Hello Everyone.

The Sleeping Beast that is the MIKE ANDERSONPROJECT PODCAST is about to awake from it's sleep.

The hiatus is coming to end and the M.A.P. would like to close out the year with at least two more episodes. The only thing missing is the music and that's where you come in!

When the podcast first started, most music was obtained by downloading off of MySpace, but now less and less music is available that way. So, it is up to you, the artist to get me your music if you want it featured on the show. Contact on myspace or feel free to e-mail an MP3 to mikeandersonproject@gmail.com.

P.S. Big decisions about this podcast will be made between now and the end of the year. Should I stay or should I go? Your input is more important than ever.

A Minor Delay With Episode V

The last episode of the podcast for 2006 was scheduled for yesterday.

The back up release date was today.

Unfortunately, there is a small delay with "Episode V" of the MIKE ANDERSON PROJECT Podcast.

Stay tuned! The new episode will be released within 48 hours.

Now, onto some other business.

It was mentioned in the last podcast that the MIKE ANDERSON PROJECT would like to close out the year with a 'holiday special.' The only thing missing was YOUR HOLIDAY MUSIC. What were we looking for? Maybe a version of Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause, The Hanukkah Song or even AC/DC's Mistress For Christmas? It didn't matter what the song, I wanted to hear it.

Unfortunately, only one indie holiday song crossed our path, so that means, the holiday special is a no go. We'll close out the year with your regularly scheduled Episode of the M.A.P.

I'll use this as a reminder to say, the MIKE ANDERSON PROJECT Podcast, a podcast that plays only indie music, needs your music to continue in the New Year.

So, unless I can download your song from MySpace, etc., YOU HAVE TO CONTACT US and E-MAIL YOUR SONGS!

Time Is Running Out on the Holiday Special

It was mentioned in the last podcast and the offer is still on the table, but first YOU and YOUR BAND gotta anti up!

The last Episode of the podcast for 2006 is scheduled for the weekend of December 16. The MIKE ANDERSON PROJECT would like to close out the year with a 'holiday special.' The only thing missing is YOUR HOLIDAY MUSIC.

Have you ever recorded a version of ANY holiday song?

Maybe a version of Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause, The Hanukkah Song or even AC/DC's Mistress For Christmas?

It doesn't matter what the song, I want to hear it. I need, at the very least, seven songs for Episode 5. If more songs come in (and time isn't an issue for yours truly) a bonus talk free episode of the podcast will be released in time for Christmas Eve and your holiday listening pleasure with friends and family.

Your song submission can be studio or live, I just ask for a somewhat decent quality.

Canadian Music Week (CMW) - (always a good time when I attended) is calling all independent labels and recording artists to submit their nominations for The Indies - the 2007 Independent Music Awards.

The event will kick off the CMW 07 festivities held in Toronto on Wednesday, March 7, 2007.

All applications must be submitted by November 15th.

I need your opinion and I would really appreciate it if you left your thoughts as 'comments' on the http://blog.myspace.com/mikeandersonproject blog with the title "I Need Your Opinion."

Should future episodes of the MIKE ANDERSON PROJECT podcast be themed shows?

What I mean is this:

Would you the listener prefer one genre of music per show (for example, an all metal show, all punk show, all rock-a-billy, all straight-up rock, all pop adult, etc.) or would you prefer multiple genres in each show?

I'd really like your opinion as soon as possible. It may impact the next shows content.
