Front Desk Administrator Nature Doctors, Manitoba’s largest integrative Naturopathic clinic, is seeking a part-time (will likely turn into full time) front desk administrator to begin as soon as possible. This position will include general front desk tasks such as filing, scheduling and invoicing patients. Additionally, the front desk administrator is responsible for answering phones, providing information to interested callers and booking in new patients. Applicants must be particularly interested in Naturopathic medicine and must have a strong desire to answer questions and articulately explain this therapeutic practice. New allergy treatment available for seasonal allergies

Have you had a skin prick test on your arm and told you have issues with dust, ragweed etc. only to be told that antihistamines are your only course of treatment. Well, there's a new way to combat seasonal allergies and it will help fix the problem once and for all. Native Americans once took to the practice of eating small amounts of Poisin Ivy so that they would not be bothered by it on their skin. This was a type of sensitization practice that is now being used successfully for children with peanut allergies. We are officially launching a new Cancer Care program of which there is information on the website as well as new Intravenous Treatment Options. There are a few events that are posted on the website that I think most of you will be interested in. Dr. Dara Morden ND is running a program through the leisure guide about Adrenal Fatigue. This will be an information packed session that will not only introduce people to Naturopathic Medicine but give them insights into why they are tired and tips on how to get better. I will be co-presenting a talk at the Winnipeg Winter Club on Sept. 13 with Momtchil Momtchilov CPT - our favorite Personal Trainer. We will be discussing practical tips to help people make better food and exercise choices with a busy life. It will have a workshop component where attendees will share their own ideas and learn from each other. You can sign up by phoning the clinic no later than Sept. 9th.
