I am William James (Jimmie)Melton now 58 years old, and I still can remember the first graveyard working  as a youngster, where we enjoyed great pot lucks or picnic style feeds after racking leaves and cleaning the Melton Cemetery. buried in Melton Cemetery.  She was first married to William Churchwell Riley in Butler County, Alabama, and they moved from there to Louisiana in the 1870s.<br />
I&#8217;d like to share/exchange with anyone who researches this family.<br />
