in my opinion the welfare of the animal is the main thing . at the end of the day the animal if going to get killed for meat so if you can give them the best life possible then thats the best thing possible

Ideas are a dime a dozen. Stan Lee should have co-creator credits, yes, but without Steve Ditko’s input
(which was a lot), Spiderman would look and have been a lot different. Ditko deserves co-creator status at the least. Stan Lee also deserves it. Period.

While that should be ‘Nuff Said’!, I know it isn’t. Many people are always willing to take credit for that which they had almost nothing to do with. I’ve personally known artists who make their living by stealing other artists’ material creations and modifying them to enough of an extent to escape prosecution To hear them talk, they created the work they traced. I could give names here, but I won’t.

One lady I knew put together two words inspired by a dream she had and the pictures I created from that dream. Mind you, she did not identify the creature she was talking about, except in the vaguest terms-until I drew it. From the two wordsd she juxtaposed, I had an idea for a story and I wrote it, with virtually no input from her, except two names. Otherwise, she refused to have ANYTHING to do with the actual creative work, such as characters, character design, and story plotting.

She later told me, that, in her eyes she owned my novel…and she created everything about it because she juxtaposed two words. Unbelieveable? Yes. But every claim here is the truth.

So if I take Stan Lee’s claims with an Everest sized grain of salt, please excuse me.

Nowadays swear words are no big deal at all. Its only really a swear word if society in general find it offensive and to be honest, the number of people that do are rapidly diminishing. It shouldnt be encouraged, as it can reduce the appeal of a person to an employer etc, but just with friends and in general household its nothing to worry about as long as kids know when its appropriate.

i am a huge fan of the original gladiators
and i deffinately loved jet and lightning
and i have met panther and hunter in my
home town in leeds once as a teenager
and the show is still fab even now on virgin 1
at weekends and wolf remindes me of alice cooper
because he was scary in a good way and the original
gladiators will remain my fave like a fine wine

I swear, this theme is the sex. I love it to bits. Wordpress 2.5 is really spiffy, except for the non-fluid CSS part but I got that fixed anyway. Plus your poll idea is pretty cool

Thank you for the kind words Paddy, the new theme is still a work in progress. Finally a theme I am happy with, completely designed by me (the php part is completely copy and pasted). There are still going to be lots of changes when find the hours.

I get too bored too quickly to read. On the very rare occasion that I do find a book I’m interested in and one that grabs me though, I will read it in a couple of days, then not read another book for a year.

The Day After Tomorrow by Allan Folsom is by far the best book I’ve ever read. (Nothing to do with the movie). Website looks like sex by the way!

I agree with Amanda, I usually read a lot but the last four years of Uni have killed that (temporarily) because if I am not reading a stats manual, a psychology book or proof-reading essays then I feel guilty.

I think the last book I read completely was Eats, Shoots and Leaves which was quite interesting and funny for a grammar book.

I read quite a lot as I think it’s important. I noticed a few months back my spelling was starting to get a bit awry and I’ve always been a good speller so made myself read more. I’m reading a bunch of books which collectively are know as Earth’s Children by Jean M Auel. It’s all set in the neolithic period and although she isn’t the most amazing authour - her research on that period is second to none. It helps that there’s a bit of a love story (what? I’m a girl) and LOADS of sex.

I’m usually a huge reader, but attending university is terrible for encouraging me to read. There’s just…too much work.

I tend to read a lot of non-fiction. First person accounts of a particular experience, historical textbooks, biographies, etc. etc. I do like a good piece of chick lit though!

PJ bottoms. I LOVE the cold. My doonah (sp?) is freakin’ incredible. Maybe it’s just because Sydney is hardly ever in single digit degrees let alone sub-zero. But a t-shirt would just be too warm, too weird and another thing that needs washing.

I pretty much always sleep naked. Unless I have a friend sleeping in the same room (and that particular friend I’m not sexually involved with).

Although once I passed out drunk naked ON TOP of my bed with the door wide open, but my housemate was kind enough to pull it closed when he walked passed and saw me.

Actually I even walk around the house naked at times. Quite surprised Kira my new (female) housemate hasn’t seen me naked yet.

I wear pyjamas because I also live in a house full of people with a tendency to randomly walk in whenever they feel like it. Plus I feel weird if don’t so I tend to always have at least a t-shirt on.
