This year, the Summit theme was “Moving from Wired to Wireless” and Bradford Mill tenant, RapidBuyr (www.rapidbuyr.com), was chosen as one of only eight preview companies to be highlighted at the event.  RapidBuyr CEO and founder, Tom Aley, had a mere five minutes to pitch RapidBuyr to the audience and capture their attention. With some auctioneer-like fast talking, impressive presentation graphics and a killer demo, Tom was able to not only capture their attention, but also secure the SIIA Previews Most Likely to Succeed Award at the prestigious Codie Awards reception the first evening of the event. • Exterior Improvements.  Ancient clapboard siding on 23 and 33 Bradford will be replaced with durable Hardie Plank siding.  New, insulated low-E windows will be installed.  The entry ways will be updated.  The loading docks will be rebuilt.  Asphalt on the main parking lot will be repaired.
  
• Interior Improvements.  We are going to install new, high efficiency HVAC in 23 Bradford as the first step toward retiring the 1939 boiler that currently heats the entire property.  A new stair core will be added to 33 Bradford.

The buildings are steadily being brought up to code on all fronts – electrical, plumbing, fire safety, accessibility…  It’s a journey, and it’s a good one.

These is the first phase in a project that is likely to span several years and should have a dramatic effect on all the residents of the Bradford Mill.

Our hope is that when you need to make the trek into West Concord for coffee, lunch, or errands, you will opt to leave the car in the lot and take advantage of the bike sharing program.  Each bike will have a large basket to help you transport your purchases and will be emblazoned with the Bradford Mill logo to discourage mischievous teenagers from taking them home.

Rex Lumber and New England Hardwood are ten minutes away. The shop has 24/7 access and there is lots of parking.
