This year is no exception and the Summer 2013 collection, on view at the Closed boutique in Amsterdam’s Nine Streets is looking über cool. Denim jeans & pants abound in a huge variety of cuts and colours. There are lots of highlights not least of which is the black stretch denim Arizona, a low rise straight leg jeans with a dash of biker influence.

During this weekend, which has now become a very popular annual event, Shirdak presents an extensive collection of tribal textiles from Central Asia, China and Africa. This is an opportunity to buy silk road textiles such as Ikat Coats and Suzani Rugs from Uzbekistan at very good prices. Also on show, embroidered hats from Afghanistan, linen from Hungary and wonderful textiles of the Miao peoples of China.
AND…during this weekend only, 20% off all Shyrdak felt rugs from Kyrgyzstan.
