he delivered an Oscar worthy performance as well... he MADE this movie...
The New Review

The Amazing Spider-man
Directed by Marc Webb
Starring: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary

Jump with me

Background Check: Well, Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire got really pissed and walked out on production of Spider-man 4(and 5), and instead of going forward, Marvel decided to reboot the series... well, did it work? It needed to, because Spider-man 3 was a clusterfuck

Concept: Going back to when Peter Parker first got bitten, before he dated Mary Jane Watson, before he even got out of High School... the real beginning of Spider-man, while telling the little talked about story of what the hell happened to Peter's parents

Execution
Cast: Emma Stone is hot, as Gwen Stacy she was awesome. Rhys Ifans, I wasn't worried at all, I have simply loved Rhys' work. I was worried about Andrew Garfield, and I honestly think he was a better Spidey that Tobey Maguire... Throw in Denis Leary as Capt. Stacy plus Sally Field and Martin Sheen as Aunt May & Uncle Ben Parker... it deserves it Score: 10/10

Characters: Gwen was great, Connors/Lizard was near perfect, minor characters where nicely placed, but Peter was alittle too fresh with his moves on Gwen to be the nerdy Peter we all loved in the comics... but maybe he was closer to a nerdy Peter of today(would make sense)... But my favorite character move was Norman Osborn. We never saw his face. Not once. Score: 8/10

Story: This is what set this one aside from the Raimi Trilogy. This story was exactly what the franchise needed. It was dark, brooding, and extremely serious... and it worked. Only issue I had with it at all was Uncle Ben's death was highly anti-climactic, unlike the Raimi original. This time, it seemed important, but not as important enough to the story as it should've been... Score: 9.5/10

Visual: Again, dark and brooding where it needed to be, and it was great the way it made the movie feel... I think it could've been alittle more dark, but again, it IS Spider-man Score: 8/10
Sound: It was great, not perfect, but great... I'll go with Score: 9/10

Action: I think this was an issue. Yeah, there was some action, and some very, very, very good fight scenes, I just think it needed maybe one more. You saw Spidey in action, but I think another mid-level fight scene would've be Amazing Score: 8/10

Humor: While this movie was as serious as it was, Spidey is known for his wisecracks to break HIS OWN personal tension, and this movie delivered... Score: 10/10

Flow: This movie was great with the flow. There were no unneeded extra flashbacks, nothing to distract from the story directly, and making Osborn virtually unknown to the viewer, so nothing deviated from the original story it was trying to tell Score: 10/10

Closure: This story wrapped up, you got a good feel of where it was going, and where it could go, and an extra scene during the credits made to set up for the next movie actually followed the formula of the movie as a whole... Score: 10/10

Extra Oomph: So, I wasn't happy with Peter being too fresh with Gwen... I wasn't all this impressed with Uncle Ben's murder... But there were three great points to mention that counteracted that... Peter couldn't shoot webs in the comics, he had to build web shooters he invented(check), he got the idea from wrestling(check for at least referenced), and this movie didn't have MJ Watson... Score: 9/10

Final Score: 91.5/100 A- Still better than the Raimi Trilogy

Conclusion: I'm happy they rebooted it. It needed it, to patch the holes Raimi kept stretching open with each movie. Just imagine if Spider-man 4 would've been finished after the shitty third one? This was the way to go, and if Marvel Studios can continue with a sequel that feels just as serious as this one, it would be the best thing Marvel can do for Spider-man since the 90's animated series.
It's all a matter of opinion: I cannot stress enough that THIS is MY opinion, you can either agree with me or not... FINAL JUDGMENT: Go see it, you will at least be pleased. Seriously... see it... buy it... see it again... Repeat as needed...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There ya go... "The Amazing Spider-man" gets a 91.5...... an A- like I gave "X-Men: First Class"... so if you liked that movie, you will like this one too...
Well, The Avengers... the greatest movie team up of all time... Did it work?
The New Review

Marvel's The Avengers
Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, and many others

Background Check: This is what Marvel Studios was toward for a handful of years. Get Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and some not so minor heroes like Black Widow and Hawkeye established... then team them up to kick major ass. How did it work? Did it work? Did it deserve all that money it made? Was it enough for Joss Whedon to build a real Iron Man suit?

Concept: Earth's Mightiest Heroes teaming up to take down Thor's brother Loki and his alien army invading the Earth... pretty simple, right?

Execution
Cast: Downey, Evans, Hemsworth, Johannson, Jackson, Renner, Hiddleston, Ruffalo... You knew exactly what you were getting into when you signed up for this movie, and it didn't disappoint. It actually surprised me just how well they worked together. Score: 10/10

Characters: There was no character development, BUT that's what the solo movies were for, that is how this program was designed, which worked out well for the main cast, but what about Fury, what about Hawkeye... maybe just alittle more background on those two would've been cool. Maybe just a flashback sequence or something. But in the grand scheme, it doesn't make as much of an impact. Score: 8/10
Story: This is a build-up story. You know that's what the solo movies were for, and this was just the climax chapter of a really good book. With that in mind, this movie still had enough of a story/plot, that it didn't feel like it was disconnected. Extra Oomph: Here's the thing... you knew what to expect from Downey, Hemsworth, Evans, Jackson... But there were two wildcards: Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo. Ruffalo replaced the excellent Edward Norton as Banner/Hulk, and I think he did a better job. Renner... well, I think he stole the show... Enough so, that I personally think he took some of the thunder from the headliners. That's a good thing, but somewhat of a bad thing too. Also, I'd like to point out, if you missed any of the Solo series, you might be lost if you don't know comics... those two combined, I'm forced to go... Score: 8/10
Oh, and Jeremy Renner was so awesome as Hawkeye, he should get his own damn movie. Was this movie worth it? Did it earn the records/money it made? You bet it did!!!
Those of you that have been reading my blogs for some time already know most of this, so this is for the newer-ish readers out there......... and yeah, it IS directed at one person in particular, but the IDEA of it applies to everyone who has ever stopped by my blog(s)...........

So here it is...

I was accused of intentionally hurting someone with a blog...... at least that's what I'm guessing...... if not, oops... but I'm willing to bet the farm I never started on Farmville... and if that is the case, then this post is truly meant for her......

I'm going to type it word for word as it would've been on my Facebook... (no copy and paste cause it's on my iPod)......

Read it, and understand...

I say how I feel and what I want in my blogs... If you read it, that's your choice... If you are offended, that's because you are the problem... If you feel hurt, I'm not glad, but that does mean you feel remorse...... I've been kicked around by too many people I've trusted...... It's not an excuse, it's a reason...... Do I truly wish ill on another human being? No... But deep down inside, I believe all that have done me wrong should be punished...... I say my peace and attempt to lock the pain away...... I HAVE to... If I don't, it'll affect everything I do and everything I have left...... If you ever cared or if you never did at all, know this... I hope that if you never come back to me, that you will look back and see the pain you've caused to someone you called a "good guy"...... and you never make the mistake of hurting someone in that way again...... The next guy might not be nice enough to leave it at words......... "Spiteful words may hurt you feelings, but silence breaks your heart."..........

I don't hate you... I still care...... and if you wanted True Happiness, you could've had that...... I hope that you find it in your heart to realize the mistake you really made, but more so, I hope that you find your True Happiness somewhere......

There is this feeling deep inside that I should fight for you...... To make you believe................ but I can't... we all make our own choices in life...... Whether it be who you're with, how you deal with pain, what makes you happy...... We all make mistakes like that...... Someday, I hope that I can find even a shred of True Happiness, something I thought I finally found...... but until then, I'm going to enjoy my darkness...... I missed it... my hatred for humanity, or the lack thereof... the pain mulling in my mind... the shadows that fill my heart... the despair... the heartbreak... the sorrow... the self-loathing......... all of this, while channeling it in anger...... IT'LL BE FUN......

Like always...

I'm proud to be The Shadowheart...... Shadows are nothing more than darkness created by light......

I decided to revisit a song for an anatomy post... it randomly come up on my iPod, so I figured I'd post it again(it was on my old myspace blog)... it's appropriate...... maybe two of them... they both came up yesterday...... I'll add a link to this post once I'm done... Might add a third one...... We'll see, won't we...

That's really all I got for right now...... except this... to the same person... thank you for even a small moment of light...... and thank you for the inspiration to start writing again........ I... I love(d) you...... I may not have been given the chance to say it, but it doesn't make the feeling less real...... I have to realize it doesn't matter to anyone but me, but in the end, they say the truth shall set you free......

What I wouldn't give to be free...

If that's the case, Earth is set on it's usual course...

Jump with me, will ya?

The Month from Hell is in full swing this year... My aunt went into ICU due to a mesh rupturing. As she was taken out of ICU, cause she was getting better, we were informed by a family member that my great-uncle Jess had passed away that morning, only to find out she meant to say he wasn't doing that well, and he could go at anytime... all this going on and a girl that found ME on a dating site kicked me aside(because she had someone else) and abandoned me when I needed someone the most, all while telling me I was a good guy, and it was her fault...... All of this over the course of 9-10 days...... So, I thought, let's kick the beast in the teeth and tell everyone my unrealistic birthday wishes...... since the day of doom is inching ever so close...... June 6th needs to just disappear off the calendar this year...

So, what about materialistic things? I'd really like an iPad! And it looks like I'm finally getting one, after two years trying to win one. Sure, it might be the iPad 2, but fuck it, it's MUCH better than none. With it, I intend to start a vlog on YouTube, of course posting it on here for all of my readers to see. What else would I like? How about "Devil May Cry HD Collection" for PS3? That would be cool, only if I could find a copy... that fucker is pretty difficult to capture. I got it! What about a bottle of Gentleman Jack single barrel whiskey? Nice and smooth... Money? I'll take cash... who wouldn't? And because I still play Magic: the Gathering, I'd love to get my hands on either an Innistrad fat pack or Avacyn: Restored fat pack...... but lo and behold, Innistrad is 6 months old, and all the Avacyn: Restored sold out here in Columbus before I could even look at a box... my luck......

How about mythical powers? I would love some of those...... I would enjoy getting Ghost Rider's Penance Stare... I know plenty of people who have done me wrong and would love to see their souls burn!! How about Wolverine's healing factor? Sure, I'd love to feel better, but healing from all the times my heart has been shattered, I would kill for that... figuratively speaking, of course. What about Apocalypse? I want to transcend time. I know it's not his power, but damn it, I can rule the world! If we're going with ruling the world, what about the powers of Onslaught? The infinite power of Charles Xavier and the sheer hatred and supremacy of Magneto... yeah, I'll take that...

Now, what about the things I really want for my birthday? I wanna get laid! Not even sure I care who does it(few exceptions), whether it's just to make me happy, just for fun, or just some random reason, I wanna get laid! Maybe even more than once that week and/or day. THAT would be a way to end The Week From Hell, and of course said Month From Hell!

But in all seriousness, I want one intangible this year... if I can't reset 2012 and do it over, I would love to forget.......... Brook......... she was the greatest thing to happen to me in such a long time. I was told over and over and over again to stop looking, and someone would find me. Poof, there she was... right there... found me... and it was amazing to find such a good person...... until she laid it on me that(in summary) I was a good guy, but apparently not good enough not to look through and look past right into someone else's arms......... the phantom feeling! I'm so used it, it's the sole reason I gave up for so long and proudly became The Shadowheart...... and I've tried so hard to lose control... not to hate again...... for so long people made me so sick... I thought maybe she was different.............. BUT I guess I should thank her... she restored my feeling of hope... hadn't had it for awhile......... so what do you think? Should I forgive her? Should I try and forget her completely? Should I be angry?...... My answer? You all know me, I forgive her...... but only to a point...... that's where my anger takes over and says I hope everything goes wrong for her, and the other guy turns out to be an asshole......... why? To prove her wrong...... I don't want to get hurt, but I hope she feels the pain I have since that day...... abandoning me when I needed someone the most, leaving me with no one........ the day before I was going to tell her I had fallen for her completely......... I believe that people should get what they deserve......... if I'm to finally get what I deserve, she will come back to me...... since I know that's not likely, I shall forgive... I shall forget eventually... I shall hope that all will fall......... there, I got it out...... Brook, there is no True Happiness... Happiness is fleeting...... pain, darkness, sorrow... they remind us who and what we truly are, and what the one truth is......... The One Truth: never believe......

I'm tired of being alone... I wish for once I could have someone that actually wants me... that would be asking for WAY too little that would mean SO MUCH to me......

That's my wish every year...

I don't wanna believe, but I am a true believer...

Hope is the greatest expectation, and I'll never learn how to give up...

Please let the chain of disappointment end this year...... even if it's just one year, it would be a change......

I need that............

Do you recognize that symbol?... That is the symbol for the campaign known as "Above The Influence" aka ATI... It's a program for kids/teens to knock peer pressure back...... To me, it means much much more than that...

Are you ready?

FTW!!!

I say "Fuck Influence"! Of any kind...

Influence is bad, it doesn't matter what kind it is...... What kinds are there? Even the good influence? Yes, all influence

The so-called "good" influence. Maybe it's friends that are just trying to help you... Maybe family members just trying to show you a different way to do things(still legal). Maybe it's a good cause or charity just wanting you to help. Maybe it's those commercials on TV for the ASPCA...... but all of those kinds of "good" influence are bad. Why, Master, Why? Because if you use that kind of influence to make your decisions for you, then you lose a piece of your individuality. A friend example: the movie "Hulk" with Eric Bana. Listening to all my friends, they all said it wasn't any good, not worth my time. But I watched it anyway, and you know what, I liked it. If I would've listened to them, I never would've seen it. Now, I'm not saying you should completely ignore your friends suggestions, but dammit, don't let it be anymore than that. They are YOUR friends, you should respect their opinions and suggestions, but you should NOT live your life by them. Hell, give your own opinion back to them, remind them you are one of them for a reason. Also, I'm not saying to should listen to your family, some of what they have to teach is more of an upbringing than an influence. Your parents are trying to help out, but teaching you, but you still NEED to follow your own path. It may not be the same as your parents/family/friends... it's your own...... do not give in to the "good" influence......

What about "bad" influence? There is plenty of that too. There is peer pressure. Peer pressure could mean alot of different ends/means, but ultimately it refers to alcohol, tobacco, drugs - substance abuse, period. Definitely don't give in to peer pressure, if you wanna try it, I believe a person will, and it should be up to them, consequences included, but don't let a group of your friend talk you into it if you don't want to do it. Now, I'm not condoning drug use, just done get talked into it.......There is also prejudice. What is prejudice? Oppression or unfair treatment due to how someone is different from you, whether it be because you have a different color of skin, have a different religion, overweight(or close to it), different heritage, background, rich/poor...... it does NOT matter what the reason, prejudice is wrong, fine example is the Trayvon Martin killing. I do not care how the media want to twist it, turn it, tweak it, that dickhead that shot him was prejudiced and THAT was a hate crime............... There is also the media. I don't give a shit if you're liberal/conservative... Democrat/Republican... the people of the media are the worst influence. If you use the media to help you make any decision, please please pleeeeeeease return your human registration card to me NOW. The media stands for Majorly Egotistical Dickheads Influence America. They don't care about the truth, they don't care about the people who are watching...... they only care about the money they are making, the time they can be exposed on TV/Radio/Internet, and keeping their job by pushing the fear mongering agenda their bosses are trying to shove down the throats of the only good Americans left................. does that sound like someone you should be listening to? I didn't think so............then there is negative friend influence. I'll give you a personal example. I have a friend. She is a friend I care about very much, and I've known her for nearly 20 years. We could easily be a couple, together for a loooooooong time, but she will never try it, and never listen to me, her so-called best friend, because she has a friend to uses her, bends my friend to her will, and tries to ruin her life....... and my friend has repeatedly told me how much this negative friend really isn't a friend. That's what happen when you let a negative friend influence you that much... you become a puppet...

Then there is Bullying. What is bullying? It is influence by force. There are to kind of bullying: the schoolyard and ideals. Schoolyard bullying is like what you hear about in school. One(or more) kid(s) is(are) mean to and/or beats up another kid to steal their lunch, lunch money, or even personal possessions... or the jocks that beat up the nerd just because they are bigger. It's a way for the bully or bullies to feel bigger by oppressing the smaller person. It's an empowering feeling. And it's wrong. I think those that bully in this way need shown how it feels. Maybe, just maybe, they would stop. I doubt it, but fuck it, it's worth a try.

Then there is Ideal Bullying. This is where someone tries to push you into their way of thinking by any means necessary. Seems lately that one of the fastest growing form is that in the "Belibers" or fans of Justin Bieber. Age, race, sex doesn't matter, they believe that he is the greatest ever. While, I won't knock someone down what they believe in, these misguided people will knock you down for what you don't. Voice your opinion. Say that you don't think Justin Bieber is very good. If there are any "Belibers" within earshot, they will find ways to cut you down, and get others to cut you down too just because you voiced your opinion about him. Fuck that. I don't like the little fucker. I WILL not like the little fucker. There is no one on the planet that will change my opinion about it. It's that kind of thing that sets those assholes off. If you like him, good for you, but no one else has to unless they want to......... Then there is the anti-gay bullshit. That is another form of Ideal Bullying that is even supported but members of OUR OWN government. Wasn't this country built on the principle of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? As long as it's legal and isn't purposely hurting someone(like murder), who are we as a society to tell someone else what their form of happiness can or can't be. One of my good friends from high school is gay, and you know what, I support him. I may never be gay like him, but dammit, he's happy. It's not hurting me, it's not hurting anyone else who lives in his apartment complex, anyone he works with, or the little girl that lives down the street from me, the guy that lives in a shack on the other side of the world, or the old lady that lives in the motherfucking shoe...... He's happy...... It's legal...... They aren't sacrificing goats to Satan......... let it be. No of us should have the power to limit what happiness could mean to anyone else, as long as no one legitimately gets hurt............ oh, and to quell the issue of "gay marriage doesn't lead to children, and could lead to the extinction of the human race"...... yeah, I've actually heard that argument......really? What about all those kids in foster homes and orphanages? Kids their parents didn't want or couldn't raise or parents that passed away.......... why couldn't gay married couple adopt if they wanted to? Sure, a gay couple can't physically have children of their own(except with surrogates or paths of that nature), but why can't they give homes to children that don't deserve to be stuck in those horrible situations. Isn't that a good thing? I sure as hell do...... if not, Angelina Jolie is going to collect them all before the rest of the Pokemon trailers even get started...

The worst example of Ideal Bullying......... Organized Religion... one word away from Organized Crime. Don't jump on me about faith, if you believe, if you wanna believe, then do it, but I'm talking religion. I can see it now, I'll get comments and/or email with finger pointing at certain religions saying it their fault...... okay, let's look at extremist Muslims, like the late Osama Bin Laden and al-Qaeda. What all they have done has been wrong, super wrong, horribly wrong....... but they were the first. Roman Catholics and the Crusades...... learn about those? That was Christianity. Christians and Catholics like to hide behind their beliefs and their books so they can get away with anything...... disagree? Like at Pat Robertson. He is a Christian TV Terrorist. Everything he and his cronies say that implies that's what the book or God says you should do is just another way to bullying you, making you fear it, and profiting off of it. Think about it... the 700 Club... sending them $700... do you know what that really does? Makes Pat Robertson $700 richer for each person that does it. Proof? How else is The 700 Club still on TV and NOT on TBN, THE Christian Network. They don't even want his drivel on their network. Pat Robertson is a terrorist. Plan and simple. But it's not just national level, it's local level. Say you decide you want to start going back to Church, and you decide you want to pick a local Church with a history. You go in and don't agree with the delivery of the "Word", the "Message", and come even close to saying anything that resembles disagreement, and you will be swarmed with resentment and possibly worse. If it's not their idea or way of thinking, it's wrong, and I've seen Churches that have gone from Religion to gang warfare to organized crime of the Russian Mafia.......... It should be THAT you believe, not WHAT you believe.......... By the way, I'm not religious...... could you tell?

I could give you more, but I'm getting tired.

However you explain it... "Fuck Influence"

Thank you very much for your time...... And if I got one more person to change their ways, then my work was a success......

Remember... "Before you give up, before you take the fall, you tried your best. The World, Fuck Them All"

I have decided that this list will be broken up in two parts... I'm going to wait until more movies fill up the list for 2012, so again, look for the next part of the list in June...

Did I miss any within these months? If so, leave it in the comments or send it to me on Facebook, and I will add it to the list, and give you credit for it(if I think it'll be good)... if you mention one outside the timeframe window, I'll call you a moron, but add it to the list in June...

Postponing the inevitable

The planned FTW blog I had coming has been postponed, mainly because I need to find the webpages I was going to reference again... I have, it happens... seems to be happening alot lately......

So here is my long await New Year's Revolution(s)...

Jump with me, will ya...

Let's start off with the one I mentioned on Facebook...

New Year's Revolutions

#1) Change a seemingly unchangeable truth!

What exactly does THAT mean? Well, how many of you readers know me in real life?...

I am sadly single... and yes, there is one person that I know I would give my right(dominant) arm just to be with her......... or at least I used to. I sat down with myself... and I figured this out. Hope is supposed to be the greatest expectation in life. But what if you feel your only hope was wrapped up in someone who seems to enjoy shattering it? I know I'm not in any position to negotiate, mainly because each of us has a right to believe whatever he or she wants to......... but I would like to be acknowledged... DO NOT just ignore my feelings, especially when I've been as understanding as a person can be, without blowing up from the pain building up inside.............. being ignored like that makes it that to one person who treats me like a phantom the most is the one that calls me her best friend.............

Then it hit me......... the seemingly unchangeable truth...... there are two...... I know this person well enough to know what's in her heart... and I know what she's afraid of...... and that leads me to these unchangeable truths: 1) the only thing worse than knowing is never finding out at all & 2) there is living to fight another day and there is learning to walk away.........

And that is New Year's Revolution #1...... one of those WILL be confirmed... one of those WILL be changed......... BOTH will be accepted...... as ominous as that sounds, I'm sure people that actually know me will know exactly what I mean......

All this time wondering what might've been, or what could be...... and I'm the only one of the two that cares(or so it seems)... at least, by my understanding...... and while she's having such a wonderful life(with an asshole that doesn't deserve her), I'm stuck trying to move on and still be a best friend............ leads me to wonder... if... moving on... means walking away...........

Is there still time? Of course, nothing is set in stone...... but something has got to give before a particular date, or the wrath of the Shadowheart will be felt by all of those involved!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or...... just a time to talk about things......

Now, while this is in my mind, the hope for new love is there, and I'm seriously working on it...... but any of you that is remotely human knows that sometimes you need help to take the first few steps......... it's difficult when it seems no one is willing to take that chance with me.......

What's in the future with this? I dunno...... Time will tell the story...... but this time, this story has a deadline......

#2) A certain person will feel my wrath!

Who exactly? This pertains to #1...... how do you spell her name? Jenny... Jenni... Jennie...... Jennie-O, as in the brand of turkey........

Soon, the turkey might be receiving a piece of my mind...... I'd give her the whole piece, but I'm sure she can only comprehend a small piece...... that and a small piece is hard to detect......

No talking me out of it... no negotiation......... those that deserve it, shall receive it...

#3) I'm going to rebuild my walls!

What walls? The walls around my heart... my soul...... I've let too many people in, and certain people need shut out... the more I see my hopes taken from me, the worse my hatred of people becomes... BUT instead of just letting it go like I have been, these walls will be reconstructed just for the purpose of keeping that hatred in, just like I used to in High School and while I was with Arley...... and let that caged hatred turn into the beast that I miss so much...... he was my pet... I named him Skippy......

Simply put, if you don't have permission, you're not getting in... or Skippy will eat your soul...

#4) To take control!

It's time that this Shadowheart takes control of who he is...... picks himself up... and kicks a few doors down(or teeth in)...... I'm going to kick this depression... I'm gonna get me a good woman... I'm going to live my life... It's time that I finally finish my Circle for good......

#5) Going to blog more!

I think I have found some of my lost words... I have more in storage...... I had more for this one, but I played nice...... I didn't completely speak my mind tonight, mainly because when the time comes, I will(almost like a blogging ninja, wait for it, right timing, then...... WHAM!!! or SLICE!!!)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, that's right, you heard me, I held back...... why? You will see soon...... I have a special post coming in the next few days referencing two articles I've read......

And yes, it WILL be an FTW post...... I'm SO excited, and I just can't hide it. I'm about to lose control, and I think I like it!!

So, there are 5 New Year's Revolutions... I posted 5, because the rate of keeping one is pretty bad, ask all those people who JUST gave up on their gym memberships...... but with 5, one is bound to work out... so, don't expect me to follow through on all of them(I know you know which ones I'm talking about), but at least you have an idea of what going on in my idea factory I hide in my head......

And if you are angry at this post or offended... good...... come back once the FTW post is finished, and I will take care of most of the rest of you......

The time is now... Enough is Enough and it's time for a change...

The Time Will Come..............

~The Master Has Returned

Note: If you have questions or concerns, feel free to let me know, and if it not disrespectful, you will be answered in a timely fashion. All other questions, concerns, or comments... go fuck yourself...
