Skepticism and Insecurites (Companion to the First Episode of "The Mid-West Alarm Clock")

"What's the point? If there is all this corruption everywhere, what's the point in fighting it?" "Even if all these claims are true about 9/11, what does it matter? What will a new investigation do?"

This and many others are responses I get from people who are either unwilling to pay attention, or who try to dismiss a reality they choose to ignore. Of the many issues that I usually get these responses about, I am going to only focus on two of them for the moment: The Attacks on September 11th, 2001 and The Federal Reserve conspiracy. Let's consider a few statements made about 9/11 first as it is the most recent.

1.) "If this 'evidence' is something the government doesn't want you to see, why are so many of you open conspiracy theorists alive? Wouldn't they want to prevent the information from getting out at all costs?"

First, its not evidence they don't want you to see, that is all already hidden away and destroyed under the guise of National Security. It's really the evidence is what they hoped you wouldn't notice after their barrage of lies, half-truths, inconsistencies, fear-mongering and misdirection. Secondly, the government would not be so sloppy to openly kill outspoken "conspiracy theorists" as that would raise suspicion very quickly. Take for example, Jesse Ventura, Charlie Sheen or Alex Jones. Put aside any issues you may have with them as people, if they were "screaming from the rooftops" about 9/11 and then just dropped dead or it was claimed they committed suicide, no one would believe it because not only are they very open about not ever going to kill themselves, they are in the prime of their lives and living fairly well. Say what you will about Mr. Sheen's drug use, outside of that he is a healthy man. If any one of them died soon after talking about 9/11, their entire fanbase would be up in arms and storming the Capitol demanding answers. This is why they won't kill anyone (aside from Bill Cooper which is another issue altogether).

2.) "But the government would never hurts its own people. Wouldn't that be counterproductive?"

The U.S. Government and many other governments have done harm to their citizens before. The Joint Chiefs of Staff actually approved a plan to carry out terrorist attacks and kill U.S. citizens and blame it on Cuba as a justification for invading Cuba. This is documented in a memo called 'Operation: Northwoods'. A government informant has stated that he tried to stop the 1993 World Trade Center bombings, but that the FBI intentionally let the bombing happen. There are many other examples of other governments killing its own people for political gain, and the U.S. Government killing its own as well. As additional examples of the U.S Government letting citizens die based upon deception, many people breathed in highly toxic dust near Ground Zero after the government knowingly misrepresented the risk, going as far as discouraging First Responders from wearing masks. The U.S. Government also misled the American people into the Iraqi War which has caused thousands of American deaths alone.

3.) "If any of this evidence turns out to be true, what does it matter? What would the results of a new investigation do for our country?"

It matters because it would first expose hundreds of crimes by the hands of our government and so many politicians would be convicted of treason. The Patriot Act, which passes as a result of 9/11, would be nullified and all actions of the Bush Administration would be rendered illegitimate, thus bringing up Bush on War Crimes. We could then justify bringing home ALL military members from across the globe. By exposing the cover-up of 9/11, more cover-ups will be blown wide open and then we could return to the bare bones of the currently malnourished Constitution. This would fix the budget, fix the economy and fix the government over the course of the next decade after the investigation would be completed.

Now to tackle the Federal Reserve. This international banking cartel has controlled, manipulated and destroyed our currency since it's inception with the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. There are three major questions I always get asked and I will answer them here for all of you.

1.) "Isn't the Federal Reserve Bank part of the Government?"

No, however it is very much intertwined with the government. The Federal Reserve is certainly not Federal as it is a private corporation owned by private, international businessmen who happen to get involved into the political systems around the world. To really showcase this, look up the Federal Reserve in your government pages in your phone book. You will NOT find it there ,it is in fact in the business pages.

There are a few major families that have stock or ownership in the Federal Reserve including: the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, J.P. Morgan and Goldman-Sachs families among others. For more information on all the families see the "Federal Reserve" tab above or click here.

2.) "So what if it's private? It's made it a whole lot easier to control and regulate our money supply. That's all that matters right?"

This is not an issue of whether or not its easier or quicker for out money, its a matter of Constitutionality. According to Article 1, Section 8, Clause 5 of the Constitution it states: "The Congress shall have power to coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures"

The Constitution did not give Congress power to give the power to some other body just because it may be more convenient. For the record, the Federal Reserve has NOT made it easier on the economy, in fact it has created the economic problems through their ability to hyper-inflate our currency.

3.) "Well okay, if all that is true, what can we do about it?"

At this point, all we can do is yell and scream from the rooftops to end the Federal Reserve and call for our Congressmen to vote to end it. We will never break out of our failed economy without such change.

People who make these claims and statements seem to be out of touch with what reality is to the point where they are scared and insecure in even reading anything contrary to what they have heard their entire life. I understand the fear and insecurity just these two topics bring. These should make you uncomfortable and even sick to your stomach to think that the American people have allowed this kind of tyranny to live this long in the country that fought to get rid of such tyranny.

We fight an uphill battle between the people who try to discredit us, and the elite who pull the strings on society. However we must remember that nothing is impossible. As the great Dr. Ron Paul said in his book "Liberty Defined: The 50 Urgent Issues That Affect Our Freedom": “Ideas are very important to the shaping of society. In fact, they are more powerful than bombings or armies or guns. And this is because ideas are capable of spreading without limit. They are behind all the choices we make. They can transform the world in a way that governments and armies cannot. Fighting for liberty with ideas makes more sense to me than fighting with guns or politics or political power. With ideas, we can make real change that lasts.” The truth will prevail, even if its not in my lifetime.

How People Try To Justify Theft

While roaming around the internet and watching many chat rooms and forums on the economy, the occupy movement and the rich elite, I saw a disturbing trend. Most of the people chatting were saying that we need to take from the super rich and just hand it out to the poor (better described as themselves). This concept would throw us in to a moral dilemma: Should we return evil with evil, or do the right thing?

Let's keep in mind that many of those who have all the money did so using underhanded, wrongful and scamming business plans designed to fool those who get involved. That is not to say that at some level they didn't do something to earn that money. I do not like the "1%" but they certainly have done more to get their money than those who have been illegitimately living off the welfare system because they are "entitled" to other peoples money. Here we have too extremely greedy group of people. There is one who has tons of money and wants more, and then there are those who have none but want all of it. There is no solving economic problems in the United States by simply taking from one group and giving to another. The issue goes as deep as the actual currency.

Our entire money system is based on a fiat currency. THAT is where the problem lies at the fundamental level. Taking from the rich to give to the poor means nothing when the money isn't worth the paper its written on. Occupy Movement: My Take On The Modern "Revolution"

As a frequent supporter of protests and demonstrations, I love the enthusiasm that is coming from largely a younger base of protesters. I'm used to being around 30-50 somethings who are not happy with the current situation citing Reagan or other presidents of old who "did the right thing". I'm excited that many understand that there is a power structure of corporations that have all the money. The problem is this movement is very disorganized and is not going after the right people. They are even doing it in a way that goes against the whole idea of freedom, individuality, and personal expression.

What has disturbed me the most was the "Quick guide on group dynamics...". I found that within that guide, they spoke of collective thinking. This creates a hive mentality and anything that goes against it is met with hostility and immediately thrown out. For those who are trying to protest against the censorship, mislabeling, and collective idea of corporations, its sad to think that they would allow this kind of action to take place.

Lets be clear. Businesses and corporations are not inherently evil. When those corporations get into a place of political power, that's when problems arise. The protesters that I have heard most commonly who are speaking for the collective speak of sharing the wealth, the right to jobs, and the right to certain monies that have not actually been earned. They believe that the rich 1% should just hand out their money to everyone. While that is an interesting and entertaining idea in itself, it would do nothing. As much as I despise the super rich as many of them are trying to take further control of the government and the people, their money was earned by them and no one is entitled to take money from someone simply because they feel they deserve it for doing nothing.

Capitalism is not perfect, but the socialism that people want to get money for doing nothing has not, will not and can not work ever. Our issue is corporations that have taken control of the money making of our country. Sure, corporate greed is a bad thing, but that is the lesser of evils in our country.

My suggestion to the Occupy crowd is to take on the Federal Reserve as it is neither Federal, nor a reserve. They are creating the inflation that is hurting Americans with soaring prices and devaluation of currency. Occupy Wall Street will do nothing. Occupy the FED will. Do your research on the Federal Reserve and follow the trail to the major 7 families. The major names you will recognize are: The Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, J.P. Morgan, Goldman-Sachs, and the Koch Brothers. They all have a share in our money system.

That being said, the Occupy movement has been very successful in getting its message (albeit a confused and jumbled one) across to millions of people. Once they finally recognize where the real power structure is and calls that group out, that's when things will happen.

What is a Conspiracy Theory? Real Definition vs. Illogical Slur

As many of you may know, I question things such as the official investigation of 9/11, JFK's assassination, the OKC bombing, the death of Bin Laden and the list goes on. Many people would say, "Oh you believe all those bullshit conspiracy theories. That is just talk of crazies who think the government is out to get them. Go put on your tin foil hat you nut job."

To that I simply ask," What is the definition of 'conspiracy theory'?"
They stammer and stumble over their words trying to say that it is a story that people come up with to make the government (who can do no wrong to that level) the bad guy. Lets put this all to rest right here and now. Regardless whether you believe one way or another, lets come to a basic understanding here. Merriam-Webster Dictionary Online defines conspiracy theory as: a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators. This definition says nothing of governments, secret societies, of big businesses. Let me break this definition down even simpler. A conspiracy theory is nothing more than a hypothesis or theory that explains an event as the result of a single person or group. This means that anything that can be thought of can be the result of a conspiracy theory. This means that a prosecuting attorney is making his case, no matter how correct and true, based on a conspiracy theory. If your accuse someone of clogging the toilet based on loose evidence of their last bowel movement, no matter how correct and true, is a claim based on a conspiracy theory.

When your break it down as such, it becomes very difficult to claim that "conspiracy theorists" are all crazy. Are there many who are wrong? Yes. Are there many how are kind of crazy? Absolutely. Does that mean we need to demean many logical ideas or questions by using an innocent phrase as a slur? No

Consider then in that mindset, that any accusation of wrongdoing is a conspiracy theory, the events of 9/11. ( I am not going to list facts or my opinion in this post. Please visit www.bradticus.webs.com to find out my ideas and theories on 9/11) Yes, there are those who say that the government is either responsible or implicit in the attacks and that there is a cover-up of evidence. That is a conspiracy theory. However, the government's explanation of the events and who is responsible is in itself also a conspiracy theory. This means that you are in fact a conspiracy theorist. Its just a case of which you believe.

Simply dismissing something because you don't understand it or refuse to investigate someone's claims by using a neutral term as a slur shows your inability to think and debate logically. So, I encourage you to take the time and listen to all sides of a story before you make a decision, the results may surprise you. Will you find crazy people and illogical ideas? Yes. It will however show others that respect and intelligent conversation will take you farther that dismissal.

The Dangers of a Private Central Bank

Over our 235 year history, we have had to endure 3 private central banks. These central banks whose claim was to regulate and secure the money system to stabilize it, only used the banking system to turn giant profit for themselves.

In order to understand our current economic crisis, we must understand where we came from economically. According to Article 1, Section 8, Clause 5 of the United States Constitution states "The Congress shall have power to coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the Standards of Weights and Measures..." In other words, our Congress is the only body of people allowed by the Constitution to control the money supply.

This means that a private corporation, which is what the Federal Reserve (Fed) is, is illegal and those who wrote and voted on and signed the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 have commited not only fraud but a form of treason by allowing foreign investors and foreign interests to control our money system. Our money system in itself is more powerful that our government for the simple fact that when money and prices are regulated, they control how we live our life. What food we buy, what we wear, how we travel and all aspects of life.

The issue at hand with the Fed is not only that it is private and not actually federal, it does not even have significant reserves. In true reserve banking, the banks have gold, silver or other valuable object to back up the value of the paper currency. We do not have that. They follow what is called fractional-reserve banking. That is the concept that they can hand out or print more money than they have reserves. This creates inflation and inevitable debt. Obviously using basic math, loaning out $10 when you only actually have $1 would not work, yet these banks are creating money out of thin air. We are entering a state of hyperinflation to the point where our money is pretty much worth only a few pennies.

We are in a couple trillion dollar black hole of debt, and that is just whats been spent by our out of control government. With the constant printing of money, we are closer to a few quadrillion dollar black hole. That inflation created the first Great Depression and will continue our "recession".
