This session seeks to explore God’s perspective on raising a family against the backdrop of our culture’s perspective. We’ll discuss God’s missional purpose behind having kids, considerations and timing of when or when not to have kids, birth control, & other issues of faith.

This session seeks to deepen our understanding of God’s design behind sexual intimacy. We’ll also address ways to promote a healthy sexual intimacy in marriage, as well as discuss barriers to that health.

This session seeks to identify the importance and role of romance in a marriage. In doing so, we’ll identify both it’s theological value and it’s practical outworking in a marriage relationship.

This session seeks to explore how conflict arises in a marriage and a biblical approach to resolving conflict, in order to ensure the mission of Christ is exalted in the home.

This session seeks to explore the differing ways in which we, as spouses, give and receive love for/from one another. In doing so, we’ll begin laying the foundation for communication and how we can better respond in understanding and serving one another’s needs.

In this session, we’ll explore the specific roles that God has designed a husband and wife to fulfill in seeking to support the marriage covenant.

In this session, we will focus on the importance of both “building” and “defending” the covenant of marriage that has been established between a husband and wife. Included is the evaluation tool used as homework in this session.

In this session, we will focus on the underlying values that define our marriages on a day to day basis. These are the values that will either propel the mission of marriage, or potentially hinder us from it.

In this session, we will focus on God’s original design of marriage and its intended purpose of portraying the Gospel of Jesus Christ and fulfillment of the Great Commission.
