According to him, such facilities are not located in the center of Kyiv, but are hidden and fortified structures. Kartapolov also did not rule out attacks on bridges across the Dnieper, but noted that they were designed by Soviet engineers and built by Soviet builders from Soviet materials with the expectation that they could withstand hundreds of strikes. Therefore, their destruction would require a large number of powerful ammunition. According to him, such strikes will become possible when Russian heavy aerial bombs can reach strategically important crossings.

Answering the question of whether Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself could be a target of a strike, the deputy replied that this is determined by "only one person - our Supreme Commander-in-Chief". Therefore, on this issue, he would prefer "not to engage in speculation".

I voted. I almost wasn't going to, but I decided I needed to vote against Democrats for having made such a clusterfuck out of my state... not enough to merely not vote for them when I could help send them a message.

I took my months of piling up laundry to the laundry service because my washing machine is broken... and I went back two days later and picked it up... took all my muscles both ways, but I'm not going to look so much like a bag lady now my laundry's been done.

I went to the supermarket. I went to the rez store. I paid my bills. I put pot lids over my stove burners so the mouse who hangs out there can't use those as entries and exits for rambles around my kitchen counter. I can hear that little fucker in there trying to lift the pot lids at this very moment. I am halfway through cleaning and disinfecting that counter and everything on it for the millionth time right now, but may put off the other half for after my morning nap.

I bought some postage stamps and mailed in my mileage form to my insurance company. I got some new pillows for my bed on serious sale because the old ones were just too goddam decrepit to remain serviceable. I still can't quite make myself go to the ER about this INSANE arthritis. It's got to happen soon, though, because if I can't park right in front of where I'm going I'm pretty well nearly dead before I can get in there.

I have been going out in my yard with scraps for the ravens daily. Soon will have to go out with water for my plants... but going outside is good for me and moving around is good for me.

But, basically, I just wanted to brag that I'm not completely non-functional yet and feeling a little smug about that goddam mouse being thwarted but good right now. It's a pain in the ass to have to keep those burners covered like that, but every time he rattles around under them in irked bewilderment, it makes me smile.
