This past Saturday law enforcement conducted a search at Watershed Park in Kirkland, Washington in the case of missing Sky Metalwala. It is reported that “several items of interest” were located during that search and that those items have been sent of for analysis.

Police expanded their search in this case to the Kirkland area, and in particular the heavily wooded Watershed park area, due to tips that came in reportedly on the afternoon/evening of Friday. Those tips appear to have come in after law enforcement published new photos of Sky in hopes someone would recognize the child.

As for Julia Biryukova, who has lied to police from the start of this investigation and then refused to cooperate past the first day – instead hiding behind her lawyer, instead of assisting police to find her missing son, she’s been busy uploading pictures to her Flickr page. Several of the photos uploaded in the past week have Sky in them. This is most likely a reaction by Julia to the fact that people following the case noticed she had virtually no pictures of her son (but multitudes of picture of her daughter) on her Facebook account. She probably feels the need to keep up appearances since it has come out that in recent divorce filings Sky’s father alleged Julia had shared she had dreams of strangling Sky to death.

Mother of Aliayah Lunsford Violates Federal Probation

Lena Lunsford, mother of missing Aliayah Lunsford, 3, has violated her federal probation terms, according to court documents.

U.S. Pretrial Services Officer Brian Kilgore recommended home incarceration and substance abuse treatment for Lunsford, U.S. District Court documents state. Kilgore wrote that she has violated the terms of her probation with two incidences of "non-compliance."

Federal records show State Police troopers found Lena Lunsford and her husband Ralph in possession of synthetic drug bath salts in Clarksburg on Nov. 1. The records show Lunsford then failed to report the incident to her supervising officer.

Federal authorities arrested Lunsford in October for charges related to federal welfare fraud.

Her daughter, Aliayah Lunsford, has been missing since Sept. 24. An FBI-led investigative team is still looking for her.

Lena Lunsford released a statement last week, asking people to keep her family in their prayers. She also said she would, "continue to fully cooperate with the investigators who are working so hard for Aliayah's return home."

Regarding her probation case, however, Kilgore wrote, "The defendant appears to be demonstrating a lack of willingness to fully cooperate with the conditions of her supervision, and she appears to be selectively censoring what she wants her supervising officer to know."

She has a bond revocation hearing Nov. 28 at federal court in Elkins.

Today I wanted to post a recap and timeline of baby Lisas Case.

The past seven weeks in the case of missing Missouri baby Lisa Irwin has been fraught with twists and turns, and around every corner it seems there are more questions than answers.

Things moved very quickly in the case of missing St. Louis baby, Tyler Dasher. His mother, 20-year-old Shelby Dasher, told police he was abducted from his crib Monday night while she slept.

Very fortunately one of the first responding detectives had extensive experience working with abused and neglected children. He realized quickly this was no abduction and police mobilized very quickly.

It wasn’t long before two women walking their dogs came upon Tyler’s body, and that police were not only able to get a confession from his mother, but she also led them to his body

Sadly, things have moved much slower in Baby Lisa's case.

Baby Lisa’s parents, Deborah Bradley, 25, and Jeremy Irwin, 29, say their baby was abducted from her crib between the hours of 6:40 p.m. Oct. 3, and 3:45 a.m. Oct. 4. Their inconsistent stories and refusal to cooperate with police have placed them under a cloud of suspicion by both police and the public.

On Oct. 3, Jeremy arrived home at around 2:30 p.m. from his day job and played with his kids. Between the hours of 4 and 5:30 p.m. the couple’s next door neighbors, James and Samantha Brando, returned home from a counseling session and announced they would be separating. Deborah and Samantha are very close friends.

Deborah and her brother left to the store where she was seen purchasing a box of wine and baby products. They returned home shortly, Deborah's brother left, and she prepared dinner for her family, Samantha, and her 4-year-old daughter.

Samantha reports the last time she saw Baby Lisa was 4:30 p.m., and the last time her daughter saw Lisa was 6:30 p.m.

Jeremy left for his first overnight shift at a local Starbucks. Shortly after he left Samantha went to the store to purchase her own alcohol. There was no mention where her 4-year-old daughter was at this time.

Samantha returned and from about 6:30 p.m. to about 10:30 p.m. she and Deborah sat on the front stoop of Deborah’s home. Deborah claims the last time she saw Baby Lisa was at 6:40 p.m.

The women smoked cigarettes, drank, and talked. It was reported that at some point Deborah’s 5-year-old son, Jeremy’s 8-year-old son, and Samantha’s daughter were in the boys’ room watching a video. It was not reported when Samantha’s daughter left the room or if she went home that night.

During the time the ladies sat on the front stoop, a new neighbor named Shane came and visited with them. Deborah claimed she went inside at 10:30 p.m. and went to bed.

At that time Shane and Samantha reportedly went to Samantha’s house where they sat outside talking until about 11:30 p.m. At 10:33 p.m. Samantha received a text from her husband, she texted him back at 10:54 p.m. Samantha says she remembers seeing lights out at Deborah’s. She said she believes whatever happened had to have happened after 11:30 p.m.

Deborah and Jeremy’s New York-based defense attorney, Joe Tacopina, said the original 8:30 p.m. time that Megan Wright’s phone received a call from Deborah’s phone was incorrect, and that the correct time is actually 11:57 p.m.

At 12:15 a.m. a couple living around the corner from the Bradley/Irwin home reported the following morning seeing a man walking with a baby. The man was dressed in dark pants and a white t-shirt, they said, and from what the y could see, the baby was dressed in only a diaper.

At 2:15 a.m. what appears to be a person wearing white was seen on surveillance video emerging from woods behind a gas station about ½ mile from the Bradley/Irwin home.

At 2:30 a.m. a dumpster just blocks away was on fire, and the person who reported the fire said they believe propellants were used to start the fire.

Megan Wright claims she went to the Waffle House restaurant at 3 a.m. because she was irritated with her roommates. She said a man named Dane had recently moved into the home where she was living temporarily. He used her cellphone that evening and she was irritated that he deleted her call log.

Tacopina said cell phone records show someone tried to access Deborah’s voicemail at 3:17 a.m. and 3:22 a.m., and that between those times they tried to access the internet five times.

Police verified Jeremy was at Starbucks until 3:30 a.m. At 3:45 a.m. Jeremy returns home from work. Though he was unable to reach Deborah by phone that night, she said she wasn’t alarmed he hadn’t called to tell her he would be home so late.

When Jeremy returned home he noticed the front door was unlocked, lights were on in the house, and a front window was open. As he walked down the hall he looked into his son’s room and saw his son in his bunk bed. He said Deborah’s son was in bed with her. However, he later said both boys were in bed with Deborah.

When he walked into his bedroom he saw a stray cat asleep at the foot of the bed. He became irritated about the cat and the lights because the family was struggling financially. He realized he had not checked Baby Lisa’s bedroom so went back down the hall and discovered she was missing from her crib.

He told Deborah she was missing and said they panicked. Within moments they were running around the house screaming her name and looking for her. They noticed three cellphones missing from their kitchen counter. Deborah said she was reprogramming the numbers the night before.

Jeremy ran next door to Samantha’s house and, according to one report, demanded to know where Baby Lisa was. Samantha said she didn’t know and wondered why he would ask her that. He then took his work cellphone and called 911.

At 4:10 am. Mike Thompson, who lived 90 minutes from Kansas City, said he was riding his motorcycle and exited off I-530 freeway at 48th Street. At the intersection of 48th and Randolph he said he saw a man walking with a baby. The man was dressed in white pants and a white t-shirt and the baby was dressed in a white t-shirt and diaper, he said. He reported what he saw a week later.

The first reports on Oct. 4 were that Baby Lisa was likely abducted, but that changed very quickly and by Oct. 5 police were already saying the timeframe of the baby’s abduction was an ‘investigative challenge.,’ Their focus quickly shifted to the parents who were questioned late into the night, though they said the parents were still being cooperative at that point. They had little to go on.

On Oct. 5, the couple plead for their daughter's safe return.

By Oct. 6 police said the parents were no longer cooperating. Things went from bad to worse and Baby Lisa’s parents have not agreed to speak with police since Oct. 8, stating they were not comfortable with police questioning and interrogation tactics.

On Oct. 7 a landfill close to the Bradley/Irwin home was searched for a second time. Deborah claimed she took and failed a lie detector test.

Oct. 8 is the last time baby Lisa’s parents met with police. Police were glad the lines of communication seemed to be reopened, but as quickly as they were reopened, they were closed for good.

On Oct. 9 police returned to the home to re-enact a possible abduction scenario.

On Oct. 10 a drainage ditch was searched near the family's home.

Oct. was Lisa's 11-month birthday. Surveillance video of Deborah seen purchasing a box of wine and some baby products on Oct. 3 was released. Local media were subpoenaed for all their interview footage of the parents and friends to police.

On Oct. 12 New York private investigator Bill Stanton says he has been hired by a private benefactor to work with Jeremy and Deborah.

Oct. 14 the anonymous donor offers a $100,000 reward for the return of Lisa.

On Oct. 16 a local homeless handyman, ‘Jersey,’ was arrested on unrelated charges and questioned about Lisa’s disappearance. The National Guard joined in the search for Baby Lisa.

Police continued searching the family’s home, property, surrounding areas, landfills, emptied a lake – all to no avail.

On Oct. 17 Deborah announced on national TV that she had been drinking the night her baby went missing, was drunk, and might have blacked out. She said she feared she’d be arrested, continuing to claim she had nothing to do with the baby’s disappearance.

That day, New York defense attorney Joe Tacopina stepped in and took over. Police continue requesting parents come in to answer questions. Parents continue to refuse.

Oct. 17 is also the day the FBI cadaver dog hit on deceased human decomposition in an area on the parent’s bedroom floor. There was much debate about whether the hit meant anything or not. Some say yes, some say no.

The parent’s attorney, Tacopina, claimed cadaver dog hits mean nothing and that they could have hit on a dirty diaper or toenails.

That brought up the question: Would the FBI spend the money and time training these dogs if they hit on every diaper and toenail in their path? Some say if that were the case the dogs would be worthless. These dogs, trainers say, are very accurate and are trained to detect deceased human decomposition.

On Oct. 18 searches continued with police issues no-fly zones in their search areas. Reports began emerging about Deborah’s inconsistent story.

On Oct. 20 police conducted a 17-hour search of the Bradley/Irwin home.

By this time the finger was pointed at the parents. The public could not understand why these parents would not speak with police when police were saying they had questions only the parents could answer.

They didn’t understand why, when their two sons ages 5 and 8 were in the house at the time of the alleged abduction, these parents would not allow them to be re-interviewed by specialists trained in interviewing young children.

They could not understand why the parents would not allow the boys to provide DNA tests using safe, non-invasive Q-Tip swab testing. Police said they had DNA samples in the lab that they had not been able to rule out, and that it might have belonged to the boys.

On Oct. 21, Mike Thompson appears on national TV claiming he'd seen a man with a baby the night Baby Lisa disappeared.

On Oct. 28 Tacopina announces he’d fired local attorney Cyndy Short. Cyndy’s husband fired back saying he couldn’t fire her because he didn’t hire her. Cyndy stepped down saying she could not work with Tacopina. She said that though she was stepping down, she would continue searching for Baby Lisa as a citizen. Gil Abeyta, who came from Colorado to offer his assistance, said Cyndy was the best thing that happened to the case. He was sad to see her step down, though he understood why she felt she had to.

By Oct. 29 we learned about the mystery call made from Deborah’s cellphone to the cellphone of Megan Wright, someone Deborah claims she never knew.

By Nov. 2 local defense attorney John Picerno was added to the legal team.

On Nov. 5 it was announced that a potential suspect profile was submitted to police by Gil Abeyta's team.

On Nov. 9 Megan Wright said she went into panic mode when she found out the call from Deborah’s phone was made to her phone. Megan was living in a home with several other adults who had access to her phone that night.

Nov. 11 was Baby Lisa’s first birthday. Her brothers were finally interviewed the evening prior. Her parents did not participate in any public celebration for their daughter’s birthday.

On Nov. 13 it was reported that a custody battle was brewing over Baby Lisa’s father, Jeremy Irwin’s 8-year-old son.

On Nov. 15 Jeremy’s 8-year-old son’s mother filed for custody of their son. That same day, Deborah, Jeremy, and their two sons returned to the family home where Lisa was abducted. They had previously said they’d never return to the home. Some questioned if moving back was a strategical move suggested by the family’s legal team.

On Nov. 18 it was reported that handyman ‘Jersey’ bragged about being paid $300 to steal Baby Lisa. The report came from the parents’ local attorney, John Picerno, who alleged that the mother of a teenage girl told him that the girl’s boyfriend said he heard local handyman ‘Jersey’ brag he was paid $300 to steal Baby Lisa.

This created controversy over the fact that the information was third-hand.

On Nov. 19 Local KSHB NBC Action News investigative reporter Russ Ptacek reported that he met up with the teen’s boyfriend. At that point, it was reported Picerno did not have the male teen’s name and had not yet spoken with him. Ptacek spoke with the gentleman who adamantly denied saying Jersey bragged about receiving $300 for Baby Lisa. The teen’s boyfriend said he told someone that Jersey was the kind of person who could do something like that, not that he had actually done it.

Public skepticism

Experts say no one wants to believe a mother could harm her child. However, the public is skeptical since the Casey Anthony case, and others, where either they strongly believe the mother was involved, or it was proven the mother was responsible for their child's abduction and/or death.

Shelby's lies about her baby’s abduction will only add to the public's skepticism and their failure to react in a way that is most beneficial to the missing child - help find the baby instead of focusing on the family drama.

It was not police that found Baby Tyler's body. It was two citizens out walking their dogs. And it was very fortunate that in this case, the baby was quickly found. "We knew if we didn't act quickly we could have another Baby Lisa case on our hands," St. Louis County Police spokesman Rick Eckhardt said during a phone interview Thursday. Volunteer ground searches, coordinated with police, can be beneficial in gathering evidence in a timely manner. Where were the search parties in Baby Lisa's case? They were virtually non-existent other than the few people who performed small searches for the baby.

The father of a missing Washington boy and some of his relatives are expected to take polygraph tests, but police said Wednesday that the 2-year-old’s mother has declined an invitation to be tested herself.

Julia Biryukova has told police that her 2-year-old son, Sky Metalwala, vanished Sunday when she left him sleeping alone in her unlocked car after it ran out of gas.

That isn't the first time a baby disappeared from a car in recent weeks, though it is the first time that story was used in real life.

In a recent Law and Order: Special Victims Unit episode, which originally aired just two weeks before Sky went missing, a mother leaves her baby in a car and the car is stolen with the baby inside.

Investigators find holes in the mother's story and eventually find the car abandoned with no sign of the baby who ends up having died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

The episode, titled 'Missing Pieces', originally aired on October 19 and had 7.66 million viewers. The popular NBC drama is now in its 13th season and is known for basing story lines on real crimes.

Two episodes this season were based around famous scandals involving the former head of the International Monetary Fund Dominque Strauss-Khan and former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The mother of missing 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford has released a statement through her attorney. A letter written by Lena Lunsford, 29, was released from Woelfel & Woelfel LLP in Huntington on Wednesday. In it, Lena asks folks in the central West Virginia area to keep a vigilant eye for her daughter's whereabouts.

Lena originally reported Aliayah missing in September. She describes her as being about 3' tall and weighing 35 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Interviews with the older half brothers of missing baby Lisa Irwin are underway, Kansas City Police Department officials said Thursday afternoon.

The FBI is helping oversee the interviews by trained child specialists, police said.

The two half brothers were in the home when Lisa went missing. Her father, Jeremy Irwin, reported her missing at 4 a.m. Oct. 4. Her parents say she was snatched from her crib by a kidnapper, but her mother, Debbie Bradley, has said she expects to be arrested in connection with the case.

Lisa's first birthday is Friday.

$20,000 Reward Issued in Aliayah Lunsford Case

The FBI announced Thursday that it is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance of Aliayah Lunsford, 3.

"As soon as you'd see her she'd steal your heart," Great Uncle Jesse Prunty said. "She was loving, caring, not a mischievous bone in her. She just loved to play, play with her brother. She enjoyed it."

Prunty and his sister Vickie Bowen have decided to speak publicly about their great niece.

"The main reason is we feel Aliayah needs a voice and we feel no one else in the family has stepped up to do that," Bowen said.

Thursday marked 40 days since Aliayah disappeared from her Bendale-area home. FBI Special Agent Jeff Killeen discussed the reward and other updates in the case at a press conference at W.Va. State Police barracks Thursday afternoon.

"We know that this is the beginning of hunting season. We know people will be out in wooded areas. If anybody sees anything suspicious out there that relates to this case, we request your assistance," Killeen said.

New information should be reported to the W.Va. Fusion Center or by calling 304-558-4831. The center is staffed 24 hours a day, officials said. Killeen said investigators believe there is more information someone might be withholding.

Killeen said investigators are still considering three possibilities in her disappearance: homicide, kidnapping and concealment.

He also said their search last week of 35 acres in Vadis is now over and that last weekend's snowfall slowed the search.

"We have to bring enough evidence to convict someone beyond a reasonable doubt. If we divulged that information prematurely, that may jeopardize a criminal case," Killeen said.

But until the case is over, the community and Aliayah's family can only wait.

"[Children] can't speak for themselves. You just want to help them. Especially if you're a parent, you understand," said Weston resident Wendy Alkire, who lives near the Lunsford's Bendale home.

"I love this child. The community that never heard of this child before loves this child. And this child needs to be brought home," Bowen said.

"We're not going to give up, we're not going to lose hope, we're not going to lose faith. She will come home," Prunty said.

Killeen also told Bowen that Aliayah's family members are not under a gag order. He said by law, free speech applies unless a judge orders otherwise.

The FBI said a new poster with new photos of Aliayah will be released next week.

Wednesday marks 40 days since Aliayah Lunsford was last seen in her Lewis County home and there's no word on where she may be. Her great aunt, Vickie Bowen, says Aliayah's disappearance has resulted in many sleepless nights and they want to see her safely returned.

Bowen is doing something many of us may never do, and that's put her number out in the public for anyone to call. She's begging anyone with information to please call her, even if you don't want to release your identity.

Bowen released the following statement:

"I am begging, if anyone knows anything at all about where this child is, please call me at 304-493-9549. I will come and get her and I will ask no questions. Please we just want her home! You don't even have to tell me who you are, just arrange for me to pick her up. You don't have to be there. Tell me where she is an leave her there, Just please keep her safe. She is loved by so many. Please do this, we want her home!! If there is anyone out there with information and doesn't feel comfortable with calling 911 or the authorities for whatever reason, CALL ME PLEASE. You don't have to tell me who you are. Please, if you know ANYTHING that will help, call me. 304-493-9549 You can call me collect from a pay phone if you feel more confident in doing that."

The family will not say their personal opinions on what happened to Aliayah but they want to see whoever is responsible be fully prosecuted.

Aliayah's disappearance is still being investigated as a murder, a concealment or an abduction.

Source says 4-hour window for abduction of Baby Lisa

Lisa Irwin's parents and witnesses have told police that the missing infant was snatched during a four-hour period last month.

The source detailed the events that Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin have reported to police after their then 10-month-old daughter went missing.

The source requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the case. The details shed fresh light on the events leading up to Lisa's disappearance, which were both typical and unusual for the family.

Irwin discovered his daughter missing about 3:45 a.m. Oct. 4 and called 911 before 4 a.m. An Amber Alert was issued about three hours later, but police initially had questions for Bradley, who has said she expects to be arrested in connection with her daughter's disappearance.

The girl remains missing. Police have investigated more than 1,000 tips.

Here are the details of Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 as provided by the source this week:

Irwin spent the morning and early afternoon of Oct. 3 working as an electrician. He came home about 2:30 p.m. He ate with his family and played with Lisa, his son and Bradley's son.

Bradley and her brother, Phil Netz, left the home about 4:30 p.m. to go to the Festival Foods in the Northland to purchase a box of wine and baby items. Surveillance video captured them strolling through the grocery store and making the purchases around 4:45 p.m.

One of Bradley's relatives initially told KCTV5 that the alcohol was purchased for an upcoming family event. But Bradley later told reporters that she opened the box that night.

Netz and Bradley returned to baby Lisa's home about 5 p.m. Netz left his sister's home shortly after that, and Irwin headed to perform electrical work at a nearby Starbucks at about 5:30 p.m. He expected to be home later that night.

The next-door neighbor, Samantha Brando, was at the home before Netz and Bradley left. Brando came over with her 4-year-old daughter who played with Lisa's older half brothers. It is unclear whether she returned to her home or hung out with Irwin while Netz and Bradley went to the grocery store.

Brando left at about 6 p.m. to purchase alcohol for herself. She returned about 6:30 p.m. and her daughter reportedly remembers seeing baby Lisa in her crib about 6:30 p.m. when Bradley put the baby, who was battling a cold, down to sleep.

Bradley and Brando then sat on the front stoop, drinking, smoking cigarettes and chatting into the night.

Bradley admits she drank at least five glasses of wine and as many as 10 glasses between when she returned from Festival Foods and 10:30 p.m. She has defended her actions.

"She was sleeping. I don't see the problem with me having my grown-up time," Bradley told a reporter about her getting drunk while overseeing three young children. "I take good care of my kids."

She has said she may have passed out and was so intoxicated that she doesn't remember if she checked on her sleeping daughter when she went to bed at 10:30 p.m.

Bradley initially had said she last saw her baby at 10:30 p.m. but later said it was 6:30 p.m. when reporters raised questions about the Festival Foods surveillance video.

Brando says she last saw the baby at 4:30 p.m. Brando says she stayed outside talking to another neighbor until 11:30 p.m. and noticed nothing amiss so that the abductor could not have taken baby Lisa before then. Brando told police that the lights were out in baby Lisa's house when she went inside and to bed around 11:30 p.m.

The Starbucks job kept Irwin longer than he expected, but he did not use his work cell to call home. Bradley has said she was not alarmed by the delay.

Police have been able to verify that Irwin was at the Starbucks until about 3:30 a.m. and nothing unusual occurred.

Irwin returned to his home about 3:45 a.m. Oct. 4 and immediately noticed that the front door was unlocked and the lights were on. He discovered the window to the computer room was open and attempted to close it but was unable to do so.

He does not remember if the door to Lisa's room was open or not. He found his son in his bunk bed and Bradley and her son together in her bed along with a stray kitten she had just taken in.

Irwin was initially angry to discovery the kitten and the lights were on. He knew the family was in such dire financial straight that their cell phones could not make outgoing calls because of nonpayment. He was concerned about the electric bill and finding a cat at the foot of his bed.

Irwin says he woke up Bradley and asked her about the alarming signs in the home. Irwin said he realized he had not checked on Lisa and rushed to do so and found her crib empty.

This discovery sent the couple into a panic. The family's three cell phones were also missing from a counter. Irwin dashed to Brando's house demanding to know whether she had Lisa. She said she did not and asked why Lisa would be there instead of her own home.

As Bradley crumpled to the floor in a heap and sobbed, Irwin called 911 via his work cell phone. The dispatchers sent officers to check out a residential burglary in progress and that Irwin had reported his daughter missing. The officers were told of a previous theft complaint involving Irwin.

"The address is 3620 North Lister and the call notes are that he noticed that his 10-month-old daughter is missing and he's not sure how long she's been gone. And the screen is busted and he didn't witness anything," the dispatcher tells an officer.

Within four minutes of arriving, the first police officers asked for the assistance of higher ups.

Kansas City police have rejected releasing the 911 telephone call by Irwin or the dash cam video from the patrol car of the responding officers, citing it as an ongoing investigation as allowed by the Missouri Open Records law.

A month later, the question of where is baby Lisa captivates the Kansas City area, the nation and indeed the world.

Aliayah Lunsford has been missing for 5 WEEKS now...

If you thought Lisa Irwins Case was odd than you will also think Aliayah Lunsford disappearance is also out of Character. Just like Baby Lisa, Aliayah went missing the same week and she also disappeared from her bed in the middle of the night but Aliayah isn't getting any media coverage, really no one is looking for this poor little girl. Heres a little bit about Aliayah, she is the youngest of 5 and soon she will have a new baby brother or sister. Aliayahs mother lives with her parents who help support her and her 5 kids but Mommy isnt so innocent, she isnt the hard working single mother we all would like to hear about - actually shes one of the worst mothers in my opinion I have ever seen. Aliayah disappeared from her Bendale home Saturday morning. Her mother, Lena Lunsford, says Aliayah was sick, she checked on her around 6:30 a.m., and came back around 9:30 a.m. That's when she discovered she was missing but Lena didnt call 911 at 9:30 she called 911 at 11:30 am , 2 hours after she found her toddler daughter was missing from her bed. At one point, a K9 picked up a scent that ended in the West Fork River, just beside the home, but still there was nothing found, Investigators originally beleived Aliayah had wondered off on her own but after draining the river and searching far and wide this case soon took a turn for the worse, Aliayah didnt wonder off - she was either taken or something else happened ( a story we are hearing over and over again on the news ) But who would take Aliayah ?? The investigation into the disappearance of Aliayah Lunsford,3, continues in Lewis County, but community members say they will continue to hope for her safe return.Saturday marked five weeks since Aliayah disappeared from her Bendale home.

After more than a month searching the woods and in the water, police are still hesitant to release much information about their investigation.We do know that the WV State Police Mobile Command relocated last week to a more rural part of the county but have since moved back to the State Police barracks in Weston.There are no suspects named in the case yet, but police say it's still being investigated as either a murder, concealment or an abduction.

On another note , Aliayahs mother reputation isnt so great - Mrs. Lunsford has been arrested for Welfare fraud on all 5 of her kids, not to mention she has been arrested a handful of times and has falsy accused police officers of being inappropriate with her in the past... Ms. Lunsfords character and past decisions reflect highly on what could have happened to Aliayah...

Missouri baby Lisa Irwin’s maternal uncle was seen leaving a relative’s home where Lisa’s parents have been staying since she went missing.

KCTV 5 reports that on Tuesday two members of the Kansas City Police Department arrived at the home on North Waldrond where baby Lisa's parents and brothers have stayed since she went misisng, and after the first few days they stayed in a hotel.

It was reported Friday that two detectives entered the home, spent 30 minutes inside, and were seen leaving with the uncle. This is the baby's mother, Deborah Bradley's brother, the same brother who was seen in surveillance video shopping with Lisa's mother the night the baby went missing. She purchased a box of wine and baby products, and later admitted to getting drunk and possibly blacking out that night.

The case of missing baby Lisa Irwin took another turn Tuesday as a New York attorney named a Kansas City lawyer to partner with him in representing the parents.

Joseph Tacopina, a high-profile Manhattan criminal defense lawyer who joined the case on behalf of Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, announced that Kansas City attorney John Picerno would join the case.

A public dust-up late last week between Tacopina and his previous local counsel, Cyndy Short, led to Tuesday’s announcement. Short confirmed Monday that she no longer was on the case, saying that she and Tacopina did not make a good team.

That squabble, and other issues related to the legal representation in the case, has distracted both the investigation and the public’s vital attention to the case, Tacopina said in a written statement.

“While, understandably, the media and the public at large have a great interest in the hunt for baby Lisa and its search for answers, we feel at this time that the focus needs to shift back on the investigation and hopeful recovery Lisa, both alive and well,” Tacopina said in the statement.

The last two years on Caylees birthday we have posted up what Caylee would be doing today if her mother hadn't taken her life. This year a part of me is heartbroken to make this post, today belongs to Caylee no matter what, August 9 2005 defines Caylee Anthony, not June 16, not July 15 and not the day her mother was acquitted of murder. TODAY is the only day of the year that belongs to Caylee.

If Caylee was still alive today would be an amazing day for her, filled with kisses and hugs from her grandparents, presents, visitors, cake and games... Today Caylee would feel like she was on top of the world, today Caylee would feel so loved by everyone around her. But as we all know Caylee isnt here for her 6th birthday nor was she here for her 3rd, 4th or 5th.

Six years ago today an angel in disguise was born, on that day no one would have ever expected what was to come in the future, that day a mother was proud to be a mother and a grandmother was proud of her daughter and an angel was born. Six years ago today an amazing advocate for missing children was born even though she would never know the impact her presense would bring. Six years ago today Caylees Law was starting to be created, even though no one knew ...

TO ALL THE JURORS, "there wasn't enough evidence". Apparently, they do not understand what circumstantial evidence is. There was TONS of circumstantial evidence in this case. MUCH more than the Scott Peterson case and he got the death penalty.

I will help you out on what "circumstantial evidence" is according to the law. According to the law, behavior at the time of the offense in question is an important factor when determining (reasoning) guilt.

Circumstantial evidence is evidence in which an inference is required to connect it to a conclusion of fact. By contrast, direct evidence supports the truth of an assertion directly—i.e., without need for any additional evidence or the intervening inference. It is the nature of circumstantial evidence for more than one explanation to still be possible. Inference from one piece of circumstantial evidence may not guarantee accuracy. Circumstantial evidence usually accumulates into a collection, so that the pieces then become corroborating evidence. Together, they may more strongly support one particular inference over another. An explanation involving circumstantial evidence becomes more valid as proof of a fact when the alternative explanations have been ruled out.

Example: If someone was charged with theft of money and was then seen in a shopping spree purchasing expensive items, the shopping spree might be circumstantial evidence of the individual's guilt. If the person denies the shopping spree and attempts to cover up everything purchased, that is further circumstantial evidence. If the person claims someone else purchased the items and hid them in her closet when the items are discovered, that is even more circumstantial evidence.

Or if a person claims that a family member is missing when in actuality they are deceased, the cover up is circumstantial evidence of the individual's guilt.

The most important piece of circumstantial evidence in the Casey Anthony case was her BEHAVIORaround the time of the offense. There was a MOUNTAIN of circumstantial evidence.

1. When a person uncharacteristically disappears for a MONTH after the disappearance of her child, that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

2. When she makes up a story about a FAKE NANNY kidnapping their child at the time her child is missing, that is tremendous CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

3. When she LIES to the POLICE about why her daughter is missing, that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.When a person lies to friends and family, claiming their child is ALIVE when they are actually DEAD, that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

4. When the words "how to make chloroform" was searched on her computer numerous times and traces of it are found in her trunk, which also smells of human decomposition, that is EVIDENCE.

5. When the "missing" child ends up in a bag in the woods 6 months later, that is EVIDENCE.

6. When duct tape is found near the face of a dead child, that is EVIDENCE.

7. When the defendant is seen at Blockbuster happily renting videos the evening that her child went missing and/or died, that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

8. When the defendant is out dancing after her baby disappears or dies, that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

9. When a person appears happy or even "giddy" after the offense, that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

10. When a person does not appear SAD when their child is missing or dead, that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

11. When a person gets a tattoo that says "Beautiful Life" a few days after their child supposedly "accidentally drowned" that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

12. When numerous experts, along with cadaver dogs, testify to the smell of human decomposition being in her trunk, that is EVIDENCE.

13. When numerous experts state that the components found in her trunk are consistent with human decomposition, that is EVIDENCE. When that same car has been ABANDONED by the defendant, that is CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE.

14. When a hair from Caylee's head is found in the trunk with indication of human decomposition, that is EVIDENCE.

15. When a mother tells people that she spoke to her DEAD child a month after she died....circumstantial evidence doesn't get much stronger than that. A mother could never claim she spoke to her dead child if she was not covering up her own contribution to her death. It goes against the laws of motherhood and loving a child. Most mothers had rather stay in prison for the rest of their lives rather than utter those words.

The reason why Casey went free is because the jurors were IGNORANT of the LAW. Jennifer Ford is the perfect example of how it happened. She thinks you have to know CAUSE of death in order to convict someone. She thinks there was more evidence that there was a drowning although there was ZERO evidence of a drowning. There was ZERO circumstantial evidence of a drowning. She thinks you have to know HOW someone died in order to convict them. Not all murders have a bullet Ms Ford. Does ANYONE know how Laci Peterson died? No. Yet Scott Peterson still got First Degree Murder and was put on death row. For a very good reason. The jury followed the law and looked at the circumstantial evidence and came to the determination through logic and reasoning that Scott Peterson more than likely is the person who killed his wife. People are too busy watching CSI to understand how most murder cases are determined. IT IS THROUGH CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE. Just like in the Scott Peterson case. He got the death penalty with MUCH less circumstantial evidence than there was against Casey Anthony. For centuries we have been convicting murderers before forensics even existed. Forensics are quite often not there. Life is not a TV show.

To all the people who want to complain about people being upset that Casey Anthony went free, if you want to say that there was no evidence against Casey Anthony and that the jury did the right thing....I would suggest you start campaigning for Scott Peterson's release from prison because obviously you believe he was wrongly accused.

Police Look to Volunteers to Help Search for Katherine Phillips

Baby Kate first went missing last Wednesday when police say she was kidnapped bySean Phillips.

Police say Phillips took Kate from her mother at her apartment in Ludington.

Since then, police have arrested Phillips and been searching throughout Mason County for any clues to the whereabouts of the four month old.

Today they enlisted the help of local volunteers and searched a section of forest near the airport in Ludington.

The crews are looking for anything that can be connected to an infant.
