Happy Christmas Eve!!! I am so stinkin' excited for tomorrow to be here. Today we are cleaning and getting ready for Santa and getting cookies made. Tomorrow I am blessed to get to spend it with my wonderful family and friends. I hope you all are as lucky!

I used Jen's Sketch for you to try for the layout of my card. The dp is from My Mind's Eye and was on my desk so I thought I would go for a nice cheery card and use up my leftover dp. See those little flower brads? I pulled out of my dusty stash of Stamin' Up brads and added some rhinestones with my i-rock tool.

I thought I would share a few cards that I made from past sketch challenges and never got around to uploading. I know I am such a slacker ;) As you probably know by now I love the PI girls from MFT and the fairy girl was just calling for some bling- happy to answer the call LOL. The last card I have had since before Thanksgiving and I don't think I have posted it yet.

Decorating Cookies for santa

On Christmas eve we decorated cookies for Santa. We always have fun and it gives the kiddos something to do with the excited energy they have. I know Santa enjoys eating the cookies we create. This is a short one running late this morning ;) Happy Friday!

Papertrey's make it monday challenge is to emboss your image and then color it with Copics. A challenge involving Copics- I am so IN!! :) It was a great reason to get a teacher card finished and to get some stamp time it!

I went with a clean and simple design using some fabulous dp by LYB. I love how the card turned out on the PTI blog using the stitched flower stamp, when I first saw it I thought it was stitched on!! I need the set now ;)

Stamps are Papertrey: Fruit Fusion- apple and Signature series- butterfly (for sentiment).

Hello!!! I can't believe it is almost Christmas!! Just started my shopping so I am one of the slackers that run around on Christmas eve trying to find a last minute gift. I really think it is because every year it seems to get here earlier so I am in denial until it is too late LOL.

The MFT guest DT challenge was to make a tag- I thought this cute little PI gal was the perfect fit AND I even used up a sheet of Little yellow bicycle paper I just bought Sunday, gee look at me I am NOT a hoarder ;)

I am trying to get a good schedule going so I can get a little more stamping time, don't get me wrong I have been creating just not sharing but I have really missed seeing creations by my friends and sharing mine I am going to try to be on the puter a little more.

So I found these cute little embellishments at Ramona's shop for a STEAL and I was anxious to get to it and use them to show her how I used them! So here ya go girl!! :) I used a sketch that was from Got sketch? Can you believe I am completely caught up on Halloween stuff?! At least there is something I am caught up on LOL! Of course I justified buying some new cute Halloween paper this weekend for the upcoming holiday!!

I got a little surprise of some mojo this morning so I took advantage and played along with PTI's Make it Monday challenge!! The challenge is to color your image using white ink and in the sample they used an adorable little snowman, of course I don't own a pti snowman so I pulled out the next best thing- flowers!!! The set is an oldie but goodie and it was nice to dust it off!!

I decided to do another quick card using the set while it was out but with bright colors!

I seem to be really into the fall-ish colors right now (you will see another one tomorrow) , maybe it is because it is so hot and humid here and I would love to have some fall weather right now ;) Saw a similar card and was inspired to pull out the set and get to work- my strawberry top is PTI's spring moss felt, stamped and cut out. I am happy how the with velvet flower mimics the flowers irl.

I had to buy this cute little girl the other day while cruising my LSS and they were 50% off!! :) you know me, nothin' like a good sale to justify a stamp purchase LOL I thought this Jillibean soup collection of paper was just calling out to be used with the image- I think I found my fav copic colors for the hair, what do you think?

Wowwww it is a HOT HOT HOT one today!! Even the kids went out to play for less than five minutes and came inside saying it was too hot!! They are normally out all day long playing so you know it is hot out there!! LOL

Soo all the stars aligned and I was able to make a couple of cards this week!! Yay for me!! LOL I pulled out one of my favorite paper company, October Afternoon for this card. I think the line is Campfire. This little adorable bear has been neglected in my drawer for such a looong time, I couldn't wait to get him out and use it for July's i ♥ sketches!!

My stamp is a Penny Johnson stamp.

Rock n' Roll butterfly

I had to take a stab at doing the rock n roll technique for the pti make it Monday challenge, I haven't had a chance to play along and I needed to give some love to one of my fav sets so I set some time aside to play. It is one of the first stamping techniques I learned but forget to use!

I am having trouble with editing and cropping my pics so sorry about my picture. I am going to try to load photoshop back on my computer but i am not having luck with electronics lately. DH's computer and cell phone is DEAD and my computer is working but is older than his was so I am crossing my fingers it doesn't crash too!

Oh my this little Pure innocence girl is so stinkin' cute!!! Well I guess I think they all are but this is my newest purchase!! LOL My layout is from last weeks MFT sketch challenge and I pulled some Jillibean soup dp out of my scrap pile. I frequently go through my scrap paper and give my no-longer-think-I-am-ever-going-to use paper to my kids (which is one of their fav times to hang out in my sb room) so I am happy this wasn't added to their stash!! LOL ;)

Yes my little monkey was jumping on the bed and it broke!! I was just waiting for the perfect idea to come for the layout of this funny event, when I was walking around Archiver's and BOOM there was THE PAGE. I had just bought the punch to do the circles so I knew it was yet another sign it was meant to be!!! LOL The colors irl are bright and cheery, hard to capture the colors.

In the directions for the page linked above says the to trim the cs for the circle chain the the width of 1 3/8 but I found that trimming it a little smaller made it work perfectly. There is a video of how to make the circles with the border punch but if you have any question just ask! ;)

Hello Again!! During our last scrapbooking slumber party my wonderful DH made sure the kiddos were kept busy and I think it tired them out!!! I came upstairs to check on everyone and I saw this adorable moment, so of course I grabbed the camera!! I thought for sure that I was going to have to go black and white for the photo, even printed it out! Then on a local sb trip I found the PERFECT paper by Jillibean!! Totally loved how it came together for me!

I know I am a bad bad blogger but then you probably already know that!! LOL I have been crafting a lot lately but just have trouble getting computer time.

When I saw this adorable stamp I HAD to get it. I tell my kids if the see me getting frustrated and I go into the pantry and close the door that mommy is in a timeout!! ha ha ha!! I used the May sketch from iheart2stamp a great layout and I don't get to play along very often. I used my scraps of the dp that were left over from a page (will try to post it soon).

I have another sb page I finished to share with you. I am trying to catch up on my old pictures and especially the birthdays. I didn't have a lot of good pics from this bday and I decided to just do these.

Sorry my colors are off in the pic- the title and ribbon are bright pink and the base is choc chip. My page is a pretty simple one but I had fun using my embossing folder and paint dauber- oooooh and the banner die from MFT!

Our annual trip to the butterfly show last year, as you know I LOVE butterflies and we always have a good time when we go!! This year only one of my kids went with me because the other ones were in school. My neighbor went with us too and I think they had a good time too!
My pp is from Little yellow bicycle and my sketch was from scraproom blog. I just love their sketches, normally I don't finish them by the due date so I was happy this one made it in time :)

I was just waiting for the Hopscotch line to come out so it was so exciting to go to work and see the line in!!! Yay!! I knew what I was going to use it for first! These adorable pics of my daughter practicing her hula hoop skills!! LOL I used the sketch from the pencil lines blog, found HERE

The card was made from a sketch challenge for a magazine and well, I kind of forgot about the deadline and it came and went before I sent it in- oops! oh well I finished a card for my stash and got to use butterflies!! This set is from PTI- I totally LOVE it!

Yes I am still here :) I haven't forgotten about my blog just been super busy- I have had time to scrap and create but not the snapping pics and posting part ;) I plan to get a lot of it done tomorrow to share with you- I am so exciting I am really scrapbooking more and getting back into the groove ;) !!

This is a card I made for one of my BFF's that had a birthday in January. We both have dark hair so I had to practice with the dark hair colors, Black hair is the hardest for me to color Either it is too dark or it just looks gray.

My son is a sweet and caring kid but also a big goofball especially in front of the camera!! LOL When I saw this bright and cheerful paper in the CTMH catalog I knew who I had to have it! I am totally into circles now that I have a circle cutter that cuts up to 12 inches- yay!!

So I had a vision of this sb page after seeing this paper at Archiver's last week. I am proud of myself for coming home and doing it!! Growing up we would do a lot of camping and hiking and my sister and I would LOVE to go right up to the edge of cliffs to look over (it IS beautiful) which would totally freak my mom out!! Of course being a kid, I didn't see the problem and the reaction my mom gave kinda made it even more fun!! hahaha BUT now that I am a mom, I totally get it!!

I made this little Valentine card card from my scraps on my table last week. It felt so good to actually do something with those supplies! My image was even already colored and cut out just waiting to be used (colored two last time so I could make a quick card)! I thought the little heart the says LOVE looked like a cute valentine card she could hold- whatcha think?

Can tell I am playing catch up on some pictures of the kiddos? The "baby" is now 7 years old. ACK! How did that happen? I just LOVE this pic of my son kissing his little sister, he is still such a good and loving big brother. I just know if someone is picking on one of his sisters at school he will be there to protect her!

I have been having some issues with my laptop so I have moved a couple of things over to my sweet hubby's computer. I don't think my old laptop likes photoshop- I removed it from the laptop and it seems to be working much better. Maybe I will just be doing my editing of photos on his computer! ;)

While we on the subject of sweetness, I thought I would share one of my favorite moments...........

A pile of folded matched socks- that I didn't have to do!!! LOL My sweet son did this for me, and I didn't even have to ask him to!! yup, this will probably make it to a scrapbook page!! With a family of six we have lots of socks to do and it can be a big job (he was just starting in the pic)!

ps- I think my layout was a sketch but I can't remember where I got the sketch. I want to give proper credit and I normally keep that info but I guess it is lost in my piles of paper on my desk. (sorry)

Here is my take on the MFT sketch challenge found HERE. I strayed a little on the sketch but I think you can still tell it is there ;) I have been in the valentine mood lately having fun with the pinks and red!! My heart chain ribbon is from Hero Arts, I bought it at my dear friend's shop last time I was there and I have been just itching to use it!
