In an announcement from the .ME registry’s executive director Predrag Lesic said:

The .ME Registry  is now open for domain name registrations on a first-come, first-served basis, and if initial indicators are accurate, the .ME domain names will move quickly. Open Registration officially began on July 17 2008.

‘Search Engine Optimisation’ or SEO for short is the term associated to the methods used to help web sites gain better rankings in search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN etc. However, it must be understood that such methods offer no guarantee of appearing higher in search engines, no matter what anyone says.
