HBC Confirmed To Be in Les Miserables

It has been confirmed that Helena will play Madame Thénardier in the upcoming film version of the popular musical, Les Miserables. The film is to be directed by Tom Hooper, who also directed Helena in The King's Speech. Other cast members include Russel Crowe and Hugh Jackman, with Anne Hathaway and Geoffrey Rush possibly joining them.

Frankenweenie Remake Is Moving Along

The full length adaption of Tim Burton's Frankenweenie has been in the works for a very long time. Back when Burton did the original short in 1984, he had wanted it to be a full length stop-motion film like The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride. While the release date of October 5th 2012 is still a long wait, the film has gotten a logo (above) and official synopsis:

From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.A stop-motion animated film, “Frankenweenie” will be filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which will elevate the classic style to a whole new experience.

Of course stop motion takes an incredibly long time, and with over 200 puppets in the film a lot of effort has to be put in to create just one scene.

Catch the stars of Harry Potter as they sit down with Larry King on July 10 at 8pm and again at 11pm ET for Harry Potter: The Final Chapter

Everyone's favorites- Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Helena Bonham Carter and Robbie Coltrane will all be a part of the show. As the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part II draws near, XFINITY is releasing new content every week leading up to the movie's premiere!

You can find new extras on XFINITY On Demand, xfinityTV.com, and through the XFINITY TV app on June 24th, July 1st and July 8th.

In addition to this content (that you won't be able to see anywhere else), they are also making all previous Harry Potter movies available on XFINITY On Demand and on xfinityTV.com

Don't subscribe to XFINITY, but still want access to this?
Like their Facebook page and look for a post on Friday, June 24th. Once 715 fans like that post, they will release the content to everyone on xfinityTV.com-- so spread the word to all your friends! They'll do the same on July 1st and 8th.
