EVGA has always been a great upgrade card because they manufacture quality items at very good prices. This card is no exception. The installation is easy only taking up 1 PCIe x16 slot. There is small fan just over the processor. The memory is only DDR2 which is ample for most games. The really nice part is that this card allows older machines to catch up to Direct X 10. I tried it with Vista 64 and it installed just fine. I also tried it with Vista 32 and had no issues.

I recenty got a inexpensive 19" HDTV which has decent enough video quality but it burdened with the WORST sound I've heard on a TV. Tinny sounding speakers with little volume. But there was a headphone jack on the TV. With headphones, the TV sounded excellent. My computer speakers were connected with a headphone jack... They worked just fine on the TV. But installation was fast and easy, the card was recognized and I was connected to my wifi router in no time at all. I liked that this had a little antennae that you could move up to the top of your desk to get a better signal, but the cord on it is pretty short and really only long enough for it to sit on top of the tower case. Which seems to work fine for me, I have a good strong steady signal and have had no problems at all with this card dropping connections, etc. Now if I could just get Vista to behave when it comes to networking, I'd be all set!

I used it to watch an entire movie with a group and they loved it. We projected it onto just the plain wall and the brightness was just fine with a lamp light turned on nearby. You won't be able to use it during broad daylight for a movie. The thing I love about it is that it's on full brightness all the time!
It's so refreshing to have a projector where you don't have to worry at all about conserving the bulb. It's a HUGE stress reliever. That's what you want in a portable projector, one that you can just pack and go and not worry about every time you use. The bulb will last the lifetime of the projector.

The LG provides a very clear picture for unscaled DVD movies and over the air digital signals. The speakers provide excellent sound for a small living room although the addition of a home theater system would substantially increase movie enjoyment. Standard definition signals also produces a stable clear picture. Colors are very good and the set provides sufficient tools to tweak the picture for personal preference.

This camera has been a very pleasant surprise for me. The low light capability is extraordinary and as for framing pictures in bright sunlight I am very glad I got the optional optical viewfinder that fits in the hotshoe. But the picture sharpness and color quality are breathtaking. There is a learning curve on the menus but once you get used to it there are many in-camera scene types to fool with, such as old-fashioned grainy black and white. Most importantly, it is ultra-portable and unobtrusive in a good-looking way. I am thrilled with it!

1. When I read the specs on it, I was in awe. 10 megapixel, 12X OPTICAL zoom. Here's the sweetest part about the zoom- if you planning to use smaller prints (i.e. 4X6), you can quickly adjust the camera's Megapixel (MP) count from 10 to 7, 5, and 3 to yield maximum OPTICAL zooms of 14.3, 17.1, and 21.4 respectably, without much loss of detail on such prints. I wish Panasonic would have allowed the camera to adjust the MP count automatically as you zoom, but it's not too much trouble to change the MP settings manually from the quick menu.
Another great feature: the camera's screen is beautiful at 460,000 pixels, twice the count as the rival Canon Powershot SX200 IS (more on that camera later). From the moment you view your first picture, you'll quickly notice how much sharper photos look on this camera. It's a nice convenience to view photos on the camera in a manner closer to the quality that will actually be seen when you're viewing them on the computer (and ultimately printing them).

2. I have a pro friend who got a review copy of this for a couple of days. He let me use it for one of them, as he hasn't shot with a point and shoot in a long time. I ordered my own within the first hour. What a camera. The zoom on this baby is amazing. It has a true wide angle and a long reach. Photos on both ends of the reach are sharp and have good color and saturation. I almost drooled when I printed out the samples. They are flat out the best point and shoot jpegs that I've had the pleasure of taking. Raw files would be nice but aren't available, nor is much in the way of manual exposure control. As a bit of a control freak, I thought that would be a problem but honestly, Panasonic's smart mode selection is brilliant at getting good, sharp exposures. Focusing is fast, even in low light. Flash seems fine, neither superior nor awful. I took 400 images and a short movie on my first outing and the battery still had some juice. It also has fast and accurate face detection. Holding the camera in my hand, pointing it in the general direction of people on the street without being obvious got consistently good focus. Oh, the image stabilization works very well, too.
