A couple of weeks ago there was a demo put on by Sir T and His girl R. Although the demo was well attended by TMP members. i know it left a lot of you with many questions and maybe even some fears about this other lifestyle that seems to have invaded your club. Believe it or not we've been there for quite some time. Granted not all BDSM couples are swingers, but then again not all couples are swingers. i'm hoping that with my post, which is probably going to be a long one. i can help put some of those fears to rest and maybe answer some of your questions.

First let me introduce myself, i'm candy. i'm one of the newer members of the TMP staff. For those of you that don't know me, you can usually find me selling raffle tickets, doing tours, cleaning or doing laundry or whatever else needs to be done. What some of you may not know about me is that i'm a submissive, just like R. if you would have told me five years ago i would enjoy the things i now crave, i would have told you that you were out of your mind!!!! Still here i am, learning more and more about myself every day enjoying the new experiences and sensations that i have been privileged to be exposed to.

i know that some were taken aback by what happened to R during the demo. i can say this with the utmost certainty, nothing happened to her that she did not want to happen or know was going to happen. Yes we do play different. But in our lifestyle everything is negotiated, there are limits that are set up between the Dominant and submissive when they enter into their relationship. Yes those limits are respected and honored by both. There are rules and guidelines that we adhere to. Are they set in stone? No. Are we mindless individuals that blindly obey and accept? No. We very much have a voice and a say in what happens. The difference is in how we approach it. We can always discuss things openly and honestly without repercussion. Just like in any relationship if there is no communication there are problems. we are our Dominants most prized and cherished possession. They would never intentionally cause us any physical or emotional harm. Let's face it. You can't play with broken toys. What we give them of our body, mind heart and soul is a gift and is never taken lightly.

Another thing that may have shocked you is when R asked permission to cum and called Sir T “Lord” and was denied at first. This is something that is taught and again mutually agreed upon. Would he expect you to call Him Lord or Master no. That is something that is reserved only for his girl. Even others like myself would not, although we would refer to Him as Sir, simply because He is a dominant. No different that any name you would have for your better half that is simply for the both of you.

The way i try to explain my lifestyle choice to my non lifestyle friends “vanilla friends” is that this is much like an 1800's marriage. The collars that we wear are much like the wedding bands that you wear. They are a symbol of commitment between the Dom and his sub. We have a voice but we defer to our Dominants to make a final decision, knowing He will do what is best for all of us. There is a deep trust between us our relationship is built on that. it is our need to be in service and to perform well that drives us. There is nothing more that anyone wants to here is i'm proud of you, well done. We are rewarded for good behavior just as we would be punished for bad. in our lifestyle what we and how we behave directly reflects on our Dominants, so this thought is always first and foremost in our actions, wherever we are. You're probably thinking OMG did she say punish????? No it's not always corporal, some of us enjoy that too much so it wouldn't be much of a punishment *giggles*. For example if you run your credit card over the limit or he is bringing the boss home for dinner and your decide to do McDonald's instead, wouldn't your spouse be ticked? He probably take the credit card away or even close the account, he may not say anything in front of his boss but you can guarantee he will later. Or if you're at work and decide your not going to do your job the hell with the deadline your boss gave you. is he going to say oh well we'll get it next time? No. It's no different for us.

Believe it or not there are a lot of similarities between the two lifestyles, swingers and BDSM and follow many of the same rules. Were we all born to this lifestyle? No but then again neither were you. it was something that we explored and discovered enhanced our relationships and brought meaning to who and what we are.

in BDSM just like swingers no is no. You don't touch unless you ask. You treat those around you with respect. The concept we follow is called HARD Honor, Accountability, Respect and Duty. After a play session we wear our marks proudly because we know we have served Him well and yes gives us the warm fuzzies and heightens our senses and makes sex afterwards even more amazing than you can possibly imagine. Remember after R was untied she played in the ropes she wore like a kitten playing with a ball of yarn. We learn and grow in our relationship just like you. We are always learning and growing just like you are. if you don't it gets old and boring.

A Wedding Swinger Style!

Yep you read that right! Saturday June 21st there was a wedding swinger style at TMP. Two of our TMP regulars Charlie aka Carlos Man of Love and Cheryl aka Princess of all Cuteness and Giver of Divine Orgasms were married at TMP!

The downstairs was beautifully decorated by our own Lisa who did a fantastic job! Standing up for the bride and groom were The DJ of Funk, The Goddess of Everything Good at TMP, me, Candy, and L giving the bride away, although the minister officiating did his best to talk him out of it.

The bride wore a white corset, gstring and garterbelt with white stockings, showing off all of her cuteness, while the groom wore a leather vest and chaps showing his cute fuzzy butt*giggles* D you have competition!

The minister's outfit suit him perfectly. What may you ask was that???? A very becoming devil thong, yes, he does have a card that says he can do this along with keys while you wait :) .

Now was this your traditional wedding ceremony? You've got to be kidding! We have discovered that the DJ of Funk has other talents besides spinning great music. He wrote the ceremony! (btw Trish will be posting it as well for those that want a copy)

The audience participation was climactic making this a wedding for all who attended one we will not soon forget and I'm sure the newlyweds won't either.

Thanks Carlos and Princess of Cuteness for sharing it all with us. It just goes to show the lengths that TMP will go to for it's members.

So if you have an idea for a party theme, games that we can play, and especially music that you want to hear speak up. The only way to make it happen is to let someone know what you want. That's what this club is all about, the members. Without you there is no TMP.

Amateur Stipper Night

WOW!!!! What a party. We had a Competition and all of the ladies did a beautiful job doing their strip tease, I actually won, but the competition was definitely hard. There was a tie breaker between T and myself, and K got 2nd place. The win could have ultimately gone to anyone. There where a couple of newbies, they where great and I am positive that they had a wonderful time. Dave's was great as usual and he kept the party going all night. There where lots of people there to join us in the fun. We had a bachelor and bachelorette party we just had a great night. If you haven't been to the club you definitely are missing out on a lot of fun, so cum see us! Kristina

Memorial Day Weekend (Friday Saturday and Sunday Night) 5-23-08-5-25-08

We are back to posting events that happen at the club! Staff has been extremely busy with the planning of parties and were just unable to get to the blog so we will try to get back to normal with this.

Friday night was a good sized group and a lot of fun. Good food and great conversation, not the typical Friday night, more couples came out to have a good time.

Saturday night was just awesome, Games were just great the guys had to use the sticks of plungers between there legs to get toilet rolls (in between the girls legs) carry them to buckets and drop em in. The girls had to suck m&m's with straws and transport to a cup (hilarious) the girls where really using those skills! The weather was just awesome, food was great. Barbecued ribs and chicken, fruit salad, potato salad, and pasta salad. Lot's of good times, good music, and great people on Saturday.

Sunday was beautiful, we played volleyball, Hillbilly Horse Shoes and hung out on the deck and had great conversations and just a great day. Remember : Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner where served all weekend. Dinner on Sunday consisted of kabobs (chicken, beef and pork) fried veggies and salads. Everyone had a great time Sunday night too, The party was smaller than Saturday night but in this case smaller wasn't bad it was good.

Those of you who just haven't had the time to come out and visit really should come on out and see all the fun you have been missing. There are always newbies, and of course we have our awesome DJ who plays the requested music for everyone except Kristina (just kidding) he listens to me every once in a while. See you at the club.

We had a nice group both Friday and Saturday night, both night brought some new faces, so welcome to all of you, we hope you enjoyed your time with us. The game Saturday got started off a little slow, it seems with so many new faces on Saturday we also had some shyness. I give the more experienced club members credit though you jumped right in and got all the newbies asking questions too....so good for you all, that's how it should be.

Dave as always did a great job with the music, and had the dance floor hoppin most of the night. As usual though the best of the action took place upstairs, and we all know what happens at TMP stays at TMP so you'll just have to come out for a party to find out about that.

This coming Saturday is Truth or Dare, we're gonna change this up a bit from past games and make it a team game. We know you all love the team games and sometimes even get pretty competitive, but this time should just be a whole lot of fun. So how daring are you? We're gonna find out on Saturday night. We will be starting the game at 10 so make sure your there before then to participate.

Fetishes are fun

We had a couple of really great parties this weekend. Friday night was an awesome crowd, many more than is usual, and that made for a really great party. The free Friday's is really catching on and lots of people are taking advantage of getting the whole weekend for 1 price. This is good for those who can only make it on a Friday, because there's more people to party with.

Saturday night was another awesome crowd, we all learned something new I think with the fetish definitions game, and we spent some time learning a little about each other playing Bingo. Those that chose to dress up in their favorite fetish outfit, really looked great. Thanks C for making Ed his rope dress, Ed didn't get to see much of the party, but he looked all ready to play.

I would also like to thank C for taking the time to sit and talk with people and share your knowledge of toys and the BDSM lifestyle, I know many people found it very interesting. You've always been great about doing the demos and talking with people, so thank you for sharing your knowledge.

The dance floor stayed pretty full on Saturday night too, so thanks Dave for doing such a great job getting everyone in the party mood. Thanks also to C for selling the raffle tickets, you did a great job. For anyone who doesn't know we use the raffle money to make improvements to the club, if you haven't been there in the last year you've missed all of the renovations to the meeting area, make some plans to come check it out soon. The money from the door covers the clubs bills and that's about the extent of it, so the extra raffle money has been going a long way to fund projects that have needed to be done for years. I want to thank everyone for their support, we know you have fun with the raffles, but it makes a big difference in your club as you can see. We will continue doing them throughout the year and keep making updates and improvements to make the club more enjoyable for everyone.

I guess that's really it for this addition, we have some great parties coming up, see the website for full event details.

This coming Saturday is a game we've played before; " Who or What am I?". We pin a small slip of paper to everyone's back coming in the door, it will have on it the name of a person or thing. You basically walk around and ask everyone yes or no questions so you can guess what your person or thing is. It's a great way to spark conversations with people, so have fun with it. Let's see if we can get 100% participation on this one, and really get people up and talking.

Catching Up

Sorry everyone that this post took so long to get down here. I have had nothing but problems with my computer for the last month. It's all better now, but I did get to realize how many of you actually read this and miss it when it's gone, so I apologize for the lack of blogs.

We've had some really great parties over the last few weeks, so just a brief catch up on those. Mardi Gras, as always was a lot of fun and I think everyone had a good time earning the beads. The treasure hunt despite the staff mistake went really well and everyone including the newbies said they had a lot of fun with that. For the luau we heated up the inside despite the fact it was freezing cold outside, we had a really great turn out for this party despite the horrible weather. Casino night the weather kept the crowd a bit smaller but the group that was there had a blast, black jack and poker seemed to rule the evening and thank you to our busy dealers at those tables, you guys did an awesome job.

So the renovations to the meeting area are now just about complete, the last thing left to do is the wood dance floor and we will finally be done. It's all already been purchased it's just a matter of getting it cut and laid down. Thank you to everyone for your words of encouragement and compliments on everything already done, it really means a lot and makes our whole team want to keep going to make TMP the best club in the midwest.

For Friday nights even though the crowd has picked up a bit, we will continue to run the Friday special. It's kind of nice with the small groups on Friday nights, we see a lot of people playing cards and just getting to know one another. FYI.....there's all sorts of cards and games in the locker room on the shelves, please feel free to use any of those while you are there, just please put them back when you are done.

We've been listening to your suggestions as well, we've heard many times that you all really enjoy the games we've been playing so we are trying to do some type of game every weekend to get people up and mingling. Not everything gets posted to the events page, but we are trying to have something every weekend, so make sure your arriving by 9:00 to be included in those activities, especially for those of you who say you are having a hard time meeting people.

Valentines Party is this Saturday and we have a great game planned, especially for you ladies who felt left out of the receiving end of Mardi Gras. So make plans to join us.

Friday we had a nice party, not too busy but some really great people. It was nice spending the evening with all of you.

Saturday was actually much busier than I expected, given the fact many of us had just gone home from the New Years party on Tuesday. I know the staff was pretty exhausted Saturday night, but it was still a really good party. We'd love to hear what you all think of the new bar and the changes to the meeting area, please leave us a comment and tell us what you think.

In case you didn't see or already hear through the yahoo group, the new bar was installed on Saturday. I personally think it's awesome and don't miss one bit climbing under the old one.

We had a very busy year in 2007, with all the changes at the club, and a whole bunch of new members, and a lot of fun along the way. We posted the poster boards at the club for all of you to share you TMP memories for 2007 and many of you did. You can find those on the website, so check them out. If you didn't get a chance to add yours yet, we're leaving them up through January and you can also e-mail them to info@meetingplacemichigan.com.

If you were at last Saturday's party, I know many of you already have one for 2008, at my expense, and that's ok at least I got my most embarrassing moment out of the way early, all those that helped out with that one, there's a lot of year left for you to get yours in. I'm sure when we put the posters up next January, that BJ will be at least on a few peoples minds. Now if I would have just had the thought to come out and bow, you all could have had an even bigger laugh, oh well next time. It was very funny, so my hats off to D who got them all started and C for getting his side of the room going. If you missed it, sorry you'll just have to hear the story some other time. LOL

Say goodbye to 2007 & Hello to an exciting 2008

New Years Eve Weekend.......wow not sure where to begin.

This was a really big weekend for TMP, 4 nights of parties and each one different. So let's start at the beginning......

Friday night was a nice party, not too crowded, but we had a good sized group. We had a couple of new couples join us, and they were just awesome. Had a couple who hadn't been back for a long time, it was really nice to see them as well. Some regulars and some semi regulars made for a nice well rounded party.

Saturday nights party was very busy, we really weren't sure which would be more popular Saturday or Monday, but if Saturday's crowd was any indication, we figured Monday would be just as good if not better. Great group on Saturday, lots of laughs, great food, terrific music and dancing and everything else that makes a party fun.

Sunday night we did the Rocky Horror thing, no we didn't manage to get all dressed up, the majority of the people attending this party were those spending the whole weekend, so we mostly attended in our jammies and got comfy for the movie. We popped pop corn and threw rice and just had a lot of fun and laughs.

Monday night was standing room only, even with the additional space added before Halloween, we still had people standing, but no one was complaining either, this just gave people more of an opportunity to mingle and head upstairs early. At one point at the door we had 12 couples and it seemed like every time we'd get the door closed another couple followed right behind. The party actually got started fairly early too, and Dave kept us dancing all night. We served a catered dinner, and had lots of food and fun through out the night. We did our count down just before midnight and celebrated with a toast and champagne punch.

So that's the quick explanation of the parties. There was a lot of work though in throwing this party together, and not just from the staff and Phyllis either. So all of us at TMP have a lot of thank yous to go around. First to all of you who came out to spend the weekend or attended parties, thank you for supporting TMP and making it such a wonderful place to party. To everyone who stayed the entire weekend, all of you pitched in at one point or another and helped out cleaning up in between parties and after meals, a huge thank you from the staff for making our jobs that much easier. We all got to see the best example of how quickly a team of people can clean up a room after the Rocky Horror Show, it was so wonderful to just see everyone, and I mean everyone help clean up and move things around and get what needed to be done done. This is what TMP is about. Our staff volunteers their time to help make TMP a better place, but when you all jump in and help like that, it's just an awesome thing and makes us just glad to be apart of such a wonderful community. All of the people who spent the weekend, helped out all weekend long along the way, even the little things make a big difference, just keeping the coffee going was a huge help. So once again thank you to all of you who were there all weekend long.

To the TMP staff, full time and extra board, thank you all for pulling this all together and making things work so smoothly. You all helped with things all the way from planning to execution and beyond, so thank you all for putting in the time and effort to make sure everyone had a great time. I heard over and over again all weekend long just what a wonderful job we're all doing and it's just so nice to hear that, especially when it's coming from long time TMP members who've been there through all the changes over the years and have seen it at it's worst and best.

The staff at TMP works at the club because we love TMP, we love the people who come there and we love helping you all have a good time. We don't get paid, but we do it because we care about the club and Phyllis. We're very fortunate, we have an awesome staff and if you don't know who they are take time to meet them and talk with them, we all go to parties for the same reason you do, we just help out along the way.

So my personal thank you to all the staff: Lisa, Chris, Laurie, Larry, Don, Don (ATF), Mike & last but not least Dave......thank to you all for making New Years 2008 the best New Years Party TMP has seen in a long time. Thank you all for the help, the hugs, the laughs, the sweat and the tears this year! Here's to hoping 2008 brings us more laughs and maybe a little less sweat and tears! lol We all accomplished a lot this year in the way of changes to the club, and to think it all started with a little late Christmas gift to Phyllis last January with the purchase of the new carpet for downstairs. I know I never thought then, we'd not only be buying more of that carpet but making some major drastic changes to go along with it. We've worked hard though this year, and our downstairs renovations are just about complete and I know I for one am very excited.

I have a few more very special thank yous before I close this final edition of our blog for 2007, I want to thank all of you who've bought the raffle tickets, sold the tickets, torn the tickets, pulled the tickets and made donations to club improvements and the raffles, TMP is an expensive place to run and without your help everything we've accomplished would have taken a much longer time to complete.

We know we started the raffles to do the floor only, and we are, but we felt the necessity to expand downstairs and make a few changes before putting in the floor so that nothing would have to be redone again in the near future. TMP has expanded in membership a whole lot this year and we want everyone to be as comfortable as possible while your there. I think the expansion downstairs helped accomplish this and it does really look cool too.

When it's complete there will be a new bar, and I know you'll all be excited to know, you won't have to go under it anymore. There will be a new dance floor, and all of the seating areas will be carpeted. This will all be accomplished the first part of 2008, and it's because of all of you that it's possible, well that and some help from a contractor, our chief engineer and some more of that sweat and tears from the rest of the staff and volunteers.......lol.

So thank you, and we will continue the raffles in 2008 to make even more improvements in the club and hopefully make every one's experience at TMP that much better in the future.

So as we say goodbye to 2007, we are really looking forward to 2008 and all the exciting parties and hopefully a lot more of those laughs and good times we all shared in 2007.

The Butler Didn't Do It

The louse of a husband did, although he killed the wrong person. Well anyway that was how our Murder Mystery turned out.

Friday we had a really good sized crowd. Nice party and some really great people.

Saturday nights Murder Mystery was really a lot of fun. We had 6 volunteers take on the roles of our characters, CJ, M, D, L, M & J. Thank you to all of you for a job well done. Everyone got to participate though even if they didn't have a part. It was much like playing a live game of clue.
We also found out we may have a few actresses among our members.

4 People in the end guessed the murder was the husband played by L, and he was actually trying to kill his wife and killed her sister instead. They looked very similar in the dark.

Thank you to everyone who brought a dish to share, that was probably one of the best Pot Lucks we've had in awhile.

The rest of the party went really well, we got in some dancing, thanks M for helping out with the music. Then the party moved upstairs and into the hot tub.

I hope you all had a very nice Christmas. This weekend we are having a 4 day long New Years Party, so by Tuesday I figure we'll all need a vacation. Hopefully though we will have a blast and it's looking like we will have a great crowd all 4 nights by the reservations.

The following weekend of the 5th, we're having a funny T-shirt night, I know you all have at least 1 funny T-shirt, so come on out and show them off.

I can't wait to see what 2008 brings to TMP. We're saying goodbye to one really awesome year of change at TMP, but 2008 will hold more surprises and hopefully a lot more fun as we continue to grown and make improvements to your club.

The cove opened up, with a couch and tv in there it's a nice cozy place to sit and chat.

The removal of a wall in the meeting area, opening up more space for tables and the dance floor.

Lots and Lots of new members (The class of 2007 welcome to all of you)

Lots of old members returning after being away for a while.

A New DJ booth complete with built in speakers

New staff and a new outlook on parties and improvements

New Website, Web designer and chat room

and I'm sure some I've forgotten over these month.

We've also had some momentous occasions to remember:

Team 4, our special team during pictionary, and team 1 who promised to show them later and didn't

R and her goat.....you had to be there for that one

Dave winning the sexy buns contest even though he didn't participate and everyone else just decided to write him in (his face was priceless)

L and her farm animals (maybe her and R should get together)

Numerous funny costumes, and not just for Halloween

Some awesome food, especially those veggies for Memorial Day weekend

J coming out in a thong to surprise Dave (notice a trend, everyone seems to like to get Dave)

B willing the BJ contest on Gigolo Night ( although C was a close second)

C emptying that condom full of pudding faster than anyone else

The best part of this year for me personally though was watching our little club really become a community of people. Didn't matter what you looked like, or how long you'd been coming or who you knew, everyone just really got along. New couples always felt welcome, seasoned couples took on the task of helping along the newbies, and everyone just pitching in and helping out where they could. If only everything in the outside world worked as well, we might all have more peace in our lives.

Friday night, I'm sorry we missed most of the party. Dave got stuck working late. I hear you all had a nice time though. Thank M& J for filling in and waiting up.

Saturday night I was so pleased to see so many of you with the really nice masks, we had them at the door but of course ours weren't as fancy as those you all brought. This party was a bit smaller, but the weather wasn't cooperating either. I do want to thank everyone that came out and braved the weather, I know a few of you only came to help me celebrate my birthday and that was really nice of you all.

I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday with all of you, especially those sharing the December birthdays with me. I hope you all had a nice birthday as well. The party itself was a lot of fun, and we had some of the greatest people there. I had a blast dancing and talking with so many of you.

Hope to see many of you for the Christmas party next weekend as well as the 4 night long New Years Party. We're going to have some awesome food and just a really great weekend.

Pictionary

Happy Holidays Everyone! We had a really nice party Friday, we had 2 new couples and a few regulars and some not so regulars. It was nice kicking back and relaxing and chatting it up. Welcome to the new couples we hope you will join us again soon.

We played Pictionary Saturday night and we used 4 teams, we split the couples up for these teams in hopes that you get to each meet 1/4 of everyone there and when you get back together as a couple you know at least 1/2 of everyone and can mingle a little easier. This seemed to work well for many of you, I noticed a lot of people out of the chairs and up and talking. That's the whole point to playing any game in the first place.

Pictionary itself was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs, we're not sure exactly how it happens, but poor R always gets the goat reference in there sometime during the nights she's there playing a game. Pictionary was no exception. Some of the drawings, I'm not exactly sure what you all we're thinking when you drew them, but obviously your teams were well suited because we didn't have too many that were missed.

In the end with a challenging tie breaker, team 4 beat out team 3 for 1st place. This was a really good thing too, for a long time while playing pictionary being on team 4 meant you had no chance to win. Well this time team 4 ended up with all the perverts in the bunch and managed to pull it out at the last seconds. (sorry no pun intended)

The rest of the night many of you disappeared upstairs and in the hot tub, while some of us stayed and danced. A, B and I got Dave to play us some 80's music and danced out butts off, sorry to everyone who wanted to let the 80's die successfully. We had a blast though and Dave did manage to get the rest of his requests in, so everyone had a good time.

This coming weekend is the masquerade party, and we have a few people that will be there celebrating their assorted birthdays, so should be a great night. Please remember to bring your toys for tots, this will be our last night for collection.

Going back a little here

Sorry everyone I had a much needed break from the blog for a while. I've had some personal things to attend to and a lot going on with the club and unfortunately just not enough hours in the day.

So we missed writing about a few parties in here and I will do my best to go over some details here about the missed events.

So we had the Wet T-shirt/ Sexy Buns contest in there. That was a really fun party. We had a lot of ladies participate and C was our winner for the night. Our own DJ won a write in campaign for the Sexy buns part, but of course that was just a joke and the club members were just trying to get him. He didn't participate.

The next weekend was Hooker night, the winner for that night was our very own blog writer CJ, and the following weekend was Gigolo Night the winner there was B. I have to say ladies the guys definitely come up with more interesting way for you to earn money than you do for them. I think so of the ladies are just a bit afraid of being bold. Dave got the guys going though for the ladies and at one point we had all the ladies in the club sitting all over the dance floor while the guys gave lap dances, I have to admit it was fun to watch.

We've had a lot of new couples and singles over the past few weekends, so welcome to all of you.

Happy birthday to all of our November and December birthday people.

I know this is a busy time of year for everyone, and us too at the club. This Saturday we have Pictionary, always a fun game. The following weekend we have the Masquerade party and then our Christmas Pot Luck Dinner on the 22nd which will be a Murder Mystery night.

Please remember to bring in your Toys 4 Tots, and help make some kids Christmas just a little happier this year.

New Years Weekend information is posted on the website, please remember to get your reservations in for the parties that weekend. Reservations need to be in by Dec. 23rd to be counted for the discount.

One final note, with the snow and ice we all know occurs during the winters in Michigan, please consider staying over at the club when you are there for parties. Driving during the bad weather is hazardous on it's own, but even if you've had only a few drinks it can be deadly.

We had a really nice party Friday night. Some awesome conversation with some new friends and some old ones.

Saturday Night's Pot Luck dinner was really nice as well, we had about 12 couples come for the dinner portion of the party. That makes it nice to be able to get to just sit and talk with people over some great food. After dinner was cleared up we moved into the regular party portion of the night, and despite so many people walking in and telling Phyllis Happy Birthday, she was still surprised. We had balloons ready for her and a cake, and some gifts as well from not only the staff but many of you. Thank you to everyone who helped make this birthday for Phyllis very special.

Dave got Phyllis out on the dance floor for a slow dance, and she enjoyed very much dancing with all of you wonderful guys. Then we went right into a snowball dance and got Phyllis to help us out with that too. I know she has an immensely good time, she was still talking about it on Monday. So everyone that came out and participated in her birthday party, thanks you made her year.

The party went on from there as usual. We had 4 new couples join us for the evening, welcome to all of you we hope you come back and see us soon.

This coming Saturday is the Toga party, so hope to see lots of you there for that.

Don't forget our Toys for Tots drive is going on now, so please bring those toys in with you.

HI Everyone,

I know I missed the last few parties here and I apologize. We've been making a lot of changes at TMP and I just haven't had the time to just sit and write. I did want to get in something about the Halloween party though because we just had an awesome time, not that the other parties weren't just as great, but with all the website work, expansion at the club and Halloween party planning I've been doing there's just not enough hours in the day to get everything in.

So with that said onto the new stuff. Friday night we had about 12 couples, we had a really nice time even though we didn't get a whole lot of sleep.

Saturday was the biggest party to ever hit TMP, and it was well worth the wait. To everyone who made reservations, thank you that helped us out so much in our planning. So our start with the fun stuff, welcome to all of our new members who joined us for Halloween, there were 5 new couples and 1 new single lady. We hope you all had a ball, and will keep coming back for future parties.

Pirates and Priests seemed to be the running theme for Halloween this year, so where were all you pirates during the treasure hunt??? LOL Anyway we had a few originals, the John and Lorianna Bobbit was great, and apparently everyone else thought so because that costume won them a free party. Kristina who writes occasionally for the blog here won for The sexiest costume, you made a lovely nurse Kristina, but I'm pretty sure I heard Dave asking for a Therapist. I think that was because of C's costume, he was a priest with a twist and I'm not sure I care to explain that any further, but he won for Scariest. B rounded out our winners for the night for his Most Original Puppy dog, he kept telling me all night he wanted to bury his bone, I dunno was kind of strange, not sure if he ever got it buried or not.

This party continued on late into the night, and I think everyone had a ball or maybe even 2 depending on what you spent your time doing. We did discuss not letting the DJ and KJ drink anymore before we let them do Karaoke, but everyone still had a lot of laughs and got a lot of dancing in.

I was so glad we were able to get more space in the meeting area, it did really help make everything not feel so crowded, we hope you all enjoy the new space. We've grown so much over the past year as a community and every once in a while you just have to let a seem out here and there. Our goal is to have the meeting area finished by New Years, it's a goal at this point though and since all of us have other jobs and the holidays are coming on quickly, we will try our best to keep that goal, but are not making any promises. We are putting that raffle money to good use though, and you can already see major differences, we will keep doing those raffles and putting in even more to your club.

Ok so I have a lot of thanks to give out over this party and if I miss anyone I apologize ahead of time, but we had a whole lot of help and I know I at one time or another thanked you all personally so please don't be too offended if I miss anyone. First starting out the week before the party, thank B for staying late on Sunday and helping us decorate, The cove looked great and you had such a great idea with all the pumpkins.

C & D, thank you so much for all of the extra work you put in as well as the tours, you are one awesome host couple and not sure things would have gone as well with out you. To G & S and P & R , thanks for assisting our new couples as well. Our host couples do a fantastic job of making the new people as comfortable as possible and we truly appreciate them.

To C, thank you many many times for those great sandwiches, everyone raved about them and you just did an awesome job.

To J & J as always thanks for bringing out the Karaoke, it's always a blast and I know Dave really appreciates the bit of a break here and there in the booth.

To everyone that picked up tables, towels, restocked paper products and anything else around there, on behalf of the staff we thank you, any little thing you do means one less thing we have to take care of.

To the rest of the TMP staff, I don't have to tell you how great I think you all are you already know that and together we pulled off one hell of a party. All the food you made and the pre-party cleaning and set up just went so well for such a big crowd. So when you at the club and you see the other staff members: L & L, C, L & D let them know just how awesome they are.

We already received a few very nice letters about the Halloween party as well as the party before. I am re posting them here, only removing the authors full name to protect their privacy.

Hi Trish, L, Dave and L,,,, thanks for approving me last week and making me feel welcome.....sure is different than 1989,,,, the activities,Dave's DJ set up encourage meeting and mingling.... I met bunch of nice people that nite,,,, and would have been very happy with just that,,,,, even if no one wanted to take a chance with the 'new guy'.......although things changed later in the evening,,,and i ended up staying til 4 am (pretty busy i might add.....lol).... I will be having shoulder surgery Oct 29,,, so probably won't be back til after the first of the year.... But, again,,, thanks for your faith in me and your great club...... R in Kalamazoo

Next week we are celebrating Phyllis' Birthday and we're kicking it off with a Pot Luck Dinner starting at 5:00, we already have some people who've told us what they are bringing, you can find that on the events page of the website. Phyllis has been throwing parties every weekend in her home for all of us for 21 years, it's only right we throw one for her once in a while. Since this is her 65th, Birthday we are leaving all the Halloween stuff up and throwing in some over the hill as well. She doesn't know we're celebrating her birthday, I know you think she would have figured it out, but she hasn't, she thinks it's just a party party, so come help us celebrate her birthday with her and have a good time yourselves.

String-A-Long Party

Hello Everyone

We had a really great party both nights this week. Friday was spent talking, getting tarot card readings (one of the club members did them) and even some tv watching and card playing. We had a really nice crowd and it was nice just kicking back and relaxing.

Saturday night we had 2 new couples join the party as well as a new single gentleman, we hope you all had a good time and come back and see us really soon.

We played a game on Saturday night and we know many of you wanted to know exactly what a string-a-long party was. We'll we gave each of our 4 teams 200ft of string and asked them to get creative and string each other together, speed wasn't the deciding factor here creativity was. This gave everyone a good chance to work together. Then once they were all tied up, we surprised them with the object of our game. The object to pass a key along that string they just spent time wrapping up in their bodies while it was still all tied up.

We all had a lot of laughs watching as teams raced to see who could get their string from one end to the other the fastest. The Green Alien team won, but actually everyone was a winner because they all got to know each other a little better and some even a little more intimately. Ok I think everyone enjoyed that except for maybe K who actually complained he had too many women's hands down his pants....go figure?

We also had 2 birthday's that we're celebrated, C & R, we know they both enjoyed their lap dances.

The evening's events didn't really end there though. This was a dancing crowd and we managed to go through every line dance in the DJ's music collection and we also did a snowball dance, which I think everyone enjoyed, this gives everyone the opportunity to dance with multiple partners and before everyone was done the entire club was on the dance floor.

Then the fun started upstairs, I head tales of a large twister game in the long room, and I know when I walked through people were just having a good time everywhere. So all in all it was a really great weekend.

Thank you to all the staff and host/hostess couples for helping out and getting everything taken care of. We have just added a new Host/Hostess couple to help out with tours, Thanks G & S for saying yes. That brings our total of Host/Hostess couples to 4. We really appreciate all of them for taking the time to make the newbies feel so welcome.

One more mention about Halloween, we are at 40 reservations as of today. We are cutting the reservations off at 60, so if you plan on coming and haven't gotten that reservation in yet, please do so soon. Send your names, and tell us it's for the Halloween party to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com. I will send back an e-mail confirming your reservation, or you can sign up on the official list at the club on the bulletin board.

We have also put the prices on the website for New Years and have begun taking reservations for that. We will get the weekends events and meals up as soon as we have all that planning done. I know it's awhile away, but it will be here before we know it so start making plans now.

Pot Luck ~Lingerie Party

Hello Everyone

This past weekend we a big surprise ready for our guests. We opened up a new room in the meeting area. "The Cove", as it's now being called is a nice cozy sitting area for people to talk and get to know one another. With the size of the Saturday parties getting so much larger we needed some extra seating space, and we got it in just 1 weeks time.

So if you missed the opening of "The Cove" this weekend you must come check it out. We will be putting pictures up on the website this week but it's just so much nicer in person. We have a few more surprises in store for the next few months and we just know you won't be disappointed, so keep coming back and seeing what we've been up to.

Saturday night we had a really nice Pot Luck dinner, the food was awesome, thank you to everyone who brought a dish. You all Rock! Thanks to Lisa for showing off her BBQ skills, we really appreciated it. Even though the weather is getting colder and we won't be able to BBQ, we will continue to have Pot Luck dinners over the winter. We will just cook the main course indoors. So make plan to join us for one.

One of the many reason I used to like going to our summer home was the sense of community our Pot Luck dinners there gave you. We are trying to bring this same feel to TMP. You really get to know everyone and there's no sexual tension, just good food and good conversations. This is a club where all the members should feel welcome and just come out to have a good time. I just love too when we have newbies come and enjoy the Pot Luck, it takes a lot of those initial fears out of the situation. They start to feel comfortable more quickly and just seem to have a great time. So if you haven't attended one yet, our next one is Oct. 13th @ 5:00pm, make plans to attend and see what it's like. If you already know your coming please drop us a note and let us know what your bringing so we can share what dishes are already taken on the website. just send an e-mail to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com. The theme that night is dress for your favorite era and we will be playing a musical game.

We had a lingerie theme for Saturday night, and ladies you all looked very lovely. Many people spent time in the cove checking things out in there and the dance floor was rocking as well. We had a total of 4 new couples and 1 single gentlemen as well as a new lady, so welcome to all of you, we hope to see you back really soon.

Next weekend is our String-A-Long Party. Everyone's been asking exactly what this is and the only thing I can share with you is this is an ice breaker game everyone can play, totally G rated and just meant for fun. If I tell you all about it now, it will sort of spoil the game and we don't want to do that, do we? I can tell you it will involve all of you and some string if that helps, for there rest you'll just have to be there to check it out.

The following weekend on the 6th we will have our Naughty or Nice night, we will be playing a game to go along with that theme too, Halos & Horns Spin the Bottle.

We have already started taking reservations for Halloween and we are at right around 60 people so far for the party. So remember to get those reservations in as soon as possible we might just fill up on this one.

When sending reservations for anything please use reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com. Send us both of your names and which party you are reserving for. This way we know which list to add you to. If you sign up for events on SLS, please send us an e-mail too, it's great so many of you are letting others know which parties you are attending on there, but some of you we may not recognize you from your SLS screen name so it doesn't always help us with reservations.

Gigolos & Pirates

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry this Gigolo Night post is late....I was sick all week, so I'll be doing the Gigolo Night and Treasure Hunts together this week.

Gigolo night was a whole lot of fun, we didn't get as many guys as usual to take part, but the ones who did I'm sure had a ball. We did throw up some challenges to the guys participating and they earned some extra cash that way. We had them treat us to a dance on the floor, we pulled the Birthday girls out on the floor to give them an extra treat for their Birthdays too.
C & C we're both celebrating their birthday's that night.

Then C put a challenge out to our gigolos to see who could give her the best BJ. We only got 3 of them to participate, but we all had to agree B won that one since he made her cum, not an easy task to make a strap on orgasm.

Carlos, man on Love, was our overall winner for the night, but it was a very close race for all of our Gigolos. Thanks to all the guys that played, I know all the ladies really enjoyed it.

This weekends party was a lot of fun. We had a smaller party on Friday, but still fun.
Saturday night we had a pirate theme and we sent our guests out on a treasure hunt through the club. I have to say the staff was a little nervous about putting this all together for you. We weren't exactly sure it was going to work, and we were very pleasantly surprised when it worked out really well.

What we did was divided everyone up into 3 teams, this time we left the couples together. Each team started out with 1 clue, that would lead them to the next and so on until they found the treasure. The first team to find the hidden treasure would win a prize. Each team had a total of 5 clues, located in various places throughout the club. For some of the clues they had to solve a riddle, or a math problem in order to find the next clue. The final clue would lead them all to the same place and to the prizes.

The green team won in the end finding the clues first. Each couple in the team was given a gift bag full of some goodies for them, a discount coupon, a video, some lube, some lotion, etc.
We hope you all had a lot of fun with this, as nervous as the staff was about pulling this one off, we felt it went really well for a first attempt, of course we're always open to suggestions for the next one if you felt we could have done something differently. We plan these types of games and events so that you all can just have a little fun and hopefully get to know one another better, that's what it's all about. If you have ideas for games please feel free to let us know, we're always open for suggestions.

We had 4 new couples join us on Saturday night, so I'd like to welcome all of you and hope you come back and see us really soon. We also had 2 couples celebrating their anniversaries with us Saturday night so Happy Anniversary to T & T , 8 years and A & D, 21 years! Thanks A & D for bringing that cake to share too.

Couple of things coming up and then I'll close this one out. Next Sat the 22nd is our next Pot Luck, party starts at 5:00 and we'd like to know ahead of time what everyone plans on bringing so we don't get a lot of doubles....please send those RSVPs to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com.

Halloween is approaching quickly, and with the size our parties have taken on we are highly recommending you make reservations for this party. So please start sending those reservations as well to reservations@meetingplacemichigan.com.

When sending reservations please give me your names and tell me what party it's for. We have other Pot Luck parties planned throughout the year so I want to make sure I have you down for the right one. I already have a few for Phyllis' Birthday in November.

Labor Day Weekend

I hope you all had a nice Labor Day Weekend!

Before I get into the actual events of the weekend I want to start with some words of thanks. One thing I really got a lot of this weekend was a true sense of community, people pitching in and helping out and making things just a bit easier for everyone. To everyone and anyone who pitched in and cleared tables, helped with the meals, towels, the fire out in the yard, folded blankets, emptied ash trays and garbage, and the million and one other things it takes to keep a weekend party going all weekend long, the entire staff and all of the host couples at the meeting place thank you. You all made a huge difference in making our lives a little easier and giving us a few extra moments of relaxation.

I'd also like to thank everyone who brought food and helped cook all the food all weekend long, S & R, C & C, R & S, C & D, C and L, thank you, you all helped keep everyone well fed all weekend long. To J & J, thank you as well for coming out and bringing us some Karaoke and extra entertainment, it was a blast. To our 3 couples who we're our team captains, S & R, D & C, and R & S, thank you so much, you we're a huge help in getting people organized and keeping things moving along. Finally to C thank you for the wax Demo. People really seemed to enjoy it and had a lot of fun with it. I know you yourself had a good time doing it for everyone, but you gave up quite a bit of your party time to share some of your talents with everyone else and it's very appreciated. To anyone I might have missed thanking, I am truly sorry, it was a very long weekend and I know I am missing some personal thank yous that are very deserved. We do truly appreciate all of the help each person gave and it personally means a lot to me to have so many people just pitch in and give a hand.

Ok now onto the party report......the first word that comes to my mind is WOW, my second thought is I think I need a nap.....lol. We had one hell of a weekend, this party just about blew away any party thus far this year. I can't really tell you how many new couples we had or what the numbers were per night, because personally one day sort of ran into the other for me and I'm not sure who came in when, I just know there were a heck of a lot of people there over the weekend and we had a ball. And as Dave put it, Labor Day sort of kicks us off into the swinging season, as the weather starts turning colder we all look for more activities to do indoors to keep us occupied and warm. Why not swing? So this usually sets the pace for our fall/winter parties. If Labor Day Weekend is any indication of the parties to come, then we are going to have one heck of a fall/winter.

I personally had some really great conversations this weekend, and so many laughs that my sides literally hurt. We really hope you all enjoyed the games on Saturday, we know for some of you that was a bit of a stretch to get you out there playing but you all did a great job and your all winners in my book. More importantly we hope the games got you all to know one another a little better and made everyone feel a little more comfortable about talking to others. The games themselves, while fun, are really meant to help break the ice and just get people up and talking and interacting. Since it seems so many of you were upstairs interacting later, I supposed the games served their purpose.

J broke out Karaoke for us on Saturday and Sunday night, and you know...... some of you all can actually sing. We had a lot of fun with that, and ok I may be a little prejudice just cause I'm married to one of them, but I think J and Dave did an excellent job on both nights of keeping us entertained with the music. I know Dave really appreciated J being there to help out and give him a break for a while. I also know between them and a few other people coaxing we got a few people to pop their Karaoke cherries......and see no one laughed and you were among friends so it wasn't so bad now was it? Maybe you even had a little fun with it? I would assume so because many of those same people got up to do more than one song....so congrats to all of you for stepping out of that box just a little bit more.

I really am at a loss for words in describing the rest of the weekend. It was a very long weekend but also a whole lot of fun. If you missed it, all I can say is you missed out on a lot of fun, and if you were there you know we all had a great time. So a few announcements and that's it for this week.

Happy Birthday to our 3 Birthday ladies from this weekend, we hope you all had a great time celebrating your birthdays at TMP.

I need to mention a word here about smoking and being upstairs, there aren't many rules at TMP, but one of them is NO smoking upstairs at all. While cleaning up on Saturday morning we came across an ashtray and a whole bunch of cigarette butts in one of the rooms. This will not be tolerated, it's a huge hazard and it's dangerous. We have plenty of areas for you to smoke in there is not excuse for smoking in an area that it's no permitted in. I myself am a smoker and if I can stick to those areas so can the rest of you. There is way to much bedding upstairs for everyone to have to worry about someone dropping a cigarette, possibly while others are sleeping. For this reason alone, no longer will anyone be able to even take their cigarette packs upstairs with them, we don't want to hear the excuse that your afraid someone will move them or take them from a table downstairs. If your that worried about them get a locker and put them away when you go to bed. We're all adults here and should be able to follow a few simple rules to make everyone's experience a little more enjoyable. These rules are posted at the club and there are signs on both of the stairways, so please don't try and use the excuse you didn't know. Not following the rules can terminate your membership with TMP, and while we'd hate to do that over something so small, we will to protect the safety of everyone else. So please if you don't know the rules, just ask and we can provide you with a card that has them all listed, or check out our website and read the rules, there's a whole page dedicated to just that.

Next Saturday night is Gigolo night, always a fun night for everyone, let's see how much money we can get these guys to earn. There is also a festival in town over the weekend and some of us plan on going to see a free concert of Friday night. If anyone is interested in joining us for that and then heading to the club afterwards, we will meet at TMP to drop off our things and then head over together. The concert starts at 9, but we'd need to get there a bit early. Plan on getting to the club around 7 if you'd like to join us. We will also leave word with Phyllis about where we will be at and a way to reach us for anyone who arrives after we leave. Don't forget to take advantage of the Free Friday's and make a weekend of it, there will be other things going on at the Festival on Saturday during the day, so I'm sure you can find something to occupy your time in between parties.

Our next Pot Luck is on the 22nd, and we're already starting to get reservations and people telling us what they will bring. I will keep a list posted on the events page of the website so we all have an idea of what food is already spoken for. The club will be providing steaks and burgers, so we just ask that you bring the side dish. These pot luck dinners have brought a real sense of community to TMP and we will continue them on throughout the year, everyone who has attended one said they are just so much fun and you really get to know people a lot better just sharing a meal together. There's no sexual tension, no pressure to be on, just a bunch of open minded people sharing a meal together and forming some great friendships. We hear all of you when you give us comments and suggestions, and the feedback we get from all of you gives us the kind of information we need to provide the parties you all want. The Pot Luck you have all made quite clear is something you'd like us to keep up, so we will continue to do these at least once a month. We will always keep a sign up sheet on the bulletin board so check that out when you are at the club. We do need your help though, as these Pot Luck dinners keep growing in size, we do need a little advance notice about how many will be there for dinner. This does help us with planning for our part of the food, as well as helping you all with the amount of sides. Even if you don't know yet what you will be bringing, at least let us know your coming, this will help everyone plan accordingly. We can fill in the dishes later.

We had a really nice party this past Friday, and 1 new couple joined us for that. We had quite a few couples there taking advantage of that Friday special and getting it free when they paid for Saturday. It was a nice relaxing evening spent getting to know one another better.

Saturday night's party got off to an early start, we had quite a few guests arriving before 9:00, so that was really nice. We had a whole bunch of new couples for Saturday nights party. 7 to be exact and 3 single ladies who came with 3 of the couples. So welcome to T, T & R, B who came with B& S, S & G, S & C, B & K, K who came with S & S (newbies from last weekend) , A & J, K & K and D& D. We hope you all had a wonderful time, I did get to spend some time talking with some of you after the party and I know you all said it was a lot of fun. We hope to see you all back really soon.

We had 3 Birthday's in the house as well so Happy Birthday to T, M & A......we hope you all enjoyed your dances on the floor.

So with all the intros and getting the newbies acquainted with everything we had our Wet T-shirt and Sexy buns contest. We had 5 guys compete for the sexy buns and I think we had 12 ladies, sorry I lost count there. K was our winner for the sexy buns, but we gave all the guys a participation prize just cause they had the guts to get up and do it. For the ladies we had a tie between J & B and Dave just couldn't get a clear winner by applause after he did the 3 way tie breaker pole dance. So we gave it to both J & B.

Thanks to M for getting all the ladies wet, P for taking care of those guys, and to everyone that helped us get all the water off the floor afterwards, it was greatly appreciated.

Once we got the floor and everyone else all dried off Dave got the ladies on the floor for ladies dance and they did their thing out there on a packed floor and by the time the ladies were finished the guys were more than ready to join them. Shortly after that the upstairs got really active and people just had a great time. I know I saw the twister board and room getting used a lot, so I hope you all had fun with our over-sized game.

This coming weekend we have our Labor Day Party, the staff has come up with our own version of reality tv games for you to play all day on Saturday. We're going to make this a team type event and we will be picking and talking with team captains from those who are there on Friday night. We will take time to lay out everything going on for them to give them the opportunity to share that with their teams as people arrive on Saturday. So come on out and have some fun with us. We'll have some great food all weekend long and some games I'm sure will bring a few smiles. Saturday and Sunday night Dave will be keeping the dance floor going and we may even have a few surprises in store for all of you. I know we have 2 Birthday girls that will be there so far celebrating with us, both of whose names start with a C.

The following weekend is our Gigolo night party, we know you love to make those guys earn that money, and we'll have 2 more C named girls there celebrating our birthday's so they'll even have a few extra bucks to spend on you guys. The Weekend of the 15th we are doing a Pirate theme and we're going to be having a Treasure Hunt and there will be a prize for the winning team who can figure out the clues the fastest.

The weekend of the 22nd is our next Pot Luck, these parties have been so much fun. It's a great time to just kick back and relax and really get to know people. What better way to do that then over some great food. The theme for the evening is lingerie, so everyone should be participating in this one, pull out that stuff you've been wanting to show off and just kick back and relax.

Towel Party

We just had another incredible weekend. Friday night was a nice smaller party, but with great company and a lot of laughs we had a really great time. Welcome back to a couple of old friends from TMP we hope you had a safe journey back home on your bikes. We also had a new lady join us Friday night, welcome to you C, we hope you had a blast all weekend long.

Saturday nights at TMP have gotten pretty wild and crazy and this past Saturday was no exception. We surpassed our numbers for Hooker night last week and we just had a ball. We had 5, yep that says 5 new couples, so welcome to all of you, we hope your experience was a great one and you will all return back to TMP in the near future. We started off the night with some nice mellow music, then we got Dave in his booth to get the dance floor moving. After he got everyone all nice and warmed up dancing we got them all cooled back off with a frozen T-shirt game. We raced to see who could get on their frozen T-shirt the fastest, thanks R for being a good sport about your shirt......it was all just in fun. D was in 1st place and we had 2 ladies follow close behind him. Some of the ladies who had really been working up some heat on the dance floor really appreciated the cold frozen T-shirt to cool them off.

Next we held our contest for the best use of a towel, P took away the prize for that one, but I have to say some of you got really creative with them. D's was creative even if he had to take a lot of flack for the cocks. Next up was ladies dance and Dave got the floor going once again, only this time it was just for the ladies and our favorite non gender specific mascot ED, Ed sort of got drug out onto the floor to share some time with the ladies, so congrats to you Ed on your first ladies dance! Dave followed that up with some audience participation songs and completely filled the dance floor, you were a great group for getting out there and having some fun.

We celebrated 4 birthday's as well and all 3 of the ladies and the 1 gentleman all got their birthday dances, Happy Birthday to all of you, we hope you all had a great time. Thanks too to everyone who got up to help them celebrate.

Later as the downstairs emptied out the upstairs quickly filled up and that's where I'm sure the best fun was had, by the noises around we know at least some of you were having a really really good time.

It is great to be back posting again 0n the blog. Hopefully I can also add a little insight to your readings!!!
Well this past Saturday was a night of many events. We started the evening with a potluck. What a way to start an evening - good food, good friends, and good conversation. If you have not been to one here, try to make it - we will be doing them at least once a month - they are really worth it. My name is Sylvia. If you don't know who I am for that I am sorry. Trish has been excellent enough to ask me to contribute to the blog, so you will all have to listen to my views. If you have a problem with them you can leave a comment below.

We being my lovely husband Larry and I went to the club on Friday. I have always enjoyed the Friday parties. They are a little more laid back and you get to know people better. There is just something about sitting around flirting and drinking and letting the work week role off of you. I got to talk to an interesting bloke and his wife who told stories of his homeland and swinger clubs there. I also got to talk to my neighbors. Yes I said neighbors. I always enjoy talking to her she is very funny. I also talked to the couple that grows the best tomatoes in the world. I will tell you though his outfit was better on Saturday than on Friday. The skirt was the best. If only I had your legs. :)

We came back on Saturday, for my favorite theme night, HOOKER NIGHT!!! I came in ready to party. I was not let down. The place was crowded. I missed the pot luck and all the great food. If you missed the party the past weekend you missed a whole lot of fun. We had 12 couples in the house on Friday night, 1 of them new so welcome to you. I don't know about the rest of you but David and I had some awesome conversations with everyone and a lot of laughs. The Friday special has taken off in a big way, what a difference a free party makes.

Saturday was just amazing, most of the couples who joined us Friday either stuck around for the day Saturday or came back Saturday night. We had a lot of fun all day long. When it came time for the Pot Luck dinner we probably had 18 couples and a few more that trickled in during the middle, and the food was incredible. Just to give you all a sample of what we had besides hamburgers and hot dogs (Thanks C & L for cooking those up) we had some of the best ribs I have ever had, hot wings which Dave just thought were awesome, some very excellent chips and dips, terrific assorted salads, R's famous baked beans, and a whole bunch of awesome sweets. You all can cook your butts off. Sorry M that you didn't get any of that shortcake.....it was da bomb ......hahahahahaha.

The food although wonderful isn't the best part of our monthly Pot Luck's it's the people and the real community feel it gives to everyone. This is a time to just meet people, sit and relax with good food and great company. There's none of the tension you might feel through the rest of the party, there's no nervousness, it's just people getting together for a meal and getting to know one another. The noise level from the conversations around the room was just a joy to hear, it was just everyone having a good time. I really suggest if you new and nervous about coming to a club for your first time, make plans to come to a pot luck, it's just so easy to get to know everyone over some great food. I have to say too the classical music in the background Dave treated us to for a while made for a really relaxing atmosphere and just something nice and light for dinner.

After dinner many people moved outside to the deck for a game of topless volleyball, there we're probably as many spectators as there were players but everyone had a very enjoyable time. Those that chose not to hit the outdoors spent time getting ready for our hooker night game. So we had a lot of plans for that night and after we got all the food moved upstairs, we got things rolling. We we're fortunate enough to have a professional Master (Dominant) in the house on Friday night and we convinced him to show off his talents using volunteers from the club. Master C was very good at explaining everything he was doing and making sure to point out the safety aspects of it all. Master C first made a rope dress for C to wear and then bound her hands in front of her. Then he bound L's arms behind his back while Master C's wife did some bondage on his genital area and invited the ladies to give him some pleasure. Master C went back to C and had her lie down on the bed and people we're invited up to heighten her senses, M took him up on that and used a vibe on her, she was quickly having an awesome time. I want to thank Master C and his wife C for giving us such a great demonstration and taking the time out of their play time to do it for us, from me, I was pleased to volunteer and had a very good time.

Any one who wants more information of anything that was demonstrated or if you weren't there and have a curiosity I urge you to look into it further, do some research on the Internet, there's plenty of good information out there if your willing to take the time to search it out. Just like with swinging anything related to BDSM can be customized to fit into your relationship and it should go by what you think and feel. This is not a form of abuse, this is to heighten the senses and you should find pleasure in what you are doing. When gathering information make sure it's from a reputable source and don't ever let someone else tell you the way you have chosen to do something is wrong, unless it's unsafe. Make Safety and Caution your number 1 priority when attempting anything like this, and if your attempting bondage in any form have a back up plan in place to get someone out quickly and safely should the need arise. For his ropes Master C had ready a pair of medical safety scissors. So no matter what please play responsibly.

The party went on from there and I really think everyone had an awesome time. I know for me personally it was a really great night and one I won't forget for a very long time.
