Kim Kardashian has been spotted leaving her hotel along with her sister Kourtney, for the private estate where the wedding will be held. It appears the guest are being shuttled to the location. Put your name on it! Monogram

2011-08-17T09:47:00.000-07:00

Just mailed my godson pillows with his name on them. I remember the first time my mother had my ribbons monogrammed.

She started monogramming for us because she had two girls that would argue over everything. Today as adults my sister and I will get identical gifts with our names engraved on each. Adding your initials to a pillow as a child was special. As an adult when I was married my aunt gifted me with monogramed sheets that even my husband noticed.

Stunning Note: Giving a monogramed gift is always a nice touch. But passing one on to a younger family members is the best reason to mongram. My daughter has my duffle bag from college and my son has my father money clip, both are cherished because the family love is passed on to a new generation

The Well Dressed Rain Boot A Must Have

Suri Cruise in her Rain Boots!!

A must have: Rain Boots!! This post is inspired by my daughter, at 14 she has 6 pairs of rain boots and now her new love is the Tory Burch Military Rain Boot. I have to admit I leave a pair in the trunk of my car, just in case I am caught in the rain. I am loving the new short style Gucci has out this year. I purchased my daughter first pair when she was 3 and she would wear those boots in the sunshine because the color was bright yellow.

If you want to purchase your first pair take a look at Hunter, the company has been in business since 1856 the Welly socks offer great color options. The best thing about rain boots you can make the purchase on in budget, Target offers many colors and styles for women and girls.

Stunning Note: Purchase a pair cut like a riding boot, they will look great with your skirts.

Kate Moss Wedding on the cover of Vogue

2011-08-12T08:13:00.000-07:00

John Galliano

Kate Moss had one of the most anticipated wedding this year. She is a fashion world darling, her wedding included just what one would expect. Now she is gracing the cover of American Vogue September issue. When I heard John Galliano deigned her bridal gown it added to my excitement. This was his first major project since his exit from DIOR. Moss advised she wanted classic Galliano when he started his design. Galliano was interviewed for the article. I love the fact she had Mario Testino as her photographer, Kate changed her wedding date to fit his schedule, appears as a model she understands the need for the right photographer to capture her wedding (note he also photographed the Royal Wedding this year)

Stunning Note: Your wedding should be the ultimate examples of your style, personal those items that mean the most to you.

We all deserve our dream closet. A great closet must be well organized and functional.

We have found that some take the time to make this a place of luxury and style.

The great thing about designing your closet, it can be done on any budget and at any size.

Stunning Note: A well-organized closet is the key to being on time for your events.

Ralph Lauren Designed Wedding Gown for Daugther Dylan

2011-07-29T08:43:00.000-07:00

"I had to do something that was better than ever before....When you do something for your family or your daughter, I mean it's the only daughter I have -- beautiful girl. I want to just give her something that she'd really treasure and give her something that would be really amazing. I want her to feel fantastic." This is a quote from Ralph Lauren in his interview with Oprah. I will say the designer gave his daughter a dress straight from his heart in true Ralph Lauren Fashion. Dylan called her dress Stunning.

Stunning Note: Dylan’s bridesmaids wore custom spanx. I love Spanx, every girl should have at least 3!

This made me think if my father had been a designer what would my dream gown have looked like? I have added some styles I would love to have worn below.

Note: None of these dresses look like the one I was married in, my taste has done a 180.

The last dress is my very favorite!!!

In 2005 NBA commissioner David Stern Implemented a mandatory dress code for all league players. Stern’s dress code stated that players must dress in business or conservative attire while arriving and departing a scheduled game.

The NBA players have taken the dress code to another level that even David Stern could not have expected. It appears the players have enlisted the help of stylist. The players have a pulled together polished appearance that could land them in GQ or Detail Magazines.

The style game is being played on and off the court, you will find these men are at the height of fashion. I have to give kudos to the Big Three the fashion styles are on point, I would love dress any of these guys.

Stunning Note: A well pulled together man should keep these things in mind.

1. Fit is Key ~ Find a tailor you love and build a relationship.

2. Keep it simple

3. Invest in a great pair of shoes

4. Learn to tie the Perfect Knot

5. Collect High Quality Dress Shirts

Daphne guinness wiht the designer.

Tom Binns designs jewelry that appear like pieces of art on the body. He has taken the art of layering to a new modern level that Coco Chanel would approve of.

His jewelry designs are a sweet mix of punk rock, heavy metal, and sophistication. I became familiar with the designer when I saw his pieces on Michelle Obama and Daphne Guinness
