The Novelista Barista

It is finally here. It has been a year since my whole life changed and I got more serious about school and saving money and working with kids instead of in sales. It's also almost been a year since the whole relationship I had of mine went down the drain and it has been a constant headache for mostly the whole year after, which is now finally over, again.

As we go into the holiday season, I wish I was in Florida with my niece. But I cannot go there until January due to school and work.

Here is what I have been learning in the past couple of months........

-School is also almost done, which I am sure everyone else is very excited about as well, except we finish December 22nd... like who the hell is really thinking about what is on their final on December 22nd? The only thing I am thinking that day is, who the hell do I need gifts for and where in the hell am I going to get them that doesn't have a line out the door where I might die trying to buy it?

-I have had crazy shit happen with men and "relationships" in the past couple of months since I have been MIA, and its too much stupid shit to write about or even wanting to talk about it, but I can sum it up in some sentences:

-My ex will always be the person that he is and he will never change no matter how good I am to him.
-Portuguese men are my new favorite people
-21 year olds are so fucking dumb
-If I am asking you for help as a desperate measure and you tell me you can be there in an 1 1/2 hours, pretty sure you will not be graced by my presence again
-If you're 45 and stalking me at my bar and having flowers delivered to me and shoving money at me and still I am not attracted to you, give up!!!!
-Albanians are crazy as fuck but so damn hot
-Nice men will always finish last... just like nice girls.

-iPhone touch screens are very difficult, even worse when driving or drinking.

-I made sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving but I burned them and had to redo the marshmallows... lol

That is pretttttty much the gist of life living in my new apartment.

i am back.
i took a long break from here due to having to move and being stressed about it and not having any time to do anything but search craigslist for apartments, but I have finally moved and now have some time back in my life again.
i was also suffering from things to write about as well.
I have a couple things on my mind i'd like to write about again though, so they will be up and coming.

i hope all has been well and i look forward to coming back to the blogger world again.

This search has been horrible. And it sucks even more that it is closer to my piece of shit ex, M, who I am no longer talking to, again, but you know what? I will not go out of my way to see him or talk to him or communicate so as long as he returns the favor, it will make no difference that I live closer. It was supposed to be like that, I move closer and we are done again. SO I just can't wait to get this move over with.. I love my apartment I am in now, but I can't stay here forever I guess, so it is what it is.

I will be able to enjoy life besides having craigslist control it now lol.

And obviously like half of the world, it is just not happening for me.

I have tried so many different things and I wouldnt say that my skin is HORRIBLE... but like, i want it to look like the picture above!

Now, i just ordered proactiv because i believe the commercials lol and i want to believe it will make my skin look like the above.

i cannot believe its september already, and i have to go back to school already next week. blah! although i do love the fall, i hate what comes after it. the time with summer is always so short and so hot that when fall comes its a relief but i wish fall lasted as long as winter and then it was spring.

Hurricane Irene

How were you effected by the hurricane? I really didnt see or hear much of it. I stayed with M in the Bronx and it was pouring rain and the most we did was run down to the Irish bar and drank, but on the way back we got soaked from running in the pouring rain! It was good times though.

Although today I did get into my car and there was a puddle of water in the drivers seat floor....How that got there I have NO clue..

Anyone else have any damage?

Thats about all that happened or so i saw in DC... no damage in New York City...but still. ARE WE IN CALIFORNIA?!!?!

We get winter -- don't give us this earthquake bullshit!

I did not feel it, i happen to be in Bed Bath and Beyond at that time and honestly if it did happen where i was, I was looking at sheets and comforters so there was no way I really would have noticed.

Right before this all happened there was a fire at my preschool, so we had to bring the kids out from nap time so that was crazy...

very interesting day!

Although the weekend this week is not my favorite because I am working every night at the bar, i hope everyone else gets to enjoy their weekend.

sorry i have been MIA, the summer and life has taken over and i havent had time to write about anything, and i havent been home much.

between my ex now not really ex but more so the present but not dating (whatever the hell that means), work and my other work, and starting to look for apartments for october, lifes been busy. All i want to do is go back to the beach and just lay out haha

looks like come end of october i will be getting a 1 bedroom apartment.. unless i can find someone to live with, but i really am not going to just settle for someone. and i COULD live at home... but my choices are the cat room or the basement...... and its far from my job(s), friends and school. ehhhhhh.
