This is a difficult question and one that requires considerable thought and analysis. To help you wade through the pros and cons, iPadCTO has created this comprehensive list of issues and provided a pros-cons template to quickly begin to quantify your requirements. At the outset, it is important to say that this is not a debate about which approach, native or web, should win in the marketplace. Rather, it is far more sensible to debate on how positive and negative attributes of a particular development strategy will unfold in the context of a specific business requirement. As such, this eBook will focus on an objective to first establish a context, and then apply sensible and rational arguments, either for or against web or native apps.

Along with this free eBook you will also receive a free email newsletter that provides timely guidance concerning iPad in the enterprise direct to your inbox.
This guide covers the steps and procedures to passing an IT GRC audit -- as told by an enterprise end-user who deployed QualysGuard Policy Compliance. The tool allowed the audit team to be more productive by focusing time on analyzing the data and preparing for audits -- instead of administrating the tool.
Your customers and employees are increasingly gathering in online communities of like-minded people, and there is an urgent, growing need to nurture these communities. The organizations that succeed and leverage this social momentum increase loyalty, brand value, and revenue. Those that fail to do so will be stuck merely watching as their communities self-organize wherever the community wants to - probably out of sight, out of mind and out of the influence of the organization.

Realtor.com mobile apps have been downloaded 3.6 million times and active users have increased by 79 percent in four months.
Finding the ideal home among the millions of properties on Realtor.com is fast, easy and fun with the Realtor.com iPad app:

Draw Your Own Search Boundaries anywhere in the U.S. with Area Highlighter. It's fast and allows for hyper-local searches down to street levels. Tap the Show More Listings button, and more properties instantly populate the map. Use the iPad's finger controls to slide, pinch, zoom and pan through a map to drill down into a neighborhood or particular street.

Personalize your experience by rating properties and saving personal notes on each home for later reference or to share with an agent via email. Sort, refine or filter your search results according to what's important to you – price, distance, square footage, etc. Create new searches for homes or open houses nationwide or nearby based on your location, MLS ID number, or by city, state, or street name. Tap My Real Estate to instantly access My Listings, My Saved Searches, or My Recent Searches.

Stay Connected with an agent from each listing detail page via email with questions or to schedule a tour. Store their contact details within the app so it's easier to send notes, comments and ratings about properties to your agent. Keep friends and family connected to your house hunting adventure by sharing favorite properties via email, Facebook and Twitter.

IT management must attempt to channel the chaos and determine ways to embrace the personal mobility wave while maintaining effective security and management measures, especially in relation to the corporate network.

This new environment calls for innovative mobile strategies, new policies, and a fresh approach to allowing smartphones access to corporate resources. IT management must take a leadership role in setting those strategies and policies. Download this white paper to learn more.
You saved the work on your desktop computer, but you only have your laptop with you and you have no way to access the file. This problem, and others like it, are increasingly common today. It isn't unusual to own both a desktop and a laptop computer, and a smartphone on top of that. Dropbox solves these issues by making it easy to synchronize files between computers. One of the greatest strengths of Dropbox is the large number of platforms it supports. Computers running Linux, OS X and Windows are all supported. This would normally be considered very good, but Dropbox takes things a step further by offering support for mobile devices.
As we zoom in, we visualize other established and emerging social services that depict provinces and outlying settlements of our social atlas.

As Social Media is truly global and relationships are truly without borders, it's incredibly important to understand the social behavior associated within each platform that host conversations relevant to your projects regardless of their geographic location.

Brian Solis has been actively writing about new marketing and communications since the mid 90s to document how the Web was redefining the communications industry — he coined PR 2.0 along the way before focusing his efforts on the greater impacts on the future of marketing and media. He was also among the original thought leaders working to organize and define the “Social Media” movement to establish a definitive media category.

His new book, Engage, provides a deep review of the evolution of new media and how to integrate new technologies and methodologies into everyday activity. It is written for champions and executives alike in business, marketing, branding, interactive, service, and communications with a mission to help all aspects of business to the table.
But do you know who founded the company and why it is unique? Here's the inside scoop. Authors David Vise and Mark Malseed tell the story of Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin in fast-moving, energetic prose, from start-up to triumph. The authors spend little time considering any of the possible negative aspects associated with Google, but most readers will find that it hardly matters because their book is downright fun, and it ends with a useful set of Google search tips.
