It was full of extremes to say the least. Let me start at the beginning. 

I got the best news of my life in August of 2013 - my husband and I were expecting!! We had been trying for a while and had finally been blessed with this new life and truly starting a family.

Now, we aren&#39;t the green beer and pot of gold Irish, we are the corned beef and shepherd&#39;s pie dinner at home type. There must be good beer, of course, but we make sure it&#39;s Guinness and Smithwicks with a round of Irish Coffee and Bushmills for an aperitif.

We are spending the weekend in a rental apartment in Syracuse, NY. Everything was covered in a picturesque layer of snow and the moment we arrived, a welcoming flurry greeted us with a cool February smile.

Snowstorm Nemo made its way through New York City and up the east coast fulfilling the snowy wishes of those of us that haven’t seen much of the white stuff so far this winter. was an Early Grey tea with extra bergamont, vanilla and lavender added

Since 1895, Louis&#39; Lunch has been making the Hamburger Sandwich.
