Verizon Wireless is delaying launch of Galaxy Nexus by Samsung Cell Phones.
We have never had a official announcement for the Nexus. Some leaked documents showed a Galaxy Nexus arriving at Verizon on December 9, 2011 which made sence because Verizon almost always releases phones on Thursdays.
The newest Nexus Cell Phone is loaded with Android 4.0 OS and is to be the first device with the new Mobile OS in the States. The UK has already been selling the Ice Cream Phones, but the US Version is said the be a fresh frozen version.
The Nexus Galaxy Ice Cream Phone tentativly going to be sold for $299.99 with a 2 year contract.

The Android Nexus appears to be poised as the next Nexus Google phone. Many of the most authoritative websites have obtained relevant information.
Seeing we just had the Nexus 4G Galaxy S Phone dropped on us our view is don't hold your breath. That said Christmas 2011 is coming and so is iPhone 5. These are compelling reasons to push out the new Nexus.
Will Google Android launch Ice Cream OS with the Samsung Nexus S 4G or the newest Nexus is a good question. We are in exciting times of technology and if Google does release an updated Google Phone before iPhone 5 arrives we fully expect to see the newest Operating System included.

Dubbed the Nexus Prime, which could end up being the official name, the device itself could bring us a large display with a 720p HD resolution. The handset has been confirmed to sport Samsung’s latest iteration of its AMOLED screens, Super AMOLED HD. The Google Phone is now available at Best Buy for the ATT Wireless Network. On July 21, 2011 Google announced the Nexus S will be available for pre orders and in stores on July 24.

Nexus S runs Android 2.3 and features a 4” Super AMOLED screen, a 1 GHz processor for showing 3D graphics, front and rear facing cameras and support for NFC. It also features the latest Google mobile apps, including Google Earth, Google Maps with Navigation, Google Talk with video chat, Google Voice and Voice Actions, as well as access to more than 250,000 apps in Android Market.

Nexus S for AT&T will be available in Best Buy stores starting July 24. For those of you who just can’t wait, it’s on pre-sale today in Best Buy stores.

Has Nexus 3 Been Outed With Leaked Photos

Like any good bloggers we follow other blogs. To our surprise our friends over at Android Phone Guides have a story about some leaked images over on Tech Hog. Tech Hog had the supposed leaked HTC Nexus 3 Image only posted for a short time and claimed it came from an inside source.

The story and image where both removed within hours. The Blog claimed they where asked to take down the information. Now this could be a bunch of BS or these guys came close to getting someone fired or sued themselves. It is entirely possible the whole thing is simply a elaborate hoax to get traffic to a website. We never heard of Tech Hog and can't say if they have the goods or not.

As our source blog points out the fact that a Nexus 3 is coming is not news. Google developers told us multiple times at IO 2011 and it will have Ice Cream and it will be here in 2011.

The purpose of Ice Cream AKA Android 4 is to prevent further fragmentation of the Operating System. Ice Cream will bring together Honeycomb and Gingerbread for a stable Mobile OS. Installing Android on manufacturers phones has had a mashup effect. Ice Cream is being built to solve that fragmentation.

We are big Netflix users around here. After watching most every movie in the library I came across Android.

Not many people have heard of the low budget film based in the future not to far from now. It only has around a half dozen characters. Mostly unscrupulous rolls played by unknowns.

A Android Name Max 404 lets a group of convicts on to a space station in which a almost mad scientist is doing research into human emotions with humanoids. Mainly Max 404 until he finds out that one of the bad guys is actually a female whom he wants Max 404 to have sex with. Lets just say she isn't saying no!

The Google Mobile Blog announced on March 21, 2011 that the Nexus S for Sprint is official. Optimization for 4G Networks is in full swing.
Google Mobile co-developed Nexus S 4G with Samsung to closly integrate hardware and software in adition to highlighting the advancements of Gingerbread. Nexus S 4G running on Sprint’s high-speed 4G data network is fully optimized. It features a 4” Contour Display designed to fit nicly in the palm of the hand and along the side of the users face. Nexus S features a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, front and rear facing cameras, 16GB of internal memory, and NFC (near field communication) hardware that lets users read information from everyday objects that have NFC tags.

It’s only been weeks since the official announcement of Honeycomb, the latest edition of Android, and we’ve already seen developers here at XDA manage to run it on existing devices. However, its recent port to Google’s Nexus One is probably the most interesting of all, as this is arguably the most popular device that the tablet-oriented operating system has been shown to work on.
With the help of other developer, XDA member bypass23 has used the Honeycomb SDK to compile a booting ROM for his phone. Of course, with development at such an early stage, you should not expect much (if anything) to be working if you do choose to flash his work. Nonetheless, it is very interesting to see how quickly Honeycomb has been ported for such a mainstream device, and it can only mean good things for the future.

It's not unusual that Android gets updated after a new release. The Android Gingerbread update that is dropping just 2 days before Christmas appears to contain minor bug fixes. The update (GRH78) contains "important bug fixes plus the latest version of Maps." according to Android Central
For those who just can't wait you can find the files and instructions to do the manual update on AC too. If you are out going and do the manual update we would love to hear from you. We have heard that many users have successfully completed it and see only minor differences.
