I haven't posted here in awhile. Sorry, life has been a bit crazy with the holidays coming up and craft shows and custom orders and whatnot. But even with how busy I've been, I scratched out a few moments to whip up this little "Cupcake Nubbin" as my entry for the Rochester NY Etsy Street Team's Monthly Challenge for December. The theme for this month was "Culinary Trends & Sweet Treats". I've noticed that cupcakes, play food, and anthropomorphic food (ie: food with faces) have been trending lately. ;)

I'd also like to share the "Moustache Nubbin" that I made for last month's challenge. (the theme was "Movember/No-Shave-November". ) I didn't win though. I only lost by about one or two votes.

I usually don't do Christmas specific items, but these little guys were begging to come out of my silkscreen machine. I did a few nice, a few mean and a few mangled. I really love how they turned out and am anxious to see how my little gingerbread army does at my event this weekend!

King of the Sea! He's up for sell on my Etsy site and I plan on making more minature villians. He's adorable; I'm almost sad to sell him. So tiny you can hold him in the palm of your hand AND he has a crown. I made him out of some felt and an old blazer that had fantastic fabric.

Ingrid the Sweater Monster

I've made some of these before, and each one is different... they've mostly been adopted out to Japan and California, but otherwise, I can't figure out any specific demographic. :D
