Withnail & I is perhaps our favourite film of all time, so neon are looking forward to visiting ‘Withnail & Me: The Finale Photographs by Murray Close‘.

This photography exhibition showcases a collection of iconic photographs and previously unseen prints taken on location in Camden and Cumbria during the filming of this now cult classic film.

Panned on it’s release, this film is living proof you shouldn’t always listen to critics. If you haven’t seen the film then we highly recommend watching it. If you have seen the film then this exhibition should be of interest to you.

The D*FACE New World Disorder exhibition includes the artists latest body of work, reflecting upon times of chaos, disorder and loss, as informed by shifting circumstances in the social climate.

Exploring topical and longstanding dystopian sentiments, New World Disorder confronts the effects of love and loss from a physical, mental and cultural standpoint, drawing upon the artist’s direct experiences.

The exhibition also features a one off opportunity to experience D*Face’s working environment by visiting his studio space which is located above the StolenSpace Gallery inside The Old Truman Brewery. The gallery is being relocated so this opportunity also marks the end of an era.

At first that may seem a rather unusual way to experience the zoo but we have been assured this was great fun last year and neon are looking forward to attending.

This year Bordeaux Wines are the exclusive wine sponsor for Zoo Lates 2013 at ZSL London Zoo. Every Friday night in June and July, Zoo Lates will be giving grown-ups the chance to see one of our capital city’s most iconic attractions in a completely new light.

Offering a place to relax and soak up the buzzing atmosphere of Zoo Lates, Bordeaux wines are providing a large selection of red, white and rosé wines to sip and share in The Bordeaux Jardin du Vin. Brand new for 2013, the garden wine bar is located in the centre of the zoo. Bordeaux wines will also be offering masterclasses each night by way of sampling. Sounds great!

The Zoo Lates international street food festival will also be dishing up mouth-watering meals every Friday night, with more than 21 vendors serving fast, fresh and fabulous cuisine from around the world.

Lates-goers will have the opportunity to see the Zoo’s newest residents, Sumatran tigers Jae Jae and Melati in their £3.6m Tiger Territory exhibit.

Mercedes-Benz – the GL-Class Road Trip Competition is an adventurous ‘virtual’ Road Trip to Africa in which a lucky winner gets to experience a ‘real world’ all expenses paid trip to South Africa.

To enter this competition all you need to do is answer questions at each of seven milestone cities on the virtual road trip, you are given the chance to then stake a claim on the competitions leaderboard.

After the success of its first two sold-out events, Ritual returns to west London for a third instalment of outstanding electronic music. Injecting Chelsea with a healthy dose of house and electro, Ritual at Under The Bridge will see the legendary dance music duo X-Press 2 take to the decks. X-Press 2 are club culture royalty and house music pioneers who are cited as a key influence by all the major players riding the resurgent house music wave and they remain as relevant today as when they first appeared on the scene in 1992. X-Press 2 are joined by Norwegian ‘space-disco’ DJ and record producer Thomas Moen Hermansen who goes under the alias Prins Thomas and Leeds-based deep house DJ and producer Hot Since 82 who is one of the hottest names on the scene right now. Also appearing will be Balou & JDP and live electronic act Lumi as Ritual at Under The Bridge continues to bring electronic legends and future trail blazers to its west London home Under The Bridge.

Ritual at Under The Bridge is a monthly night from the team behind Tempo Tantrum and The Music League championing the best in electronic music, taking place at stylish and recently launched west London music venue Under the Bridge. Bull paints in oil on canvas to present figures that are often masked, hooded or in some way concealed. They enact undefined movements, formed from abstract, undulating rhythms of the brush stroke. These are figures that are in flux, fleetingly tangible, yet at the same time abstracted and unknowable. They rest in a perpetual state of disguise.

Throughout her practice Bull explores these perceptions of reality and illusion, investigating fragmentary instances where the real merges with the fantastical. She draws upon a lexicon of imagery, from books on witchcraft and cults, to silent film stills and occult magazines, to explore a history of practices that shift the everyday into realms of spiritual, ritualistic or psychedelic perception.

Space also plays an important part in Bull’s paintings. Her figures are often enveloped by spaces that feel simultaneously familiar and unreal, sliding in to an abstract and undulating form that reflects the figure’s alternate state of perception.
